Many countries concern about environmental problems. Therefore, they have made regulation for mandatory reduction of greenhouse gases. Electric Vehicles(EVs) are one of the most effective counterproposals for it. EVs are usually charging for it by using actual distribution system of the Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO). However, it could cause adverse effects such as increase of the power demand and voltage variation on the distribution system. To reduce adverse effects for demand power side, in this paper, charging for EVs by using PV(Photovolatic Power Generation) connected with ESS(Energy Storage System) are modeled by using Electro Magnetic Transient Program(EMTP). And then, the simulation results are compared with EVs that are connected to the distribution system of KEPCO for using charge.
Recently, distributed generation using renewable energy resources have increased due to the limitation of conventional energy. To utilize these energy source effectively, a method of applying the energy storage system(ESS) in distribution system has been considered. In this paper, we simulated the one line-to-ground fault in power system with ESS. Based on these simulations, we analyzed the effect on Over Current Relay(OCR) operation. As a result, ESS operation modes result fault current fluctuation. Thus, OCR need to reset the pick up current. This paper analyze effect of ESS in distribution system according to OCR setting by using ElectroMagnetic Transient Program(EMTP).
The cascaded H-bridge (CHB) multilevel converter is a promising topology for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems. The output voltage over-modulation derived by the inter-module active power imbalance is one of the key issues for CHB PV systems. This paper proposed a dynamic power distribution strategy to eliminate the over-modulation in a CHB PV system by suitably redistributing the reactive power among the inverter modules of the CHB PV system. The proposed strategy can effectively extend the operating region of the CHB PV system with a simple control algorithm and easy implementation. Simulation and experimental results carried out on a seven-level CHB grid-connected PV system are shown to validate the proposed strategy.

This paper presents an application of a improved branch exchange (IBE) algorithm with a tie branch power (TBP) flow equation to solve the Optimal Routing problem for operation of a radial Power system including power distribution system. The main objective of the Optimal Routing problem usually is to minimize the network real power loss and to improve the voltage profile in the network. The new BE algorithm adopts newly designed methods which are composed by decision method of maximum loss reduction and new index of loss exchange in loop network Thus, the proposed algorithm in this paper can search the optimal topological structures of distribution feeders by changing the open/closed states of the sectionalizing and tie switches. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated with the practical IEEE 32, 69 bus test systems and KEPCO 148 bus test system to show favorable performance gained.

Traditionally, load flows have been calculated using the Gauss-Seidel and Newton-Raphson Method. DistFlow Method which is proposed by Wu and Baran is superior to the other two methods because it does not require the admittance matrix calculation to optimize the distribution system. This paper introduces a new alternative algorithm to the DistFlow Method which is slow and complex to find solutions as the number of lateral and sublateral increases. The proposed load flow method can construct System Jacobian easily. We can minimize the off-diagonal elements of the branch Jacobian and submatrices in the System Jacobian. Simulation results show that progressive performances of the proposed algorithm have a better convergence time.
Recently convergence of IT in logistics system as a typical application RFID/NFC technology is being used, such as, according to the distribution of the flow is generated by a lot of big data. The Hadoop distributed system to collect data items produced by the parallel processing capabilities of logistics information and logistics information for the record management can create. Hadoop system to support the design and development of prototypes were approaching the possibility of its utilization.

This paper deals with a Z-source active power filter(Z-AFU) for mitigation voltage THD(total harmonic distortion) due to voltage harmonic propagation(amplification) in 6.6kv power distribution system. Bus voltage harmonic signal is detected by 60Hz butterworth BPF(band pass filter). As an ESS(energy storage system) of the proposed system, PEM fuel cells(Ballard NEXA, 1.2kw) is employed. Test results based on PSIM(power electronics simulation tool) validate the proposed approach.

The importance of DC breakers as key protection equipment is increasing in accordance with growing concerns on MVDC distribution network systems without DC/AC conversion. Different from the situation in AC systems, no natural zero-crossing point exists in DC systems. Thus, DC breaker technology is more difficult than AC breaker technology. The solutions for DC breakers can be divided into three types: mechanical, power electronics, and hybrid. In this study, the operating principles of several topologies of hybrid circuit breakers and that of the proposed DC breaker are analyzed and simulated by sorting two types. The breakers are compared in terms of the type and number of semiconductors, volume, power loss, auxiliary components, isolation, and other aspects. The advantages and disadvantages of the breakers are also analyzed.
Purpose - The Education Ministry has plans to select top 10 percent academic journals among the domestic registration journals in NRF(National Research Foundation of Korea), and designate them as outstanding academic journals. To reflect this trend, KODISA has set its sights on paper publication rate and citation index with pushing forward globalism. First, this study will arrange the process of globalism and the current state of paper submission, and propose the direction of improvement in academic journals through understanding the characteristics of each major field. Research design, data, and methodology - KODISA has preceeded in examining and publishing research papers related to distribution field through indirectly or stimulating academic advancement. KODISA covers the whole fields in social science as well as in business administration and economics that associated with distribution field not limiting only within the range of distribution field. That is, the new subject that contributes to the progress in distribution field with original research can be a priority criteria in KODISA journal publication. Results - The major fields in papers published in KODISA can be categorized broadly as distribution field with economic and business administration point of view. Therefore, the distribution field with economic point of view includes the issues such as regulations, system, industry, market environment, distribution system, trade, and macroeconomics, etc. The business administration point of view in distribution includes distribution strategy, distribution organization, and distribution channel from the perspectives of the firm, etc. Conclusions - The aim of KODISA in 2020 is to be a global academic journal as SCI level of each journal in KODISA, JDS(Registration journal), IJIDB(Registration candidate), EAJBM(Registration candidate), JAFEB(Cabell's Registration journal). The KODISA journals have already settled as the largest academic society and journals of Korea in 2016 currently from humanities and social sciences area by the most gross in publication circulation, volumes, and types. Hereafter, KODISA will focus on the improvement for the objective indicators such as Impact Factor and Centrality index as qualitative growth as well as quantitative expansion. By doing so, KODISA will be a forum for developmental academic debate with attracting the world's greatest scholars' papers. Furthermore, they will be recognized journals and grow as the first-rate academic journals inside and outside of Korea.
A mismatch between the training and the test conditions often causes a drastic decrease in the performance of the speech recognition systems. In this paper, non-linear transformation techniques based on histogram equalization in the acoustic feature space are studied for reducing the mismatched condition. The purpose of histogram equalization(HEQ) is to convert the probability distribution of test speech into the probability distribution of training speech. While conventional histogram equalization methods consider only the probability distribution of a test speech, for noise-corrupted test speech, its probability distribution is also distorted. The transformation function obtained by this distorted probability distribution maybe bring about miss-transformation of feature vectors, and this causes the performance of histogram equalization to decrease. Therefore, this paper proposes a new method of calculating noise-removed probability distribution by using assumption that the CDF of noisy speech feature vectors consists of component of speech feature vectors and component of noise feature vectors, and this compensated probability distribution is used in HEQ process. In the AURORA-2 framework, the proposed method reduced the error rate by over $44\%$ in clean training condition compared to the baseline system. For multi training condition, the proposed methods are also better than the baseline system.
