Recently, web services have been expanded to various areas with the evolution of cloud environment. Whenever a user accesses a web service, the user's log information is stored in the web server. This log information is used as data to analyze the user's web service tendencies and is also used as important data to track the user's system access when a security problem in the system occurs. Currently, most web servers manage user log information in a centralized manner. When user log information is managed in a centralized manner, it is simple in the side of operation, but has a disadvantage of being very vulnerable to external malicious attacks. In the case of centralized management, user log information stored in the web server can be arbitrarily manipulated by external attacks, and in severe cases, the manipulated information can be leaked. In this case, it not only decreases the trust of the web service, but also makes it difficult to trace the source and cause of the attack on the web server. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a new method of managing user log information in a cloud environment by applying blockchain technology as an alternative to the existing centralized log management method. The proposed method can manage log information safely from external attacks because user log information is distributed and stored in blockchain on a private network with cloud environment.
As an initial step toward the improvement of sexual education in middle school students, a survey on sexual attitudes and experience was done in Kangwon - Do, Korea. Questionnaires consisted of 68 items distributed to 240 boys and 240 girls from November 1 to December 20, 1996. Answers from 420 students were subjected to an analysis with SPSS. 92.4% of the girls experienced menstruation. Of them, 74.0% showed a negative reaction. 52.0% of the boys experienced night ejaculation. Of them, 81. 7% showed a negative reaction. Boys (64.3%) masturbated more than girls (17. 6%) (p= 0.0000). The understanding of masturbation was higher in boys than in girls (p = 0.0000). 87.2% of the subjects wished meetings with the opposite sex. During the meeting with the opposite sex, 12.9% of the students enjoyed drinking or smoking, 8.8% had intercourse. Boys(91.9%) watched pornography or porno-video more than girls(40.5%)(p=0.0000). 83.3% of the girls thought that both males and females should keep their virginity untill marriage. However, only 48.6% of boys thought that(p=0.0000). Of boys who had experienced sexual touch, 34.8% had intercourse. Of the 30 students(26 boys, 4 girls) who experienced sexual intercourse, 22 students had partners of the opposite sex and were friends. First intercourse 63.4% of these students had their in middle school period. The frequencys of sexual intercourse (more than 6times) was written by 12 students (40.0%). 24 students(16 boys and 8 girls) experienced sexual violence. As for dealing with sexual violence, 14 suffered by him or herself whill 7 students discussed it with a friend. There was a significant difference in the sources of information between boys and girls(p= 0.000), 36.0% had learned from an official sexual education source, usually from school nurses (74.0%). 92.6% of the students thought that sexual education was necessary. They believed that the appropriate person for sexual education was from a school nurse (53.1%) or from parents (19.5%). According to the above results, the following might be suggested: Realistic and future-directed sexual education material should be developed : Education programs to improve students insight and control sexual desire should be prepared: a systematic approach to activate the role of school nurse in sexual education should be prepared.

Cloud computing services have became an hot issues in business fields while the IT-related global company such as Amazon, MS, and Google took part in. The cloud computing makes it possible to share in the form of outsourcing of hardware and software through the Internet, to build a distributed computing environment via multiple terminals, and to reduce the cost using open source. Such a cloud computing services have not shown any significant growth in Korea yet compared to other countries. Therefore, in this study focusing on public cloud computing services, it is intended to analyze the determinants of public cloud computing services using the technology model. Thus, for users using public cloud services, we conducted a questionnaire survey from the beginning of January 2013 to the end of February 2013. And we derived a research model based on the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). As a result of this study, it shows that personal aspects significantly impacts on the perceived usability, service aspects, systems aspects, and the intent of the technology acceptances. System aspects significantly effect on the intent of technology acceptances. Perceived usability significantly effects on the service aspects and the systems aspects. The main factors effecting on the intent of the technology acceptances are system aspects and perceived usability in order. And it shows that the personal aspects decreases the intent of the technology acceptances.

A planar solid oxide fuel cell (PSOFC) is studied in its application in a high-temperature stationary power plant. Even though PSOFCs with external reformers are designed for application from the distributed power source to the central power plant, such PSOFCs may sacrifice more system efficiency than internally reformed SOFCs. In this study, modeling of the PSOFC with an external reformer was developed to analyze the feasibility of thermal energy utilization for the external reformer. The PSOFC system model includes the stack, reformer, burner, heat exchanger, blower, pump, PID controller, 3-way valve, reactor, mixer, and steam separator. The model was developed under the Matlab/Simulink environment with Thermolib$^{(R)}$ modules. The model was used to study the system performance according to its configuration. Three configurations of the SOFC system were selected for the comparison of the system performance. The system configuration considered the cathode recirculation, thermal sources for the external reformer, heat-up of operating gases, and condensate anode off-gas for the enhancement of the fuel concentration. The simulation results show that the magnitude of the electric efficiency of the PSOFC system for Case 2 is 12.13% higher than that for Case 1 (reference case), and the thermal efficiency of the PSOFC system for Case 3 is 76.12%, which is the highest of all the cases investigated.
Based upon the lead isotopic compositions of the galenas collected from Pb-Zn ore deposits distributed in the eastern and southern parts of the Gyeongsang basin, we investigated what kinds of source materials were involved in the formation of these ore deposits and compared the lead isotopic characteristics of these ore deposits with those of the ore deposits in the Taebaegsan area. The isotopic compositions of the common leads from Pb-Zn ore deposits in the Gyeongsang basin show the variation with the relatively limited range ($^{206}Pb/^{204}Pb=18.156{\sim}18.377$, $^{207}Pb/^{204}Pb=15.482{\sim}15.638$, and $^{208}Pb/^{204}Pb=37.953{\sim}38.605$). They are plotted on or below ore lead growth curve(Cumming & Richards, 1975) and average crustal lead evolution curve (Stacey & Kramer, 1975). In the plumbotectonic model IV(Zartman & Haines, 1988), they are plotted between the evolution curves of mantle and orogene. But the lead isotopic compositions of the common leads in the Taebaegsan area are plotted on and above upper crust curve. Considering the above-mentioned lead isotopic characteristics, the linear trend shown in the isotopic compositions of the common leads in the Gyeongsang basin can be considered as the mixing isochron between high radiogenic crustal materials such as the Ryongnam massif and low radiogenic materials derived from depleted mantle or materials with relatively low U/Pb and Th/U ratios.

Salsola collina (S. collina) is an annual plant widely distributed in drought and semi-drought areas, which has been used for a long time as a kind of folk remedy in traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of hypertension. Previously, the anti-oxidative and anti-cancer activities of S. collina were elucidated in our research group. In this study, the anti-obesity activities of S. collina ethanol extract (SCEE) were evaluated using a pancreatic lipase enzyme inhibition assay and cell culture model. The results showed that SCEE effectively suppressed pancreatic lipase enzyme activity in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, SCEE significantly suppressed adipocyte differentiation, lipid accumulation, and triglyceride (TG) content, and triggered lipolysis on insulin, dexamethasone, and 3-isobutyl-l-methylxanthine-treated 3T3-L1 preadipocytes in a dose-dependent manner without cytotoxicity. Its anti-obesity effect was modulated by cytidine-cytidine-adenosine-adenosine-thymidine (CCAAT)/enhancer binding proteins ${\alpha}$ ($C/EBP{\alpha}$), $C/EBP{\beta}$, and the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor ${\gamma}$ ($PPAR{\gamma}$) gene, as well as protein expressions. Taken together, these results offer the important new insight that S. collina possesses anti-obesity properties, such as pancreatic lipase inhibition and anti-adipogenic and lipolysis effects through the modulation of their upstream signaling pathway. It could become a promising source in the field of nutraceuticals, and the identification of active compounds that confer the biological activities of SCEE may be needed.
A study on the grain size change, sedimentary facies and age indicator of volcanic tephra was analysis through four cores (P1 ~ P4) at the Ulleung Basin in the East Sea of Korea. The two cores (P1 and P2) were collected in the northeastern side of the Ulleung Basin (about 2,000 m in water depth), while the other two cores (P3 and P4) with the water depth of about 1,500 m and 1,700 m, respectively, were collected from the continental slope of the southwestern and western side of the Ulleung Basin. Four sedimentary facies and eight sedimentary subfacies were identified. The four facies were massive sand, bioturbated mud, homogeneous mud, and laminated mud. The eight subfacies were further divided as pumiceous ash massive sand, scorieaous massive sand, plain bioturbated mud, pyrite filamented bioturbated mud, distinctly laminated mud, indistinctly laminated mud, thinly laminated mud and homogeneous mud. The homogeneous mud was not found in the core of P3 which is located in the western side of Ulleung Basin (close to the Korean coast). In the case of laminated mud facies, the thinly laminated mud facies was dominated in the lower part of core sequences of the Ulleung Basin (P1 and P2), while the indistinctly laminated mud were overally distributed in the core sequences from the continental slope of Ulleung Basin. The Tephra layers from the core sequences of central Ulleung Basin were more dominated and distinctive than those from the core sequences of continental slope. This is related to the distance from the volcanic source and the amount of sediment supply. The core locations of Ulleung-Oki Tephra layers in the central Ulleung Basin were in the upper part of core sequences, while those in the continental slope were in the lower part of core sequences. This is indicated that the amounts of sediment supply in the continental slope after the Ulleung-Oki eruption were very high and different sedimentary environment between upper and lower of Tephra layer.
After investigating the developmental process of galls forming on leaf of Zelkova serrata and analyzing the composition and contents of the free amino acids in leaves, galls and haemolymph of aphids, we have come to the following results. Galls induced were mostly distributed on the middle of lower part of leaf to the petiole along vein and most of investigated leaves had one gall only. The growth of galls continued in length and width until Paracolopha morrisoni habitants which transformed into alate adult left the gall. These results also indicate that galls are closely connected with a portion of plant tissues as well as foods and habitats of aphids. 26${\sim}$29 kinds of free amino acids such as proline, alanine and valine and so on, detected in leaves, gall and haemolymph of aphids. The composition of free amino acids were similar in three materials examined, but proline and asparatic acid showed the highest quantity in the leaves and falls, respectively. In case of aphids, alanine was extremely higher as 18.4% of total contents of free amino acids, in 1st instar of fundatrix stage. Total contents of free amino acids in the apteral adult stage of aphid were also increased than in the 1st instar stage. This investigation implies that nitrogen source such as free amino acids is apparently a major growth-material like carbohydrates during development of galls in Zelkova serrata.
Hornblende gabbro-lamprophyre-diorite Complex in Guwoonri, Hwacheon distributes in a zonal pattern, where the diorite distributed along the margin of the Complex encompasses the hornblende gabbro body in the central part of the Complex, and lamprophyre intruded in vein along the boundary between diorite and hornblende gabbro. The hornblende gabbro in the central part of the Complex also shows a zonal distribution pattern, where hornblende gabbro containing subspherical amphibole phenocrysts as a major mafic mineral(Sag) surrounds hornblende gabbro with prismatic amphiboles as a principal mafic mineral(Pag). The zonal distributions observed in hornblende gabbro-lamprophyre-diorite Complex in Guwoonri resulted from two different geological processes. The zonal distribution among diorite, lamprophyre, and hornblende gabbro was due to intrusions of three distinct magmas derived from different degree of partial melting of a common source rock, whereas the zonal distribution shown within the hornblende gabbro body occupying the central part of the Complex resulted from an inward fractional crystallization of a single magma. Geochemical characteristics and mineral mode of hornblende gabbro, lamprophyre, and diorite indicate that these rocks formed from hydrous mafic to intermediate magma derived from partial melting of enriched mantle, which has been caused by infiltration of volatiles including water into mantle in plate margin.

Relational databases used by structuralizing data are the most widely used in data management at present. However, in relational databases, service becomes slower as the amount of data increases because of constraints in the reading and writing operations to save or query data. Furthermore, when a new task is added, the database grows and, consequently, requires additional infrastructure, such as parallel configuration of hardware, CPU, memory, and network, to support smooth operation. In this paper, in order to improve the web information services that are slowing down due to increase of data in the relational databases, we implemented a model to extract a large amount of data quickly and safely for users by processing Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) files after sending data to HDFSs and unifying and reconstructing the data. We implemented our model in a Web-based civil affairs system that stores image files, which is irregular data processing. Our proposed system's data processing was found to be 0.4 sec faster than that of a relational database system. Thus, we found that it is possible to support Web information services with a Hadoop-based big data processing technique in order to process a large amount of data, as in conventional relational databases. Furthermore, since Hadoop is open source, our model has the advantage of reducing software costs. The proposed system is expected to be used as a model for Web services that provide fast information processing for organizations that require efficient processing of big data because of the increase in the size of conventional relational databases.
