방사왜곡을 고려한 보정 영상 위최근접 화소 이용 보간법 (An Interpolation Method for a Barrel Distortion Using Nearest Pixels on a Corrected Image)

  • 본 논문에서는 어안렌즈의 방사왜곡을 고려한 개선된 양선형 보간법을 제안한다. 어안렌즈에서 발생하는 방사왜곡의 보정은 크게 좌표 변환과 보간 작업의 두 단계를 통해 진행된다. 본 논문은 방사왜곡을 고려한 보간법에 대한 연구이다. 기존 기술과 달리 왜곡 영상이 아닌 보정 영상에서 근접한 좌표 4개를 사용한 보간법을 제안한다. 실험결과는 주관적인 화질과 객관적인 화질(PSNR)이 향상되는 것을 보여준다.

  • With the advent of mobile phone, Digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) service is to be realized for multimedia data communication. For an acoustic part, a smaller and lighter microspeaker is also soon to be realized as an MP3 song player and a speakerphone. Sound quality in the microspeaker is becoming more important in mobile phones. It is evaluated by total harmonic distortion (THD). THD is the proportion of higher order frequencies output response to sinusoidal input signal. It is affected by uneven magnetic distribution and nonlinear response of diaphragm. In this paper, harmonic distortion is analyzed by considering magnetic and mechanical coupling effects. Simulated results of THD are compared with experimental data. Results show that THD in lower frequency range is higher due to high displace on voice coil and high mechanical response of high order frequency.

  • A distortion suppression technology for employing multiple inputs in 3n+1 type current mode Max circuit is proposed using the adjustment of transconductance. If the number of inputs in current mode Max circuit increases, the high frequency distortion in the output signal grows. In this paper, it has been disclosed that the distortion in the multiple input Max circuit is proportional to sum of parasitic capacitance in input terminals, to the derivative of the output signal and also to the inverse of transconductance of the common diode-connected transistor. The proposed idea is by employing as larger transconductance of the common diode-connected transistor as possible. The effectiveness of the proposed idea has been proved through the HSPICE simulation.

2차원 BJT의 전기적 특성 및 왜곡 해석 시뮬레이션 (Simulation for the analysis of distortion and electrical characteristics of a two-dimensional BJT)

  • A program was developed to analyze the electrical characteristics and harmonic distrotion in a two-dimensional silicon BJT. The finite difference equations of the small signal and its second and thired harmonics for basic semiconductor equations are formulated treating the nonlinearity and time dependence with Volterra series and Taylor series. The soluations for three sets of simultaneous equations were obtained sequantially by a decoupled iteration method and each set was solved by a modified Stone's algorithm. Distortion magins and ac parameters such as input impedance and current gains are calculated with frequency and load resistance as parameters. The distortion margin vs. load resistancecurves show cancellation minima when the pahse of output voltage shifts. It is shown that the distortionof small signal characteristics can be reduced by reducing the base width, increasing the emitter stripe length and reducing the collector epitaxial layer doping concentration in the silicon BJT structure. The simulation program called TRADAP can be used for the design and optimization of transistors and circuits as well as for the calculation of small signal and distortion solutions.

  • This paper a new approach to the design of machine vision technique with a camera modeling that accounts for major sources of geometric distortion, namely, radial, decentering, and thin prism distortion. Radial distortion causes an inward or outward displacement of a given image point from its ideal location. Actual optical systems are subject to various degrees of decentering , that is , the optical centers of lens design and manufacturing as well as camera assembly. It is our propose to develop the vision system for the pattern recognition and the automatic test of parts and to apply the line of manufacturing. The performance of proposed vision system is illustrated by simulation and experiment.

  • The side burrs and shape distortion resulting from the micromachining of an array of V-shape microgrooves in optical components were experimentally invesigated and a simplified model for their formation is proposed. Burr/shpae distortion should be kept to a minimum level since they degrade the characteristics and performance of these parts. The focus of this study is on the influence of depth of cut and workpiece material. The workpiece materials use were brass, bronze and copper. From the obsevation of the chip shape and burr/shape distortion, the proposed model, that the compressive force at the cutting edge causess the ductile uncut chip material to flow plastically outward toward the free surface to result in a burr, was verified.

  • Distortion is a potential problem with all welded fabrication and should be caused dimensional changes and mismatch of joints during welding fabrication. Correction unacceptable weld distortion is extremely costly and in some case impossible. The aim of the present work is to verify the variation of the compressive force, tensile force and distortion during plastic deformation under Tungsten-inert-gas(TIG) welding, on type 304 stainless steel. Experimental results show that possibili-ty if measuring deformation during welding and good correlation was found between analytical and experimental result ad finite element methods have been used to model temperature analysis.

  • In This Paper, Linearization problem is discussed to reduce distortion of a nonlinear system based on Schetzen's pth-orfer inverse theorem. We propose a nonlinear adaptive prefiltering algorithm which can reduse nonlinear distortion up to pth order by tandemly connecting a pth-order Volterra filter before the nonlinear system under the consideration and by adjusting the filter coefficients adaptively. The feasibility of applying the proposed algorithm to a nonlinear system is conformed via computer simulation by observing significant reduction of total nonlinear distortion for the case of random input and sinusoidal input excitation.

  • For the investigation of the hardness profiles and distortion characteristics of SCM415 steel, test pieces of SCM415 steel were gas and vacuum carburizing treated. The hardness profiles and distortion characteristics of vacuum and gas carburized SCM415 steel show different results. Vacuum carburizing can offer more improved hardness profiles than alternate methods of carburizing. Compared to alternate methods of carburizing, vacuum carburizing can offer improved mechanical properties and reduced cycle times of the process.

  • The electronystagmography(ENG) means to measure and record CRP(Corneal-Retinal Potential) whenever the eyeball is moved by using a skin electrode stuck to the hi-temporal and the difference of CRP. Both the horizontal and vertical movement are known according to the position of the stuck skin electrode. In this paper, the variable time-constances to record the eyeball signal of the conventional EOG(Electro-Oculograph) Amplifier is chosen. The shorter the time-constance is, the worse the distortion of a signal is. But the unbalanced impedance of the electrode stuck on the hi-temporal is reduced. Also, the longer the time-constance is, the less the distortion of it signal is. But it is sensitive to the change of base line according to the unbalanced impedance. In order to solve these problems, an DC-Amplifier, the distortion of the eyeball signal is globally used. By solving unbalanced impedance problem of EOG amplifier, the distortion ratio of EOG amplifier is improved.
