Fourteen different taxa of dictyostelid cellular slime molds were recovered from the alpine and subalpine zone in Mt. Paektu. In subalpine zone, six species were recovered : Dictyostelium minutum, D. brefeldianum, D. crassicaule, D. capitatum, Polysphondylium solitarium and P. pallidum. One of these species which were isolated from the soils of Larix olgensis community exhibited several distinctive features which differed from the published species. This species was designated as a new species, Polysphondylium solitarium Kang et Chang, sp. nov. When cultivated at 22~24$^{\circ}C$ on low-nutrient agar media with Escherichia coli, Polysphondylium solitarium is distinguishable from other species by the following combination of features: (ⅰ) the sorocarps with vinaceous pigmentation; (ⅱ) pseudoplasmodia radial. usually centralized and rarely subdivided; (ⅲ) the various number of whorls; (ⅳ) the spores with unconsolidated and nonconspicuous polar granules. Also, we confirmed this new species by analyzing ribosomal DNA (ITS1, ITS2 and 5.8s DNA) sequences of P. solitarium and P. violaceum.

The purpose of this thesisis to show that, on the basis of a reconstructed theoretical framework of postmodernisuL the seemingly chaotic phenomena in recent fashion specta ole- i.e. extensive eclecticism and deconstruction of styles - can be systematically explained and that it is by no means a transient anomaly. The main task of this thesis is to distill out from the apparently chaotic scene in the Catwalk such distinctive features as 1. the bona fide postmodern subculture fashion as a non-mainstream,2. the subculture elements introduced in the mainstream, pastiche a la Jameson. Our theoretical framework enables us to establish these features as the necessary outcomes and tendencies of postmodern logic.

Changes in household composition and the residential environment have had a considerable impact on the features of postal delivery regions in recent years, resulting in a large increase in the overall workload of domestic postal delivery services. In this paper, we provide complex analysis results for postal delivery areas using various unsupervised learning approaches. First, we extract highly influential features using several feature-engineering methods. Then, using quantitative and qualitative cluster analyses, we find the distinctive traits and semantics of postal delivery zones. Unsupervised learning approaches are useful for successfully grouping postal service zones, according to our findings. Furthermore, by comparing a postal delivery region to other areas in the same group, workload balancing was achieved.

The widespread discussion of AI-generated content, fueled by the emergence of consumer applications like ChatGPT and Midjourney, has attracted significant attention. Among various AI applications, AI painting has gained popularity due to its mature technology, user-friendly nature, and excellent output quality, resulting in a rapid growth in user numbers. Midjourney and Stable Diffusion are two of the most widely used AI painting tools by users. In this study, the author adopts a perspective that represents the general public and utilizes case studies and comparative analysis to summarize the distinctive features and differences between Midjourney and Stable Diffusion in the context of AI character illustration. The aim is to provide informative material forthose interested in AI painting and lay a solid foundation for further in-depth research on AI-generated content. The research findings indicate that both software can generate excellent character images but with distinct features.

이차원 영상에서 정의된 에지와 유사하게 삼차원 메쉬에서도 주요 부위의 경계를 표현하는 기하학 특징을 정의할 수 있다. 삼차원 메쉬에서 기하학 특징은 메쉬 단순화, 메쉬 변형과 메쉬 편집 등과 같은 여러 응용에 기본적인 항목으로 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 삼차원 메쉬의 기학적 특징을 효과적으로 찾기 위하여 이차원 영상의 라이브와이어와 라이브레인 기법을 삼차원 메쉬로 확장한 기하학 라이브와이어와 기하학하 라이브레인 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법에서는 메쉬의 기하학 특징을 나타내기 위하여 근사곡률을 사용하였고 메쉬 그 자체를 정의된 비용함수를 에지의 가중치고 가지는 가중치 방향그래프로 나타내었다. 그리고 만들어진 가중치 방향그래프에 대해 잘 알려진 최단경로 탐색 알고리즘을 이용하여 사용자에 의해 지정된 점들 사이에 존재하는 삼차원 메쉬에서의 기하학 특징을 추출하였다. 본 논문에서는 사람 얼굴, 소, 신발과 치어 메쉬 모델에 나타나는 기하학 특징을 추출하기 위하여 제안한 기법을 적용하여 얻어진 결과를 가시화한다.

Nae-Kyung says the puberty is corresponded to the age of 16～24(male) and 14～21 (female). And that time they are promoted the growth. However, Kidney qi doesn't make average situation during that time. So, the function of five viscera and six entrails fails to be perfect and symptoms appear. I came to the conclusion through the survey of about 200 high school students(male and female) and the theory of oriental medicine the distinctive features (like migraine, amnesia, depression, dysphoria, inappetence, irregular menstruation) came out that time. I defined this distinctive symptoms in boys and girls at puberty ‘synthetic symptoms of puberty’. For the medical cure and prevention I prescribed ‘Sachun-Nyung’ and that has medical benefits for ‘Replenishing qi and relieving the spleen, Soothing the liver and promoting blood circulation’

An architecture is a result from representation of design knowledge by architect's creative thinking, and operated only in his internal organization system. Design knowledge based upon the experience that they have achieved in the past as well as the informations they have accumulated over the time. In this point of view, the Schema that formed by problems settlement and process repetitions for the best conclusion, not only play an important part in the designer's thinking system about a specific problem but also appeared by distinctive features. This research looks to achieve a new design method by finding out how architects express traditionality in the contemporary house through schema. This research analyze contemporary house built in seoul of 1990's. The result are as followings. First, Schema is a 'frame' that already exist in the architect's thinking, will make a good guide about express the traditionality. Second, We found out several distinctive characters in the form and the space. The form is divided in five types. It is an condensed form of roof image, the metamorphosis of form grammar, the change of part details, the representation of design principle and the directly expression. Lastly, In the space, it is the borrow of the connection method of inside and external space, the three parts composition of the space, the adaptation of 'Madang' and the Independent composition of the space due to 'Chae'

Yang Shangseon(楊上善)'s "Hwangjenaegyeongtaeso(黃帝內經太素)" was the first commentary book of "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)", its importance often mentioned in level with Wang Bing (王冰)'s "Somun(素問)" "Yeongchu(靈樞)". The distinctive feature of Yang Sangseon(楊上善)'s commentary is that it is easy to comprehend in accordance with an organized classification, and that the explanations are simple and clear. Despite strict application of the Eumyang(陰陽, Yinyang) theory and Five phases[五行] theory throughout the text, should there be sentences which fall out of consistency with the basic theories, he added his own substantial commentary. His medical theory gives attention to the Meridian system[經絡], lays emphasis on developing the soul[神], and has a unique opinion about the Opening closing and pivot[開闔樞] theory along with the Myeongmun(命門). To explain the methods for preserving health[養生], he adopted the Nojang philosophy(老莊思想); to enrich the vitality he adopted the Buddhist philosophy(佛敎思想); and to analyze physiologic and pathogenic factors, he adopted the Confucian philosophy(儒家思想).

It is expected that advanced high strength steels (AHSS) would be widely used for vehicles with better performance in automotive industries. One of distinctive features of AHSS is the high value of carbon equivalent (Ceq), which results in the different properties in formability, weldability and paintability from those of common grade of steel sheets. There is an exponential relation between Ceq and electric resistance, which seems also to have correlation with the thickness of electric deposition (ED) coat. Higher value of Ceq of AHSS lower the thickness of ED coat of AHSS. Some elements of AHSS such as silicon, if it is concentrated on the surface, affect negatively the formation of phosphates. In this case, silicon itself doesn't affect the phosphate, but its oxide does. This phenomenon is shown dramatically in the welding area. Arc welding or laser welding melts the base material. In the process of cooling of AHSS melt, the oxides of Si and Mn are easily concentrated on the surface of boundary between welded and non‐welded area because Si and Mn could be oxidized easier than Fe. More oxide on surface results in poor phosphating and ED coating. This is more distinctive in AHSS than in mild steel. General results on paintability of AHSS would be reported, being compared to those of mild steel.

Metastatic tumors occur more frequently in the liver than in any other organ. Guided percutaneous fine-needle aspiration (FNA) of the liver is often recommended for confirmative diagnosis of the metastatic lesion, because of its simplicity, high yield, and reasonable safety. The authors studied retrospectively cytologic findings of 110 cases of metastatic tumors to the liver. The frequent primary sites were the stomach (23 cases), pancreas(19 cases), gallbladder(12 cases), and periampullary lesions(6 cases). Most of the metastases were carcinoma (106 cases). There were only 4 cases of sarcoma. The characteristic cytologic findings of FNA of meatastatic tumors were dirty background, abrupt change between hepatocytes and malignant cells, and desmoplasia. Some tumors displayed rather distinctive cytologic appearance that suggests primary sites. For example, the colonic adenocarcinoma showed tall columnar cells with a palisading arrangement, adenocarcinoma of gallbaldder showed focal squamous differentiation in some cases, and metastatic renal cell carcinoma and neuroblastoma showed also distinctive cytologic findings. Because the cytologic features of metastatic tumor are very similar to those of primary tumor, correct cytologic typing may be helpful in pursuit of an occult primary site of metastatic liver lesions, reducing extensive diagnostic investigation in poor prognostic patients.
