  • For the excited states of a hydrogen molecule up to n = 3 active spaces, potential energy curves (PECs) are obtained for values of the internuclear distance R in the interval [0.5, 10] a.u. within an accuracy of $1{\times}10^{-4}$ a.u. (Hartree) compared to the accurate PECs of Kolos, Wolniewicz, and their collaborators by using the multi-reference configuration-interaction method and Kaufmann's Rydberg basis functions. It is found that the accuracy of the PECs can be further improved beyond $1{\times}10^{-4}$ a.u. for that R interval by including the Rydberg basis functions with angular momentum quantum numbers higher than l = 4.

  • In GMAW(Gas Metal Arc Welding) process, bead geometry (penetration, bead width and height) is a criterion to estimate welding quality. Bead geometry is affected by welding current, arc voltage and travel speed, shielding gas, CTWB (contact- tip to workpiece distance) and so on. In this paper, welding process variables were selected as welding current, arc voltage and travel speed. And bead geometry was reasoned from the chosen welding process variables using negro-fuzzy algorithm. Neural networks was applied to design FL(fuzzy logic). The parameters of input membership functions and those of consequence functions in FL were tuned through the method of learning by backpropagation algorithm. Bead geometry could be reasoned from welding current, arc voltage, travel speed on FL using the results learned by neural networks.

  • This study attempts to provide the foundation for a possibility that industrial su n.0, pporting organization can be strong information centers if they fortify their information dissemination activities, along with the basic functions. The following conclusions are resulted from the analysis in the operations of libraries, service methods and their publications of the information activities provided by the industrial su n.0, pporting organizations. First, the organizations have not be acquiring enough information materials. The services for bibliographic information should guarantee the uses of original documents. Second, the number of organizations providing on-line information services has been increasing, but the provided materials are nothing but their own materials produced during performing the basic functions. Third, the speedy information provision and efficient information dissemination for the end-users in the distance may be possible through on-line service, but it requires information analysis function to select the necessary information in our industrial environment. Forth, th information activities provided by the libraries of industrial su n.0, pporting organizations should be fortified.

  • When any faults occurred in electrical railway system, operators need to analysis it quickly and accurately. Existing COMTRADE based analysis tools are not enough to analysis faults occurred in electrical railway system. In this paper, it presents some functions to fault analysis for electrical railway system based on fault data formatted COMTRADE. These functions are implemented in PSCAD/EMTDC and it can be shown that analyzed results against actual electrical fault cases which were occurred in the electrical railway power system.

  • This paper considers a facility moving along a route of straight line to serve several facilities in xy plane. A route is obtained which minimizes the objective function expressed in terms of average rectilinear distance between the service facility and facilities to he served. The forms of the objective functions can be classified into several cases according to the initial and end points of the routes. In some cases, as in the problem of optimal location of new facility, the cordinates of the optimal routes are median of the cordinates of facilities to be served. In others, the optimal routes are obtained after examining the values of objective functions on the boundaries of slopes and intercepts. An overall optimal route is obtained by comparing these routes. The entire procedure has been programmed in BASIC language, and several case examples are given.

  • In this paper, we have studied for development of unmanned remote supervisory system using mobile communication network, not wire network, not to be affected by space or distance. The unmanned remote supervisory system consists of data processing unit main part and measuring systems (modules part)-temperature measuring module, humidity measuring module and human body sensing module. The data processing unit to collect and process informations of each measuring module has the functions of data communication between a mobile cellular telephone and measuring systems. Each measuring module has supervisory and warning functions for a target of supervision. And then we have designed each system and evaluated accuracy and reliability of the combined total system.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new design of fuzzy neural networks using input-output data information of target system. The proposed fuzzy neural networks is constructed by input-output data information and used the center of data distance by HCM clustering to obtain the characteristics of data. A membership function is defined by HCM clustering and is applied input-output dat included each rule to conclusion polynomial functions. We use triangular membership functions and simplified fuzzy inference, linear fuzzy inference, and modified quadratic fuzzy inference in conclusion. In the networks learning, back propagation algorithm of network is used to update the parameters of the network. The proposed model is evaluated with benchmark data.

  • An extensive data base of HRTFs (Head Related Transfer Functions) has been established in order to work with high qualifies of 3D acoustic appliances. The basic specifications of the measurement presented are that a spatial resolution of 10$^{\circ}$ in elevation angles (ranging from -40$^{\circ}$ to 90$^{\circ}$) and uniform spatial resolution of 5$^{\circ}$ in azimuth angles. The distance from the measurement sources to the centre of the dummy head is 2m and the sampling frequency is 48 kHz and the quantisation depth is 24-bits. The data is presented for three arrangements of pinna models (large, small and no pinna) which were combined with the open and blocked ear canal cases to give a total of 6 sets of measurements. The data base may contribute to show promise of providing useful applications of 3D sound.

  • In this work, the model of magneto-thermoelasticity based on memory-dependent derivative (MDD) is applied to a one-dimensional thermal shock problem for a functionally graded half-space whose surface is assumed to be traction free and subjected to an arbitrary thermal loading. The $Lam{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ modulii are taken as functions of the vertical distance from the surface of thermoelastic perfect conducting medium in the presence of a uniform magnetic field. Laplace transform and the perturbation techniques are used to derive the solution in the Laplace transform domain. A numerical method is employed for the inversion of the Laplace transforms. The effects of the time-delay on the temperature, stress and displacement distribution for different linear forms of Kernel functions are discussed. Numerical results are represented graphically and discussed.

  • Currently, the application of virtual reality technology is becoming more and more popular in all aspects of life. From virtual entertainment to industrial simulation, the new operation and working methods brought by virtual reality visualization technology have greater appeal and advantages. With the renewal and iteration of related equipment, more and more functions make its limitations continue to decrease, but its applicability continues to improve. Take the optically transparent head-mounted device as an example. It integrates more computer functions, presents and interacts in a virtual way, further integrates with daily behaviors, and shortens the distance between users and digital information.
