태양전지 최대전력점 추종제어를 위한 퍼지 제어기의 FPGA구현 (FPGA Implementation of Fuzzy Logic Controller for Maximum Power Point Tracking In Solar Power System)

  • 태양전지는 일사량에 따라 그 출력특성이 변화하기 때문에 태양전지로 부터 최대출력을 얻기 위해서는 컨버터에 의한 최대 전력점 추종 제어가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 태양광 발전시스템의 최대전력추종을 위해 퍼지 이론을 도입한 퍼지제어기를 설계하였다. 그리고 퍼지제어기의 디지털 설계를 위해 태양광 발전시스템의 각 부분을 구성하고, 마이크로프로세서와 FPGA의 두가지 방식으로 제어기를 구현하였다. 또한 구현된 두 가지 방식의 퍼지제어기에 대해 실험을 통하여 비교분석 하였다.

서보 모터의 디지털 제어기 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of a Digital Controller for DC Servo Motor)

  • This paper deals with the design of the digital controller for DC servo motor, and it is implemented for the cartesian coordinate 4 axes manipulator. A design method of the controller is adopted an algorithm using the digital position locked loop(DPLL) method and the linear PID control for the smooth motion. To simplify the hardware configuration of control system, 8279 keyboard/display controller, Z-80 CTC counter and 8255 PPI are used. Therefore the design method to control each motor as real-time is presented. To show effectiveness of the design, the PWM circuit and frequency/voltage converter are applied for the velocity control of robot system. When the proposed controller is applied to the 4-axes manipulator, it reveals that the error probabilities of X, Y and Z axis as 0.033%, 0.023% and 0.028% respectively.

  • This paper describes an implementation of a wide-range dimming controller of a LED backlight for Avionics applications such as the control data unit(CDU) and multi-function display(MFD). A feedback controller using a light sensor is proposed to control the brightness in the low dimming range. The proposed controller provides an improved control performance in the wide dimming range of 1:3000 even under the temperature variations. The experimental results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control system.

  • This paper considers the design of robust stabilizing controller of a linear time-invariant digital system subject to variations of parameter vector. For a given controller the radius of the largest stability hypersphere in this parameter space is calculated. This radius is a measure of the stability Margin of the closed-loop system. Based on this calculation a design procedure is proposed to robustify a given stabilizing controller. This algorithm iteratively enlarges the stability hypersphere in parameter space and can be used to design a controller to stabilize a plant subject to given ranges of parameter perturbations. These results are illustrated by an example.

고속 펄스 모터 콘트롤러 칩의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of High Speed Pulse Motor Controller Chip)

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented a precise pulse motor controller chip that generates the pulse needed to control step motor, DC servo and AC servo motors. This chip generates maximum pulse output rate of 5Mpps and has the quasi-S driving capability and speed and moving distance override capability during driving. We designed this chip with VHDL and executed a logic simulation and synthesis using Synopsys tool. The pre-layout simulation and post-layout simulation was executed by Compass tool. This chip was produced with 100 pins, PQFP package by 0.8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ gate array process and implemented by completely digital logic. We developed the test hardware board of performance and the CAMC(Computer Aided Motor Controller) Agent softwate to test the performance of the pulse motor controller chip produced. CAMC Agent enables user to set parameters needed to control motor with easy GUI(Graphic User Interface) environment and to display the output response of motor graphically.

  • A haptic hand controller operated by the user's hand can receive information on position and orientation of the hand and display force and moment generated in the virtual environment to the hand. This paper presents a design method for KU-HHC, 6 DOF Korea University-haptic hand controller, which allows separation of workspace from linkage mechanism in consideration of the efficient user operation. First, the 3 DOF mechanism in which all the actuators are mounted on the fixed base is developed by combining a 5-bar linkage and gimbal mechanism. Then, the 6 DOF HHC is designed by connecting the two 3 DOF devices through a handle. This paper presents the forward and inverse kinematics for this device and Jacobian analysis. Improvement of the kinematic characteristics using performance index is also discussed. The hand controller KU-HHC based on this design concept and kinematic analysis was manufactured and shows excellent performance.

  • 기존의 Passenger Boarding Bridge Controller는 PLC Type Controller 등으로 복합적으로 구성하는데 본 연구에서는 16bit Micro Processor를 이용한 전용 콘트롤러를 적용해 각종 고급기능을 부여하고, 안전하고 유연한 운전이 가능하도록 하였고 기존의 수동 운전에 필요한 각종 조작 스위치를 부가하였으며, TFT LCD Color Display 및 Touch Screen을 장착하여 자동 운전을 위한 각종 조작이 용이하도록 하여 유지관리에 필요한 각종정보를 화면상에 표시하여 조작자로 하여금 PBBC(Passenger Boarding Bridge Controller)의 각종상태를 쉽고 빠르게 파악 할 수 있도록 시뮬레이터를 설계 및 제작을 하였다. 그 결과 기존의 방식보다 성능면은 비슷하였고 기능면에서는 다양하게 기능을 검정을 할 수가 있었다. 향후 연구 지속시 다양한 개선이 되라 보아진다.

정압제어를 위한 동적모델 해석 및 최적 퍼지 PID 제어기설계 (Analysis of Dynamic Model and Design of Optimized Fuzzy PID Controller for Constant Pressure Control)

  • In this study, we introduce a dynamic process model as well as the design methodology of optimized fuzzy controller for its efficient application to vacuum production system to produce a semiconductor, solar module and display and so on. In a vacuum control field, PID control method is widely used from the viewpoint of simple structure and preferred performance. But, PID control method is very sensitive to the change of environment of control system as well as the change of control parameters. Therefore, it's difficult to get a preferred performance results from target system which has a complicated structure and lots of nonlinear factors. To solve such problem, we propose the design methodology of an optimized fuzzy PID controller through a following series of steps. First a dynamic characteristic of the target system is analyzed through a series of experiments. Second the process model is built up and its characteristic is compared with real process. Third, the optimized fuzzy PID controller is designed using genetic algorithms. Finally, the fuzzy controller is applied to target system and then its performance is compared with that of other conventional controllers(PID, PI, and Fuzzy PI controller). The performance of the proposed fuzzy controller is evaluated in terms of auto-tuned control parameters and output responses considered by ITAE index, overshoot, rise time and steady state time.

  • ATMega8535 Controller is the ideal solution for use as a standard controller in many applications. The small compact size combined with easy program updates and modifications, make it ideal for use in machinery and control systems, such as alarms, card readers, real-time monitoring applications and much more. This board is ideal as the brains of your robot or at the center of your home-monitoring system. Today, most drivers must use a parking place day by day. Therefore we make time shorten. Using above-mentioned ATmega8535, a sensor of infrared rays, led and lcd, we will make a parking system which is able to display parking situation and lead a car at the best position of Parking easily and quickly. Trying this project, we will be more closer to practical application of electronic engineering bit by bit.

  • In this study, the controller using TMS320LF2407 low voltage DSP for motor control is designed and realized. It has 40 MIPS calculating ability and its driving voltage is 3.3 V for low power. The peripheral elements, however usually use 5 V and they need voltage transfer interface. In this study, voltage transformation and reducing noise are studied and space vector PWM is adopted as a motor control scheme. According to these methods, the efforts for software programming and calculation processes are reduced. In addition, the hardware is also simplified by substituting the current control part with software programming. Through this study, the DSP based servo controller increases its ability for high performance multi-function on semiconductor transportation equipments..
