Application of an Adaptive Step-size Algorithm to the Power System Model of Dispatcher Training Simulator (적응 간격 크기 셈법을 이용한 급전운영자 훈련 프로그램 용 전력계통 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • Since it is almost impossible to train the dispatchers with real power system, the dispatcher training simulator(DTS) is used for the training. Among various components of the DTS, the power system model(PSM) emulates the dynamic behavior of the power system to calculate the frequency and voltage. The frequency is calculated from various parameters such as mechanical power of power plants, load, inertia, and the damping of the power system. In the PSM, the power plants are modeled as differential equations, so the mechanical power of the power plants are calculated by the numerical methods. Conventionally, the fixed step-size algorithm has been used in the PSM, however it has some drawbacks. This paper develops the prototype PSM using the Matlab, and analyzes the problems of the fixed step-size algorithm by comparing the results with those of PSCAD simulation. In order to overcome the limitations, this paper proposes a modified frequency calculation method using the adaptive step-size algorithm. From the simulation using the proposed method, it is verified that the accuracy of frequency calculation increases substantially while the simulation time is not greatly increased.

  • IDGPS(Inverted Differential Global Positioning System) is one of technique improving the accuracy of GPS positioning and is mostly used for tracking an automatic vehicle. In the IDGPS, the user send it’s GPS position and related satellite information to dispatcher, and the corrections are made at the dispatcher to get corrected user position. IDGPS suffered correction degradation as the baseline become large. This problem is resolved using NIDGPS(Network IDGPS). As the experimental results are demonstrated, the improvement of position accuracy using IDGPS and NIDGPS is verified.

  • 반도체 및 LCD 제조 라인의 물류 제어 시스템을 위하여 시스템의 현재 및 미래의 Look ahead 정보를 사용하고 반송장비의 운반 상황을 동시에 고려하면서 디스패칭(dispatching) 과정을 수행하는 RTLAD(Real Time Look Ahead Dispatcher)를 위한 핵심 기법들을 개발한다. 특히, 베이(bay) 내에서 로트의 가공이 완료 되었을 때 다음 스텝 공정을 위하여 목적지 장비를 실시간으로 결정하는 절차를 제시하며, 동시에 목적지 장비까지의 반송장비를 선택하는 절차를 제시한다. 목적지 장비 결정 과정에서 반송장비의 상황을 함께 고려한다.

An evaluation study of 1339 emergency medical dispatch based on ICD-9 (국제질병분류기준을 이용한 응급의료 전화상담 내용 분석)

  • Purpose : To evaluate the emergency medical protocols and assessments through the case reports. Method : We studied retrospectively investigates the emergency calls through the 1339 emergency patients information center in 1997. Results : The emergency calls show an order : abdominal pain(13.5%), unconsciousness(12.0%), traffic accidents(7.4%), bleeding(6.6%), respiration difficulty(5.9%) by emergency medical protocols, and injury and poisoning(22.3%), symptom (51.6%), others (26.1%). Conclusion : The results suggest that a specific training program for emergency medical dispatchers should be established, and emergency medical dispatcher managers must review emergency medical dispatching cases on the basis of emergency medical protocols every year. Emergency medical services, furthermore, will continue to raise the standard for emergency medical dispatching.

  • In large station with high density traffic, trains is hardly controlled by CTC but by station dispatcher because CTC has difficulties in monitoring all states of affairs happening within the station such as departs and arrivals of many trains from different lines and shunting trains between yards and platforms, etc. Therefore station dispatcher has to make quick decision about how to schedule all trains including trains to arrive and depart before long. And such decisions become harder when an unexpected delay occurs. This study suggests a mathematical model and algorithm about how to detect in advance and resolve efficiently the conflicts occurring within a station and it will be shown how to reduce delay using our approach by means of analysing the schedule of ChyungRyangRi station.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력IT 국책과제로 선정된 한국형 에너지 관리시스템(Korean Energy Management System, K-EMS)의 네트워크 해석 프로그램 중 하나인 급전원 조류계산(Dispatcher Power Flow, DPF) 프로그램의 구축 및 통합에 대해서 다룬다. 여기에서는 조류계산의 기본기능 보다는 실시간 운영을 위한 DB, 프로세스, 화면 간 연계방법을 설명하고, 기존 Off-line 검토용 조류계산 프로그램과의 차이점 및 급전원 조류계산 환경에 대해 서술한다. 본 논문에 소개된 급전원 조류계산 프로그램은 K-EMS의 중간 결과물인 Baseline 단계의 성과이며, 국내 실계통 데이터를 취득하여 성공적으로 실증시험을 마친 결과임을 밝혀둔다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a vehicle routing supporting system with various restrictions using a digital map. The position data and the distance data are obtained from the digital map. The system is composed of input module, execution module, output module. In the input module, we can select options, which correspond to various restrictions and criteria for the vehicle routing problem to be solved. The execution module solves the selected problem in a relatively short time and suggest a good heuristic solution to the dispatcher, and also allows the dispatcher to easily modify the solution. The vehicle routes are displayed on the digital map. The application and the effectiveness of the system were shown through two case studies.

  • Recently, research using machine learning have shown remarkable results in various domains, leading to the fact that leaning-based dispatchers have intrigued interest in both academia and industry. To improve the performance of the dispatcher, each dispatch decision needs to be evaluated in detail. However, existing studies on visualization techniques for manufacturing lines have mainly focused on illustrating the performance indicators or abnormal patterns. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system that displays a variety of information about the manufacturing line along with alternatives at the time of each dispatching decision being made. Furthermore, the proposed system effectively represents the cause of the idle time of resources and the change of the performance index over time.

  • With HTTP/1.0, a single request means a single HTTP connection so that the granular unit of dispatching is the same as real load. But with persistent HTTP connection, multiple requests may arrive on a single TCP connection. Therefore, a scheme that dispatches load at the granularity of individual requests constrains the feasible dispatching policies In this paper we propose a new connection dispatching polity for supporting HTTP/1.1 persistent connections in cluster-based Web servers. When the request of a base html file arrives, the dispatcher gets the subsequent load arriving on that connection using the embedded objects information. After the dispatcher stores the load information in Load Table, the dispatcher employs the connection aging strategy on live persistent connections on the passage of time. The results of simulation show about $1.7\%\~16.8\%$ improved average response time compared to existing WLC algorithm.
