불확실 이산 시스템을 위한 외란관측기를 갖는 새로운 둔감한 이산 정적 출력 궤환 가변구조제어기 (A New Robust Discrete Static Output Feedback Variable Structure Controller with Disturbance Observer for Uncertain Discrete Systems)

  • In this paper, a new discrete static output feedback variable structure controller based on a new dynamic-type sliding surface and output feedback discrete version of the disturbance observer is suggested for the control of uncertain linear systems. The reaching phase is completely removed by introducing a new proposed dynamic-type sliding surface. The output feedback discrete version of disturbance observer is derived for effective compensation of uncertainties and disturbance. A corresponding control with disturbance compensation is selected to guarantee the quasi sliding mode on the predetermined dynamic-type sliding surface for guaranteeing the designed output in the dynamic-type sliding surface from any initial condition for all the parameter variations and disturbances. Using Lyapunov function, the closed loop stability and the existence condition of the quasi sliding mode is proved. Finally, an illustrative example is presented to show the effectiveness of the algorithm.

  • In this paper, a new discrete integral variable structure controller based on the a new sliding surface and discrete version of the disturbance observer is suggested for the control of uncertain linear systems. The reaching phase is completely removed by introducing a new proposed integral sliding surface. The discrete version of disturbance observer is derived for effective compensation of uncertainties and disturbance.   • This paper considers the problem of robust $H_{\infty}$ control for uncertain 2-D discrete systems in the General Model via output feedback controllers. The parameter uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded. The purpose is the design of output feedback controllers such that the closed-loop system is stable while satisfying a prescribed $H_{\infty}$ performance level. In terms of a linear matrix inequality, a sufficient condition for the solvability of the problem is obtained, and an explicit expression of desired output feedback controllers is given. An example is provided to demonstrate the application of the proposed method.

  • This paper describes the application of discrete event systems theory to the design of an automated laboratory system. Current automated laboratory systems typically consist of several interacting processes that must be carefully sequenced to avoid any possible process conflicts. Discrete Event Systems (DES) theory and Supervisory Control Theory (SCT) can be applied together as effective methods of modeling the system dynamics and designing supervisory controllers to precisely sequence the many processes that such systems might involve. Classical approaches to supervisory controller design tend to result in complex controller structures that are difficult to implement, maintain, and upgrade. In this paper, a new approach to designing supervisory controllers for automated laboratory systems is introduced. This new approach uses a modular controller structure that is easier to implement, maintain, and upgrade, and deals with "state explosion" issues in a novel and efficient way.

  • In this paper we proposed to develop the reliability growth planning for the One-shot system using the PM2-Discrete model. The PM2-Discrete is the methodology specifically developed for discrete systems and is the first quantitative method available for formulating detailed plans in the discrete usage domain. First, the parameters RG, RI, T, MS and d of the PM2-Discrete model are set. Second, the case analysis was performed on One-shot system A. Third, the input parameter values were applied to drive the R(t) equation. Finally, using RGA 11 Software, the reliability Growth Planning Curve of One-shot system A was constructed. Also, the sensitivity analyses are performed for the changes of model parameters. The results of this study can be usefully used in establishing the reliability growth planning curve of the One-shot system.

  • This paper deals with modeling method and application of Fuzzy Discrete Event System(FDES). FDES have characteristics which Crisp Discrete Event System(CDES) can't deals with and is constituted with the events that is determined by vague and uncertain judgement like biomedical or traffic control. We proposed Real-time Fuzzy Temporal Logic Framework(RFTLF) to model Fuzzy Discrete Event System. It combines Temporal Logic Framework with Fuzzy Theory. We represented the model of traffic signal systems for intersection to have the property of Fuzzy Discrete Event System with Real-time Fuzzy Temporal Logic Framework and designed a traffic signal controller for smooth traffic flow. Moreover, we proposed the method to find the minimum-time route to reach the desired destination with information obtained in each intersection. In order to evaluate the performance of Real-time Fuzzy Temporal Logic Framework model proposed in this paper, we simulated unit-time extension traffic signal controller model of the latest signal control method on the same condition.

  • The power series approximation method is proposed for real time implementations of a discrete flux observer. The proposed method improves the performance of the discrete flux observer in the case of a low sampling rate and high speed range, where the simple discrete flux observer converted by the Euler method cannot estimate the actual flux precisely. The performance of discrete flux observers with different orders of approximation is compared to find out the proper order of approximation. The validity of the proposed method is verified through simulation and experiment.
