축소 모형시험과 개별 요소 해석에 의한 원형 공동 주변의 점진적 취성파괴 특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of the Progressive Brittle Failure around Circular Opening by Scaled Model Test and Discrete Element Analysis)

  • 암반 내 형성된 과도한 초기응력장은 굴착 공동 주변에 점진적이고 국부적인 취성파괴를 유발시킴으로서 시공의 안정성과 경제성을 확보하는데 장애 요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 응력 수준 증가에 따른 공동 주변의 취성파괴 거동 특성을 파악하기 위해 축소된 원형 터널 공시체를 이용한 이축압축시험과 입자 결합 모델을 이용하여 개별요소법의 일종인 $PFC^{2D}$ 해석에 의한 연구를 수행하였다. 실내 이축압축시험을 통해 취성파괴의 발생 영역과 형태 면에서 실제 암반 공동 주변에서 발생된 파괴 특성과 유사한 파괴 거동을 모사할 수 있었다. 응력 강도비 증가에 따라 진행된 균열 발전단계를 미소파괴음 특성 변수들에 대한 상세 분석을 통해 평가하였다. $PFC^{2D}$ 해석을 통해 공동 주변에서의 미세 균열 발생과 전파 과정을 성공적으로 가시화하였으며 이를 통해 이축 압축시험 결과의 신뢰성과 시험방법의 적정성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 공개키 기반 구조 (PKI; Public Key Infrastructure)에 필수적인 요소인 인증서의 상태 검증에 있어서 인증서 상태 검증 서버인 OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) 서버는 실시간 상태 검증을 제공한다. 그러나 서버와 클라이언트의 메시지 인증을 위해 전자 서명을 수행해야 하며, 이때 사용되는 공개 암호 연산 과정의 복잡성은 동시에 많은 클라이언트의 요청이 발생할 경우에 응답 시간을 크게 지연시킨다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 인증서 상태 검증 서버의 시뮬레이션 모델을 DEVS (Disvrete EVent system Specification) 방법론을 이용하여 설계하였다. 이 모델은 인증서의 상태 검증을 요청하는 영역에 위치하여 해쉬함수를 적용한 인증을 수행하도록 구성되었으며, 시뮬레이션 결과는 제시한 방법이 인증서 상태 검증 속도를 증대시켜 결과적으로 사용자의 응답 시간이 감소되는 것을 보여준다.

Petri Nets을 이용한 조선소 패널 블록 조립 라인의 모델링과 시뮬레이션 (Modeling and Simulation of Ship Panel-block Assembly Line Using Petri Nets)

  • This paper proposes a modeling and simulation process of a panel production line (PPL) in a shipyard. The panel production line is an assembly process to produce a main panel of a flat block and a curved block. In this paper, its activity analysis is carried out using expression of IDEF0, and its process is qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed and modeled by Petri Nets. A commercial discrete event simulation tool, $QUEST^{TM}$, is used for virtual PPL and simulation. The modeling results by Petri Net are mapped to elements of the simulation tool. Finally, an integrated simulation environment of PPL is implemented in order to efficiently utilize the virtual PPL model. With the help of IDEF0 and Petri Nets, we could systematically analyze and describe the PPL process that are characterized as being concurrent, asynchronous, distributed, parallel, nondeterministic, and/or stochastic. Also, the dynamic and concurrent activities of a PPL system were able to be simulated. A timing concept can be included into the Petri nets model to evaluate performance and dependability issues of the system.

대량생산 체제의 Simulation을 위한 Activity 중심 Modeling (Activity-oriented Modeling of Mass Production System)

  • Described in this paper is a modelling methodology for mass production system simulation. The mass production system under consideration consists of various types of flow lines, special purpose production facilities, conveyor lines, palletized carts, and storage facilities. This type of production system is typical in home appliance industry, automobile industry, footwear industry, etc. where a variety of product mix are mass-produced. The modelling methodology is based on the "discrete-event formalism", and an "activity-oriented world view" is adopted to formalize the system description. A distinctive feature of the modelling methodology is that only the static structure (ie, system components) is included in the fixed model. The dynamic structure of the system is specified through a "data-driven" mechanism, which is an extension of the "experimental frame" concept. Each type of system components (ie, flow line, conveyors, carts, etc.) is formally modeled by using Activity Cycle Diagrams. The issue of "model structuring" is also addressed. The modeling methodology has been successfully applied in a real simulation study of a mass production system.

  • This paper proposes a methodology for development of protocol models. The methodology attempts to employ two modeling environments in models development, NS2 and DEVSim++, which will interoperate during simulation. NS2 is a widely used network simulator in protocol research, which employs an informal modeling approach. Within the approach time and state information of protocol models are not explicitly described, thus being hard to validate model. On the other hand the DEVS formalism is a mathematical framework for modeling a discrete event system in a hierarchical, modular manner. In DEVS, model's time and state information is described explicitly, By using DEVS formalism, models can easily be validated and errors in the modeling stage can be reduced. However, the DEVS simulator, DEVSim++, supports a small amount of models library which are required to build simulation models of general communication network. Although NS2 employs an informal modeling approach and models validation is difficult, it supports abundant models library validated by experimental users. Thus, combination of DEVS models and NS2 models may be an effective solution for network modeling. Such combination requires interoperation between DEVSim++ simulator and NS2 simulator. This paper develops an environment for such interoperation. Correctness and effectiveness of the implemented interoperation environment have been validated by simulation of UDP and TCP models.

  • The Korea Navy has been making constant efforts to apply M&S (modeling and simulation) to naval ship development, and the generalization of M&S for ship development is a trend. M&S for ship design is used for the V&V (verification and validation) of its design and operation, including design verification and ergonomic design that considers the crew using the Naval Ship Product Model. In addition, many parts of this M&S are repeatedly accomplished regardless of the kinds of ships. This study aims to standardize M&S, which repeatedly applies similar verifications for operation scenarios. A congestion assessment simulation for the major spaces of ships was the subject of the standardization based on the leading research results of various researchers, and a simulation automation solution was suggested. An information model using XML was proposed through the simulation automation concept, and a prototype system based on it was implemented. The usability was shown through a case study that verified the operability performance of the crew messroom.

조선소 야드 블록 물류 시뮬레이션을 위한 GIS 정보 체계 연구 (A Study on GIS Information System for Shipbuilding Yard Block Logistics Simulation)

  • These days, geographic information system has released in everyday life and industries. However, the shipyard only uses it to manage the layout of the yard. In this study, we apply the Geographic Information System to shipbuilding block logistics simulation to analyse the behavior of bogies and forklifts carrying blocks and materials in the shipyard. The shipyard manages daily block logistics plans at the execution planning stage. However, since it is a daily plan, it is difficult to respond to an unexpected situation immediately, and application to judge a certain value or higher value is insufficient. Therefore, a simulation model was created using the shape and attribute information inherent in the geographic information system to verify and improve the block logistics of the mid-and long-term yards. Through this simulation model, we will analyse loads on the workplace, stockyard, and road, and contribute to overall logistics improvement from the point of view of resource planning. In addition, the results of the simulation are reflected in the planning, to help support various decisions.

잠수함의 표적기동분석 시뮬레이션을 위한 전술처리기의 구현 (Implementation of a tactic manager for the target motion analysis simulation of a submarine)

  • 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 다양한 전술에 따른 효과를 예측할 수 있도록 모델과 분리된 전술처리기의 개념에 대해서 연구하였다. 테이블 방식으로 전술을 정의하고 이를 처리할 수 있는 전술처리기를 시험적으로 구현하였으며 잠수함 대 수상함 교전 시의 표적기동분석 시뮬레이션 예제에 적용하여 그 효용성을 검증하였다. 개발된 전술처리기를 이용하면 향후 전술이 변경되더라도 모델을 수정하지 않고 전술 정의 파일만 외부에서 수정하여 입력함으로써 원하는 시뮬레이션 결과를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있다.

네트워크 보안을 위한 침입차단 시스템과 운영체제 보안 기능 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 (Modeling and Simulation of Firewall System and Security Functions of Operating System for Network Security)

  • The need for network security is being increasing due to the development of information communication and internet technology. In this paper, firewall models, operating system models and other network component models are constructed. Each model is defined by basic or compound model, referencing DEVS formalism. These models and the simulation environment are implemented with MODSIM III, a general purpose, modular, block-structured high-level programming language which provides direct support for object-oriented programming and discrete-event simulation. In this simulation environment with representative attacks, the following three attacks are generated, SYN flooding and Smurf attack as an attack type of denial of service, Mail bomb attack as an attack type of e-mail. The simulation is performed with the models that exploited various security policies against these attacks. The results of this study show that the modeling method of packet filtering system, proxy system, unix and windows NT operating system. In addition, the results of the simulation show that the analysis of security performance according to various security policies, and the analysis of correlation between availability and confidentiality according to security empowerment.

  • 본 논문은 블록체인 기술에서 탈중앙화된 시스템 접근 방식을 활용하여 차량 인터넷(IoV)에서 신뢰할 수 있는 데이터 공유 체계를 제안한다. 스마트 계약에 기초한 인센티브 메커니즘을 채택하여, 차량은 올바른 교통 정보 메시지를 정직하게 공유함으로써 시스템으로부터 특정한 보상을 받게 된다. 이후 차량은 평판 등급을 생성하여 수신되는 모든 정보 메세지를 검증함으로서 메시지에 대한 신뢰성을 유지한다. 한편 네트워크 성능을 분석하기 위해 이산 이벤트 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 IoT 네트워크를 시뮬레이션하였고, 인센티브 모델은 분산형 접근 방식의 이더리움 스마트 계약을 활용하여 설계하였다.
