Many countries are trying to develope the sustainable energy and environmental protection through a more concrete international cooperation. In this paper, the necessity and technical & economical feasibility on the interconnection of power systems in the South Korea, North Korea and North East Asia Region are emphasized with reference to the interconnection between the integrated power system according to the reunification of Germany and the Western European Power System. The Germany has a similar experience of separation and disconnection of their power system what happened in the Korean peninsula. Particularly the Power Economics And Clean Environment Network that could contribute to the PEACE promotion. Through the PEACE NETWORK PROJECT, the interconnection of power systems in North-Eastern Asia should be discussed in serious.

In this paper conventional technique will be described, which can be used for the measuring various parameters of induction motor. This is followed by presenting some other, alternative, techniques. The two tests are described which are suitable to obtain the electrical parameters of symmetrical 1hp three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor. These are the blocked rotor test and no load test. By the application of these, it is possible to determine the parameters which are presented in the steady-state equivalent-circuit of determining an induction motor. One conventional method of determining the inertia of an induction motors is obtained by performing retardation tests. The angular rotor speed of the motor is monitored, following its disconnection from the stator supply. Since the inertia torque J dw/dt contains the inertia coefficient J and the friction and windage torque Bw contains the coefficient B, then J and B can be determined by performing retardation tests.

The Stagnation Syndrome of Qi is the depressed and suppressed mental state caused by anxiety, unaccomplished desire, maintained thought, and emotional problems, resulting in a concomitant physiological somatic dysfunction. Although blood test, urine test, EKG, and gastric endoscopy showed normal finding. a patient complained of a group of symptoms, so we considered it as an unidentified clinical syndrome. This syndrome could be interpreted as the disconnection of Fire (Heart) and Water (Kidney) in Oriental medicine, and treated with the therapeutic method of 'Ascending Water-Descending Fire'. After the application of Gyogam-dan and Ganggi-tang for 18 days, symptoms and signs improved.

Hypothalamic hamartoma (HH) is a benign indolent lesion despite the presentation of refractory epilepsy. Behavioral disturbances and endocrine problems are additional critical symptoms that arise along with HHs. Due to its nature of generating epileptiform discharge and spreading to cortical region, various management strategies have been proposed and combined. Surgical approaches with open craniotomy or endoscopy, stereotactic approaches with radiosurgery and gamma knife surgery or radiofrequency thermos-coagulation, and laser ablation have been introduced. Topographical dimension and the surgeon's preference are key factors for treatment modalities. Endoscopic disconnection has been one of the most favorable options performed in treating HHs. Here we discuss presurgical evaluation, patient selection, surgical procedures, and complications.

이동 컴퓨터 환경에서의 멀티미디어 스트림을 전송하는 경우에는 무선 네트웍의 높은 오류 발생률(error rate)과 잦은 단절(disconnection)로 인하여 데이터의 도달시간이 불규칙하게 되므로 데이터가 자연스럽게 재생되지 못한다. 따라서 시간의 영향을 많이 받는 멀티미디어 데이터를 자연스럽게 재생하기 위해서는 데이터 도달 지연시간의 영향을 최소화하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 멀티미디어 스트림을 전송하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 프락시를 사용한 효과적인 버퍼링 방법을 사용하여 데이터의 도달시간을 일정하게 유지시키는 방법과, 사용자가 요구하는 서비스 품질(Quality of Service: QOS)을 만족시키면서 프레임의 지연에 좀 더 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 재생 제어방법을 제안하였다.

The impact factor of bridges is analyzed based on experimental data to examine the characteristics of the dynamic responses of bridges. The experimental impact factors are compared with the impact factor of Korean Highway Design Specification and Japan T-load in terms of the span length. According to the superstructural types of bridges, the variation of the impact factor is analyzed. When vehicles are passing on a bridge, the dynamic effect acts on the bridge impact factor more than at the time of design because of the velocity of vehicles, the surface roughness reduction due to the deterioration of the bridge deck pavement, and the disconnection of the bridge entrance and the expansion joint. Because the actual value is greater than the expected value at the time of design, the dynamic response of the bridge accelerates the deterioration of the bridge due to the accumulation of fatigue, and the bridge's life-time is shortened and can have an influence on the serviceability and safety of the bridge.

본 논문에서는 전기기구 접속부에서 발생되는 화재위험성을 분석하고자 일반적으로 전기기기에 사용되는 KIV($1.25\;mm^2$, 50가닥)전선을 사용하여, 인위적인 손상을 주어 길이 5 mm, 9 mm, 15 mm에 각각 소선수(50, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1가닥)를 가진 반단선 시료를 제작하고, 제작된 시료에 차단기나 퓨즈 등 전기적인 안전장치가 동작하지 않는 정상전류(4 A, 8 A, 12 A, 16 A)를 300초간 인가한 후, 열화상카메라를 이용하여 반단선의 온도특성 및 발화가능성을 확인하였다.

Electric mosquito repellent mats can be ignited by damage of cables, partial disconnection, overload. tracking and so on. In this study, we examined the structure of mosquito repellent mat, positive temperature coefficient(PTC) thermistor, used for heating element and phenomenological characteristics of remains, obtained on the scene of fires. After reappearance ignition test of PTC thermistors, we did comparison analysis them. And we could confine that the feature of heating plate and the shape of bursting were same.

무선 네트웍 환경에서의 이동컴퓨팅에서는 특성상 잦은 끊김과 높은 에러율 때문에 비연결시에도 수행을 계속할 수 있는 기능이 필요하다. 이러한 이동컴퓨팅 환경에서 비연결 수행기능을 제공하기 위해 많은 개념과 이론들이 제안되고 있다. 본 논문에서 마코프(Marcov) 모델링 기법을 이용하여 모빌 컴퓨팅 환경에서 비연결 수행상태를 포함한 평균 태스크의 수행시간을 분석하였다. 모빌 컴퓨팅 환경은 데이터 호딩(Data Hoarding), 비연결 수행(Disconnected operation), 정지(Stop)의 3가지 상태로 구성할 수 있다. 이러한 3가지 상태에서 여러 가지 입력 파라메터들(에러율 Error rate), 재연결율(Recovery rate), 태스크 수행 정지 확률(Stop), 호딩 오버헤드(Hoarding overhead), 재연결 오버헤드(Reintegration overhead)들이 태스크 수행시간에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해서 통신망 단절을 고려한 이동컴퓨팅에서 보다 효과적인 태스크 수행기법을 선택할 수 있다.

The purpose of this article is to introduce a useful methodology of effective goal-setting for the team-level units. As a way to overcome some common symptoms in terms of Strategic Performance Evaluation System such as lack of knowledge on goal-setting, disconnection of process, problem of judging the degree of difficulty about objectives, limits of staff departments evaluation, fairness and authority of evaluators, weakness in coaching technique, and quantity or figure-oriented evaluation, to name a few, and to seek a more plausible goal-setting methodology, the author suggests a persuasive goal-setting concept: VAR(Value-Added Results). VAR, as the end-results, is the team contributions that add value to the organization, and it results from the team's activities. In addition to these goal-setting technique based on the concept of value-added results, several aspects should be improved for Strategic Performance Evaluation System to be implemented more effectively. They are: 1) shift from MBO to MP & D(Managing Performance & Development), 2) impartial exercise of evaluation authority as a organizational public assets, 3) reinforcement of maternal leadership and servantship instead of paternal leadership, 4) utilization of IT-based evaluation system.
