정전 고속 미스트 엘리미네이터의 포집 효율 특성 (Particle removal characteristics of high-velocity electrostatic mist eliminator)

  • In this study, we developed a flat-plate type wet electrostatic precipitator that generates stable corona discharge compared to wire type discharge electrode. In order to compare the particle removal efficiency according to the shape of the discharge electrode such as the variation of the horizontal and vertical distance between spiked edges, and the variation of the height of discharge pin support were tested. As a result, when the horizontal distance between spiked edges was increased up to 36 mm, the vertical distance between spiked edges was increased up to 54 mm, and the height of the discharge pin support was increased up to 76 mm, the removal efficiency of PM10 was maintained at approximate 60.0%. Furthermore, the removal efficiency of particles over $5{\mu}m$ was about 80% or more. When the flow rate was 4 m/s, the gap between collection plates was 60 mm, and -14 kV was applied to the discharge electrode. The particle removal efficiency of the flat-plate type electrostatic precipitator was maintained when the horizontal and vertical distance between spiked edges, and the height of the discharge pin support was below a certain level. Those variables may be the important design factors for the shape of the discharge electrode. Therefore, when designing the electrostatic precipitator with multiple channels, the horizontal and vertical distance between spiked edges, and the height of discharge pin support must be selected in consideration of the weight of the discharge electrode and the processing cost.

내부전극 조밀도 변화에 따른 중첩방전형 오존발생기의 특성 (The Characteristics of a Superposed Discharge Type Ozonizer with Variation of Mesh in Internal Electrode)

  • 본 논문에서는 고농도$\cdot$고수율 오존발생기를 개발할 목적으로 망사형 내부전극과 무성방전의 중첩을 이용한 중첩방전형 오존발생기를 설계$\cdot$제작하였다. 중첩방전형 오존발생기는 방전공간에 3개의 전극(중심전극, 내부전극 및 외부전극)과 2개의 gap(중심전극과 내부전극 사이의 gap과 내부전극과 외부전극 사이의 gap)으로 구성되어있다. 중첩방전형 오존발생기의 중심전극을 공통접지하고 내부전극과 외부전극에 $180{[^\circ]}$의 위상차를 가진 역극성의 교류 고전압을 각각 인가하면 각각의 방전 gap에서 발생하는 무성방전이 중첩되면서 오존이 발생된다. 이때, 내부전극의 조밀도가 증가할수록 방전전극의 면적이 확대되고 방전공간의 전력밀도가 억제되어 오존생성특성이 상승하였다. 그 결과 최대 17,720[ppm], 5.4[g/h] 및 250[g/kwh]의 오존을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • The effect of auxiliary electrode on the discharge characteristics in AC PDP with long sustain-gap was investigated. The auxiliary electrode was placed between scan and common electrode. When the pulse was applied to the auxiliary electrode during sustain period, the luminance of Ne + 13%Xe gas-mixture discharge increased and the discharge current decreased. The auxiliary pulse plays a role of improving electron excitation efficiency. When the auxiliary pulse was applied during address period, the address discharge time lag of Ne + 13%Xe gas-mixture could be reduced remarkably.

  • In this paper, we presents the characteristics of the new electrode structure in an AC Plasma Display Panel(PDP) that can generate dual mode discharges with a combination of short-gap and long-gap discharges. The experiment results show that the discharge voltage of the new electrode structure is mainly determined by short-gap discharge and the luminous efficiency is improved by 20% compared with the conventional electrode structure. The improvement of luminous efficiency is mainly caused by higher VUV generation and broader distribution from Ole ICCD camera measurements.

  • Formation of the nickel-cadmium alloy in the negative electrode of nickel-cadmium cell subjected to continuous charging at elevated temperatures ($40~45^{\circ}C$) is shown to be one of the causes of the 'stepped' discharge curves. The alloy has been characterized by electrode potential measurement and X-ray diffraction method. The potential lowering during discharge is related to discharge of the alloy. X -ray diffraction suggests that the nickel-cadmium alloy can be formed during charge in negative electrode by interaction of the two metals. Addition of Ni $(OH)_2$ into $Cd{\;}(OH)_2$ active material is found to form the alloy more readily than sintered negative electrode alone.ode alone.

  • A point plate type nonthermal plasma reactor, with a grounded cylindrical third electrode which closely- encompasses the needle point, have been investigated with an emphasis on the role of the third electrode. It was found that the point plate airgap, with the grounded third electrode, had a switching characteristic on its I V characteristics for negative and positive discharges, which is very different from that of a conventional point plate airgap without a third electrode. The corona discharge and ozone generation characteristics of the plasma reactor with the grounded cylindrical third electrode, such as the corona onset voltage. the breakdown voltage. the corona current. and the amount of output ozone, were influenced significantly by the height of the third electrode. and these characteristics can be controlled by adjusting the height of the third electrode.

  • This paper is researched discharge and ozone generation characteristics of ozonizer using $Al_2O_3$ Ceramic dielectric. The discharge characteristics with variation of the discharge electrode area is studied. The characteristics of ozone concentration. ozone generation and ozone yield were measured to discharge power, discharge electrode area and supplied gas flux for oxygen and air. The solubility of ozone for water concentrations and ozone generations proportional to discharge power and discharge electrode area. Ozone yield has slowly increase with Increasing discharge power at high flow-rate. As the result, the maximum values of ozone characteristics ozone generation and ozone yield, can be obtained 5817[ppm] and 36[g/kWh]. We make enough the ozone concentration as the air in the home. An electric discharge electrode area is apt to shrink gradually into a miniaturization trend of the ozonizer but the enlargement of the occurrence flight of the electric discharge area gives the characteristic enhance the aid in the identity condition through the structure improvement.

  • Recently, multi-hole electrode RF capacitively coupled plasma discharge is being used in the deposition of microcrystalline silicon for thin film solar cell to increase the speed of deposition. To make efficient multi-hole electrode RF capacitively coupled plasma discharge, the hole diameter is to be designed concerning the plasma parameters. In past studies, the relationship between plasma parameters such as pressures and gas species, and hole diameter for efficient plasma density enhancement is experimentally shown. In the presentation, the relationship between plasma deriving frequency and hole diameter for efficient multi-hole electrode RF capacitively coupled plasma discharge is shown. In usual capacitively coupled plasma discharge, plasma parameter, such as plasma density, plasma impedence and plasma temperature, change as frequency increases. Because of the change, the optimum hole diameter of the multi-hole electrode RF capacitively coupled plasma for high density plasma is thought to be modified when the plasma deriving frequency changes. To see the frequency effect on the multi-hole RF capacitively coupled plasma is discharged and one of its electrode is changed from a plane electrode to a variety of multi-hole electrodes with different hole diameters. The discharge is derived by RF power source with various frequency and the plasma parameter is measured with RF compensated single Langmuir probe. The shrinkage of the hole diameter for efficient discharge is observed as the plasma deriving frequency increases.

  • In this papers, we proposed the new method in order to diagnosis partial discharge type of transformers. For wavelet transform, Daubechies filter is used, we can obtain wavelet coefficients which is used to extract feature of statistical parameters (maximum value, average value, dispersion, skewness, kurtosis) about high frequency current signal per 3-electrode type (needle-plane electrode, IEC electrode and Void electrode.). Also. these coefficients are used to identify Signal of internal partial discharge in transformer. As a result. from compare of high frequency current signal amplitude and average value. we are obtained results of IEC electrode> Void electrode> Needle-Plane electrode. otherwise. In case of skewness and kurtosis, we are obtained results of Void electrode> IEC electrode > Needle-Plane electrode. As Improved method in order to diagnosis partial discharge type of transformers, we use neural network.

니켈/철 축전지의 철전극에 관한 연구(II) (A Study on Iron Electrode of Ni/Fe Battery(II))

  • 고성능 니켈-철 축전지를 개발하기 위하여 철전극에 대한 충방전 반응 특성을 전위주사법, SEM, XRD분석으로 조사하였으며, 또한 전극용량을 정전류 충방전 시험법으로 조사하였다. 전해질 온도 및 농도가 전극용량에 크게 영향을 미쳤으며, 특히 온도가 상승함에 따라 1차 방전용량이 증가하였다. 증공제는 전극용량에 거의 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 전극용량은 방전율 0.25C에서 350㎃h/g (이용율 36%) 이상으로 나타났고, 전극의 안정성도 양호하게 나타났으나 활성화가 느리게 일어났다.
