유성 버스트 채널 도통율 향상을 위해 Transversal Filter를 적용한 DS시스템의 개선 (Improvement of DS System using Transversal Filter for Advanced Duty Rate on Meteor Burst Channel)

  • MBC(meteor burst communications)는 그 전송로의 많은 장점에도 불구하고 도통율이 수%이하로 낮다는 큰 결점이 있다. 이를 위해 큰 경제적 부담 없이 전송 채널의 도통율을 향상시키는 방법으로서 간단한 구조의 DS(Direct Sequence)시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 DS 간이 수신방식은 동기신호의 포착이나 유지에 소요되는 시스템을 생략할 수가 있어서 MBC가 가지는 경제성을 만족시킬 수 있으나, 잡음의 영향을 크게 받아 도통율이 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 이를 위해 제안된 DS 시스템에 Transversal Filter회로를 적용하여 SNR을 6dB이상 향상시켰다. 이 방법으로 개선되는 효과는 수신신호가 약한 환경에서 보다 더 큰 것으로 나타나는데 시뮬레이션에 의하면 SNR이 약 6dB 개선되었을 때 평균 버스트 길이가 100ms인 것은 70%로 개선되어 170ms로 되고, 50ms환경에서는 130%개선되어 115ms가 되어 수신신호가 약한 환경에서 도통율이 크게 개선됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

Modeling and Direct Power Control Method of Vienna Rectifiers Using the Sliding Mode Control Approach

  • This paper uses the switching function approach to present a simple state model of the Vienna-type rectifier. The approach introduces the relationship between the DC-link neutral point voltage and the AC side phase currents. A novel direct power control (DPC) strategy, which is based on the sliding mode control (SMC) for Vienna I rectifiers, is developed using the proposed power model in the stationary ${\alpha}-{\beta}$ reference frames. The SMC-based DPC methodology directly regulates instantaneous active and reactive powers without transforming to a synchronous rotating coordinate reference frame or a tracking phase angle of grid voltage. Moreover, the required rectifier control voltages are directly calculated by utilizing the non-linear SMC scheme. Theoretically, active and reactive power flows are controlled without ripple or cross coupling. Furthermore, the fixed-switching frequency is obtained by employing the simplified space vector modulation (SVM). SVM solves the complicated designing problem of the AC harmonic filter. The simplified SVM is based on the simplification of the space vector diagram of a three-level converter into that of a two-level converter. The dwelling time calculation and switching sequence selection are easily implemented like those in the conventional two-level rectifier. Replacing the current control loops with power control loops simplifies the system design and enhances the transient performance. The simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and the digital signal processor-controlled 1.5 kW Vienna-type rectifier are used to verify the fast responses and robustness of the proposed control scheme.

도플러 추정을 적용한 직접수열 대역확산 전송 기반 수중 이동통신 방법 및 가상 이동신호를 이용한 해상시험 결과 (Underwater mobile communication scheme based on the direct sequence spread spectrum transmission using Doppler estimation and its sea trial results with the pseudo-moving transmission)

  • 본 논문에서는 수중통신 장치가 수중에서 이동시 발생하는 도플러(Doppler) 편이를 극복하기 위한 도플러 편이 추정방법과 직접수열 확산대역 전송의 신호처리 방법을 제시한다. 제안한 방법은 도플러 편이에 강인하고, 자기 상관 특성이 우수한 64길이의 Frank 신호열을 두 번 반복하는 프리앰블을 사용하여 2단계로 도플러 편이를 추정한다. 또한, 제안한 방법을 직접수열 대역확산 전송을 사용하는 수중통신방식에 적용하여 수중이동통신용 패킷 설계와 RAKE 수신기를 설계한다. 설계한 확산대역 수중이동통신 변조방식은 데이터 심볼을 Differential-Quadrature Phase Shift Keying(DQPSK) 변조하여 수신시 위상추적이 필요 없고, RAKE 수신기에서 동위상 결합이 용이하게 할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 제안한 도플러 편이 추정방법을 포함하는 RAKE 수신방법은 약 17.5 m/s의 이동속도까지 가상으로 이동하는 송신기로부터 수신한 직접수열 대역 확산 신호를 성공적으로 수신한다.

국내 발사체를 이용한 달착륙선 발사시 전이 궤도 예비 임무 설계 (Preliminary Mission Design of Transfer Orbit of a Lunar Lander Launched by a Korean Space Launch Vehicle)

  • 본 논문에서는 달착륙선이 국내 개발된 발사체 상단에 탑재되어 지구 저궤도에 투입되고, 이후 달 전이 궤도 투입 기동을 통해 달에 착륙할 경우에 대한 예비 임무 분석을 수행하였다. 각각의 장단점이 있는 직접 착륙 방식 및 간접 착륙 방식을 모두 적용해보았으며, 2030년 음력 10월에 발사할 경우 발사 일에 따른 전이 궤도 특성을 분석하였다. 여기에 미국의 달착륙선 Surveyor-1과 같이 일식 조건, 태양 고도각 조건 및 추적 가능 시간대를 만족시키는 발사 일을 분석해 보았다. 직접 착륙 방식의 경우는 음력 10월중 4일, 간접 착륙 방식의 경우는 3일에 발사할 경우 근지점 이각과 일식 조건에 있어서 가장 적합한 발사일로 분석되었다.

  • The conventional mouthguard fabrication process consists of elastomeric impression taking and followed gypsum model making is now into intraoral scanning and direct mouthguard 3D printing with an additive manufacturing process. Also, dental professionals can get various diagnostic data collection such as facial scans, cone-beam CT, jaw motion tracking, and intraoral scan data to superimpose them for making virtual patient datasets. To print mouthguards, dental CAD software allows dental professionals to design mouthguards with ease. This article shows how to make 3D printed mouthguard step by step.

  • Research on photovoltaic (PV) generation is taking a lot of attention due to its infinity and environment-friendliness with decrease of price per PV cell. While central inverters connect group of PV modules to utility grid in which maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for each module is difficult, micro inverter is attached on each module so that MPPT for individual modules can be easily achieved. Moreover, energy generation and consumption efficiency can be much improved by employing direct current (DC) distribution system. In this paper, a digitally controlled PV micro converter interfacing PV to DC distribution system is proposed. Boundary conduction mode (BCM) is utilized to achieve zero voltage switching (ZVS) of active switch and eliminate reverse recovery problem of passive switch. A 120W prototype boost PV micro converter is implemented to verify the feasibility and experimental results show higher than 98% efficiency at peak power and 97.29% of European efficiency.

GER 유체를 이용한 ER Brake System의 설계 및 속도 제어 (Design and Speed Control of ER Brake System Using GER Fluids)

  • This paper presents robust control performance of a direct current(DC) motor with brake system adopting a giant electrorheological(GER) fluid, whose distinguished feature is an extremely high value of yield stress. As a first step, Bingham characteristics of the GER fluid is experimentally investigated using the Couette type electroviscometer. A cylindrical type of ER brake is then devised based on the Bingham model, and its braking torque is evaluated. Structural analysis of ER break is performed using ANSYS. After formulating the governing equation of motion for the DC motor with ER brake system, a sliding mode control algorithm, which is very robust to external disturbances and parameter uncertainties, is synthesized and experimentally realized in order to achieve desired rotational speed trajectories. The tracking responses of the control system are then evaluated and verified by presenting speed control performance.

  • This paper proposes the direct detection method of phase angle for the power source, which is based on the PLL method. The proposed method using a bidirectional photo-coupler is used to directly detect the zero crossing of phase voltage and calculate the angular frequency in the controller based on a M/T algorithm. Through the method, the additional installation space in the traditional method using a potential transformer can be minimized and it can be easy to design. The paper presents straightforward schematic circuits, design and experimental results.

화상처리를 이용한 동작분석 시스템에 관한 연구 (Motion analysis system using image processing)

  • This paper presents the development of videobased 3-dimensional tracking system. Measurement of human motion is important in the application of ertonomics. The system uses advanced direct video measurement technology. Passive retro-reflecting markers are attached to a subject and movements of markers are observed by two CCD cameras. Infrared light emitted near the CCD cameras is reflected by the markers and is detected by the cameras. The images are captured by Samsung MVB302 board and the centers of markers are calculated by DSP program. The positions of markers are transferred from MVB02 board to the computer through AT bus. The computer then tracks the position of each marker and saves the data. This system has dynamic accuracy with 0.7% average error and 4.2% maximum error, and the sampling rate to 6 .approx. 10 Hz, and this system can analyse the trajectory and speed of the marker. The results of this study can be used for operator's motion analysis, task analysis, and hand movement characteristic analysis.

  • The practical implementation of model reference adaptive systems(MRAS) using digital computer requires the derivation of discrete-time adaptation laws. This is specially important in the case of direct driver robot and light weight manipulator where inertia changes ang gravity effects are significant. We develope a discrete-time model reference adaptive control scheme for trajectory tracking of robot manipulator. Instead of the conventional Lyapunov approach hyperstabillty theory is more appealing than the Lyapunov approach. It is better suited to discrete time systems and offers more flexibility in design by providing additional free design parameters.
