  • Ni(II)이온과 2-(2-Hydroxyethylamino)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol(Monotris)과의 착물형성을 $25^{\circ}C$ 이온강도 0.10M 에서 전위차법으로 연구하였다. $NiL^{2+}$ 착물은 히드록실기의 산소 원자 뿐만아니라 아민의 질소기도 금속에 배위하였다. pH가 증가하면서 $NiL^{2=}$는 3개의 수소이온이 해리된 $Ni_2L_2H_{-3}^+$의 이핵착물이 형성되었다.

  • Dinuclear Ni(II)-thiophene halides, which contain linear bridging thienylenes, trans,trans-[$(PR_3)_2$(X)Ni-Y-Ni(X)$(PR_3)_2$] {X = Cl, Br; $H_2Y$ = 5,5'-dichloro-2,2'-bithiophene ($H_2bth$); $H_2tth$ = 5,5"-dichloro-2,2':5',2''-terthiophene ($H_2tth$)} were prepared by the oxidative addition of dihalobithiophene ($H_2bth$) or dihaloterthiophene ($H_2tth$) to [$Ni(COD)_2$] in the presence of tertiary phosphines. Subsequent reactions of $NaN_3$ with the dinuclear Ni(II)-thiophene chlorides gave the corresponding Ni(II)-azido complexes, trans,trans-[$(PR_3)_2(N_3)$Ni-Y-Ni$(N_3)(PR_3)_2$], whose reactivity toward trimethylsilyl pseudohalides such as trimethylsilyl isothiocyanates and cyanides was investigated. In addition, the reaction of trans-[$BrNi(PEt_3)_2-C_4H_2S-C_4H_2S$-CHO], a thienyl Ni(II) complex containing a terminal aldehyde group, with phosphonium ylide was examined.

Synthesis and Characterization of Dinuclear Ni(II) Complexes with Tetraazadiphenol Macrocycle Bearing Cyclohexanes

  • The dinuclear tetraazadiphenol macrocyclic nickel(II) complexes [$Ni_2$([20]-DCHDC)]$Cl_2$ (I), [$Ni_2$([20]-DCHDC)]$(ClO_4)_2{\cdot}2CH_3CN $ (II(b)) and [$Ni_2$([20]-DCHDC)$(NCS)_2$] (III) {$H_2$[20]-DCHDC = 14,29-dimethyl-3,10,18,25-tetraazapentacyclo-[25,3,1,$0^{4,9}$,$1^{12,16}$,$0^{19,24}$]ditriacontane-2,10,12,14,16(32),17,27(31), 28,30-decane-31,32-diol} have been synthesized by self-assembly and characterized by elemental analyses, conductances, FT-IR and FAB-MS spectra, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure of II(b) is determined. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c. The coordination geometries around Ni(II) ions in I and II(b) are identical and square planes. In complex III each Ni(II) ion is coordinated to $N_2O_2$ plane from the macrocycle and N atoms of NCS- ions occupying the axial positions, forming a square pyramidal geometry. The nonbonded Ni…Ni intermetallic separation in the complex II(b) is 2.8078(10) $\AA$. The FAB mass spectra of I, II and III display major fragments at m/z 635.1, 699.4 and 662.4 corresponding to [$Ni_2$([20]-DCHDC)(Cl + 2H)]$^+$, [$Ni_2$([20]-DCHDC)$(ClO_4\;+\;2H)]^+$ and [$Ni_2$([20]-DCHDC)(NCS) + 6H]$^+$, respectively.

DNA 모델인 Bis(p-nitrophenyl)phosphate에 대한 2핵 Ni(II) 착 화합물의 촉매 가수분해 반응에서 물 분자와 금속 이온의 역할 (The Roles of Metal Ions and Water Molecules in the Hydrolysis of Bis(p-nitrophenyl)phosphate as a DNA Model Catalyzed by Dinuclear Ni(II) Complex)

  • DNA 모델 화합물인 bis(p-nitrophenyl)phosphate(BNPP)에 대한 2핵 닉켈(II) 착 화합물, ${\mu}-aquapentaaqua[{\mu}-3,6-bis(6'-methyl-2'-pyridyl)pyridazine]chlorodinickel(II)$ trichloride trihydrate(APNT)의 촉매 가수분해 반응성을 검토하였다. APNT의 산 해리 상수는 각각 $pKa_1=7.9$$pKa_2=9.6$이었으며 BNPP의 가수분해반응 결과, pH 7.0과 $50^{\circ}C$에서 무 촉매인 경우에 비하여 가수분해 속도를 약 37만 배 가량 촉진시킴을 확인하였다. 그리고 pH-rate profile로부터 실험 사실을 합리적으로 설명할 수 있는 APNT에 의한 BNPP의 촉매 가수분해 반응에 대한 일련의 catalytic cycle을 제안하였다. 따라서 반응의 각 단계에서 2핵 닉켈(II) 착 화합물의 금속 이온들은 phosphoryl group의 전달 속도를 촉진하였고 물 분자는 친핵체와 양성자 전달체로 작용하였다.

Different Dimensional and Structural Variations in Coordination Compounds of Cadmium, Manganese and Nickel Constructed from the Ligand 2,2'-Bipyidine-3,3',6,6'-tetracarboxylic Acid (H4bptc)

  • The reactions of hydrated $CdCl_2$, $MnCl_2$, and $NiCl_2$ with 2,2'-bipyidine-3,3',6,6'-tetracarboxylic acid ($H_4bptc$) afforded the mononuclear [$Cd^{II}(H_2bptc)(H_2O)_3]{\cdot}H_2O$ (1), linear $\{[Cd(H_2bptc)(H_2O)]{\cdot}3H_2O\}_n$ (2), 3-D heterobimetallic $[NaCd(Hbptc)(H_2O)]$ (3), layer $[Mn(H_2bptc)(H_2O)]_n$ (4) and a dinuclear compound $[Ni_2(H_2bptc)-(H_2O)_2]{\cdot}6H_2O$ (5). These compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and their structures have been determined by X-ray crystallography. The thermal stabilities of 1-3 were measured by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and their solid state luminescence properties together with the free ligand $H_4bptc$ were investigated at room temperature.
