  • This paper is to explore examples of complementary use of digital and physical models. The reason for this is to suggest a method for commercializing architectural design considering high technology. These cases are the practical and educational environment in which design processes based on digital computation technology are performed. Also, in this environment, analog design media (eg, physical models) still being used in the design process using digital computing. Indeed, in this environment, designers are exploiting digital and physical models to address the types of risks that can be discovered when designs are implemented and these risks. By analyzing these cases, we define the roles of digital and physical models to visualize and resolve risks. This paper focuses on one of method as "prototyping", which is used in the field of machinery and is a difficult method to carry out in the conventional design process. In particular, designers look for benefits that encourage designers in utilizing current digital computation technologies (eg, parametric design, simulation, building information models, and digital fabrication). Among the roles of the physical model, roles that can not be replaced by the digital model are explored. It is clear that this case-based study has difficulty in generalizing the design method. However, it helps the designers of today's practical and educational environment to verify and design the actual details of construction and operation when applying and developing unfamiliar materials and methods in the field of architecture.

시간제 디지털 임대 사무환경의 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Time-based Digital Rental Workplace)

  • This study aims at analyzing the characteristics and trends of future workplace in reference to the case for Digital Nomad Space (DNS). For this study, it has been investigated how to converge meanings of the digital environment and physical office space by which surveys to potential digital nomads were fulfilled. As a result, the types and the properties of future workplace in digital environment have been obtained. This study also includes general characteristics and design aspects of the time-based ubiquitous rental workplace followed by investigating future trends of the digital era. Thus, suggestions of spatial requirements of the digitalized office towards the practical level in the architectural interior design is proposed, and DNS has special features such as the cultural complex and ICT-based facilities with free accessibility to existing information and data over the air.

  • The production environment of fast and accurate news video has been continuously changing together with technology advance. Especially, the editing of the news video advanced focusing on the non-linear system by the introduction of digital technology and the recording of news video advanced to 'tapeless' base. In this new news video production environment, the recorded news videos are transmitted, edited and archived through the NPS (Network Production System), which dramatically improves the efficiency of the news video production. However, there are some issues which need to be resolved in the introduction of NPS. The purpose of this research is to identify the necessity of NPS introduction in the changing news video production environment, explore the issues which should be resolved and suggest the proper way to introduce the NPS to broadcasting companies.

웹툰의 아카이빙 방안 연구 (A Study on the Archiving of Webtoon)

  • The environment of using digital devices has been developed day by day, as mobile communication network has been fast and smart phone and tablet PC have been spread. When the environment changing, the contents consumers prefer have been changing too. The Webtoon became the representative contents of 'Snack culture'. The webtoon has led the growth of cartoon market for years recently instead of the slow comics growth. And it places its elf as contents on a firm basis, as it has been adapted to another genre such as Pay, Flm, TV Drama. Now it's expected to be an extgeneration contents that will lead Han-ryu(Korean wave). Though the webtoon has important and strong presence, there is no digital archive for collecting and preserving the webtoon, Korean Cartoon Contents Agency started making 'webtoon archive', but the groundwork and the study on the webtoon that represents digital culture contents are not enough a lot. In this study, the cases on digital archiving of culture contents in Korea are researched, and the direction on webtoon archiving that has just started is also discussed. The Archiving of webtoon that can't be seperated from digital contents is connected with archiving of digital culture contents in direction where they should be headed to.

정보화 수준과 소득 수준과의 관계: PC기반 환경을 중심으로 (A Study on Digital Divide and Household Income: Focused on PC-based environment)

  • 정보와 지식의 소유 또는 접근에 따라서 사회적 불평등 특히 경제적 불평등 역시 매우 커질수 있다. 정보격차는 소득격차로 더 나아가서 경제격차로 이어질 수 있다. 최근 들어 스마트환경으로 진화하면서 우리사회는 정보격차에 있어 좀 더 복잡한 상황을 맞고 있다. 스마트 환경에서는 기존 PC기반의 유선 인터넷 기반의 환경과 달리 전송수단에 얽매이지 않는 다양한 미디어 서비스가 등장하고 있어 스마트 환경에서의 정보격차는 훨씬 더 심각한 문제들을 발생시키고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 일반국민들을 대상으로 시행했던 정보격차지수 및 실태조사결과를 바탕으로 우리 국민들의 정보화수준과 소득과의 상관관계를 분석하는데 있다. 만약 우리 국민들의 정보에 접근하고, 활용하고 이용하는 역량 수준에 따라 소득수준에도 차이가 발생한다면 우리정부의 정보격차해소를 위한 정책이나 전략 등에 있어 새로운 접근이나 변화가 필요하다. 특히 정보소외집단에 대한 배려와 관심 및 계속적인 정보격차해소지원책에 대한 노력이 수반되어야 할 것이다. 연구결과 우리국민의 정보화수준과 가구소득과의 상관관계는 통계적으로 유의한 양(+)의 관계를 나타냈다. 또한 그 상관계수 추세가 양(+)으로 나타나 우리나라 일반국민들에 대한 정보화 수준을 높일 수 있는 정부의 다양한 정보화 정책이 필요함을 시사한다.

  • 최근 정보기술의 발전과 디지털화로 도서관의 정보 네트워크화가 급속히 이루어지고 있다. 정보네트워크 기반의 디지털 도서관에서 멀티미디어 컨텐츠에 대한 관심과 이용은 점차 증대되고 있다. 이에 대해 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠에 대한 명확한 개념정의와 응용환경을 고찰하고 디지털 도서관에서의 멀티미디어 활용을 위한 컨텐츠서비스 및 컨텐츠관리 방안에 대해서 분석하였다. 그 결과 정보환경의 변화에는 정보기술의 영향이 중요한 요소로서 작용하며 이용자의 정보요구가 다양한 유형의 자원인 멀티미디어 컨텐츠로의 활용으로 변화하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

다중 뷰 편집환경을 위한 점진적 다중진입 지원 파서에 대한 연구 (A Study of Incremental and Multiple Entry Support Parser for Multi View Editing Environment)

  • As computer performance and needs of user convenience increase, computer user interface are also changing. This changes had great effects on software development environment. In past, text editors like vi or emacs on UNIX OS were the main development environment. These editors are very strong to edit source code, but difficult and not intuitive compared to GUI(Graphical User Interface) based environment and were used by only some experts. Moreover, the trends of software development environment was changed from command line to GUI environment and GUI Editor provides usability and efficiency. As a result, the usage of text based editor had decreased. However, because GUI based editor use a lot of computer resources, computer performance and efficiency are decreasing. The more contents are, the more time to verify and display the contents it takes. In this paper, we provide a new parser that provide multi view editing, incremental parsing and multiple entry of abstract syntax tree.

Sparse M2M 환경을 위한 DTMNs 라우팅 프로토콜 (Sparse DTMNs routihg protocol for the M2M environment)

  • Recently, ICT technology has been evolving towards an M2M (Machine to Machine) environment that allows communication between machine and machine from the communication between person and person, and now the IoT (Internet of Things) technology that connects all things without human intervention is receiving great attention. In such a network environment, the communication network between object and object as well as between person and person, and person and object is available which leads to the sharing of information between all objects, which is the essential technical element for us to move forward to the information service society of the era of future ubiquitous computing. On this paper, the protocol related to DTMNs in a Sparse M2M environment was applied and the improved routing protocol was applied by using the azimuth and density of the moving node in order to support a more efficient network environment to deliver the message between nodes in an M2M environment. This paper intends to verify the continuity of the study related to efficient routing protocols to provide an efficient network environment in the IoT and IoE (Internet of Everything) environment which is as of recently in the spotlight.

  • 디지털 저작물의 전송환경이 빠른 속도로 바뀜에 따라서 디지털 저작물의 저작권 보호가 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다. DRM(Digital Right Management)은 디지털 저작자나 출판업자, 그리고 인터넷 서비스 제공자들에게 디지털 저작물을 접근하고 사용하는데 있어서 신뢰할수 있는 환경을 만들수 있는 관심있는 분야이다. 본 논문에서는 라이선스 에이전트를 이용하여 기존의 DRM 기법이 가지고 있는 정적인 DRM이나 온라인환경에 제한된 어플리케이션의 단점을 개선한 디지털 저작물의 보호기법에 대하여 제안한다. 제안된 논문은 동적인 DRM기법으로 동적인 요구 제어 기술을 바탕으로 라이선스 에이전트를 이용하여 온라인과 오프라인 환경에서 동시에 모니터링과 추적을 수행한다. 제안된 시스템은 PKI 보안 환경에서 사용자의 행동이나 데이터 보안을 실시간으로 감시하여 불법적인 접근과 사용을 막는다.
