  • 나로우주센터에서는 한국형우주발사체(KSLV-II)의 이륙순간 발사체 주요부분에 대한 초고화질(UHD) 고속영상 획득 및 영상분석을 위해서 발사대 주변과 발사대 타워에 초고화질 고속 디지털카메라 시스템을 설치할 계획이다. 본 논문에서 현재 나로우주센터에서 운용중인 고속 디지털카메라 시스템의 구성과 한국형우주발사체 발사임무 수행을 위한 초고화질(UHD) 고속 디지털카메라 시스템의 구성을 비교하여 기술하였다.

  • This study has based on RTKGPS and DGPS and Digital Video Camera to 3-dimensional position data of road, as a Road Spatial Information. Economic efficiency analysis was applied to road spatial information system built up by four different methods such as conventional surveying, RTK GPS, DGPS, and Digital Video Camera. As a result of analysis, it was shown conventional surveying 100%, it was shown that about 64% in RTKGPS, it was shown that about 63% in DGPS, it was shown that about 37% in Digital Video Camera cost-saving.

  • A series of images were displayed on an OLED display placed within a digital still camera body to characterize the aging of the OLED display in a realistic environment and with an image set that matches actual consumer usage as closely as possible. The aging characteristics of the OLED display were measured and shown to meet the requirements of a digital still camera application by a wide margin.

  • In this paper, we propose a front-mounted single camera based depth estimation and robot localization method. The advantage of front-mounted camera is reduction of redundancy when the robot move. The robot computes depth information of captured image, moving around. And the robot location is corrected by depth information.

  • In order to find out the customer requirements and to develop new products more effectively, the Kano model and QFD(Quality Function Deployment), AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) developed and applied. But, Many companies difficult to select the CTQ(Critical to Quality) of new product. Especially the life cycle of Digital Camera is very short. In this thesis, the Kano model and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) for finding the CTQ(Critical to Quality) for customer satisfaction are suggested. It is explained and discussed with the example of Digital Camera.

  • In case of minimized digital camera and mobile digital camera, it's difficult to get the high quality image by conventional AE(Auto Exposure) algorithm because of restriction of system organization. In this paper, a new algorithm that adopts a target setting, a compensation of feedback delay and a gamma correction, etc, are suggested for improving a noise increase and an output sensitivity decrease due to system minimization. We also suggest a method using fuzzy logic which can decide more effectively the ES(Electric Shutter) value and the AGC(Analog Gain Control) value than conventional system.

Demosaicing Method for Digital Cameras with White-RGB Color Filter Array

  • Demosaicing, or color filter array (CFA) interpolation, estimates missing color channels of raw mosaiced images from a CFA to reproduce full-color images. It is an essential process for single-sensor digital cameras with CFAs. In this paper, a new demosaicing method for digital cameras with Bayer-like W-RGB CFAs is proposed. To preserve the edge structure when reproducing full-color images, we propose an edge direction-adaptive method using color difference estimation between different channels, which can be applied to practical digital camera use. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method in terms of CPSNR, FSIM, and S-CIELAB color distance measures, we perform simulations on sets of mosaiced images captured by an actual prototype digital camera with a Bayer-like W-RGB CFA. The simulation results show that the proposed method demosaics better than a conventional one by approximately +22.4% CPSNR, +0.9% FSIM, and +36.7% S-CIELAB distance.

디지털 카메라 색 특성분석을 통한 sRGB 이미지 생성 (Making of sRGB image through digital camera colorimetric characterization)

  • 고화질 디지털 카메라가 널리 보급되면서 디지털 카메라는 단순한 영상 기록 장치가 아닌 정보 저장 매체로써 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나 디지털 카메라의 분광 감도가 표준 관측자의 색 일치 함수와 다르기 때문에 카메라로는 색이 정확하게 측정될 수 없다. 본 연구는 카메라 이미지를 피사체의 색 정보를 지니고 있는 sRGB 이미지로 변환하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 디지털 카메라의 출력 신호와 CIE 삼자극치간의 변환 행렬은 Macbeth ColorChecker 24색을 기준 색으로 하여 다중 회귀법을 사용하여 구하였다. 변환 행렬을 이용하여 카메라의 출력 신호로부터 피사체의 실제 색을 찾아내어 이상적인 sRGB 표준 모니터에 정확하게 나타낼 수 있는 RGB 데이터로 변환하였다. Kodak DC220 디지털 카메라로 생성된 Macbeth ColorChecker의 sRGB 이미지와 실제 색과의 평균 색차는 2.1 $\Delta$ $E_{ab}$ $^{*}$ 시험 색표로 사용된 IT8 Reference KIT(286색)의 sRGB 이미지와 실제 색과의 평균 색차는 4.6 $\Delta$ $E_{ab}$ $^{*}$ 로 계산되었다. ab/$^{*}$ 로 계산되었다.

Photographic Color Reproduction Based on Color Variation Characteristics of Digital Camera

  • In this paper, a new technique for color reproduction based on color variation characteristics of digital camera under a dim light condition is proposed. Generally, photographers should adjust a camera exposure properly for obtaining an image with real color tone of subjects. Thus, in case of taking a picture under a dim light condition, the exposure time of a camera has to be relatively longer than the one under a bright light condition. Although images with real color tone of the subject are obtained, the images may get blurred due to the shaky hands of photographer holding the camera. In order to avoid the blur effect, an input image is captured from a camera set as a short exposure time under a dim light condition. Then we propose a method to reproduce color tone of the dim input image. To this end, color variation characteristics which represent color variations of a digital camera are first extracted by analyzing the Macbeth color checker images taken under various exposure values. Then, a color reproduction is performed by an estimation based on the color variation characteristics. Experimental results have shown that the proposed method has achieved better performance of color reproduction, compared with existing methods.
