A submerged cultivation of Ganoderma lucidum was carried out in an air-lift fermenter system, and the effects of different pH processes on extracellular branched ${\beta}$-1,3-glucan(EPS) production and mycelial growth(MDW) were investigated. The controlled pH process improved the production of branched ${\beta}$-1,3-glucan and biomass in comparison to the uncontrolled pH process. However, the maximum production of branched ${\beta}$-1,3-glucan were obtained by the bi-staged pH process. From these results, we confirmed that the bi-staged pH process was the most effective for improving the production of branched ${\beta}$-1,3-glucan from submerged culture of G. lucidum.
This study was carried out to understand the physiological properties and the effects of Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen manufactured by three different production process on blood glucose of the mice induced with streptozotocin. Original, filtered and refined Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen manufactured by three different production process were used. The physiochemical properties of original, filtered and refined Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen manufactured by three different production process were compared. Furthermore, the effects of original, filtered and refined Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen were observed in terms of blood glucose, BUN, ALT in the mice induced with streptozotocin. The results were as follows : The range of the pH manufactured by three different production processes was $2.28{\sim}3.17$ Concentration of methanol and phenolic compounds which are related to toxicity were lowest in filtered Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen(L-BCL [E] B) manufactured by using electric furnace at $215{\circ}C$ during 8.10/hour. The blood glucose contents was decreased in the experimental groups compared with the control. The amount of BUN and ALT did not show any differences between control and experimental group.
Modeling the production process is a necessary and essential aspect of the production planning. This paper introduces a theoretical model of the multi-stage production process. A multi-stage production process is regarded as a network of interrelated production activities which use system exogenous inputs of goods in production and the intermediate products transfers between activities to produce final products. Our model is characterized by (1) a few of the production-related assumptions and (2) two types of elements "goods and activities" that are represented in terms of the network terminology. This model is different from the another multi-stage production models, so-called production network models in relation to the production-theoretical concept. It is not based on the concept of the production correspondence and the activity production functions, but the technology model of Koopmans. Koopmans.
In the case of free-form buildings, it is difficult to reuse the form for panel production because the shape and size of the interior and exterior panels of the building are different. In general, it is a free-form concrete panel (FCP) production technology using the existing plywood formwork, and the form is produced in a different shape each time and is discarded after only one use. The production of these disposable forms requires enormous resources, including materials, labor and time. Hence, it is necessary to develop innovative forms that can be reused for sustainable FCP construction. In this study, a technology has been developed that combines 3D Plastering Technique (3DPT) to produce FCP. By applying this technology to free-form building projects, the time and cost required for FCP production can be reduced. However, specific studies on the production process for this technology have not been done yet. Therefore, the objective of this study is a basic study of free-form concrete panel production process using 3D plastering technique.
We investigate pore pressure conditions and reservoir compaction associated with oil and gas production using 3 different permeability models, which are all based on one-dimensional radial flow diffusion model, but differ in considering permeability evolution during production. Model 1 assumes the most simplistic constant and invariable permeability regardless of production; Model 2 considers permeability reduction associated with reservoir compaction only due to pore pressure drawdown during production; Model 3 also considers permeability reduction but due to the effects of both pore pressure drawdown and coupled pore pressure-stress process. We first derive a unified stress-permeability relation that can be used for various sandstones. We then apply this equation to calculate pore pressure and permeability changes in the reservoir due to fluid extraction using the three permeability models. All the three models yield pore pressure profiles in the form of pressure funnel with different amounts of drawdown. Model 1, assuming constant permeability, obviously predicts the least amount of drawdown with pore pressure condition highest among the three models investigated. Model 2 estimates the largest amount of drawdown and lowest pore pressure condition. Model 3 shows slightly higher pore pressure condition than Model 2 because stress-pore pressure coupling process reduces the effective stress increase due to pore pressure depletion. We compare field data of production rate with the results of the three models. While models 1 and 2 respectively overestimates and underestimates the production rate, Model 3 estimates the field data fairly well. Our result affirms that coupling process between stress and pore pressure occurs during production, and that it is important to incorporate the coupling process in the permeability modeling, especially for tight reservoir having low permeability.
This study deals with the productivity improvement on a flow production system with the consideration of line-balancing. In a flow production system, similar product models are produced on a same assembly line, the predefined process order and the limitation of total worker number. The system can be increased the work-in -process(WIP) inventory and the worker's idle time. In this study, the worker assignment model is developed to assign evenly workload of process to each product model in such a manner that each process has the different number of worker. This worker assignment model is the mathematical model that determines worker number in each process such that the idle time of processes is reduced and the utilization of worker is improved. We use a simulation technique to simulate the production line proposed by the mathematical model and apply real production line. With the result of simulation, this study analyzes the propriety of production line and proposes the alternatives of new production line
The stage costume in theater, along with the stage art, is the element that has the biggest visual effect in helping the audience to understand the theater. Nevertheless, in the domestic theater production system, compared with the other public performance products, the stage costume has been rented or purchased due to the lack understanding of the importance of the stage costume and budget problem, and thus the role of the stage costume has been undervalued. Such a phenomenon is more noticeable in the small scale theater. However, in this play White Neutral Nation (Original: Andorra), the production team and the directing team recognized the importance of the costume in the early stage of production, and accordingly lots of efforts, such as staff meetings and budget allocation, were made for the stage costume. As a result, the entire production process of the stage costume could be examined. Recently, performance culture in Korea has made rapid progress and diverse forms of public performances are created and planned. Accordingly, the level of audience has been rising and the interest in the stage costume is also rising. So, it can be said that not only the stage costume but also the production system that makes it are important. This research examined the production process of the stage costume only of the play White Neutral Nation but it is considered necessary to make researches on the production process of the stage costume used for the theater of different themes and public performances of different kinds and to systematize their production process of the stage costume.
The problem of selecting optimal target values for the mean of the quality characteristic of interest for a production process in which an item is sold in one of two market with different profit / cost structures or reworked. Two profit models are constructed which involve four profit / cost components: profit, production, inspection, and rework costs. Assumed that the quality characteristic of interest is normally distributed, methods of finding the most profitable process mean are presented and a numerical example is given.
Following the PART I, which explored the concept of 'Fashion Goods' and 'Basic Goods' in terms of design elements and operational differences, this study, PART II, examined the differences in merchandising process of the two different types of goods. Merchandising process was divided into three stages; planning, production, and presentation. The study adopted a qualitative approach by use of eighteen in-depth interviews with merchandisers and designers with a minimum of six years and a maximum of 15 years of career experience in apparel industry. According to the type of goods, different merchandising practices were found. Especially material and production order/reorder practices were noteworthy. Fashion goods had high possibility of using high-quality materials sourced abroad and few of them were reordered. In other words, reorder practices were established for basic goods only; replenishment was actively implemented for higher inventory turn of basic goods; usually materials and production for basic goods were sourced domestically. In conclusion, based on the differences, more refined merchandising strategies of apparel companies and consistent theory building in this field are required for fashion and basic goods respectively.

Recently, the use of Unreal Engine for animation production is increasing. In this situation, Unreal Engine's 'MetaHuman Creator' helps make it easier to apply realistic characters to animation. In this regard, we tried to produce animations using 'MetaHuman' and verify the effectiveness and differences from the animation production process using only Maya software. To increase the efficiency of the production process, the animation process was made with Maya software. We tried to import animation data from Unreal Engine and go through the process of making animations, and try to find out if there are any problems. And we tried to compare animations made with realistic 'MetaHuman' characters and animation works using cartoon-type characters. The use of the same camera lens in realistic character animations and cartoon character animations produced based on the same scenario was judged to be the cause of the lack of realistic animation screen composition. The analysis revealed that a different approach from the existing animation camera lens selection is required for the selection of the camera lens in the production of realistic animation.
