The influence of material properties and process parameters on the strain distribution of stamping parts was studied by finite element method. For the parametric study, the investigation of variation of material properties was carried out with tensile test for a dozens of different steel sheets. The friction test for each surface and lubricants conditions are also carried out because the frictional characteristic is important parameter fur sheet metal forming. The geometry of stamping parts was measured by 3D scanner to build the tool model fer the FE analysis. As a result of analysis the major process parameter fer each automotive parts was investigated.

Today, customer-requirements are getting various, so manufacturing companies face many problems to reflect them with its' new product development or product variety. As the product model managed by companies is more increasing, there might be much more selection conditions and many kinds of parts requited for it. With those reasons, it demands many different kinds of BOM information for new product development and product variety. Under the those manufacturing environment, we can realize that lots of current products have shared many design property and common parts with those of old version. This thesis present these new products for common characteries are classified design property and common parts with those of old version. with product family and it define with modelling language which is Generic BOM. The suggested prototype programmed with Power Builder 6.0 and Ms-SQL is to help companies manage common parts and develop new product effectively by classifying product family's basic characteries with basic and changable levels.

In this work, we analyze the relationship between the accumulated mileage of hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) and the data provided from vehicle parts. Data were collected while traveling over 70,000 Km in various paths. The data collected in seconds are aggregated for 10 minutes and characterized in terms of centrality, variability, normality, and so on. We examined whether the statistical properties of vehicle parts are different for each cumulative mileage interval of a hybrid car. When the cumulative mileage interval is categorized into =< 30,000, <= 50,000, and >50,000, the statistical properties are classified by the mileage interval as 82.3% accuracy. This indicates that if the data of the vehicle parts is collected by operating the hybrid vehicle for 10 minutes, the cumulative mileage interval of the vehicle can be estimated. This makes it possible to detect the abnormality of the vehicle part relative to the accumulated mileage. It can be used to detect abnormal aging of vehicle parts and to inform maintenance necessity.

This paper discusses the system layout of flexible manufacturing system. A definition of flexible manufacturing system has not been necessarily classified yet. An understanding, and an objective of its application are different in a variety of industries. It could be treated as the system adopting flexble-Automation and FMS has been improving as a form of parts maching system. It was thought that the problems of machining function and transfer function were important. This paper introduces parts family and machine groups to increase machining function and transfer function. Parts family and machine tool groups were made up by means of multidimensional dizitizing analysis. A new software algorithm for forming parts family and machine groups has been proposed. Flexible manufacturing system was layout according to the FMS transfer function classification.
Effect of light quality on plant temperatures at joining parts of grafted watermelon seedlings was investigated using a thermal imaging system in this study. Plant temperatures at joining parts lowered than those at stem region during graft-taking. However, difference in plant temperatures at joining parts and at stem region decreased by days after graft-taking. Plant temperatures of grafted seedlings graft-taken under white, blue, red, and blue + red fluorescent lamps repeatedly fluctuated high at photoperiod and low at dark period. Considering the variation of plant temperatures at joining pa퍼5, the illumination of blue and red light as well as white light will be effective for grafting of grafted watermelon seedlings. It is recommended that air temperature around grafted seedlings should be maintained at 27 to $29^{\circ}C$ for enhancing the physiological reaction of callus and for the smooth joining of scion and rootstock.
Zephyranthes candida, Narcissus pseudonarcissus and Crinum asiaticum pollen were placed near their pistil parts respectively on agar cultural media(microslides) containing 10% sucrose and 100mg/l botic acid plus 1% agar with or without calcium and some other calciumsupporting inorganic salts. If fresh pistils (100% moisture) were used pollen grew toward their pistil parts, showing "positive" tropism. This was also true when combinations among three different species were made. Pollen tubes grew away from the pistils if they were dried (below 10% moisture), showing "negative" tropism. Pollen could not show any tropic growth and thus grew at random of all directions if the pistil parts were incompletely dried (approximately 50% moisture). The similar tropic responses of pollen-tube growth with the three species could be demonstrated with etiehr wet or dried tooth-pick segments. Calcium jons in the basic medium merely promated pollen-tube growth and so either "positive" or "negative" tropism became rather distinctive, but they were not tropically active. Pollen tubes grow toward pistil parts with more moisture content and seem to be hydrotropically sensitive. This was assumed due to the cohesive force existing in water molecules.esive force existing in water molecules.
This paper deals with the application and effects of MES for H automobile plant in China. There existed the production planning and the different work order in PL painting plant, but we can simultaneously prepare the painting parts and parts delivery and assembly according to painting color by introducing MES. We can respond the change of production planning and operate integratively the PL painting, parts storage and parts delivery and then we can results in reasonable logistics. We obtained the exact production information, correct work order, precise delivery order. We obtained not only the improvement of logistics but also the reduction of inventory.

The usage of electric-powered components consisting of several electrical and mechanical parts is continuously increasing in automobiles. Therefore, continuous assessment of the reliability and quality of these electric-powered parts is crucial. In this study, a noise and vibration measurement system for testing and evaluating the different electric-powered parts of automobiles was designed. Further, an FFT analysis was performed on some electric-powered steering assembly test equipment. In the FFT analysis of the noise and vibration signals for each essential fault part, the vibration FFT analysis was significantly compared with the noise analysis. The results showed that the vibration FFT analysis was more effective in determining the reliability and quality of the electric-powered parts.

In the parts including a vehicle, standard and contents are different according to type of automobile. Although the parts are same, the quality and requirement all are different according to vehicle production version. Also the business is shared at each department in a production line. So if a part is changed, each team or the department must recognize information which is changed. But currently if the event can occur at like this each department, because of parts management through handwork, the unification of information is difficult. Therefore in this paper, we applied POP systems at the automobile part enterprise and constructed POP based the automobile part productive integrated management system. This system supported productive information from mechanical, equipment, worker, and products in real-time and data update also is processed automatically. When this system is introduced, work time and cost remarkably will be reduced.
This study investigated several anatomical characteristics of Paulownia tomentosa roots. The root wood was separated into three parts from stem base (top, middle, and base) at different positions below ground. Qualitative anatomical data suggested that the growth rings in earlywood and latewood were structurally different. Furthermore, the root wood vessels were found having 2 to 3 radial multiples and they were appeared in the form of clusters. In addition, some sheath cells and septate axial parenchyma were observed. Regarding the quantitative anatomical characteristics, vessel and ray numbers per $mm^2$, as well as ray width and height differed significantly among the top, middle, and base rood wood parts. However, there were no significant differences in vessel diameters, cell wall thickness, and width and length of wood fibers among those parts. The crystallinity of the root top part was slightly higher than that of the middle and base parts. Furthermore, the vessel numbers, ray numbers, and ray width and height in the near pith (NP) area were higher compared to those in the near bark (NB) area. However, the fiber width and fiber length at NP were lower than those at NB. Overall, this study demonstrated some significant differences in the anatomical characteristics of the top, middle, and base parts of root wood from Paulownia tomentosa.
