So many terms of electrical engineering are nationalized words and Japanese words written in Chinese characters because electrical engineering is introduced from foreign countries. Many students who are not familiar to Chinese characters are difficult to study with this terms in the first step of electrical engineering. In this study, the systematic compilation method of electrical dictionaries is proposed, which is based on the method of the standard Korean dictionary. Through this method. more systematic Korean electrical dictionaries will be compiled.

This paper proposes a method for building a transliteration dictionary, which is based on pronouncing information extracted from two kinds of existing dictionaries. Also, it proposes a method for transforming the pronouncing information into Korean translitered words. To express the pronouncing information, we define Phoman code system. In order to avoid phonetic estimation process of English words which is the most important problem, the proposed method uses the pronouncing information extracted from the existing dictionaries. Therefore, unlike previous approaches, the proposed method does not need any incomplete phonetic estimation process so that it can produce accurate transliteration results. The proposed method has been fully implemented.

This study is about modeling pronunciation dictionary necessary for PLU(phoneme like unit) level word recognition. The recognition of nonnative speakers' pronunciation enables an automatic diagnosis and an error detection which are the core of English pronunciation tutoring system. The above system needs two pronunciation dictionaries. One is for representing standard English pronunciation. The other is for representing Korean speakers' English Pronunciation. Both dictionaries are integrated to generate pronunciation networks for variants.

인터넷의 급속한 성장에 따라 전자사전에 대한 트랜잭션 처리를 기반으로 하는 상용 응용 소프트웨어의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 그 전형적인 예로서 인터넷 검색엔진을 들을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 고성능 전자사전의 구축을 위한 새로운 접근방법을 제시한다 전자사전의 메모리 구현에 있어 트라이 데이터 구조를 사용하는 기존의 방식과는 달리, 본 논문에서 제시하는 방식은 다차원 이진트리 구조를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 다차원 이진트리 기반의 전자사전이 ED-MBT(Electronic Dictionary based on Multidimensional Binary Tree)의 구현 내용과 실용적인 응용 소프트웨어에서 ED-MBT가 갖는 성능향상에 관한 세부적인 분석 결과를 제시한다.

지금까지 전문용어를 자동으로 추출 (Automatic Term Recognition: ATR)하기 위한 많은 연구들이 있어 왔다. 이들 연구들은 주로 문서 내의 용어의 빈도수와 같은 단순한 통계정보를 이용하여 전문용어를 추출하였다. 하지만 전문분야의 기계가독형 사전의 구축으로 인하여 전문용어를 추출하는 데 있어 전문분야 사전의 사용이 가능하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기계가독형 전문분야 사전들을 이용하여 사전 간의 계층관계를 구축하고 이를 이용하여 전문용어를 추출하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 전문용어 사전에서 나타나지 않는 전문용어를 추출하기 위하여 용어의 빈도수, 외래어 및 외국어, 내포관계 등을 포함한 통계기법을 이용한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법은 기존의 방법에 비해 좋은 성능을 나타내었다.

사무자동화의 필요성이 증가함에 따라 많은 응용 프로그램이 개발되고 있으며, 전자사전은 이러한 사무용 프로그램의 주요 구성요소 중 하나이다. 효율적인 전자사전은 빠른 검색을 지원해야 하며, 타 사전과 데이터 교환을 통해 사어 및 신조어에 대처할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 전자 사전 프로그램 자체의 재사용의 고려하여 전자 사전 프로그램 구축비용 및 시간을 절감할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 사전 내부 데이터 표현 형식을 정의하여 정의된 표현 방식에 기초한 타 전자 사전 데이터 교환을 가능하게 하는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 재사용 및 호환성을 향상시키기 위하여 사전 구조를 시스템 사전 컴포넌트와 사용자 사전 컴포넌트로 나누어 구현하여 차후 바이너리 단위로의 재사용을 가능하게 하였다. 컴포넌트화로 인한 검색속도 저하 가능성은 트라이 및 B 트리 인덱스 구조를 통하여 효과적으로 방지하였다.

본 논문은 구조화된 체크리스트로부터 임베디드 시스템 테스팅을 위한 테스트 스크립트를 쉽게 생성할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 체크리스트를 이벤트(Event), 컴포넌트(Component), 입력 명령어(Command) 사전을 기반으로 구성하고, 사전으로부터 계층적으로 테스트 스크립트를 생성한다. 계층 구조로 임베디드 시스템의 물리적 입력 계층이 상위 계층의 컴포넌트 및 이벤트 계층에서 추상화되어 복잡한 시스템 입력 정보를 사용하지 않고도 테스트 스크립트를 생성할 수 있다. 비슷한 종류의 입출력 정보를 가지는 임베디드 시스템을 테스트하기 위한 테스트 스크립트 생성은 재사용성이 높은 사전을 이용하여 매우 쉽게 할 수 있다. 제안하는 방법의 유용성은 실험을 통해 보인다.

Korean Text to Sign Language Traslator could be applied to learn letters for both the deaf and hard-of-hearing people, and to have a conversation with normal people. This paper describes some useful dictionaries for developing korean text to sign language translator; Base sign language dictionary, Compound sign language dictionary, and Resemble sign language dictionary. As korean sign language is composed entirely of about 6,000 words, the additional dictionaries are required for matching them to korean written language. We design base sign language dictionary which was composed of basic symbols and moving picture of korean sign language, and propose the definition of compound isng language dictionary which was composed of symbols of base sing language. In addition, resemble sign language dictionary offer sign symbols and letters which is used same meaning in conversation. By using these methods, we could search quickly sign language during korean text to sign language translating process, and save storage space. We could also solve the lack of sign language words by using them, which are appeared on translating process.
