환경친화적 주생활 교육을 위한 쟁점중심 교수.학습 과정안 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Issue-Centered Teaching.Learning Process Plan for Environment-Friendly Housing Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 중학교 기술 가정과 주생활 영역 교육에서 환경친화적 주생활 내용을 쟁점중심 수업으로 접근하는 교수 학습 과정안을 개발하고 이를 실제 수업에 적용하는 것이다. 이를 위해 ADDIE 교수설계 모형에 따라 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가 5단계를 거쳐 연구를 진행하였다. 2008년 7월 경기도 용인 G중학교 3학년 7학급(222명)에 2차시씩 적용하였다. 2시간 수업을 위해 개발한 교수 학습 과정안은 2개로, 1차시에서는 '환경친화적 주생활이란?', 2차시에서는 '주택가 주차난의 환경친화적 해결 방법은 무엇일까?'를 쟁점주제로 하였다. 개발한 교수 학습 자료는 읽기 자료 4개, 사진과 그림 자료 12개, 동영상 자료 5개이며, 교수 학습 활동지는 7개이다. 교수 학습 과정은 6단계로 쟁점제기, 용어정의, 쟁점의 성격 명료화, 다양한 관점 연구와 분석, 대안 제시 및 평가, 해결책 탐구 및 실천으로 구성하였다. 주된 교수 학습 방법은 찬반 논쟁 협동학습(PRO-CON)으로 이를 배심원 토론 기법으로 적용하였다. 평가는 학생용 사전 사후 평가지, 교수 학습 활동지, 연구자 관찰, 수업 장면을 촬영한 영상자료 분석을 통해 양적 질적 측면으로 접근하였다. 연구 결과를 사전 사후 차이 분석, 수업활동지 분석, 사후 교수 학습활동 평가 세 측면에서 살펴본 결과, 환경관점은 교수 학습 과정안 적용 전과 후 모두 환경관리주의 관점보다 근본생태주의와 사회생태주의 관점 성향이 현저하게 높았으며 사전사후 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 환경친화적 주생활 실천의사는 사전보다 사후에 유의하고 더 높게 나타나 이 수업의 효과가 있었다고 볼 수 있다. 실험 수업 후 교수 학습 내용, 방법, 목표인식, 수업전개 4가지 측면에 대한 평가는 대체로 긍정적으로 학습내용의 새로운 정도, 보조 자료의 다양성, 실생활 필요도, 상호협동성, 수업 만족도가 매우 높았다. 대체로 여학생이 남학생보다, 자신이나 가족의 환경관심이 클수록 수업내용과 목표를 더 긍정적으로 평가하였다. 교수 학습방법인 찬반논쟁 협동 학습(PRO-CON)과 배심원 토론 방식에 대해서 환경친화적 주생활 내용에 적합한 방법이었으며 학생의 자발적 참여를 유도하는 데 긍정적이었다고 평가하였다. 연구 결과를 통해 환경친화적 주생활 교육은 가정생활뿐만 아니라 사회 전반에 영향을 주는 실천적인 교과교육 내용이며, 이를 쟁점중심 수업으로 접근하는 것이 효과적인 교수 학습 방법 중 하나라는 것으로 규명되었다. 그러나 수업 시수 부족으로 학생들의 참여가 충분히 이루어지지 못한 점과 토론 활동에서 나타난 대표 토론자 변인 차이를 최소로 하는 방법을 모색해야 할 것이다.

2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 독서교육의 발전 방향 모색 - 교과서 수록 읽기자료를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development Direction of Reading Education in the 2015 Revised Curriculum)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정으로 개발된 고등학교 교과서의 읽기자료 특성을 조사하여 향후 독서교육 발전 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국어, 수학, 영어, 통합과학, 통합사회 주요 교과를 대상으로 고등학교 교과서의 읽기자료를 분석하였고, 읽기자료의 분석 기준은 주제 유형, 목적, 학생 활동이었다. 연구 결과, 고등학교 통합사회와 통합과학 교과서에는 인간, 자유, 문화, 환경, 지구 등 다양한 주제의 읽기자료가 각 단원의 개념과 연관되어 제시되고 있었다. 특히 국어교과는 한단원에만 '한 학기에 한권의 책 읽기'라는 단원이 신설되어 있었다. 그러나 대부분 읽기자료가 효과적인 독서 전략이나 독서 방향에 대한 안내가 없으며, 읽기자료의 양이 부족하고 확장적 독서를 위한 자료나 정보가 부족함을 알 수 있었다. 교과서의 읽기자료가 각 단원의 학습 내용을 단순하게 보충하거나 개념 이해를 위한 단편적인 단서로만 제시되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 교과의 읽기자료 제시가 나열식으로 단순하게 전개되어 있으며, 읽기자료가 학생들의 독서 흥미, 독서의 내면화 그리고 독서 확장을 위한 도구로는 미흡함을 알 수 있었다. 본 논문은 고등학교 교과서의 확장을 위한 읽기자료의 보조 자료를 제안하고, 교과서 구성 측면과 수업 방법 측면에 대한 제안을 통해 교과서와 독서교육의 발전적 관계를 모색해보았다.

웹기반 학습을 위한 사회과 지역화 학습자료 개발과 활용 (A Development and Application of Learning Materials about the Regional Autonomy in the Social Studies For Web Based Instruction)

  • 일반적으로 웹기반 수업이 전 교과에 걸쳐 전개되고 있는 바, 다양한 WBI 자료를 교과특질에 맞게 특성화하는 일 또한 간과해서는 안 되는 중요한 수업현장의 과제이다. 따라서 웹기반 지역화 학습자료 개발이라는 당면과제를 사회과에서 해결하고자 하는 시도로써 본 연구를 추진하게 되었다. 전국 각 지역마다 '사회탐구'라는 별책교재를 개발하여 Text위주의 지역화 학습을 지도하고 있는데 이를 개선하는 노력으로 WBI 지역화 자료개발 모델을 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 우리고장의 생활모습 등의 다양한 내용을 WBI 자료화하여 학교 홈페이지에 올려 활용 지도하였다. 그 결과 Text위주의 교재감각에서 벗어나 역동적인 멀티미디어 환경인 지역화 웹페이지를 만남으로서 학생들의 자기 주도적 학습 능력 및 문제해결 능력이 신장되었다.

창의력 계발을 위한 자연과 교수.학습 자료 개발 -1. 창의력 교육의 실태조사- (Development of Elementary School Science Instructional Program for Nurturing Creativity - 1. Survey of the Status in Creativity Education -)

  • 이 연구의 본래적 목적은 창의력 계발을 위한 자연과의 교수 학습 자료를 개발하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 먼저, 서울, 인천, 시골의 3개 지역에 있는 5, 6 학년 교사(122명)와 학생(828명)들을 대상으로 창의력 교육에 대한 실태를 설문 조사하였다. 교사를 대상으로 한 설문지는 25문항으로 구성되어 있고, 학생을 대상으로 한 설문지는 20문항으로 구성하였다. 설문의 결과는 다음과 갇다. 대부분의 초등학교 교사는 창의력 교육의 필요성을 인정하고 있지만 주로 교과서에 의존하여 수업을 하고 있었다. 확산적 사고나 창의적인 과학활동의 부족으로 인해 초등학교 자연과에서 창의력 계발이 잘 이루어지지 않고 있었다. 전뇌학습을 하기 위한 교수-학습 자료가 부족하였으며, 실험을 하지 않는 경우 학생들은 VCR자료나 TP자료를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학생들은 시청각 자료인 VCR자료가 학습 내용 전달에 가장 효과적이고 그 다음으로는 학습지라고 생각하였다. 이와 더불어 수업시 재미있는 실험만 열심히 한다는 학생이 많았으며, 자연 시간에 실험한 결과는 대부분 '실험 관찰'에 기록하고 있었는데, 학생들은 이렇게 기록하는 방법이 창의적인 아이디어를 발상하는 데는 거의 도움이 되지 않는다고 하였다. 학생들은 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 다양한 활동(심상활동, 실험, 그리기, 상상하기, 게임, 퀴즈 등)과 자료를 제공하고, 흥미를 가지고 탐구할 수 있는 소재를 제공하는 활동지를 원하고 있었다. 이러한 설문 결과를 검토할 때, 창의력 계발을 위한 활동지를 제작할 때 우선적으로 고려할 사항은 좌우뇌의 기능을 균형있게 활용할 수 있도록 활동 중심으로 개발하여야 한다는 점이다.

귀산촌 교육 개선을 위한 교육 참가자 인식 특성 분석 - 시니어 산촌학교 참가자를 대상으로 - (A Study on the Characteristics of Participants' Perception for Improvement of Education on Return to Mountain Village - In the Case of the Participants in Senior Mountain Village School -)

  • The present study aimed to examine participants' perception regarding improvements in education for their return to a mountain village, based on "satisfaction, motivation's achievement, and effectiveness." Survey was conducted with 80 participants in 2017, of which 64 valid responses were used for statistical analysis. SPSS 21.0 program was used to conduct descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings were that a higher level of "satisfaction regarding the instructor and teaching materials" resulted in a higher level of motivation's achievement of technology skills, social skills and effectiveness in interpersonal exchange. The findings also revealed that if "the content of education" were satisfactory, there was effective self development. In addition, the higher the motivation's achievement of social skill, the higher the perception in effectiveness of self development and interpersonal exchange. The study can contribute to provide baseline data for improvement of education on return of people to their mountain villages, which are collaborating with civic groups, governments, research institutions and enterprises.

경북지역 수산계 고등학교 교사의 수산업 의식 분석에 의한 학교 발전 방안 모색 (The Development Direction of the Fishehes Highschool based on Fishery Consciousness by Teachers in Kyungbuk Province)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate of fishery consciousness for fisheries high school teachers. The data was collected from 61 fisheries high school teachers in Kyungbuk Province. The treatment of materials are classified by level of academic careers, teaching careers. This research evaluated percentage to the frequency of reponses to each question and carried out $\chi^2$ - test, etc. The statistically significant level accounted for p<.05 and made use of SPSS10.0. The conclusion of the study were as follows: Strategic development of fisheries high school on fishery consciousness need to program with fishery characteristic, to promote maritime affairs had better systematic publicity activities. On educational system policy need to keep consistency of occupational education policy, change of titles of school and reconstruction of department, expand of carrier guidance direction. On high self-conceit of Hsheries high school teachers need to many discussion be based program of school itself and academic society. And director and vice-principle station region of islands, etc.

지역사회간호학회 40년사 (Forty Years' Development of the Korean Academy of Community Health Nursing)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted in commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Korean Academy of Community Health Nursing [KACHN]. Methods: Primary and secondary sources were collected and analyzed to show changes that KACHN has experienced. Results: In the 1970s it made the annual meeting regular and began research presentation. In the1980s regular symposiums were activated and as a result the academy could publish its own journal from 1989. In the 1990s the boards were selected from locals by turns and lots of papers and teaching materials were produced from collaborate researches of the members. In the 2000s, the journal was selected by the National Research Foundation in Korea and the academy began regular Korea-Japan Community Health Nursing Conference and hosted the 5th ICCHNR. Conclusion: In spite of great development, KACHN has new challenges. The number of members has increased so much that there are a few academies specialized in some fields of community health nursing. They have made the members' interest and loyalty weaker than during the pioneer days. KACHN should take the new role as a leader of international community health nursing research as well as the old role as a leader of Korean community health nursing research.

중등교사가 인식하는 유능한 교사의 자질 (The Qualities of an Effective Teacher Recognized by Secondary Teachers)

  • This study examined the qualities of an effective teacher needed to accomplish educational reform successfully and prepare for a rapidly changing knowledge-based society. To achieve the purpose of the study, the following specific questions were looked into; (1) knowledge, skills, attitude of an effective teacher. (2) a proposal for staff development programs to improve the effectiveness of teachers. (3) a proposal to support teachers' efforts to improve their effectiveness. (4) the factors inhibiting the improvement of teachers' effectiveness. In this study, 'in-depth interview' was used for data collection because the study deals with the "subjective consciousness" of teachers, and qualitative research methods are useful to such a case. The research was done on teachers from secondary schools in Pusan City. According to the teachers interviewed, an effective teacher needed in the new age has such knowledge, skills, and attitude as; (1) knowledge in their major, general culture and common sense, psychology of educational counselling, social science, and knowledge and information related to curriculum. (2) effective instruction skills, skills to guide student behavior, skills related to administrative clerical work, using the computers, extra curriculum activities, educational evaluation, using teaching materials, developing educational programs, and good communication skills. (3) attitude relevant to willingness to understand and converse with students at their cognitive level, positive expectations and concern toward students, democratic problem solving, continuous self-study and development, thoroughgoing mission and professionalism, will for educational reform and innovation, neat appearance and refined language, and successful interpersonal relationships. The teachers also said that the current staff development system, as a program to provide necessary qualities for teachers, has improved in the last 3 years through diverse curriculum and systematic programs. However, due to the problematic promotion system, the staff development program has turned into just a 'point collecting' game from the role of in-service training program; teachers take training courses as the means just collecting points for promotion purpose. Factors inhibiting the improvement of teachers are (1) overload of formal paperwork over emphasizing outcome, (2) mannerism of teachers not perceiving their lack of professionalism, (3) the general attitude in the teaching profession resisting change and reform, (4) supervisory activities lacking rigid regulation, (5) research just as the means of point-collection only for promotion, and (6) staff development programs lacking efficiency. These factors, interacting each other, inhibited the improvement of teachers.

사춘기 청소년의 성교육 활성화를 위한 인터넷기반 교수-학습 프로그램의 내용설계 및 평가도구 개발 (Design and Evaluation of the Program on the Internet for Sexuality Education of Adolescences)

  • Sexuality education in the period of adolescents need much care and attention. The programs of sexual education through the Internet are excellent resources for adolescents to gain the information related to their sexual health. And systematic program which is necessary for adolescents to manage their sexual health has been rarely found in Korea. The purpose of this study was to offer valuable database for program design and evaluation on sexual education of middle school students through the Internet. Needs assessment for the information of sexual education on the internet among middle school students were carried out. A questionnaire survey was conducted with respondents of 602 middle school students from January to March in 2002. In the sexual counseling center for middle school students, counseling cases through internet were analyzed and evaluated from October, 2001 to September, 2002, We have selected 16 Sexual educational websites in Seoul confirmed Korean Educational Human Resource. Contents which was illustrated in 16 sexual educational websites were analyzed and evaluated by 12 sexual counselors. Design and evaluation of the program on the internet for sexuality education of adolescences was conducted on the basis of this study results by middle school expert teachers, sexual counselors, sexuality education professionals. Data was statistically analyzed using dBSTAT 4.0 for Windows. The extent and phase of the teaching-learning program of the sexuality education on the internet was seen as follows : 1. We evaluated to need for sexuality education on the internet by middle school student. 2. We assessed the properness of sexuality education curriculum on the internet frequently used by middle school students. 3. We designed teaching strategy and learning program for sexuality education of the middle school students. 4. We developed the assessment method for the teaching-learning program of the sexuality education in adolescences on the internet. Middle school students responded that sexual education through Internet is needed in the order of programs related to acquaintances with opposite sex, Sexual culture and ethics, Sexual health, Reproductive health structure and development, Marriage and family, Psychology of Sexuality, Pregnancy and birth. In the internet counseling, cases on the 'reproductive health structure and development' was ranked as the top. In short we have found the most needs as follows; Meaning of the marriage life and having family, Sexes and Love, Human relation, Sexual Culture.We recommend as follows on the basis of this study results: 1. It is necessary for sexuality education program on the internet to specify according to age and target the specific individual needs. 2. Sexual educators have to employ various educational materials such as flash, cartoon, multimedia in order to provide effective sexuality education. 3. Internet based sex education need to be evaluated regularly through reassessment of the effectiveness of sexuality education for content quality and richness.

간호학사 편입학과정(RN-BSN)생들의 특성 및 교육만족도 조사 (A Study on RN Students′ Education Satisfaction Toward RN-to-BSN Programs)

  • This study was undertaken to investigate the general characteristics of students, which include the degree of satisfaction, motives of admission, the recognition of advantages and disadvantages, opinion of students on self-directed learning, and planning and anticipatory effects after graduation. Data was collected through a questionnaire survey over a period of four months, from May 1997 to August 1997. The subjects used for this study consisted of 322 RN students sampled from six RN-to-BSN programs in Korea using the census sampling method. Statistical methods employed for this study included discriptive statistics, M ANOVA, and F-test. The results of the study are as follows 1. The RN students' motives of admission to RN-to-BSN programs were ‘for personal advancement’, ‘to earn a BSN degree’, and ‘for professional development’ in this order. 2. The RN students' responses to the advantages of RN-to-BSN programs were ‘acquisition of new knowledge and a BSN degree’ and ‘to gain professional thinking and a broader view’, while as the disadvantages of RN-to-BSN programs were ‘geographical isolation of institutions’, ‘limitation of information’, and ‘underdeveloped school environments’ in this order. 3. The survey based on opinions toward self-directed learning showed that there was a need of detailed guidelines for self-directed learning. Most agreed that it was a very effective learning method for a RN student, and the self-directed learning method Increases motives for learning. 4. The students' anticipatory effect after graduation were ‘self-achievement’, ‘development of professional skills’, and ‘admission to post-graduate school or programs to study abroad’. 5. The students were very satisfied with the quality of faculty members, and satisfied with the quality of lectures and teaching. However, students were unsatisfied with rented lecture rooms, and very unsatisfied with self-directed learning methods. 6. School nurses showed higher statistical significances in the need for teaching material and anticipatory effect after graduation than other RN students working in hospitals and public health agencies. Also, school nurses, public health nurses, and industry nurses showed higher statistical significances in motives of admission than RN students working in hospitals. Further more, staff nurses, school nurses, and industry nurses showed higher levels of satisfaction toward a RN-to-BSN programs than nurses in higher positions, such as administrators or directors of nursing. 7 City residents were more satisfied with RN-to-BSN programs than rural residents. Otherwise, the rural residents had higher motives for admission, a bigger need for teaching materials, and recognition of the disadvantages of RN-to-BSN programs than city residents. Finally, RN students who earned below a monthly income of ₩1,000,000 showed higher motivation for admission than those who earned more than ₩1,000,000.
