본 연구는 서구 중심의 개발담론에 내재한 문제점을 분석하고, 지속가능한 개발로서 포스트개발의 방향을 모색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이 연구는 개발담론의 형성과 변화를 역사적 과정을 통해 살펴보았다. 개발은 후진성을 극복한다는 의미로 사용되었고, 글로벌 남부는 글로벌 북부의 개발모델이 필요한 곳으로 주변화 되었다. 국가주도 개발담론(케인스주의 개발담론)에서는 산업화를 통한 성장이 개발의 핵심이었고, 글로벌 남부는 저개발을 극복하는 것이 최고의 목표였다. 신자유주의 개발담론에서는 시장원리에 따른 경쟁이 개발을 위한 가장 효율적인 선택으로 인식되었다. 하지만 신자유주의 개발담론은 권력의 집중과 계층 간 불균형을 야기한다고 비판을 받게 되었고, 성장보다는 분배와 삶의 가치를 강조하는 포스트개발 논의가 대두되었다. 본 연구는 포스트개발의 방향을 공정무역과 윤리적 소비를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 하지만, 공정무역과 윤리적 소비 담론은 신자유주의 개발담론에 포섭되는 한계를 보이고 있다. 따라서 향후 포스트개발은 시장과 자본에 의한 권력으로부터 벗어나고 재분배를 지향하는 개발이 되어야 할 것이다.

With the increasing media representation of aging as negative and abnormal, anti-aging products and discourses are spreading to younger generations. This paper analyzes the anti-aging discourse in a fashion magazine targeted towards women in their 20s. It quantitatively analyzes the historical development of the antiaging industry and discourses from 1994 to 2014 in the magazine "$C{\acute{e}}ci$". It also analyzes the patterns of signification associated with aging in the magazine through the use of critical discourse analysis. This paper identifies five major discourses -"segmentation of the definitions of youthful appearance", "scientific and medical discourse", "self-care discourse", "prevention of aging", and "social values of youthful appearances". The paper finds that the construction of anti-aging discourses towards women in their 20s is heavily influenced by the close link between the anti-aging industry and the fashion media. It also confirms the ideology of self-development though a rigorous appearance-management that is strongly imposed on Korean women and subsequently reproduced in an anti-aging discourse towards women in their 20s.

본 연구는 서울숲에 대한 일반인들의 일상적이고 구체적인 인식 및 만족도를 파악하기 위해, 이용자의 실질적인 의견을 파악할 수 있는 블로그(blog)를 통해 서울숲을 둘러싸고 펼쳐지는 일반인의 미시담론을 분석하였다. 블로그를 매개로 한 일반인의 미시담론 형성 배경과 요인 등을 해석하기 위해 질적 연구법을 선택하였으며, 그 중에서도 담론분석을 위주로 하여 블로그에 게시된 미시담론의 내용과 그 형성 배경을 시계열적으로 분석함으로써, 서울숲에 대한 일반인의 구체적인 인식을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서울숲이 조성된 지 얼마 되지 않은 초기에는 서울숲 조성과 관련된 주체나 결과물에 대한 평가를 하면서 설계가나 서울시 등을 직접적으로 언급하는 사회적 담론이 형성되었다. 둘째, 형성기의 서울숲 이용자들 사이에서는 서울숲을 비교적 관점에서 평가 및 서술하면서 긍정 및 부정적 장소감이 복합적으로 드러나는 담론이 형성되었다. 셋째, 조성된 지 4~5년 후인 전개기에 게시된 블로그에서는 주로 공원의 시설 및 프로그램 등을 이용하고 난 후의 이용적 담론이 형성되어 있었으며, 마지막으로 성숙기에 들어서는 이용자들이 그들만의 언어로 서울숲을 해석한 장소적 담론이 주가 됨을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 일반인의 미시담론들을 통해 실제 이용 주체가 각 시기별로 서울숲에 대해 어떠한 생각을 갖고 있었는지 그 담론적 구조를 밝혀내고자 하였다. 일상적이고 구체적인 미시담론에는 공원을 이용하는 개별 주체들이 생산하는 상호작용, 경험, 이야기 등이 포함되어 있었고, 이들의 고찰을 통해 일반인 이용자가 장소를 어떻게 재현하고, 이해하는지를 파악할 수 있다는 점에서 그 의미를 발견하였다.

Most grading scales of Korean language proficiency tests are based on existing grading scales that are not empirically verified. The purpose of this study is to develop an empirically verified scale descriptor. The 'Performance data-driven approach' that is suggested by Fulcher (1987) was used to develop the detailed description of characteristics for each level of performance. This study is focused on the functional phase of speech samples analysis (coding data) to create explanatory categories of discourse skills into which individual observations of speech phenomena can be scored. The speech samples that were collected through this study demonstrated stages of speech that can be a foundation of a grading scale. The data used in the study was collected from 23 native speakers of Korean. Speech samples were recorded from simulated speaking tests using the 'REFUSAL' task, and transcribed for analysis. The transcript was analyzed using discourse analysis. The result showed that the 'REFUSAL' task needs to go through four functional phases in actual communication. Furthermore, this study found specific and detailed explanatory categories of discourse competence based on the actual native speaker's speech data. Such findings are expected to contribute to the development of more valid and reliable speaking assessment.

The purpose of this study is to explains consumers' medical discourse embedded in the consumption of oriental medicine and health functional foods. Despite the fact that both of oriental medicine and western medicine is legally accepted, people tend to recognize that accurate diagnosis is possible only in the latter. As the discourse that oriental medicine, compared with western medicine, has an auxiliary position is widely spreaded, the rivalry between herbal medicine and health functional foods come to be formed. And it led to a close correlation between the decrease of herbal medicine consumption and the growth of health supplement market. Herbal medicine is compared to red ginseng, one of the representative health supplement. Negative notion such as using an Asian herb from China and side effect of hepatotoxicity influences herbal medicine consumption. This study argues two conclusion. First, the correlation between the consumption of herbal medicine and that of health functional foods results from the discourse of scientific reconstruction, standardization, and commercialization all of which come from globalization discourse. Second, medical discourse embedded in these commodity, in the end, has impact on agricultural production.

This study aims to derive discourse's linguistic meaning, production method, and social practice implications by analyzing news reports on de-facility for people with disabilities. To this end, the discourse was analyzed by applying Fairclough's framework of critical discourse analysis. The subject of analysis is a news article on the de-facility of the disabled on the N portal site, and the analysis period is one year, from January 1 to December 31, 2022. First, as a result of the study, the surface meaning of the news discourse on the de-facility for disabled people was ideological through the seriousness of the problem for disabled people, the poor environment, and the policy of de-facility for disabled people separated from reality. Second, the social meaning of the de-facility news discourse for disabled people appeared from a realistic perspective, such as the structural cause of the problem for disabled people and the need for sensible government policies and measures to practice de-facility for disabled people. Finally, the socio-cultural practical implications of the de-facility news discourse for people with disabilities proposed the development of a systematic and realistic de-facility management manual for the disabled, practical government policy support, and changes in self-support perception for disabled people. The results of this study are expected to help find an alternative direction to reduce the gap between actual policies for de-facility for disabled people and practice in the field in the future.

본 연구에서는 권위적 및 대화적 담화 사례의 교사 담화 평가에서 드러난 예비 수학 교사들의 인식을 질적 내용 분석으로 탐색하였다. 예비교사들은 교사의 일방적 설명이나 학생 대답을 적극적으로 수용하지 않는 폐쇄적 발화에 비판적이었으며, 학생의 이유를 탐색하는 질문과 오답에 대한 개방적 태도를 지지했다는 측면에서 표면적으로 대화적 담화를 지향하고 있었다. 그러나 교사가 대부분의 인지활동을 대행하는 테스트 질문에 무비판적이었고, 학생들에게 제기된 답에 대한 수학적 판단 기회를 부여하여 대화적 상호작용을 촉진하는 교사 발문에 대해 심리적 저항을 보였다는 점에서, 예비교사들의 심층적인 권위적 담화 지향성도 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 보고한 교사교육 입문 초기 예비교사들의 담화인식은, 교실 담화에 대한 교사 전문성 교육 과정 설계에 유용한 기초를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

This paper draws the home into the stream of information and communications technology (ICT) development. Considering that homes and our home life are constantly affected by persistent change influenced by ICT, it is remarkable that ICT has been relatively neglected as an object of research in the field of housing studies. This study provides an overview of conceptual movements in ICT/home relationships and their design and social impact through a critical discourse analysis. The conceptual movements must be considered by professionals in the field of housing and built environment to stay attuned to changes in the 21st Century. Diverse debates took place in the discourse about ICT in relation to home. The stream of thought was started by futurists who saw the electronic cottage as a solution to the social problems caused by the separation of work and home life in industrial cities. ICT has now entered a new phase, with WiFi P2P networks and location-based social media that encourage sharable homes. Based on the analysis of the discourse on ICT and home, we drew from three issues related to the paradigm shifts in homes in the context of ICT development to provide future directions for housing studies: from space programming to time scheduling, from individual ownership to shared access, and from live+work dwelling to live+work+community.

본 연구는 교사의 수업 성찰이 담론 역량 변화에 작용하는 양상을 분석하여 교사 수업 전문성 개발에의 시사점을 얻는 데 목표를 두었다. 이에 중학교 수학 교사가 실제 수업을 실행한 다음, 연구자와의 협의회를 통해 수업을 성찰하는 과정에서 학생의 참여를 촉진하는 담론 역량이 어떻게 변화하는지 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 교사는 수업 실행과 성찰을 통해, 수업 중 학생의 발표와 반응을 다루는 2가지 국면에서 자신의 담론 역량에 문제가 있음을 인식하였으며, 이를 개선하기 위한 시도를 수업에서 실행하고 재성찰하는 과정을 반복함으로써 담론 생산성과 개방성을 높여 학생의 참여를 촉진하는 변화를 보였다. 이상의 연구 결과는 교사의 수업 성찰이 담론 역량 개발과 관련되는 수업 전문성 신장에 기여함을 보여준다.

필자들은 한국 문헌정보학과 정치학의 탈식민화에 대한 문제의식을 공유하고 한국 정치학 분야를 대상으로 탈식민성 담론에 대한 서지연구를 수행하였다. 구체적으로 이 연구는 우리나라 정치학자 중에서 한국의 정치현실에 부응하고 적실성 있는 정치학을 모색하는 학자들의 담론을 추적하고 그들의 연구물을 초록하고, 나아가 이러한 논의를 정리하여 개관하였다. 조사대상은 해방이후 최근까지의 한국 정치학의 탈식민성 담론이다. 이러한 서지 비평연구는 한국 사회과학과 문헌정보학의 소통 가능성을 보여주고 한국 정치학의 탈식민성 담론의 발전에 도움을 줄 것이다.
