The aim of this study is to make abolished school utilized to be served for promotion of off-farm incomes, vitality of agriculture and rural communities' economic, i.e. directly related in inhabitants' income. The methods of this study was to classify the types of utilization via analysis of abolished school data base which served by Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development. Moreover, we tried to derive problems of management and the existing system via interview survey of the nation's best 100 executives who utilize abolished school and present active factors of abolished school utilization and improvement directions. Then, we classified types of the idle agricultural land utilization into categories and selected the survey site which were the best on the idle agricultural land. Then, we suggests utilization and improvement directions to the use and management of idle agricultural land for increasing inhabitants' income, vitality of agriculture and rural communities' economic.

Agricultural products are inferior in their competitiveness in the world market mainly due to die high production cost which could be attributed to the rising land and labor cost in Korea. The small scale farming system with the lower production infra structure requires relatively intensive input labor for the reduction of production cost of agricultural products and impediment in the mechanization of farming systems. There are limitations in the cultivation techniques that seek out other directions for the raising competitiveness in the world market of basic food crops. Future goals to raise competitiveness of basic food crops in Korea should include the following: 1. Fostering of the farmers organization by crop items. 2. Agribusiness should integrate management with priority given to farmers. 3. Raise competitiveness to find out the system of obtaining on from the consumers.

In the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, which was to become an innovative society, we now face the forefront of a technological revolution, and in response to these changes, the world is actively developing the maker movement to nurture new innovations. Accordingly, it is necessary to change the functions of the library in order to play a leading role in a changing life environment. In addition, it is necessary to present certain directions in policies in order to help expand the library's capabilities to utilize a cultural technology. In this study, we have conducted a survey on public library librarians' perceptions towards makerspaces, and based on this, we have proposed directions and support policies for public library's makerspaces and a dissemination structure of makerspaces for the public library.

Development of thin carbon nanotubes (CNTs) nanoliquid film over the rough surface of a horizontal rotating disk is investigated by considering symmetric roughness either along the azimuthal or radial directions. The disk surface is either heated or cooled axisymmetrically from below. The effects of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) are analyzed on the film thinning process with different types of base liquids. Closed form solutions for velocity and temperature field are obtained for small values of Reynolds number whereas the numerical solution is derived for moderate values of Reynolds number. It is found that fluid retention / depletion takes place when the roughness is symmetric along the azimuthal / radial directions. It is also seen that the film thinning rate enhances for MWCNTs compare to SWCNTs. Further it is found that two different heat transfer regions exits within the flow domain depending on the fact that heat is transferred from disk to liquid film and vice-versa.

The paradigm of rural development projects has shifted and expanded from agricultural production based on the way of improving the residential environments in order to achieve the quality of life staying in rural areas. The purpose of this study is to evaluate policy directions of rural development projects by investigating government projects conducted successively starting from the Participatory Government of President Roh in 2003 and to the present Government of President Moon. In consideration of administrative affairs, the projects include the Balanced National Development Project, Quality of Life Improvement and Regional Development for Rural Villages Projects. The study examined changes in visions and key agendas proposed in national affairs as well as those in the visions and strategies exhibited by local development project plans through various governments. The core contents examined are the project characteristics, transformation process through government changes, and the law of status pertaining to rural development projects. The direction of implementation for the rural development projects implemented by each government provide an opportunity of understanding the transformation process in each project that has been still effective currently. This study is expected to provide a basic set of data to be used for a proposal for new rural development projects while still being useful to be referred or integrated to other national and regional projects.

중남미 및 카리브해(LAC) 지역에서 한국의 도시개발협력이 점차 확대되고 있지만 이와 관련된 국내의 시장 참여 전략은 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 콜롬비아의 도시계획체계, 도시개발사업, 한국의 협력사업을 분석하고 중남미 도시개발사업 협력을 위해 고려해야 할 사항을 도출하였다. 연구 방법은 먼저 콜롬비아의 주요 도시인 보고타(Bogotá)와 메데진(Medellín)의 국가 및 지역 도시 계획 시스템을 비교하고 시사점을 도출하였다. 둘째, 콜롬비아의 토지구획정리사업, 대규모 공공임대주택 공급을 위한 마크로프로젝트, 한국과 콜롬비아의 도시개발협력 사례를 분석하고 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과 한국의 도시개발 협력사업시 과제로는 첫째, ODA를 통한 원조사업은 투자형 개발사업과 같이 사업화로 연결시키기 보다는 향후 본사업을 위한 콜롬비아의 도시 네트워크 형성에 주력하는 것이다. 둘째, 인프라사업과는 다른 도시개발 협력사업의 재원조달구조를 파악하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 해외의 개발사업인 만큼 개발 기간 및 규모를 단지급 규모이하의 적정 규모로 설계하여 성공사례를 만드는 것이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

Wave propagation was studied for an unidirectionally reinforced composite materials. The velocities, the particle directions and the amplitudes of reflected and transmitted waves were obtained. This analysis involves an immersion C-scan procedure. Snell's law was modified to get the velocities of waves. This analysis could be applied to the detection of flaws in a transversely isotropic composite motor case.

Since The Korean Reliability Society had been founded in 1999, development history of reliability engineering in Korea is reviewed and research outputs and papers from 2008 to current are analyzed in terms of types of industry, product life cycle, hardware vs software, and theory vs application. The purpose of this research is to review the recent reliability engineering research conducted in Korea including development history as well as published papers to identify the weakness and/or deficiencies in order to suggest the future research directions, which would contribute the development of industries in Korea.
