네트워크사업자, 인터넷 사업자, 및 엔터프라이즈 네트워크의 트래픽 현황을 파악하기 위한 방법으로 Network Weather Map (NWM)과 대역폭 시간추이 그래프를 많이 사용한다. 이들은 라우터나 스위치장비 내에 동작하는 SNMP 에이전트가 제공하는 MIB정보를 주기적으로 수집하여 DB에 저장하고, 사용자가 언제 어디서나 볼 수 있도록 웹으로 결과를 보여주는 형태로 구축된다. 현재의 엔터프라이즈 네트워크는 multi-Gbps를 지원하는 이더넷 스위치 중심의 트리 토폴로지 형태로 구축되고 있다. 본 논문은 현재의 엔터프라이즈 네트워크에 적합한 SNMP 기반의 Network Weather Map 구축에 있어 고려되어야 할 사항을 점검하고, 이를 바탕으로 엔터프라이즈 Network Weather Map 시스템을 설계하고 구현한 내용을 기술한다. 특히 엔터프라이즈 네트워크와 Core 네트워크의 토폴로지 상의 차이를 고려하여 효율적인 Network Weather Map 디자인을 제시하고, multi-Gbps 고속 링크를 지원하는 현재의 라우터/스위치장비에 SNMP MIB-II 사용의 문제점을 확인하고 이의 해결방안을 제시한다. 또한 SNMP의 사용에 따른 트래픽 발생량, 그리고 네트워크 장비의 부하를 조사함으로써 SNMP의 효율적 사용방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 학교 캠퍼스 네트워크를 대상으로 Network Weather Map 시스템을 구축하였다.

With the rapid changes of business environments and the tremendous amount of information generated from those environments, most companies must learn to manage those changes and information more effectively. Furthermore, within those amounts of information, the information that meets with achieving the goal of each company should be selected and managed as a core competency, i.e. the knowledge, visible and invisible assets of the company. Knowledge management, as a tool of creating, sharing, and applying such knowledge, has pursued those requirements of companies and been studied by many researchers and consultants, especially focusing on the Knowledge Map'. It is said that a knowledge map is a powerful tool for scanning and managing the knowledge that exists in a company and that it is the most important part of establishing a knowledge management base. Until now, however, there have been no specific or practical models for establishing a knowledge map, in spite of the concern. For this reason, this paper suggests a practical model for establishing a knowledge map in terms of a knowledge acquisition procedure based on the traditional research concerning concept maps. In addition to this, for examining the validity of the model, a case study on the 'P' steel and iron company has been performed. This paper's methodology on developing a knowledge map and the procedures to apply them to the real business environment will suggest a cornerstone in the field of practical implementation of knowledge management.

Health benefits from implementing air quality control measures were assessed using the Environmental Benefits Mapping and Analysis Program (BenMAP). BenMAP developed by US EPA is a GIS-based software tool that estimates the health impacts and associated economic values connected with changes in ambient air pollution. Once a set of BenMAP-required data was collected, the health benefits from implementing Seoul Air Quality Management Plan (SAQMP), an official AQ improvement plan for Seoul Metropolitan Area, was assessed using BenMAP. The PM10 concentrations assuming the SAQMP implemented successfully were predicted with the MM5 (Mesoscale Meteorological model version 5)/CMAQ (Community Multiscale Air Quality) model. A PM 10 exposure related premature mortality function was adopted trom a well-known epidemiology study. Economic valuation functions driven from benefit transfer methods were utilized. Through the SAQMP, PM10 concentrations were estimated to be lowered by $15{\mu}g/m^3\;to\;75{\mu}g/m^3$ depending on air quality modeling grids. 5,569 premature deaths (95% CI $3,264{\sim}7,809$ deaths) could be avoided in the Seoul Metropolitan Area. The economic value of the deaths avoided was estimated to $13.2 billion $(95%\;CI\;$890\;million{\sim}$28.2\;billion)$ using the benefit transfer value. BenMAP could be a useful tool for developing effective air quality improvement policy, enabling the policy makers to anticipate the effects of regulatory changes on people's health and the economy.

In this study, sub domain of flow was investigated on literature survey, and suggested of the measuring method of web-site flow and its simulation analysis. Constructing of measuring method of flow, and using this method what-if analysis was simulated when several condition changed. Using causal map approach to extract knowledge from web-site domain experts and to derives a causal relationship of knowledge. Specially, in our study, describes method of developing and building causal map, and suggests guide line of this method on practical application. This research results show that web-site flow starts "direct searching" or "interesting of special issue(domain)", and when challenges of web-site were accorded with user's skills web-site flow grows. Further, in the web-site, information searching intention results in increase of user's duration time and experience flow to discovery new interesting issues in this process. If user's web-site of interaction is increased, awareness of environment conditions decreased, finally, user's telepresense results in increased web-site flow. This paper contained thai this method make used of measuring flow in the web-site and developing of practical strategy.

본 논문에서는 캠퍼스 시설물 관리를 위한 GUI 개발 방법을 제안하였다. GUI 개발에 있어서는 효율적인 윈도우즈 프로그래밍과 컴포넌트 소프트웨어 제작기술의 적용이 가장 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 OLE 자동화 객체와 ADO 데이터 콘트롤을 사용하여 GUI를 개발하는 방법을 제시하였으며, 사례 연구를 통해 개발한 GUI가 지도중첩, 속성테이블 참조, SQL 질의를 이용한 검색, 주제도의 매핑/디스플레이 기능 등을 수행함을 보였다.

본 논문에서는 OLE 자동화를 이용한 GIS의 사용자 인터페이스를 개발하는 방법을 제시하였다.사용자 인터페이스의 개발에 있어서는 윈도우즈 프로그래밍 기술과 컴포넌트 소프트웨어 제작 기술의 적용이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 소프트웨어 제작 기술인 OLE 자동화와 비주얼 베이직 언어를 이용하여 사용자 인터페이스를 개발하는 방법을 제시하고, 사례 연구로서 주제도 중첩, 속성 테이블 조회, 그래프 분석, 분포도 분석 등의 기능을 수행할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 개발하였다.

이 논문은 시조문화 정보 시스템 개발의 가능성과 전망을 논한 것이다. 본문의 내용을 요약하여 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1. 언어 자료로서의 시조 문화 정보 시스템은 원전 자료를 포함한 자료의 입력ㆍ교정 작업이 우선 필요하다. 2. 구축된 원시 자료를 가공할 때에는 TEI (Text Encoding Initiative), 시소러스(Thesauras) 등의 작업이 고려되어야 한다. 3. 이는 Topic Map을 구축하는 기본 작업이 된다. 4. 예술 자료로서의 시조 문화 정보 시스템은 다른 자료들 - 이미지, 동영상 등 -과의 연결(link)이 매우 중요하다.

때로는 사실적인 그래픽으로 표현된 지도보다 카툰풍의 그래픽으로 표현된 지도가 특정 사용자에게 지도의 정보를 이해하게 쉽게 도와준다. 본 연구에서는 캐리커처의 생성 알고리즘을 이용하여 지도 외형선을 생성하는 방법과 인지 정도의 관계에 관하여 밝히고자 하였다. 그 중에서도 알고리즘 원리로써 강조변화, 공유변화 그리고 단순화를 실험하였다. 강조변화 알고리즘과 공유변화 알고리즘을 적용하기 위해서는 대상 사물의 평균형태가 필요한데, 이를 생성하는 방법에 관하여도 논하였다. 실제 지도에 단순화 정도 값에 따라서 강조변화율과 공유변화율을 적용했을 경우에 사용자가 캐리커처 형식의 지도를 실제 지도와 얼마나 비슷하게 인지하는가에 대하여 설문 조사하였다. 또한 지도 축척에 따라서 강조변화율과 단순화 값의 관계를 알아보기 위한 설문 조사를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과로서, 사용자가 캐리커처 형식의 지도를 축척변화에 따라 인식하기에 적정한 표현 값을 구하였다. 이러한 데이터는 개발자가 지도 외형선 생성의 프로그램 함수 개발에서 기본 데이터로 활용될 것이다.

오늘날의 모든 통신은 IP(Internet Protocol)을 기반으로 통합 및 연계되어 발전하고 있으며, IP를 통하여 사용자에게 '언제, 어디서나, 끊김 없는 서비스'를 제공할 수 있게 하기 위하여 많은 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. IETF에서는 IPv6를 사용하여 이동성을 제공하는 MIPv6를 제안하였으나 이동노드가 네트워크를 이동할 때 마다 HA(Home Agent)와 CN(Correspondent Node)에게 BU(Binding Update) 메시지를 보냄으로써 많은 Overhead와 전송지연이 발생한다. 이에 현재 MAP(Mobility Anchor Pointer)를 사용하여 CN에게 아무런 영향을 끼치지 않으면서 이동노드가 매번 핸드오버마다 발생하는 HA와 CN에게의 BU를 통한 지연과 Overhead를 줄일 수 있는 HMIPv6를 개발하였다. HMIPv6는 이동노드가 MAP 내부에서 핸드오버시, 같은 RCoA(Regional Care of Address)를 가지고 있음으로 BU를 HA와 CN에게 전달하지 않고 MAP가 직접 처리하여 MAP 내부에서의 이동에 관하여 전송지연과 Overhead 문제를 해결하였지만, MAP와 MAP간의 Macro 핸드오버를 효율적으로 수행하지 못한다. 본 논문은 HMIPv6환경에서 MAP간의 Macro 핸드오버시, 이동노드의 위치정보를 이용한 핸드오버를 사용함으로써 효율을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

이 논문은 사이버공간에서 비즈니스를 시작하고 확장해가는 과정을 로드맵으로 제안하였다. 사이버 비즈니스가 성공하기 위해서는 사이버공간의 특성, 비즈니스의 특성 그리고 사업자 자신의 상황이 조화롭게 통합되어야 하는데, 그 통합 과정을 로드맵으로 함축시켰다. 제안하는 로드맵은 사이버공간의 특성에 대한 이해의 점진적 확장과 더불어 사이버 비즈니스를 점진적으로 확장해 가는 방법을 지향하고 있다.
