최근 범죄, 테러, 교통, 보안등의 이유로 카메라의 설치가 더욱 많아짐에 따라 비디오 감시가 점점 일반화 되어가고 있다. 설치된 카메라로부터 입력된 비디오는 중앙관제센터에서 멀티스크린으로 모니터링 되고 있고, 처한 상황이나 위험 등으로부터 빠르게 대응하기 위해 실시간으로 여러 화면을 동시에 감시는 것이 필수 요소가 되고 있다. 그러나 멀티스크린 화면으로 스마트폰과 같은 모바일 환경에서 모니터링할 때, 하드웨어 스펙이나, 네트워크 대역폭의 문제로 적용되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 스마트폰 환경에서 실시간으로 멀티스크린화면을 감시할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 사용자가 원하는 멀티스크린 화면을 트랜스코딩을 통해 재구성하였고, 스마트폰 환경에서 끊김 없이 복수의 카메라를 모니터링하여, 이동하면서도 감시할 수 있는 장점을 가질 수 있다.

In Korea and Japan, dried oak mushrooms are classified into 12 to 16 different categories based on its external visual quality. And grading used to be done manually by the human expert and is limited to the randomly sampled oak mushrooms. Visual features of dried oak mushrooms dominate its quality and are distributed over both sides of the gill and the cap. The 2nd prototype computer vision based automatic grading and sorting system for dried oak mushrooms was developed based on the 1st prototype. Sorting function was improved and overall system for grading was simplified to one stage grading instead of two stage grading by inspecting both front and back sides of mushrooms. Neuro-net based side(gill or cap) recognition algorithm of the fed mushroom was adopted. Grading was performed with both images of gill and cap using neural network. A real time simultaneous discharge algorithm, which is good for objects randomly fed individually and for multi-objects located along a series of discharge buckets, was developed and implemented to the controller and the performance was verified. Two hundreds samples chosen from 10 samples per 20 grade categories were used to verify the performance of each unit such as feeding, reversing, grading, and discharging unites. Test results showed that success rates of one-line feeding, reversing, grading, and discharging functions were 93%, 95%, 94%, and 99% respectively. The developed prototype revealed successful performance such as the approximate sorting capability of 3,600 mushrooms/hr per each line i.e. average 1sec/mushroom. Considering processing time of approximate 0.2 sec for grading, it was desired to reduce time to reverse a mushroom to acquire the reversed surface image.

This research is to provide practical help in learning hair and makeup illustration skills by presenting techniques for hair and makeup drawing; to serve efficient illustration education; and to enhance the status of beauty and contribute to artistic development. Hair style and makeup techniques include graphical one, pattern-centered one, one using pattern paper, simplifying one and mood one expressing image. Of them, this research made the illustrations to use cosmetics, color pencils and pastel based on the graphical technique. for each design of the illustrations, ethnic, sexy, natural, romantic and gorgeous images, which were considered to be appropriate to the graphical technique, were chosen by the researcher out of hair and makeup styles that appeared in the fashion magazines including Vogue, Gap, Mode et Mode from 2000 through 2001. In particular, they were chosen with focusing on basic styles. The summaries below were found with the experience of making illustrations. Various techniques and skills are required to express the ideas of hair and makeup styles. Of them, the graphical technique is very useful as the primary step to learn various techniques and improve drawing skills. First, the graphical technique may enable not only expressing what is desired to draw as is, but also accurately representing hair and makeup designs so as to convey objective expression. In this regard, it is a proper way to achieve its inherent purpose as conveyance of messages. Second, more accurate styling of hair and makeup is available through graphical expression, which helps understand related practical techniques. In addition, makeup illustration, which is expressed through direct makeup products and instruments, may serve skill improvement since such direct use provides the feeling of real makeup. Third, the graphical technique as a basic drawing skill may unrestrictedly show the artist's expression ability. Fourth, although artistic merits implying individuality and creativity should be shared through illustrations that express the artist's ideas or emotions, the graphical technique is the easiest method to beginners who just started learning of illustration, in that it enables expression without highly advanced skills.

The World exposition is considered as a great event to promote the cultural exchanges of their own urbanism and share the technological developments among the various countries across the all over the world. So many countries in the world desired to host and take part in the EXPO, so far only few countries have had the chance to hold the event and show their uniqueness of urban culture, but we might say the past exhibition as those for display and publication of matters of science, technology and trade, now we must say expositions of the 21th century has come under variations on cultural and informational interchange and humanism from the global issue and problem. What makes possible to maximize the effort of reciprocal communication between people and the public can be the EXPO event as a means of the public information of the theme and this kind of event should suggest the public a message of the topic, message, image and even more the EXPO spirits and theme as an international event gives as much considerably spreading effect as its big scale. In that aspect, the pavilion for the exhibition of EXPO and public information should be recognized as a place for smoothly forming the activities of reciprocal communication between the society and the public, with such a aspect this study, as its purpose of improving as well as communication, concerns the process in projecting the space paradigm of pavilion in the EXPO and public message and information as a means of the communication of the global theme.

진단용 X선 기기는 다양한 장치의 개발에 힘입어 보다 효과적이고 정밀한 진단이 가능하게 되었다. 정밀 진단이 가능하게 되면서 X선 기기는 임상의학에 있어 가장 기본적이고 핵심적인 진단 장치로 자리 잡고 있다. X선을 이용한 영상획득 분야에서는 영상의 획득 시간 단축과 전송이 용이하고, 조사선량의 감소가 가능한 DR(Digital Radiography)의 사용이 확대되고 있다. 하지만 DR은 1개의 디텍터를 이용하는 구조로 되어있어 기존의 X선 장치와는 달리 구조적인 변경이 필요하며 촬영위치에 따라 디텍터를 원하는 위치까지 움직여야하는 단점을 가진다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 BLDC 모터와 PID 제어방식을 사용해 DR에서 가장 움직임이 많은 디텍터의 상하, 좌우, 회전의 3축 위치자동 제어 시스템을 설계 제작하고 그 성능을 평가 하였다.

본 논문에서는 주성분 해석 기법에 기반한 새로운 벡터 양자화 코드북 설계 방법을 제안한다. 주성분 해석 알고리즘은 입력 영상벡터를 더 작은 차원의 특징 벡터로 변환시키는데 사용되며, 변환된 영역에서 특징 벡터의 군집을 최적으로 결정된 분할 초평면을 이용하여 두 군집으로 분할하는 과정을 반복 함으로써 코드북을 생성한다. 본 논문에서는 연산 시간이 오래 걸리는 최적 분할 초평면 탐색을 (1) 분할 초평면은 특징 벡터의 주축에 수직이며, (2) 좌우측 부군집의 오차의 균형점과 일치하며, (3) 좌우측 부군집의 오차를 점진적으로 조정함으로서 연산 수행 시간을 크게 단축시켰다. 제안한 주축 연속 분할은 분할전후의 오차의 감축이 가장 큰 군집에 대해, 전체 군집의 오차가 설정한 수준보다 작을 때까지 연속적으로 수행된다. 실험 결과 제안한 주성분 해석 기반 벡터 양자화 방법은 SOFM을 이용한 방법보다 수행시간이 빠르며 K-mean 알고리즘을 이용한 방법보다 복원 성능이 뛰어남을 볼 수 있다.

이단 마이크로 플라즈마 추력기 (${\mu}PT$)의 개념 설계를 위하여 실험적 연구가 수행되었다. 운전 조건 및 노즐의 설계조건에 따른 전극 간격 및 출구 면적의 변화에 대한 추력기의 성능 최적화 연구가 수행되었다. 운전 압력은 $10^{-1}$ Torr에서 $10^{-4}$ Torr의 진공 조건이며 아르곤 가스의 유량은 5 sccm에서 300 sccm에 대하여 추력기의 성능 검증 연구가 이루어 졌다. 소모전력 약 1 watt에서 5 watt의 운전 상태에서 약 3000에서 4000정도의 비추력이 예상된다. 마이크로 플라즈마 추력기에 의해 발생된 토출 제트의 사진 및 전기적 특성에 대한 결과를 포함하였다.

Objectives : To examine the meaning of 'harmonizing all medicinals(調和諸藥)' of Gancao's property to grasp its essence which would further lead to better understanding of formula composition where Gancao is both included and excluded. Methods : Contents on Gancao from previous texts were analyzed and integrated with basic descriptions on qi and flavor, shape and colour, origin, name, etc., to form a single Xiang(象) or image. Further discussion was developed from this point in a way to better understand the harmonizing property of Gancao. Results & Conclusions : Gancao's 'harmonizing all medicinals' property is achieved through its 'mitigate urgency' function. The meaning of 'harmonizing all medicinals' could be understood in terms of both mitigating the whole formula and mitigating each medicinal ingredient. First, Gancao's function of mitigating the whole formula is to mediate conflict that occurs from difference in property among each ingredient where each medicinal's property remains intact to perform its effects soundly. Second, to mitigate each medicinal ingredient is to balance the effects of severly biased medicinals to obtain desired effects. Both approaches are same in essence in that they mitigate urgency to achieve the original goal. Gancao's 'harmonizing all medicinals' is to arbitrate others, which sets Gancao apart from other ingredients to function at a more basal level.

본 연구에서는 SaaS(Software as a Service)방식으로 전달되는 소프트웨어를 통해 Multi-platform 디스플레이 장치에 맞춤형 서비스가 가능 할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 시스템은 기존의 디지털 사이니지 시스템에 비해 확장성과 이식성이 뛰어나고 플랫폼이 독립적으로 다양한 환경에서 구축이 가능하여 구축비용, 유지관리 등의 면에서 유리하고 주변 환경에 따라 전력을 관리하므로 유지비용 절감 가능하다. 향후 사람들에게 다양한 경험을 제공하고 재미있는 환경을 제공하는 서비스로 발전하기 위해서는 사용자의 성별, 연령, 위치 등을 인식하고 사용자 맞춤으로 콘텐츠를 보여줄 수 있는 자동 패턴인식기술에 대한 연구와 생동감 있는 콘텐츠 제작을 위해 각종 화상영상처리에 대한 연구도 병행되어야 할 것이다.

한국 기업과 사회에서 변화하는 문화적 흐름에 따라 유머는 유용한 인상관리 기법이 될 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 유머를 성공적인 인상관리 기법으로 활용하기 위하여 이해해야 되는 요소들을 확인하는 것에 있다. 본 연구는 참여적 관찰(participant observation) 과 인터뷰(semi-structured interviews) 를 통한 질적 연구를 진행하였다. 참여자들은 유머를 통한 인상관리가 대부분 유교문화에 기반을 둔 상대적 역할에 맞춰 사용되며, 상급자(superior) 가 더 적극적이고 다양하게 사용한다고 인식하였다. 그러나 상대적으로 젊은 참여자들은 유머가 기업의 역할에서 벗어날 수 있는 독창적인 인상관리 기법이 될 수 있으며, 이 과정에서 유머가 다양한 해석 및 결과를 나타낼 수 있다는 인식이 참여자들에게 불안감과 스트레스를 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 유머를 사용할 때 환경과 소통하는 대상의 문화적 성향을 고려하고, 기업들은 효과적인 인상관리 기법에 대한 교육을 도입해야 의도하지 않은 결과를 피하여 긍정적인 결과를 얻을 것이다.
