The pixel art style evolved from the shortcomings of computer image display technology has gradually transformed from a technical limitation into a widely recognized form of artistic expression since development in the early 20th century. This study analyzes the application and characteristics of the expandability of pixel art style design content in sub industries such as physical goods, environmental design, website design, digital art and illustration in the design field. It aims to explore the visual expression and sustainable development form of pixel art style under the development of new media technology that contradicts traditional technological concepts. The research results show that although the pixel art style generally pursues external visual features such as pixelated visual effects, sawtooth and matrix arrangements, its expansion in the art field shows a unique diversity of visual expressions. It has become an important means to convey nostalgic emotions and cultural values. Through this research, we hope to inspire more academic researchers and technology practitioners to explore the development potential of the pixel art style in emerging fields and promote its innovative application in design practice.

The aesthetic value of Korea is rising in various fields through the use of designs using Korean materials. Korean materials contain oriental ideas and are widely used as materials for design development due to the uniqueness of its form. The purpose of this study is to present basic data of nail art design differentiated nail art designs required at the nail art industry site by producing nail works using Korean materials. Accordingly, We proceeded on the basis of theoretical consideration and empirical research for the development of nail art design, a field of beauty in this study, and made a Korean and unique nail art design work using the Four Gracious Plants. For this purpose, we considered theoretically the characteristics of nail art and the Gracious Plants, and made nail art design works derived from empirical research. The work was analyzed by color, texture, and design elements of form. Therefore, the mixed method of Nail Art and the Gracious Plants, which is the core of this study, is considered to be meaningful in laying the foundation for creative nail art design development.

This study was aimed to make clear fashion is an expression art displaying not only functional or commercial aspects, but creative functions as an artistic work by analyzing Art Mode and its values, and to help develop more creative design by combining fashion with art. In terms of method, relevant documents, precedent studies, and the works announced in domestic and foreign fashion collections, such as Vogue, Fashion News, Gap, and Collections from 2000 to 2009. According to the findings, artistic works were used by the Art Mode in modern fashion. The respect of artists was expressed using historic famous painting works or current works in various fields, designers' individuality was shown by directly applying work messages to clothes, and fashion design was converted into a tool to communicate the messages like artistic works. Second, the various styles, using the formative character of modern art styles from animalism to modern abstractism, showed the creativity of design, transformed art into the art that enables to see the image of modern art, and presented the possibility of developing into a newer creative design through the application of numerous art styles and the transformation of ideas. Third, the collaboration with artists was used. Fashion designers or fashion brands tried to change the images of works or brands in partnership with artists or to increase differentiated images. The future direction of fashion is a pursuit of new form and content to express fashion, not simply to use artistic works. It is expected that such pursuit will lead to more creative and artistic fashion design.

Hair style takes a large part in emphasizing to the appearance and the effect of image transformation with fashion to the modern people whose competition is appearance in 21 century. According to the development of mass media and the exchange of the life style. Image creation which correspond to T.P.O is needed and style-up is also required in modern costume, as the coordination for special day is routinized. In this study, the expression of a fine and organic line shown as a motive in Art Nouveau style's works is applied to style-up design and a new view sight to the style-up design through the art history is suggested with developing style-up design to satisfy the upgraded customer's requirements. The feminine beauty is appeared as a various image by applying style-up design from Art Nouveau style through this study. and the infinite possibility to the design development can be found with activated motive of Art Nouveau. These Art Nouveau trend will be a foundation to the inspiration of high artistic design and will be helpful to the aesthetic satisfaction of the elegance modern people. Therefore, I hope this study will be a fundamental data for creative development of hair design through the art history which may be forgetting.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate visual arts in interactive technology in art museum applications and to analyze the impact relationship between interactive technology and the five senses. This study was conducted to survey respondents who had used art museum applications. The results are as follows. First, this study evaluates the differences in perception of art museum applications according to the general characteristics of the respondents. They show that there are differences in gender, marital status, age, and social income. Second, this study identifies the impact of five senses and synesthesia on interaction design among emotional design elements. They reveal that visual, auditory, tactile components, and synesthesia have significant effects on interactive design. This study reveals that emotional design elements of art museum applications affect interaction design. Also, it suggests that research on interaction design reflecting five senses is continuously needed to improve audience satisfaction and revitalize art museum applications.

Style have been changing by the situations and the background of contemporary politics, society and economics, and which influence significantly to create new forms. Since the style of ART DECOC 1929s -1930s) has been studied with main reference to its cause and motivation, it is known that the style of ART DECO is one that has given $$\mu$h potential and chance to the development of interior design.In the study, it was focussed on to study on interior design, architecture, funiture, etc. in America where ART DECO had been once successful in his career. The role of fabric now directly related with the expression of the beauty of clothing and it provides new and creative ideas. This study was aimed at reviewing basic data that can be used in systematic design development through fabric expression for today's fashion designers who must study unique, original fashion design development. For systematic development of design technique through fabric expression, fabric expression methods and characteristics, aesthetic characteristics and fabric design of 'art to wear' were reviewed and the results are as follows. First, the highly wrought fabric expression of art to wear was confirmed to be comprehending a message within itself. Second, aesthetic characteristics of fabric expression used in art to wear can be classified as decorativeness, extensity, 2-D pictorialness, handicraft, compounding and rearrangement, and 3-D characteristics. Third, the 6 aesthetic characteristics have unique design features and aesthetic categories. The understanding the fabric expression techniques through study on the classification of the fabric expression in 'art to wear' is expected to be extended to proposition of creative direction and inspiration of modern fashion.

The Institute of Contemporary Art has gathered, arranged and exchanged historical data and a variety of information of art. It also aims at Helping revitalize artistic activities and develop diverse areas of art among regions. This scheme for revitalization of art includes holding seminars, international exhibitions or regional exchange exhibitions, publishing papers, and enhancing art education. This paper provides a view of what the Institute of Contemporary Art at Kunsan University has done so far, pursues better ways for revitalization of artistic activities, and suggests a future-oriented approach for making the institute a place for regional exchange of modem art and design.
