디지털 신세대의 패션트렌드 인지도와 수용도가 패션정보 활용도에 미치는 영향 (The Study of New Digital Generation's Utilization of Fashion Information)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate recognition degree and acceptability of fashion trends of new consumers who live in digital era, and to determine how these factors have influence on their use of fashion trend information. The study was conducted with 696 people from 15 to 34 years old. A self-administrated questionnaire based on the results of previous researches was developed. The data were analyzed with statistical analyses such as frequency analysis, mean, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis. The results are as follows: first, new digital consumer's recognition degree (RD) of fashion trends is 7.85 on the average, given that the top of scale is 20.0, it is quite low. Of fashion trend RD, fashion item RD is the highest. The female subjects recognize fashion trends better than the male subjects. Second, fashion trend acceptance of new digital generation is classified into 5 factors: 'search acceptance', 'lead acceptance', 'follow acceptance', 'non-acceptance', and 'delay acceptance'. The female subjects show higher degree in the factors of 'search acceptance', 'lead acceptance' and 'follow acceptance' of fashion trend than the males; hence it means that the females have more positive attitudes in fashion trend acceptance than the males. Third, there are significant differences between genders in the fashion information utilization. Compared to the males, the females more use fashion information on style, fabrics and color. Concludingly, their fashion trend recognition degree and acceptance made an influence in part on their utilization of fashion information.

브리지 파크 국제설계경기에 나타난 현대 조경설계의 경향 (Bridge Park International Design Competition and Its Implications on Contemporary Landscape Design)

  • A deserted town once vibrant with active commercial activities around a railroad station now tries to find a way to escape from depression and revive its life with a renewed civic pride. An open space adjacent to the Main Street, the commercial district of Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts, is waiting to be transformed and reconfigured to be a new ecological park to boost the economy of the community. Bridge Park is 26-acre land abutting the Cape Cod Canal with a railroad bridge as a backdrop. The existing condition of the site with a small salt marsh, woodland, lawn, and the vestige of old railroad easement along with the proximity to the commercial district poses an interesting question of how to make a medium scaled ecological park within an urban context. This paper examines the winning design proposals for the Bridge Park submitted to the International Design Competition held in April, 2005. Six winning proposals were introduced and discussed in terms of categories related to the trend of contemporary landscape design such as; 1) ecological ordinariness and geometric figures, 2) topography and spatial imagination, 3) minimal programs and open put 4) time and process oriented design, 5) park and economic effects and 6) diagrammatic plan and photo montage. Bridge Park Design Competition confirms the complex characteristics representing the contemporary landscape design overcoming the dichotomy between nature and culture and the 'pastoral ecological design' and 'landscape as an art'. The Park becomes the activating agent for the community rejecting the conventional and passive role as a romantic picturesque landscape. Bridge Park International Design Competition is a meaningful event to test the idea of new ecological urban park, and to fine-tune the trend of the contemporary urban park design.

  • The introduction of coffee business means adapting new culture more than coffee business itself as you see if from the trend of brand coffee stores in Korea now days. This 'new coffee culture' is popular among the adults from university students to business people and it has settled as a trend not only for drinking coffee but also for a place where they can take a rest and enjoy the culture. For that reason the elements which organize space to space takes great deal of weight in Marketing. Customers are looking for spaces such as business room, studying room, parkinglot, smoking area and also want comfortable seats and good atmosphere. It shows how important marketing is in Space design. Following study is to study about the key space design elements which is getting luxurious and individual in brand coffee stores. The aim of this essay is to broden variety and creativity of the space design in the market from now on.

2차 대전 후 미국 가구 디자인의 경향과 맥락에 관한 분석 연구 (An Analytical Study on the Trends and Contexts of American Furniture Design in the post World War II period)

  • This study explored the trend of postwar period American furniture design and analyzes the contexts of the trend. To be more specific, this study categorized the types of the styles or "looks" of furniture which were dominant in postwar period America: the machine look ; the handicraft look ; the biomorphic look. The background and the context for each look were traced back and analyzed both diachronically and synchronically. Based on the analysis, this study provided two conclusions. First, postwar period American furniture design is in many ways indebted to the World War II, because the war itself and postwar economic revival produced high demands for furniture, which consequently produced a variety of looks of furniture. Second, the furniture design in this period is attributed to commercialism and consumer-oriented design policy formulated in the mid 1920′s when American design established its own identity separating from European avant-gardism.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the history of 20th century fashion and make-up culture, analyze trend of the modern fashion and make-up, creat a cyber make-up model according to themes and also it will find out how to use make-up as a part of fashion genre. As a result of this study is 1. Looking over change-process in 20th century fashion and make-up history, we can find the popular make-up color and pattern reflecting the society and cultural environments. And also make-up culture reflecting their sense of values and way of thinkings. 2. Analyzing fashion and make up color trend of 2002 F/W, we can find a similarity between fashion and make-up color trend by comparing with hue&tone chart. All of theme have a tendency to be natural, veiled, feminine by neutral color and artifical highlighted, illuminate, transparant by clear-high saturation color. 3. Creating imagemaps, color palletes and cyber model of 4 trend themes by computer graphic, It can give more visual and interesting effect on the cyber space, and also it can help to expect make-up will be dizitalized, visualized and informationalized.

  • This research is a follow-up study about analysis on the many different customer groups and their various culture trend, which intends to realize diverse values depending on the sense. The purpose of this study was to develop direction forecast for the future fashion industry through consideration about the characteristics of contemporary fashion industry by the change of different customer's culture trend. And also try to find solution to survival strategy of fashion fields able to evolve with customer. Change of the customer's cultural trend draws a shift in policy in the 21st fashion industry as follows : 1) mash-up 2) complexation through decentering and blurring 3) invisible and immaterial value oriented 4) expansion of minor small market. Moreover, this shows sociocultural meaning as follows. First is spread of flexible and horizontal relationship through collaborative consumption and collaboration. Second is concentration on floating and indeterminate chance through dismantling of various different fashion categories. Third is formation of the permanent difference by selection and focus. Last is expansion of understanding about cultural-ecology. Customer cultural trend is 'meme' of cultural gene in fashion field, so it intends to co-evolute with customer by continuous change.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to suggest the new orientalism fashion through the comprehensive approach to analyze the art of the Tang dynasty, China. Tang dynasty has high culture, economy, polity and art. Also the character of Tang's culture is very international. Therefore that point is coincide with fusion culture in the early 2000's. As a method of accomplishing this research, the documents and fashion magazines related to the art and fashion were examined. Through analyzing the art in the Tang's related to fusion culture, reach a conclusion that the modern fashion has four characters. 1. The cause of high culture and economy, the trend of fashion was decorative 2. The cause of realism, the trend of fashion were modern and simple. 3. The cause of rhythmical line, the trend of fashion had natural drape. 4. The cause of globalism, the trend of fashion mixed east with west This research keep going for showing new orientalism and coinciding with 21th century's trend.

  • 현대사회는 고도로 단원화하고 광범위하게 조직된 사회구조로 되어가고 있다. 후기 산업사회인 현대의 문화적 측면은 포스트모더니즘으로 이러한 경향이 전 학문영역에 보여지고 있다. 따라서 포스트모더니즘은 20세기 후반을 지배하는 일종의 시대정신이 되고 있다. 포스트모더니즘은 모더니즘에 대한 반발로 제2차 세계대전이후 서구 세계에 나타나기 시작한 다양한 예술적, 지적, 사상적 경향을 막연히 지칭하는 표현이다. 포스트모던 사회인 현대는 탈분화와 탈조직화, 사회구조의 이완, 해체 등의 특징을 나타낸다. 포스트모더니즘의 발생배경, 특징 및 철학을 연구함으로 포스트모더니즘의 이론적 배경을 파악하였다. 그러한 포스트모더니즘의 영향이 산업디자인의 영역에서 어떠한 경향을 보이고 있는지 미니멀리즘, 레트로디자인, 키치적디자인, 해체주의디자인, 신소재사용디자인 및 사이버디자인에 관해 연구하였다.

  • 지금 모피트렌드는 대중화와 디지털 트렌드에 힘입어 쇼킹하고 믹스드된 디자인과 실루엣이 컬렉션에 보이고 있다. 벌키하고 짧은 실루엣이 보이는데, 예전보다는 캐주얼에 믹스되기 때문에 그렇다. 배경에는 키덜트의 부상, 자연주의, 테크노캐주얼, 새로운 아방가르드로 표현되어진다. 이제 모피는 더 이상 클래식엘레강스(고현진, 2005) 아이템이 아니고, 보다 재미있고 차브(조주연, 2006)한 아이템으로 변해야 한다.
