Purpose - This study seeks to find out the factors affecting the performance of franchisees from the franchisor's and franchise's intangible assets. In order to explain the process, this study explores the concept of LMX, Relational Capital, and Decision Rights Delegation. Research design, data, and methodology - To verify the proposed hypotheses, a questionnaire survey was conducted for franchise store owners, and to test the hypotheses, structural equation modeling was established. Results - First, franchisor's intangible assets affect the quality of LMX, but don't affect the relational capital. And the quality of LMX affects the relational capital. In addition, "the effect of delegation of decision rights on relational capital" and "the effect of relational capital on franchisee's performance" were significant. However, the effect of delegation of decision rights on franchisee's performance wasn't significant. Second, the intangible assets of the franchise have a positive effect on the quality of the LMX and the degree of delegation of decision rights, and the quality of the LMX has a positive effect on the delegation of decision rights. Conclusions - This study would suggest operational implications for the formation of vertical and horizontal relationships and the cooperation between the main members of the franchise business.

This paper propose an interested digital rights protection scheme to address problems facing contemporary DRM approached : static digital rights management, and limited application to on-line environment. We introduce a dynamic mission control technology to realize dynamic digital rights management. And we incorporate license agent to on- and off-line monitoring and tracking. The proposed system prevent illegal access and use by using PKI security method, real time action monitoring for user, data security for itself.

As the logistic environment of digital contents is rapidly changing, the protection of the digital rights for digital content has been recognized as one of critical issues. Digital Right Management(DRM) has taken much interest Internet Service Provider(ISP), authors and publishers of digital content as an interested approach to create a trusted environment for access and use of digital resources. Purpose - In this study, I attempt to clarify three theories of firm boundaries (vertical integration): the principal-agent theory, transaction cost theory, and property rights theory. Although these theories have been widely cited and much discussed, it has been found that understanding the commonalities and distinctions of these seemingly familiar theories is difficult. Design/methodology/approach - I present the three theories about the decisions that firms make concerning their boundaries. Then, I compare elemental versions of the theories of the firm. Findings - Comparing the ingredients of the elemental property rights and principal-agent theories shows that they provide a unified account of the costs and benefits of vertical integration. However, the property rights theory in no sense formalizes the transaction cost theory. Research implications or Originality - Clarifying the three theories of the firm can help to construct empirical models and interpret its results.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a program for rights advocacy on the level of human rights perception and self-esteem for those who are mentally ill. Methods: A quasi-experimental study using a nonequivalent control group pre-post test design was used. The data were collected from January 20 to March. 17, 2010. Forty one (23 in the experimental group and 19 in the control group) individuals participated in this study. The program was developed based on the education program for human rights developed by the Gyeonggi-do community mental health center in 2009. The program consisted of 8 sessions lasting 8 weeks. Results: There were no statistically significant differences in the demographic variables or the outcome variables between the two groups before the intervention. The level of human rights perception and self-esteem increased after the program in the experimental group but not significantly (t=1.87, p=.07; t=0.88, p=.384). Conclusion: Despite the fact that the program was not effective in increasing the level of human rights perception and self-esteem, the study was timely in that it suggests directions for those who develop rights advocacy programs for the mentally ill.

본 연구는 전문대학 인문사회 전공인 유아교육과에서 융합형 캡스톤디자인 정규교과목을 운영하고, 그 결과물이 특허출원 및 등록이라는 유의미한 지식재산권 확보까지 이어질 수 있는 사례를 제시하였다. 예비유아교사인 학생들은 실습 등의 주요경험을 바탕으로 영유아 관련 현장 전반에 걸친 문제해결을 위한 아이디어를 도출하면서, 기존의 지식재산권 아이디어와 중복되는 부분을 검증하였다. 수행과정의 멘토링을 위한 산업체연계 및 융합형 과제수행을 위한 공학전문가의 참여가 진행되었으며, 이후 정교화과정을 거친 후 교내대회 수상작품들 중 5개팀이 특허출원 및 등록이라는 성과를 만들어낸 과정을 담았다. 이를 통해 창의적이고 실무역량이 중심이 되는 교육과정을 넘어 지식재산권 확보 성과까지 연계되는 융합형 캡스톤디자인교육을 활성화하였다.

디지털화된 멀티미디어 컨텐츠는 고속의 디지털 네트워크를 통해 제작자로부터 소비자에게 직접 전달되는 형태로 변화하고 있으며, 아울러 디지털 컨텐츠를 보호하기 위한 저작권의 보호라는 커다란 문제와 직면하여 이를 보호하고 디지털 컨텐츠를 활성화하기 위한 노력이 한창 진행 중이다. 또한, 보다 효율적인 체계로의 변화를 요구하고 있는 상황에서 디지털 컨텐츠 분야의 비즈니스에 사용 될 기본적인 매개체인 저작권 문서의 효율성이 강조되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 컨텐츠를 제공하는 특정 시스템에 머무르지 않고 같은 목적을 가진 타 시스템과 컨텐츠를 공유하기 위한 범용적인 비즈니스 모델의 설계가 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 범용 디지털 컨텐츠에 적용 가능한 비즈니스 모델을 설계하였으며 설계된 비즈니스 모델에 따른 저작권 문서 편집 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

디지털 저작물의 전송환경이 빠른 속도로 바뀜에 따라서 디지털 저작물의 저작권 보호가 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다. DRM(Digital Right Management)은 디지털 저작자나 출판업자, 그리고 인터넷 서비스 제공자들에게 디지털 저작물을 접근하고 사용하는데 있어서 신뢰할수 있는 환경을 만들수 있는 관심있는 분야이다. 본 논문에서는 라이선스 에이전트를 이용하여 기존의 DRM 기법이 가지고 있는 정적인 DRM이나 온라인환경에 제한된 어플리케이션의 단점을 개선한 디지털 저작물의 보호기법에 대하여 제안한다. 제안된 논문은 동적인 DRM기법으로 동적인 요구 제어 기술을 바탕으로 라이선스 에이전트를 이용하여 온라인과 오프라인 환경에서 동시에 모니터링과 추적을 수행한다. 제안된 시스템은 PKI 보안 환경에서 사용자의 행동이나 데이터 보안을 실시간으로 감시하여 불법적인 접근과 사용을 막는다.

최근 디지털 컨텐츠에 대한 무분별한 저작권 기술개발로 인해 컨텐츠 제공자와 소비자들 사이에 호환성, 컨텐츠 보호, 컨텐츠 유통 등의 문제가 야기되고 있다. 따라서 MPEG(Moving Picture Expert Group)-21 프레임워크는 저작권 관리를 위해 XML(extensible Markup Language)에 기반한 저작권 표현 언어인 REL(Right Expression Language)을 제안하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 MPEG-21 프레임워크의 이해 없이도 쉽게 컨텐츠에 대해 효율적으로 저작권 생성 및 편집이 가능한 REL 문서 편집 시스템과 REL 문서의 소비 방법을 제시하는 클라이언트 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

웹 기술의 발전에 따라 누구나 인터넷을 통하여 다양한 종류의 정보와 미디어를 액세스할 수 있게 되었으나 이러한 접근은 저작권과 소유권 침해를 유발할 수 있다. 콘텐츠가 다운 로드된 이후에 콘텐츠를 보호할 수 있는 방안으로 콘텐츠에 대한 저작권을 보호하기 위해 DRM(Digital Rights Management) 기술이 연구되고 있는 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 상에서 라이센스를 기반으로 하여 창조자, 배포자, 구매자 같은 유통단계의 각 참여자의 디지털 콘텐츠에 대한 저작권을 보호할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 DRM 시스템이 배포자와 구매자사이의 유통을 지원하는 반면 본 시스템은 창조자에서 구매자로 이어지는 모든 유통 체인을 온라인으로 처리한다.
