재활용 패션의 미적 특성 연구 (A Study on the Aesthetic Characteristics of Recycle Fashion)

  • Recycle fashion is suggested to the suitable alternative of the environmental problem and the exhaustion of natural resources. The purpose of this study is focused on trying to comprehend between design characteristics and aesthetic values of recycle fashion design and those from fashion brands, fashion designers, and the public. For such purpose, 1553 photos of recycle fashion design which appeared in web-site, newspaper, fashion magazines between 2002 and 2007 were analyzed. Method of analysis did content analysis. The results of the research can be summarized as follows. First, design characteristics of recycle fashion were expressed by Junk Recycle Look, Vintage Recycle Look, Contemporary Recycle Look, Artisanal Recycle Look. Second, the expression methods of recycle fashion were presented reuse, reform, and regeneration. Third, aesthetic values of recycle fashion can be explained by the promotion of environment, the variableness, and the deconstruction.

환경가구 디자인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Environmental Furniture)

  • Environmental furniture comprises an independent design branch as distinguished from he design of street furniture. Environmental furniture helps people enjoy outdoor relaxation and cultural activities by creating convenient facilities and plays a part as the medium connecting environment and living. As a tool effecting all outdoor living conditions including home and public environment, it helps people lead a convenient and safe outdoor life. It is an important element that contributes to the image of outdoor scenery. Therefore, the design of environmental furniture should : 1)consider environment including 3R(Recycle, Reuse and Reduce) which makes harmony with nature without destroying it. 2)seek qualitative improvement by using environmental friendly materials and continuously developing new materials. 3)be assisted by the administrative support from the government to make the environmental furniture design an integral part of the city plan. The quality of a city environment will be greatly improved when people's interest in and their changed view towards environmental furniture is effected.

  • This paper presented a FPGA design of SEED, which is the Korea standard 128-bit block cipher. In this work, SEED was designed technology- independently for other applications such as ASIC or core-based designs. Hence in case of changing the target of design, it is not necessary to modify design or need only minor modification to reuse the design. Since SEED algorithm requires a lot of hardware resources, each unit was designed only once and used sequentially. So, the number of gates was minimized and SEED algorithm was fitted in FPGA without additional components. It was confirmed that the rate of resource usage is about 80% in ALTERA 10KE and the SEED design operates in a clock frequency of 131.57 MHz and an encryption rate of 29 Mbps.

메커니즘 설계 대안의 개념적 합성: 사례 기반 접근 방법 (Conceptual Synthesis of Design Alternatives for Mechanism Design: A Case-Based Approach)

  • This paper proposes a case-based approach to the conceptual design of mechanism, especially of the generation of design alternatives in function generation and motion transmission tasks. The aim of this work is to generate and provide various design alternatives by utilizing the previous design concepts underling in the existing design cases. The approach is based on the basic idea that the whole design concepts or sub-concepts extracted from different design cases can be merged to generate a variety of new design alternatives. The notion of virtual function generator is introduced to conceptualize and represent all possible underlying design concepts in the prior design cases. The virtual function generators are extracted in advance from the existing mechanism and serve as new conceptual building blocks for the synthesis of mechanism. Various design alternatives are generated basically by merging tow virtual function generators that partially match the specified function. By utilizing the design concepts that have been effectively used in the previous design cases. he proposed approach could efficiently produce more feasible design concepts than from-scratch ones. The approach proposed in this paper is illustrated with a design example.

  • This research aims to find planning issues on reuse of an industrial heritage as a cultural cluster and to suggest planning factors which can be referred when designing the similar cases. Analysis standards were formed through reviewing of precedent literatures, and the selected cases(i.e Shanghai M50, Yokohama BankART1929, and Incheon ArtPlatform) were analyzed to identify both physical and nonphysical planning characteristics. By combining analyses, the following results were obtained; (1) The demand and supply of the arts coexist in one place, and the studios and galleries are designed with high ceilings; (2) The regional and historical characteristics are revealed from preserving major architectural elements of previous buildings, and open spaces are provided to promote a variety of activities for local residents; (3) Various strategies to overcome disadvantage in location are developed, and the concepts of design can be easily recognized by buildings' exterior as the reused industrial heritage and the cultural cluster; (4) Diverse supports for artists make it possible to gather many competent artists, and the cooperative networks among artists play a pivotal role in the development of cultural cluster; (5) The cluster runs educational programs reflecting the needs of local residents, and builds a strong relationship with the local community by supporting regional art industry or developing linked programs; (6) The cluster serves various functions such as cafes, pubs, restaurants, art shops, and bookstores, and hosts appealing events and festivals to attract many people even who are not interested in arts.

  • Component based design is perceived as a key technology for developing advanced real-time systems in a both cost- and time effective manner. Already today, component based design is seen to increase software productivity, by reducing the amount of effort needed to update and maintain systems, by packaging solutions for re-use, and easing distribution. Nowdays, a thousand and one companies in If(Information Technology) industry such as Sl(System Integration) and software development companies, regardless of scale of their projects, has spent their time and endeavor on developing reusable business logic. The component software is the outcome of software developers effort on overcoming this problem; the component software is the way propositioned for quick and easy implementation of software. In addition, there has been lots of investment on researching and developing the software development methodology and leading If companies has released new standard technologies to help with component development. For instance, COM(Component Object Model) and DCOM(Distribute COM) technology of Microsoft and EJB(Enterprise Java Beans) technology of Sun Microsystems has turned up. Component-Based Development (CBD) has not redeemed its promises of reuse and flexibility. Reuse is inhibited due to problems such as component retrieval, architectural mismatch, and application specificness. Component-based systems are flexible in the sense that components can be replaced and fine-tuned, but only under the assumption that the software architecture remains stable during the system's lifetime. In this paper, It suggest that systems composed of components should be generated from functional and nonfunctional requirements rather than being composed out of existing or newly developed components. about implements and accomplishes the modeling for the Product Control component development by applying CCD(Contract-Collaboration Diagram), one of component development methodology, to MRP(Material Requirement Planning) System

목질바닥재의 벽재사용에 따른 연소특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Combustion Characteristic of the Using Wood Flooring as Wall Material)

  • Increasing concerns of environment need to make change furniture field to more environmentally friendly approach, such as reuse of by-products from wooden products. As it is, the methods of recycling wood for industrial purposes have the advantage of productivity and adaptability. However, the industrial way is required a certain production facility of processing wooden by-products and has possible hygienic problems due to contaminated sources. Many designers have developed their own methods for reuse of wood in unique and artistic ways. Even so, because of confined sources, it could be not enough supply. Therefore, I developed the design methodology utilizing wooden by-products from S Design Company to relieve former ways' problems. The design suggestion took materials from a safe and abundant source. The wooden leftover pieces were connected together with epoxy clay, so previous process traces of furniture are remained as a decorative factor. Moreover, the synthesized material was able to be processed by ordinary woodworking facilities without additional installations. In doing so, console table focused on a commercial purpose and dining table for an artistic objective were successfully fabricated as final suggestions. In consideration of the proposal using wooden furniture leftovers, diverse recycling designs should be investigated for future reference.

A Study on the Standard Architecture of Weapon Control Software on Naval Combat System

  • 무장통제 소프트웨어는 무장체계와 연동하여 함정 전투체계 내 무장 운용을 지원하는 기능을 수행한다. 무장통제 소프트웨어는 무장체계에 의존적이므로 연동 정보 변화에 따라 소프트웨어 수정이 필연적으로 이뤄지는 특성을 가진다. 소프트웨어의 수정은 신뢰성 시험과 같은 검증 단계를 반드시 거쳐야 하므로 개발 비용의 상승을 초래한다. 본 논문에서는 기존 무장통제 소프트웨어의 수정 요소를 최소화하기 위해 무장통제 소프트웨어 표준 아키텍처를 설계하였다. 연동 정보 관리를 위해 휘처 모델(Feature Model)로 공통요소와 가변요소를 구분하였고 디자인패턴 중 전략 패턴(Strategy Pattern)을 적용하여 소프트웨어 구조를 개선하였다. 소프트웨어 평가 실험을 통해 제안한 아키텍처가 기존 무장통제 소프트웨어보다 개발 비용이 감소하고 변경용이성과 재사용성이 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

A Study on the Design Plan of Naval Combat System Software to Reduce Cost of Hardware Discontinuation Replacement

  • 본 논문에서는 함정 전투관리체계 소프트웨어 중 하나인 TV비디오 소프트웨어의 구조를 분석하고, 함정 하드웨어 단종대체로 인한 소프트웨어 수정을 최소화하는 표준 아키텍처를 제안한다. 하드웨어 변경에 따른 TV비디오 소프트웨어의 가변요소와 공통요소를 휘처 기반 재사용 방법(FORM:Feature-Oriented Reuse Method)을 통해 함정 전투관리체계와 통신하고 TV화면을 전시하는 공통 부분과 운용자와 TV카메라 사이의 통신을 하는 가변부분을 분리하여 함정 하드웨어 단종대체 시 수정되는 클래스가 최소화 되도록 클래스 구조를 새롭게 설계하였다. 또한, Strategy 디자인 패턴을 적용하여 하드웨어 단종대체 시 하드웨어 종속 API를 직접 사용하는 클래스를 효율적으로 추가 및 수정하고, 단종품과 대체품 모두 사용가능한 소프트웨어가 되도록 설계하였다. 마지막으로 기존 TV비디오 소프트웨어와 제안하는 TV비디오 소프트웨어의 신뢰성시험 수행 시간 및 기능시험 수행 시간을 측정하여 비교하였고, 최종적으로 하드웨어 단종대체 비용이 감소된 것을 확인하였다.

소프트웨어 재사용시의 인지과정상에 나타난 내적표상의 구조적 불일관성 (STRUCTURAL INCONSISTENCY OF INTERNAL REPRESENTATIONS OF COGNITIVE PROCESSES OF SOFTWARE REUSE)

  • 이글의 목적은 유추에 의한 사상(analogical mapping)과 규칙계발(rule development)이란 측면에서 소프트웨어의 재사용이 가진 인지과정상의 특성을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해서 소프트웨어 재사용시 나타나는 비일관적인 표상이 인지과정에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해서 원문제(source problems) 와 표적문제(targent problems)그리고 그들 문제의 해(solution)로서의 프로그램에 대한 내적표상을 조작한다. 본 연구를 의한 실험은 두자인 요인으로 구성된다-1)원문제와 표적문제사이의 구조적인 일관성의 정도(the degree of structural consistency), 2)원문제와 그해사이의 구조적인 일관성의 정도-프로토출으 분석결과는 위의 두용인이 원/표적사이의 사상(mapping)의 인지과정,규칙계발과정, 그리고 유추에 의한 사상과 규칙계발사이의 상호관계에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수있다. 마지막으로 소프트웨어 재사용에 대한 이상의 결과를 통해서 나타나는 시준점이 가진 의미를 알아본다.
