In this paper, we introduce the history and the present status of the Mathematics Genealogy Project (MGP). The cases of David Hilbert and the first author were used to show how it works. As an example, we explain how to gain useful information such as the granting year of mathematics Ph. D degree holders, the title of dissertation, advisors and descendants from the MGP website. Through a survey of three different groups in MGP on 20~30 significant Korean mathematicians, we found that Korean records in the academic genealogy project are missing or poorly presented in the database of the MGP website. In conclusion, we found a way to improve the situation and provide instructions to submit our information to MGP. We expect our effort can help Korean mathematics and mathematicians to become better exposed to the world. It will help others to understand both the modern history and the future prospect of Korean mathematics.
Rituals for burying the tae(胎) is a unique royal tradition of Korea that lasted from Unified Shilla(統一新羅) Kingdom to Joseon(朝鮮) dynasty. However, all of the currently known taesil(胎室)s are of the royal descendants of Joseon dynasty. Therefore, Taesils made earlier than Joseon dynasty are only known by historical documents. Taesils of the royal descendants of Joseon Dynasty divide into two kinds. One is for those of princes and princesses and the other is for those of Kings. The structure of taesils of princes and princesses is a stone chest(石函) in a pit which dug on the apex of the Taebong(胎峰) containing a pair of Tae(胎)-urn(the inner urn and outer urn), a stone tablet called Jiseok(誌石) which the date of baby's birth and Tae burial is inscribed in. And a tombstone-shaped stone tablet which called Taesilbi(胎室碑) was built on the ground. And the underground structure of Taesils of Kings is identical with that of taesils of princes and princesses, but instead of just an stone tablet, this has a Budo(浮屠);means stupa of a monk in korean)-shaped stone structure on the top of the stone chest, and an octagon-shaped porch was built around it, and a Tapbi(塔碑) was built. This treatise is focused on the current status and change process of stone ornaments. The subject of this treatise is 54 Taesils which were transferred to Seosamnung(西三陵) during the japanese occupation and Tae-urns and Jiseok(誌石)s from any other Taesil and its stone chest were not included in this treatise. Researches on Taesils can be great help to history by providing resources about genealogy of Jaseon royal family and social, economical status of that time. And researches on stone ornaments and tae-urns from Taesils can provide great help to stone art history and porcelain history of Joseon dynasty.
This study examined the investment in human capital of Korean urban households. Data for this study were from the 2001 Household Income and Expenditure Survey and consisted of a sample of 2,681 households. The results of Gini's concentration coefficient showed high inequality of investment in human capital. To investigate which factors influence investments in human capital, various socio-demographic variables were analysed. High investment in human capital is shown in high society indicating that they transmit the advantage of education to their descendants. The results of this study is useful for welfare professionals who work in family well-being.

As cultural Heritages are source of the national history and a life transition, their extinction is a fatal shock as result of cutoff the genealogy of the creative national spirit. So, we have necessarily to protect them, and to get the duty and the responsibility which the cultural inheritance hands over tnem to descendants with preserving and meaning safely at present time. In these days, the risk of fire in the Cultural Heritages building is increased because of rash changing environments from the indiscreet development of them. Accordingly, in order to get the original transmission of the Cultural Heritages, this paper involves being intensive the fire safety information of the Cultural Heritage in kyonggi-do province, analyzing their diagnoses, and studying a Fire Safety Prevention Management model to protect and to maintain them continuously. The Korean economic condition needs continuous development of the marine product industries basically, and for this purpose a study on the education and training system of the technical manpower for this field is required. Moreover, the sea and its resources are not only to be utilized these days but also to be conserved for our descendants. To achieve this goal, the national support and the people's understanding on the marine product industries are very important at the first, and also the fisheries education must be activated to educate and train the technical manpower who will engage in this industrial field in the future. Especially it is necessary to develop and operate the most appropriate curricula drawn up inconsideration of each local characteristics for the fisheries education at the middle schools and high schools in Korea.
An XML is an markup language which has been focused on the next generation Web programming language. It easily represents the complex structure of a document, and it is possible to provide the access control over each component of an XML document. An implicit authorization technique means that granting an authorization to a node has effect on granting the same implicit authorization to its all descendants. Therefore, it enhances the time for the authorization grant and reduces the memory required for the authorization information. An authorization technique using an intention type and a authorization replacement solves a redundancy problem and decides whether the access is possible or the authorization conflict occurs at the first attempt.
King Heonjong was the twenty-fourth King of the Joseon Dynasty. He took the throne when he was only 8 years old, and had to go through power politics of maternal relations. During his period, situations worsened in both domestic and foreign affairs, meaning the beginning fall of the Joseon Dynasty. In respect to the diseases and treatments of King Heonjong, there appeared very few articles compared with the previous Kings, in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, the Journal of Royal Secretariat, and the Diary of Kings of the Joseon Dynasty. He caught small pox and recovered in 10 days at the age of 17. Some articles showed that he suffered from symptom of indigestion, dyspepsia and edema. He died at 23 and had no descendants. We assume that the cause of death was due to worsening of kidney failure.
This paper presents a case study of the Muslim diaspora through comparative analysis of Islamic tombstones from the Southeast Coast of China under Mongol rule. The locations of the nisbas in the Islamic tombstones are widely dispersed, covering Xinjiang, Transoxiana, Iran, Khorasan, Khwarazm, Armenia, Syria, Palestine, and Arabia. Unexpectedly, we did not find a single named location from India or Southeast Asia. It is well known that notable descendants of distinguished families traditionally produced officials, intellectuals, and wealthy merchants, and surrendered to the Mongols during the war against the Qara Khitai Khanate and the Khwarazm Empire. There were a great number of appointed officials with Muslim names in the Jianghuai (around Lower Yangtze) and Fujian regions. This is consistent with the concentration of epitaphs written in Arabic on the southeast coast of China. The frequent use of the specific tradition of the prophet Muhammad associating the death of the exile with martyrdom in Islamic tombstones in Quanzhou, Hangzhou, and Yangzhou indicates that the Muslims in these port cities eventually established an interregional or diasporic identity of Muslim foreighners whoimmigrated into the region.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the concept of familial scoliosis through eight cases. Methods : The family tree was constructed with eight cases which was diagnosed idiopathic scoliosis by physical examination and radiological study. Results : According to the family tree of this sibs, idiopathic scoliosis apparently behaves as an autosomal dominant inheritance. As to parents and grandparents, although they are not confirmed the appearance of idiopathic scoliosis, we know that they transmit trait to their descendants as a genotype. Conclusions : This study is shown that idiopathic scoliosis has a familial condition and provided useful information that can be used early diagnosis and treatment with screen tests based on the family tree.

However, he did not indicate the concrete method of the four constitutional acupuncture. He only asked his descendants to study about it. 2. Methods Therefore, author of the thesis tries to describe the theory approach to the seletive method of four constitutional acupunture point based on ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Suse Bowon(東醫壽世保元)${\lrcorner}$ 3.
