치과기공사의 물질안전보건자료에 대한 인식 - 경기도 치과기공사를 중심으로 - (Recognition of the Material Safety Data Sheet of dental technicians - Focused on Gyeonggi-do Dental Technicians -)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to discover the recognition of dental technicians on MSDS and to research the furnishing rate of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) in dental laboratories. Method: 104 dental technicians who were self-written questionnaire. The results were analyzed by SPSS 12.0. The answers to the questionnaire underwent frequency analysis, chi-square test were performed. Results: The result of cross analysis on the occurrence of occupational diseases according to whether MSDS is furnished showed that the group with MSDS furnished had 37.8% of damages due to their occupation, but the group with MSDS unfurnished had 65.7% of damages due to their occupation, which displayed a significant difference(p<0.05). The result of cross analysis on whether the education about chemicals according to whether MSDS is furnished showed there were relatively more responses of no education on the types and characteristics of chemicals, the effect on human body and its risk, emergency measure when exposed to risk, the treating and storing methods and the disposal methods. In addition, there were significant differences on whether all the above education was done between the group with MSDS furnished and the group without MSDS(p<0.000). Conclusion: In order to secure safe working environment of dental technicians and to reduce occurrence of damage caused by chemicals, the related education is necessary. The recognition of dental technicians on MSDS and furnishing rate is increasing but still insufficient, so the related organizations need to establish education and PR measures for prevention of damage.

일부 치과기공사의 여가만족도 및 관련요인에 대한 연구 (A Study of the relevant factors affecting the satisfaction of leisure activities among the dental technicians)

  • This study explored the status of free time activities among the dental technicians who are working at Seoul, Gyonggido, and Gangwondo. On the basis of this research, we aim to present needs and applicable solutions to improve the working conditions and enhance the quality of life through more effective time management in free time activities that lead to their self development and far more enriched life. 500 subjects were randomly chosen and the questionary sheets were provided. Among them, 305 sheets were returned to be analysed through SPSS Win 10.0 software and the results are as follows; First, mean in the satisfaction of leisure activities was 3.44(SD=.73). Mean in sub categories was as follows; psychological factor(M=3.65, SD=.71), social factor(M=3.54, SD=.75), rest factors(M=3.52, SD=.63), physical factor(M=3.43, SD=.88), other factors(M=3.40, SD=.66), circumstantial factor(M=3.33, SD=.63), educational factor(M=3.24, SD=.73). Second, the most relevant sub categories in the satisfaction of leisure activities were social, educational, physical, and other circumstantial factors by sequence. Factors that affect leisure activities satisfaction were career and status of health, which shows statistical significance(p<.001). That is to say, contention of this study is that the general characteristics are closely related with and affect the types and the level of satisfaction in leisure activities of the subjects. Considering these results, the dental businesses and the associations of dental technicians should recognize the needs to improve the time management through more efficient cooperations between dentists and back office dental team, systemized working time, and introduction of incentive system among others. On the basis of this appreciation, the dental business should provide more time and various opportunities with the dental technicians. Dental technicians also need to reconsider their appreciations of leisure activities, that is, leisure activities are not just spending time doing something but they refresh them and enable them to be more active and faithful to home and work.

치과기공사의 조직몰입이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of dental technician's organizational commitment on the turnover intention)

  • Purpose: This study was carried out in order to examine organizational commitment in dental technicians and turnover intention level according to it, and to analyze its effects. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire survey was carried out by having convenience sampling as 200 dental technicians. An analysis of the collected data was computationally processed by using SPSS Win 19.0 program. An analytical technique was made by using statistical techniques such as frequency & percentage, t-test, One-way ANOVA analysis. The following are the analytical results of the collected materials. Results: In consequence of analyzing organizational commitment level in research subjects, there was a significant difference in the items for age, task field, job position in charge, career in dental laboratory technology, and monthly income(p<.05). The average of the item for organizational commitment level stood at 3.29, thereby having been indicated to be high. As a result of analyzing turnover intention level in research subjects, there was a significant difference in the items for task field, job position in charge, career in dental laboratory technology, and monthly income(p<.05). The average of the item for turnover intention reached 3.04, thereby having appeared to be relatively high. As for a correlation between organizational commitment and turnover intention, all variables were shown to have inverse correlation at a significant level. In consequence of conducting regression analysis in order to analyze the influence of organizational commitment upon turnover intention, a factor of having the most impact on turnover intention appeared to be normative commitment. The test value of the model was statistically significant. The explanation power about this was indicated to be 26.9%. Conclusion : In the above findings, the dental technicians are considered to need to be immersed in work with a sense of mission in performing job in charge, to strive to possibly have an opportunity of achievement and self-growth, and to perform a research and development in a manpower management strategy such as turnover prevention.

치과기공사의 직무만족 요인이 이직의사에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis of the effect of dental technicians' job satisfaction factor on turnover intention)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to determine dental technicians' job satisfaction levels and to assess its influence on turnover intention. Methods: We included 230 dental technicians who work within Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, the Gyeonggi Province, and the Chungcheongnam-do Province. We carried out a self-reported survey using a structured questionnaire. Results: As a result of assessing the research subjects' job satisfaction level, we found that there was a significant difference in working hours and a dental-work continuing plan sphere (p<0.05). Achievement & self-realization factors, the human relation factor, and growth & development factors were reported to be major job satisfaction indices. The whole average of the job satisfaction level came to 3.11, thereby appearing to be relatively high. In analyzing the research subjects' turnover intention, there was a significant difference in age, task field, dental-work career, working hours, incumbency, and dental-work continuing plan sphere (p<0.05). The question average for turnover intention was 2.88. As a result of assessing a correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention, a significant negative (-) correlation was found between job satisfaction and turnover intention. Thus, a higher job satisfaction level was observed to lead to a lower turnover intention. Conclusion: As a result of conducting a regression analysis in order to assess the influence of job satisfaction on a turnover intention, a working condition factor, a human relation factor, and a recognition factor each appeared to have a high impact.

치과기공사에 있어서 직무만족도와 삶의 질의 관련성 (The Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Quality of Life in Dental Technicians)

  • This study was carried out to measure job satisfaction and quality of life and to clarify the factors in job satisfaction which influence on quality of life of dental technicians, using developed tools for job satisfaction and WHOQOL-BREF for quality of life. The subjects for this study were 238 people who worked the in the Daegu-Kyungbuk area. The results of this study were as follows; the general characteristics that influenced job satisfaction, were especially education, hobbies, salary level, job career and work hours. The factors that influenced the quality of life, were especially Married status, hobbies, job position, and office hours. All subfactors in job satisfaction were related to each other. Growth-development factor was intensely related with recognition factor. Also, all subfactors in quality of life were in positive relation to each other, especially psychological domain was highly related with social domain. Factors of safety, recognition and accomplishment in job satisfaction intensely affected quality of life. Therefore, It is suggested that social recognition for dental technician should be promoted and it might be needed to adjust office hours and support hobby life.

  • The objective of the research which it sees life style of the individual and is the stroke engineering military merit satisfaction to examine the relationship. That Adler talked, it classified life style with the socially useful type, the ruling type, the getting type and the avoiding type. This governing form of the socially useful type sees, the ruling type grew the getting type and the avoiding type compared to military merit satisfactory boat song. Like this results military merit satisfactory degree of stroke engineering school lifestyle professionalism as dental technician company route period operates with the VIP who is important for is the thing. The research of the program development for the course map and the military merit duty selection map of restricted point and stroke engineering school lifestyle of the research which it sees discussed is necessary. The results are as following. 1. the types of Life-style ; the ruling type 31.3%, the getting type & the avoiding type 27.4%, the negative social type 26.6%, the socially useful type 14.8%. 2. the Major satisfaction ; the socially useful type 3.59, the ruling type 3.55, the negative social type 3.51, the getting type and the avoiding type 3.35. 3. the Campus life satisfaction ; the socially useful type 3.39, the ruling type 3.32, the negative social type 3.24, the getting type and the avoiding type 3.12.

모바일환경에서의 치과환자 구강영상 관리체계 개발 (Development of Dental Image Management System based on Mobile Computing)

  • 본 연구는 최근 들어 급속히 보급이 확산된 스마트폰을 이용하여 이를 치료실과 기공소간의 정보공유체계와 연계 활용하는 방안을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 최근 모바일 플랫폼 기반의 개발환경을 소개하고 안드로이드 기반의 환자정보 공유체계의 주요 기능을 정의하여 이를 사용자 인터페이스의 설계를 통해 구현 하였다. 이를 실무에 적용한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 스마트폰 등 현재 이슈가 되고 있는 정보화 기반기술을 치기공계에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. 2. 환자의 구강에 대한 영상촬영 시 카메라와 PC를 연결하여 전송하는 프로세스를 개선함으로서 치료 실내의 정보 활용성이 개선되었다. 3. 환자의 구강정보는 촬영 즉시 서버로 전송되므로 영상화일의 오류를 저감할 수 있었다. 4. 임상에서의 보철물 제작 시 스마트폰에 보철물 이미지를 표출한 상태로 작업함으로서 작업의 효율성이 개선되었다.

하악전방이동 코골이 장치의 수직 교합량이 상기도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of MAD Snoring Design on Pharyngeal Airway Dimension)

  • 본 연구에서는 하악전방이동 코골이 장치의 종류에 따라 최소한의 수직 교합량을 각각 다르게 확보하여 1급 교합을 가진 대상이 각 장치를 착용한 뒤, 수직 교합량이 하악의 위치, 근육의 변화, 혀의 위치등을 부가적으로 변화시켜 상기도의 면적에 영향을 주는 지 알아보고자 하였다. 수직량이 높을수록 상기도의 면적은 감소했으며, 혀의 위치를 후방으로 처지지 않게 할수록 상기도의 면적이 증가함을 알 수 있다. 코골이 감소를 위해 의사들은 환자들의 교합관계를 정확하게 진단하여 그 교합에 맞는 하악전방이동 코골이 장치를 선택해야 하고, 선택된 장치를 제작하는 치과 기공사 또한 장치의 효과를 높이기 위해 수직 교합량, 후방연 설정과 장치의 두께 등 디자인 설정을 고려해야 한다.

  • Many concept of occlusion have been introduced in the past, but there isn't any generally accepted unified theory since a single occlusion theory cannot represent the natural perfection, especially considering the difference in clinical experience, the dynamic occlusion, and individual diversity in mastication pattern. NAT(Naturgemasse Aufwachstechnik)/NFR((Natur Funktionsgerechte Rekonstruktion) occlusion is not just a theory on occlusion, but a clinical occlusion that can be practically applied to clinical practice by providing dynamic occlusion adjusted to the individual mastication pattern and biomechanics. This report aims to provide a guide to a clinically biomechanical occlusion through the teamwork of both the dentist and the lab technician by introducing the NAT occlusion through following: reviewing the concept of occlusion in terms of morphology, its correlation with NAT/NFR occlusion, reviewing the limitation of conventional occlusion theories, and introducing the clinical application of NAT/NFR.

고정성 보철물 및 자연치열을 위한 교합조정 (Occlusal Adjustment in the Natural and Restored Dentition)

  • When treating the occlusion the dentist must ensure that patients do not develop an occlusal awareness or neurosis after therapy. This means that after treatment patients should not be conscious of the dentition at rest, in occlusion, or during function. Butactually this goal is not easy to reach in daily practice. The dental technician works with rigid casts and dies that do not move. The dentist must use fixed prostheses that have been made in a laboratory setting in a clinical environment that is significantly different. In this article relativey easy cast adjustment technique which can decrease the time necessary to clinically adjust the occlusion of newly fabricated fixed prostheses, and actual occlusal equilibration technique for natural and restored dentition will be discussed.
