레일리 페이딩 채널에 대한 이중 홉 증폭 후 전달 릴레이 시스템의 새로운 분석 기법 (New Analytical Approach for Dual-hop AF Relay systems over Rayleigh Fading Channels)

  • 본 논문에서는 이중 홉 증폭 후 전달(AF: Amplify-and-Forward) 릴레이 시스템에 대한 새로운 성능 분석 기법을 레일리 페이딩 채널에 대하여 제안한다. 기존의 분석 기법들에서는 S-R-D(Source-Relay-Destination) 링크의 수신 신호 대 잡음비(SNR: Signal-to-Noise Ratio)에 대한 누적 분포 함수(CDF: Cumulative Distribution Function) 혹은 확률 밀도 함수 (PDF: Probability Density Function)로부터 모멘트 발생 함수(MGF: Moment Generating Function)를 유도한 후 평균 심벌 오류율을 유도된 MGF를 이용하여 표현하였다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 분석과 다른 새로운 접근법을 제안한다. 즉, S-R(Source-Relay) 링크 및 R-D(Relay-Destination) 링크의 PDF들로부터 S-R-D 링크에 대한 MGF를 직접 유도한다. 그리고 새롭게 유도된 MGF을 기존의 연구들에서 제시한 형태와 비교 분석한다. 또한 제안된 성능분석 기법의 정확성은 모의실험을 통하여 검증한다. 이를 통하여 제안된 분석 기법이 이중 홉 증폭 후 전달 릴레이 시스템에 대한 새로운 해를 제시함을 확인한다.

경유차량 배출물질의 노출과 폐기능의 상관성 연구 (Diesel Exhaust Particle Exposure and its Pulmonary Function Effects)

  • Traffic-related air pollutants and particulates from diesel exhaust cause for increasing respiratory health problem. Recent epidemiologic studies have reported adverse effects of urban air pollution on various aspects of respiratory health. Bus or truck terminal workers have high probability of exposure to diesel exhaust particle than general office worker. This study was designed to evaluate the relationship between pulmonary function of people who working at the high-density area of diesel vehicles and pulmonary function of people who working at general office in Seoul. So, this study explored the effects on people with exposure to diesel traffic or exposure to diesel traffic, through the pulmonary function test (PFT). There were significant difference in Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) and Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 second ($FEV_1$) between high-exposure group and control. High-exposure to diesel particle were increased risk of reduction in pulmonary function in this study. These results provide the necessity additional research that manage people who working at the high-density area of diesel vehicles.

대학기숙사 교육기능공간의 매개변수를 통한 인과분석 (Causal Analysis of Education Function Space Parameters of University Dormitory)

  • This study aims to examine the educational function space of university dormitories at local universities with corridor centered structure in Honam area regions based on direct and indirect parameters on the whole satisfaction of users in residential environment factors and personal characteristics. First, according to relations among parameters, educational and cultural activities of four major activities within the dormitory had indirect influences on social activities, eating and sleeping activities had no direct influence on other activities. And social activity had direct influence on the general satisfaction as an important parameter and educational and cultural activities had indirect influence on the whole satisfaction through social activities. Detailed results show that, in the first educational activities directly affecting the lighting and air conditioning facilities (0.22), safety (0.326), Territoriality (0.327), the space density (-0.167), directions (-0.166) and yeohyang having personal characteristics and the safety of the second cultural activities (0.183), Territoriality (0.361), Aesthetics (-0.13) and the personal characteristics Sex (-0.179), the direct effect, third, and erosion has a direct impact on activity The flexibility of the space factor (-0.128) and Territoriality (0.38) and the personal characteristics grade (0.172), respectively. Fourth in social activities directly affecting the pathfinding (-0.104), and parameter, education (0.388) and cultural activities (0.445), and some of the factors affecting the indirect lighting and air conditioning facilities, safety, and Territoriality, the space density, directions, grade, they could influence through educational activities to be analyzed. That is, territoriality in educational function space is the important factor that users react very sensitively in educational, eating and sleeping activities and educational function space must secure area and division considering personal and public use as the space accommodating activity which is lacking in unit residential space. Accordingly, the safety of educational function space in university dormitory is considered as the fundamental safety matter on the fire prevention, hygiene and cleanness for users in the satisfaction of educational and cultural activities.

곰솔 해안방재림의 형상비를 고려한 밀도 관리의 필요성과 방안 (The Necessity and Method of Stand Density Control Considering the Shape Ratio of Pinus thunbergii Coastal Disaster Prevention Forests in South Korea)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라 서 남 동해안 및 제주도 총 123개소의 곰솔 해안방재림 실태조사 결과와 국내 외 사례와의 비교를 토대로 형상비를 고려한 밀도 관리의 필요성과 방안을 검토하기 위하여 실시하였다. 곰솔의 형상비(수고/흉고직경)는 서 남 동해안에서 임목밀도와 정의 상관을 보이며, 서해안은 평균 66.32로 남해안 49.57, 동해안 48.19 및 제주도 48.29에 비하여 현저히 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 서해안은 형상비 70이상인 곰솔 임분이 전체 개소수의 50%를 차지하여, 국내 외 사례와 비교할 때 방재기능의 저하가 우려되었다. 임목밀도는 동해안을 제외한 대부분 지역에서 우리나라 산림청 및 일본 삼림총합연구소의 기준보다 현저히 높은 과밀상태를 보여 밀도조절이 필요한 것으로 판단되었다. 우리나라 해안지역 곰솔의 생장 추정식에 의하면 해안방재림의 기능 저하를 방지하기 위하여 형상비가 급증하는 14년생 이하의 유령림에 대한 밀도관리가 중요한 것으로 시사되었다. 특히 곰솔림의 1차 솎아베기는 형상비 70을 초과하는 8년생 임분이 되기 전에 실시해야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 우리나라와 일본의 곰솔 밀도기준을 비교한 결과, 목재생산을 목표로 한 국내의 곰솔 밀도기준에 비하여 형상비를 고려한 일본의 기준은 방재기능이 비교적 취약한 흉고직경 20 cm이하의 유령림에 대해서는 보다 높은 임목밀도를 요구하는 것으로 나타났다. 현재 우리나라에는 곰솔 해안방재림의 적정 밀도기준이 없기 때문에 현지조사 결과를 토대로 방재기능에 중점을 두고 설정된 일본의 기준이 유효하게 활용될 수 있다고 판단되었다.

Fourier Series Approximation for the Generalized Baumgartner Statistic

  • Baumgartner et al. (1998) proposed a novel statistical test for the null hypothesis that two independently drawn samples of data originate from the same population, and Murakami (2006) generalized the test statistic for more than two samples. Whereas the expressions of the exact density and distribution functions of the generalized Baumgartner statistic are not yet found, the characteristic function of its limiting distribution has been obtained. Due to the development of computational power, the Fourier series approximation can be readily utilized to accurately and efficiently approximate its density function based on its Laplace transform. Numerical examples show that the Fourier series method provides an accurate approximation for statistical quantities of the generalized Baumgartner statistic.

  • 양분형 조건부가치평가모형의 준모수적 추정 방법을 소위 회귀함수 1차 도함수의 밀도가중평균(density weighted average derivative or regression function) 추정을 응용하여 제안한다. 논문에서 제안된 준모수 추정량의 소표본 특성은 몬데칼로 시뮬레이션 결과를 제시함으로써 간접적으로 나타난다. 또 추정량을 동강보존을 위한 지불용의액을 조사한 조건부가치평가자료에 실제 적용함으로써 현실 적용 가능성을 보여준다.

  • In this study, the basic concept of design response spectrum is briefly revi-ewed. To generate the artificial earthquake acceleration, the method of superpo-sition of cosine waves is used. Theoretical developments using F.F.T. and spect-ral density function are compared. The amplitude was derived by use of the peak factor and the phase angle is d-erived by use of Monte Carlo simulation. To smoothen the match, the calculated pseudo velocity respon-se spectrum is compared with input pseudo velocity response spectrum at a set of control frequencies. With the modified spectral density function, a new acceleration and pseudo velocity response spectrum are generat-ed.

  • A method to measure the crack length in rubbery materials is described. Through dimensional analysis and experiments, an equation is derived to give the crack length as a function of the change of strain energy density in a region remote from the crack. The function is provided in a form of separated terms of loading and material, the validity of which is experimentally proved using separation parameters.

소결분말금속의 항복함수 (A Yield Function for Sintered Porous Metals)

  • Several yield criteria for porous materials are compared with each other, defining the apparent yield stress as the yield stress of the porous material in simple compression. It was found that the plastic Poisson's ratio is the parameter needed to define the yield criterion, rather than the relative density. The plastic Poisson's ratio is regarded as a material characteristic that is obtained from a simple compression test. A new form of yield criterion was suggested, and it was applied to hydrostatic compression as well as uniaxial strain compression of sintered Al-2024 powder. The crossover point in the mean stress vs volume change curves of the processes was predicted. It is presented that the flow stress of the fully densed material can be obtained from that of the porous material using relations obtained from the yield criterion.

  • In this paper, we have proposed the contrast control method using brightness preserving on the FPD(Flat Panel Display). The proposed algorithms consist of three blocks: the contrast enhancement, the white-level-expander, and the black-level-expander. The proposed method has employed probability density function in order to control the brightness of the image changed extremely. In order for real-time processing, we have calculated cumulative density function using the linear approximation method. The image histogram and image quality were compared with the conventional image enhancement algorithms. The proposed methods have been used in display devices that need image enhancement such as LCD TV, PDP, and FPD.
