The purpose of this paper is to predict the future changes of housing through the Delphi technique. The targets to predict were set by housing type, housing space, housing demand, and architectural technology. The results were as follows: ① The influences of social and value perspectives on the change of housing type, space, and demand would be high, on the other hands, the influence of political perspective would be low. ② In terms of housing type, the increase in demand for downsizing housing for high-rise buildings and the possibility of realizing remote medical support services and homecare using big data are highly predicted. That is, ③ it is anticipated that IoTs will have a significant influences on future housing changes, and ④ enactment of co-housing and related laws by the sharing economy, services for maintenance through the supply of high-rise and high-density homes, housing support for residents, and advanced lease markets by developed architectural technology are expected as anticipated forms of future housing.

Recently, demand forecasting techniques have been actively studied due to interest in stable power supply with surging power demand, and increase in spread of smart meters that enable real-time power measurement. In this study, we proceeded the deep learning prediction model experiments which learns actual measured power usage data of home and outputs the forecasting result. And we proceeded pre-processing with moving average method. The predicted value made by the model is evaluated with the actual measured data. Through this forecasting, it is possible to lower the power supply reserve ratio and reduce the waste of the unused power. In this paper, we conducted experiments on three types of networks: Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and we evaluate the results of each scheme. Evaluation is conducted with following method: MSE(Mean Squared Error) method and MAE(Mean Absolute Error).

The emergence of the automated smart grid has become an essential device for responding to these problems and is bringing progress toward a smart grid-based society. Smart grid is a new paradigm that enables two-way communication between electricity suppliers and consumers. Smart grids have emerged due to engineers' initiatives to make the power grid more stable, reliable, efficient and safe. Smart grids create opportunities for electricity consumers to play a greater role in electricity use and motivate them to use electricity wisely and efficiently. Therefore, this study focuses on power demand management through machine learning. In relation to demand forecasting using machine learning, various machine learning models are currently introduced and applied, and a systematic approach is required. In particular, the GP learning model has advantages over other learning models in terms of general consumption prediction and data visualization, but is strongly influenced by data independence when it comes to prediction of smart meter data.

European and American countries are actively promoting eco-friendly cars to reduce exhaust emissions from internal combustion engines. In Korea, the "4th Basic Plan for Eco-Friendly Vehicles" aims to promote eco-friendly cars by improving charging infrastructure, expanding incentive systems, and targeting the supply of 1.13 million eco-friendly cars by 2025. As rapid growth in the number of electric vehicles sold is expected, estimates are required of this growth and corresponding power demands. In this study, the authors used a growth model to predict future growth in the electric vehicle market and a previously derived electricity generation model to estimate corresponding power demands up to 2036, the target year of the "10th Basic Plan for Power Supply and Demand". The results obtained provide useful basic research data for future electric vehicle infrastructure planning.
Changes in a marine environment have a broad socioeconomic implication on fisheries and their relevant industries so that there has been a growing demand for the medium-range (months to years) prediction of the marine environment Using a medium-range ocean prediction model (Ocean Mid-range prediction System, OMIDAS) for the northwest Pacific, this study attempted to assess seasonal difference in the mid-range predictability of the sea surface temperature (SST), focusing on the Korea seas characterized as a complex marine system. A three-month re-forecast experiment was conducted for each of the four seasons in 2016 starting from January, forced with Climate Forecast System version 2 (CFSv2) forecast data. The assessment using relative root-mean-square-error was taken for the last month SST of each experiment. Compared to the CFSv2, the OMIDAS revealed a better prediction skill for the Korea seas SST, particularly in the Yellow sea mainly due to a more realistic representation of the topography and current systems. Seasonally, the OMIDAS showed better predictability in the warm seasons (spring and summer) than in the cold seasons (fall and winter), suggesting seasonal dependency in predictability of the Korea seas. In addition, the mid-range predictability for the Korea seas significantly varies depending on regions: the predictability was higher in the East Sea than in the Yellow Sea. The improvement in the seasonal predictability for the Korea seas by OMIDAS highlights the importance of a regional ocean modeling system for a medium-range marine prediction.
Prior studies on technology predictions attempted to predict the emergence and spread of emerging technologies through the analysis of correlations and changes between data using objective data such as patents and research papers. Most of the previous studies predicted future technologies only from the viewpoint of technology development. Therefore, this study intends to conduct technical forecasting from the perspective of the consumer by using keyword search frequency of search portals such as NAVER before and after the introduction of emerging technologies. In this study, we analyzed healthcare technologies into three types : measurement technology, platform technology, and remote service technology. And for the keyword analysis on the healthcare, we converted the classification of technology perspective into the keyword classification of consumer perspective. (Blood pressure and blood sugar, healthcare diagnosis, appointment and prescription, and remote diagnosis and prescription) Naver Trend is used to analyze keyword trends from a consumer perspective. We also used the ARIMA model as a technology prediction model. Analyzing the search frequency (Naver trend) over 44 months, the final ARIMA models that can predict three types of healthcare technology keyword trends were estimated as "ARIMA (1,2,1) (1,0,0)", "ARIMA (0,1,0) (1,0,0)", "ARIMA (1,1,0) (0,0,0)". In addition, it was confirmed that the values predicted by the time series prediction model and the actual values for 44 months were moving in almost similar patterns in all intervals. Therefore, we can confirm that this time series prediction model for healthcare technology is very suitable.

Most of the stores of small business owners are those that use a large number of electrical devices, and in particular, there are many stores that use a cold storage system. In severe cases, there is a lot of power load on the store, which can cause a loss to the assets in the store as the power supply is cut off. Accordingly, in this paper, an LSTM-based power load prediction system was designed to measure the energy demand rate of stores and to save energy. Since it can be used as a data-based power saving system for small and medium-sized stores, it is expected to be used as a data-based power demand prediction system for small businesses in the future, and to be used in the field of preventing damage due to power load.

With the increase of motor vehicles and tourism demand, some traffic problems gradually appear, such as traffic congestion, safety accidents and insufficient allocation of traffic resources. Facing these challenges, a model of Spatio-Temporal Dilated Convolutional Network (STDGCN) is proposed for assistance of extracting highly nonlinear and complex characteristics to accurately predict the future traffic flow. In particular, we model the traffic as undirected graphs, on which graph convolutions are built to extract spatial feature informations. Furthermore, a dilated convolution is deployed into graph convolution for capturing multi-scale contextual messages. The proposed STDGCN integrates the dilated convolution into the graph convolution, which realizes the extraction of the spatial and temporal characteristics of traffic flow data, as well as features of road occupancy. To observe the performance of the proposed model, we compare with it with four rivals. We also employ four indicators for evaluation. The experimental results show STDGCN's effectiveness. The prediction accuracy is improved by 17% in comparison with the traditional prediction methods on various real-world traffic datasets.
Purpose Real estate usually takes charge of the highest proportion of physical properties which individual, organizations, and government hold and instability of real estate market affects the economic condition seriously for each economic subject. Consequently, practices for predicting the real estate market have attention for various reasons, such as financial investment, administrative convenience, and wealth management. Additionally, development of machine learning algorithms and computing hardware enhances the expectation for more precise and useful prediction models in real estate market. Design/methodology/approach In response to the demand, this paper aims to provide a framework for forecasting the real estate market with machine learning algorithms. The framework consists of demonstrating the prediction efficiency of each machine learning algorithm, interpreting the interior feature effects of prediction model with a state-of-art algorithm, LIME(Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanation), and comparing the results in different cities. Findings This research could not only enhance the academic base for information system and real estate fields, but also resolve information asymmetry on real estate market among economic subjects. This research revealed that macroeconomic indicators, real estate-related indicators, and Google Trends search indexes can predict real-estate prices quite well.

Construction industry has become a larger and highly competitive industry. A successful construction project cannot be achieved only by efficient and fast construction techniques but also reasonable material cost and adequate transferring time of materials to installation. The steel industry in East Asia has become the mainstream in overall steel industries in over the world during the middle of the 21st century. China, Japan and Korea has been the main exportation countries. However, even though the international economic failure, China has increased the exportation amount and became an only exporting country which must be considered a serious problem regarding competitiveness in the international steel exportation industry. Thus, this study analyses the factors affecting the supply and demand amount of reinforced bars in the domestic field and moreover suggesting a unit cost prediction model using the System Dynamics simulation methodology, one of powerful prediction tools using cause-effect relationships. It is expected that this study contributes to the domestic steel industry growth in competitiveness in the international industry. In addition, the methodology used in this paper presents the frameworks for appropriate tools for market trend analysis and prediction of other markets.
