온간 성형법을 이용한 스테인리스 버트 제품의 성형한계 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Drawing Limit in Stainless Butt Products using Warm Deep Drawing Process)

  • The rapid progress of automobile industry has led to a demand for sheet metal products and the new forming technology for complex product is required. In Deep Drawing process of steel sheet, especially stainless steel sheet at room temperture, some intermediate annealing need to be added to lessen strain hardening effect. The present study is concerned with the wram deep drawing of stainless steel sheet. In order to reduce the number of working process. the limit drawing ration is considered as main parameter. In this study, the effect of process variables such a sblank holder force, working temperature and lubricant on limit drawing ration is investigated . Experiments are carried out for the hemisherical and sqare shape at room and warm temperature respectively. The drawing loads and thickness deviation accoring to process variables measured . As the result of apploying those experimental data to the commerical butt product, the number of process can be reduced and good quality of products can be obtained.

기대지열온도하에서 GDHS의 경제성분석 사례연구 (A Case Study for the Economic Feasibility Model and Analysis of a GDHS Given Geothermal Temperature)

  • A GDHS(Geothermal District Heating System) is a heating system supplying a group of districts with heat extracted from geothermal sources. The advantages of GDHS include saving fuel consumption as well as reducing air pollution. This paper presents a case study for the economic feasibility model and analysis of a GDHS with which central/individual heating systems are replaced. Configuring to a simplified GDHS which consisits of subsurface systems, surface systems, and transmission/distribution systems, we find out the properties of the system and the model parameters affecting the initial investment/operating costs in order to develop a classical economic feasibility model given geothermal temperature. Based on our model parameter space, we analyzed the geothermal development project of the Jejoo Island probabilistically given prior information such as the expected geothermal power, the demand size and the length of transmission/distribution pipes.

  • This paper proposes a novel analysis method for calculating inverter DC bus capacitance and line reactor parameters. In the realization process, DC bus capacitance parameter, and ripple current, life of DC bus capacitor, interaction between DC bus capacitance can be calculated by using Newton-Raphson procedure. The design scheme of DC bus capacitor and line reactor, specific parameters such as capacitance, loss, ripple current, central average temperature, life, ripple current, loss, size, central temperature of the reactor were given. Simulation results show that this scheme can accurately calculate the DC bus capacitance and line reactor parameters. Compared with calculation result of references, cost and volume are half. The indicators meet the demand of practical engineering. It had affirmed precision of the analytical method and verified correctness and feasibility of this method.

  • SQP method is one of the most important methods for solving nonlinear programming. But it may fail if the quadratic subproblem is inconsistent. In this paper, we propose a modified nonmonotone filter trust region method in which the QP subproblem is consistent. By means of nonmonotone filter, this method has no demand on the penalty parameter which is difficult to obtain. Moreover, the restoration phase is not needed any more. Under reasonable conditions, we obtain the global convergence of the algorithm. Some numerical results are presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 위성통신을 이용한 방송 및 디지털 멀티미디어 서비스의 요구증대를 앞두고 20 GHz 이상의 높은 주파수 대역의 강우에 의한 전파 손실 예측 모델을 제안하고 강우량에 따른 감쇠 정도를 기존의 모델과 비교 분석 하였다. 본 논문에서는 Ka 대역에서 강우 감쇠 특성에서 이론치와 실험치가 접근함을 보이고 강우감쇠에 효과적인 기법을 제안하여 적응변조 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 제안 예측모델에서는 강우 강도를 기준으로 위성링크 설계를 위한 안테나 크기, 시스템의 불작동율 등에 대한 기본 자료를 Ka 대역 위성통신 시스템의 원활한 운영을 위해 제공한다.

  • The demand for steam generators is increasing in industrial systems in which the design strategy should be implemented for safe and efficient operation of steam generators. It is, however, difficult to design a controller by the conventional method because of the nonlinear dynamics of the steam generator and influences by the set value of disturbance. This paper presents an automatic parameter optimization technique for a multivariable fuzzy controller using evolutionary strategy, At first, we use the steady state information such as a steady state gain matrix(SSGM) and a relative gain matrix(RGM). We can obtain much information on the control inputs and the outputs of the boiler-turbine system from the matrices. In order to determine the structure of the controller by using RGM and SSGM, the fuzzy rules are trained by evolutionary strategy. The good performance of the proposed multivariable fuzzy controller is verified through simulations.

Optimization of the Processing Parameters for Green Banana Chips and Packaging within Polyethylene Bags

  • The demand of quality green banana chips is increasing in the world snacks market, therefore, the preparation of quality chips and their subsequent shelf life in packaging were evaluated in this study. Banana slices were fried in hot oil to the desired moisture content (2-3%) and oil content (40%) in chips at 3 different temperatures, and the impact of different pretreatments were compared by sensory assessment. A linear relationship between time and temperature was used to achieve the optimal processing conditions. Banana slices fried at the lower temperature of $145^{\circ}C$ took longer to reach the desired chip qualities, but gave the best results in terms of color and texture. Blanching was the most effective pre-treatment for retaining the light yellow color in finished chips. For extending the shelf life of chips, moisture proof packaging in double layer high density polyethylene was more effective than single layer low density polyethylene.

  • Design & Operation of power system for meeting increase of electric Power demand is becoming more difficult and complex. One of reasons is increase of fault current. As one of the most effective methods for suppressing the fault current installation of SFCL is expected. These paper describes a method of fault analyses of power system with SFCLs, and also discusses determination of specification of SFCLs, effects of limiting the fault current due to SFCLs by use of the model system of two - bus electric power system with single transmission lines.

  • the observations in situ and the seawater analyses were conducted in July and August, 1996 for the purpose of evaluating the characteristics of seawater quality centered on eutrophication in Mokpo harbour. By applying the OECD standards of trophic classification to the parameters such as secchi depth, total inorganic nitrogen, phosphate phosphorus and chlorophyll-a, the trophic level of seawater in Mokpo harbour was evaluated to be in eutrophic state in summer. By the estimation of pollution index with relation to eutrophication, the seawater quality of Mokpo harbour was evaluated to be under the regular grades and this evaluation was found to be different from the results of evaluation obtained by the environmental index of single parameter, chemical oxygen demand. By the estimation of eutrophication index, the seawaters of Mokpo harbour were shown to have the high potentiality of red tide occurrence.

  • This paper proposes a novel electrical characterization approach for a high-performance package system using an improved Partial Element Equivalent Circuit (PEEC). As the effect of interconnects becomes a pivotal factor for the performance of high-speed electronic systems, there is a great demand for an accurate equivalent model for interconnects. In particular, an equivalent model of interconnects is established in this paper for the Fine-Pitch Ball Grid Array (FBGA) package using the improved PEEC method. Based on the equivalent model, electrical characteristics are analyzed; furthermore, these are verified through the measurement results of a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
