공동주택 리모델링에 대한 거주자의 의식과 요구 (Needs and Wants of Apartment Housing Residents on Remodeling)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide guidelines for the remodeling understanding the needs of apartment housing residents. In order to achieve our goal, questionnaire surveys were used. We sampled the questionnaire surveys of the households in Seoul whose apartments had been more than ten years and recently remodeled. The materials collected by a questionnaire survey were analyzed by examining the frequency, percentage on the SPSS/PC+ Statistics package. The results of the questionnaire survey were as follows: (1) Residents tend to demand better environment than an economics benefits from remodeling. (2) Residents wanted to have organized the remodeling group that can help to solve the problems concerning profit and loss among residents. (3) Residents wanted to be supported by government, expand loans from monetary organizations, and have a reserve fund for the remodeling.

스타킹의 착용실태와 소비자 요구도 (Wearing Practices and Consumer Needs for Stockings)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate to wearing practices and consumer needs for stockings. 503 subjects were surveyed in 2002. Data were analyzed by frequency, $\chi$$^2$, ANONA(LSD) and factor analysis. The results were as follows; 1) Many subjects considered the colors, but a very few of them considered the components and handling signs when purchase their stockings. These tendencies show meaningful differences according to their ages, jobs and the status of whether they are married or single. The wearing rates of stockings show differences according to their physical characteristics and social demographical variables. 2) They demand that the exact fiber contents and the mixture ratios which the stockings have should be indicated, and also want the sizes of the stockings to be indicated by three steps according to their body sizes, and they ask that the stockings have more various colors. They required that the stockings should have good ventilation, durability, warmth-keeping, hygroscopicity and elasticity in leg parts, and anti static electricity or bacteria.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze customer needs for the configuration of an aircraft cockpit layout of a single piston propeller aircraft. From the result of survey, we figure out the demand of the potential customers. We consider control stick and instrument out of several items to determine which pay for the aircraft or not. We analyze types and features of the aircraft control stick and the instrument which are equipped in the same aircraft in order to figure out what is best needed through a market survey and a questionnaire survey.

Trends and Challenges of Using Welfare Technology in Elderly Care

  • There are several problems facing our society today that are caused by demographic changes, such as an increase in the ageing population. The rapid increase in the aging population leads to increases in medical costs and a higher demand for care services for the elderly. The needs and burdens associated with elderly care are growing, but the human resources and costs to meet these needs are limited. Welfare technology has been suggested as an effective way to solve the discrepancy between higher welfare needs and limited resources. This study aims to explore the current trends and challenges of using welfare technology related to elderly care through literature review. Practical ways to expand uses of welfare technology are also provided. In order to make effective and practical use of welfare technology, public awareness and education, the cooperation of related organizations, the expansion and utilization of Living Labs, and the development and adoption of welfare technology are required.

과학기술특성화대학 재학생의 지식재산과 창업에 대한 인식과 교육요구도 분석 : KAIST 학부생을 중심으로 (A Study on Analysis of KAIST Students' Perceptions of Intellectual Property and Start-ups and Educational Needs)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze KAIST students' perceptions of intellectual property and start-ups and educational needs. In this study, literature research, interviews, and surveys were conducted, and 5 students participated in the interview, and 202 students participated in the survey. Students had similar perceptions of intellectual property and start-up education. KAIST students had very little experience in intellectual property and start-up-related education in middle, high schools and universities. In particular, most students highly recognized the importance of intellectual property and start-up education, but recognized that the importance was low in their career path. Therefore, students were also less willing to participate in intellectual property and start-up-related education in the future. Students demanded the highest education on 'patent management' in intellectual property-related competencies, and the highest demand for 'start-up idea derivation ability' in start-up-related competencies.

  • 해양관광 수요가 지속적으로 증가할 것이 예상됨에 따라, 수요에 적극적으로 대응하고 고객요구에 최적화 및 차별화된 수요자 기반 컨텐츠 개발과 공급을 조정 통합하는 주체의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 스마트폰과 인터넷으로 대표되는 SNS를 기반으로 고객의 정보를 수집하고, 고객이 요구하는 차별화된 컨텐츠를 공급함으로서 비용 및 만족도 모두를 충족시킬 수 있는 토털 해양관광 Platform 구축이 필요한 실정이다. 경영전문 토털 해양관광 "Platform Company" 설립을 통하여 부산에 산재하고 있는 다양하고 특색있는 어촌 해양 부존자원 활용의 극대화, 해양관광 고객수요 창조, 어촌경제의 안정적 고수익 기반마련과 고용창출 등 지역경제 활성화에 기여하고자 한다.

요양병원 노인환자의 구강건강상태와 구강건강관리 요구도 (Oral health status and care needs of elderly patients in long-term care hospital)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify oral health status and oral health care needs of elderly patients in long-term care hospital. Methods: Oral health examination was carried out by a dentist and questionnaire was completed by direct individual interview by a dental hygienist for 245 elderly patients in seven long-term care hospitals in Daegu from March 12 to April 16, 2011. Results: Those who need dental care were 188(76.7%) and was done by oral health examination by a dentist. 93 patients(38.0%) wanted dental care and 63 patients(25.3%) need dental care. The most important dental service in the elderly patients was denture and prosthetic service. As demand for denture and prosthetic service exceeds the supply, but only 35.9 percent of the elderly received the dental care service by the estimation of the caregivers. Conclusions: It will be necessary to establish the customized dental care service for the elderly patients in long term care hospitals. The oral health education for the caregivers is very important and the continuing education program must be implemented in the future.

  • The main aim of the current research is to make the resources for the architectural planning available and usable from the investigation of the various dwelling needs in order for the multicultural family to make comfortable settlement. The members of multicultural families demand the various needs depending on their usage and identification of the dwelling space. The current research has conducted to define the solution to address the raised issue and unsatisfied factors from the dwelling that does not meet the multi-cultural families' demand, finding out from the survey/interview from the multicultural dwellers The methods to investigate is firstly to conduct the research based on the previous data with theological study, secondly, to perform the survey to the members of the multi-cultural families, and thirdly, to determine the satisfactory status and the requesting factors for the spaces by in-depth interview with selected members of multi-cultural families, using the diagram.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 인터넷의 등장과 디지털 정보자원의 급증으로 변화하는 과학 기술 정보 환경에서 KISTI의 과학 기술 정보이용자의 정보수요와 정보추구 행태를 분석, 기술하는 것이다. 국내 산 학 연의 과학 기술정보이용자들에게 우편 배포한 설문에서 수집된 결과는 다양한 이용자층을 위한 과학 기술정보와 원문에 대한 개인 및 기관정보원을 위한 전문정보원이며 중개기관으로서의 KISTI의 역할 및 이용자의 수요에 기반한 서비스와 장서의 개발 방향을 재조명하였다. 주요한 발견은 과학 기술분야의 최근 및 영어권 학술지와 학회 회의자료등의 "on demand" 원문 수요, DDS의 개선과 확장에 대한 기대, 입수가 어려운 과학 기술 정보자원의 종합적인 수집 보존 유통 기능의 확장 필요 등을 포함하였다.

  • The development of fast information network connections and the information highway of todays society have made consumers to demand various services in interior design. The media influencing consumer behavior is with no doubt, the Internet. The exponential growth in Internet users in Korea is surprised to all other countries. At this time where new businesses and events on the Internet are developing successfully, the educational and cultural benefits to consumers, which is quite different from the time when consumers only depended on television and newspaper, are enabling consumer demand to grow together with the abundant floods of information. This implies that consumer choice is shifting from needs-based to wants-based products and services. In the past where only the necessities were mass-produced and there was a lack in goods in general, there just werent enough products or varieties for consumers to either compare or evaluate. Today, comparing and evaluating has become natural with the access to information, and consumers have teamed to choose interior products that fit their preferences. In other words, this means that consumers are now at a transition point where they are moving from the simple everyday needs of the past to wants of the present that allows them to form a standard for selecting products of their own preference.
