EBKS(Electronic Book of Korea Standard) 1.0 which was established in July 2001 passed the industry standard deliberation of agency for technology and standards of Korea industry in July 2002. EBKS is now established as KS X6100 representing the Korea standard of electronic book of Korea. Therefore, Conformance test and certification procedure is required whether electronic books and documents which follow KS X 6100 are conform to specification of the standard. In the paper, we define conformance clause which is a basis for conformance test and standard electronic book schema. As a result, electronic book writers can produce more conformable documents to the specification and goal of electronic book standard by using the conformance clause, and service provider can effectively perform the conformance test by using standard electronic book schema.

Autonomous agents need considerable computational resources to perform rational decision-making. The complexity of decision-making becomes prohibitive when large number of agents are present and when decisions have to be made under time pressure. One of approaches in time-critical domains is to respond to an observed condition with a predefined action. Although such a system may be able to react very quickly to environmental conditions, predefined plans are of less value if a situation changes and re-planning is needed. In this paper we investigate strategies intended to tame the computational burden by using off-line computation in conjunction with on-line reasoning. We use performance profiles computed off-line and the notion of urgency (i.e., the value of time) computed on-line to choose the amount of information to be included during on-line deliberation. This method can adjust to various levels of real-time demands, but incurs some overhead associated with iterative deepening. We test our framework with experiments in a simulated anti-air defense domain. The experiments show that the off-line performance profiles and the on-line computation of urgency are effective in time-critical situations.

This study investigates risk reduction behavior with risk perception in outdoor wear purchase situations. Data were collected via a questionnaire from 400 consumers between the ages of 20 to 50 residing in Seoul and Kyonggi-do. Data analysis were conducted with SPSS 20 program on the reliability test, factor analysis, cluster analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test. Factor analyses were employed for the participation motivation of mountain climbing activities, risk reduction behavior and risk perception. Five factors were for the participation motivation of mountain climbing activities (health and fitness, external ostentation, achievement and excitement, improvement of climbing skills, and society). Five factors were for risk perception (fashionability loss and social risk, time and convenience loss, economic risk, performance risk, and psychological risk). Five factors were for the risk reduction behavior (interpersonal information sources use, marketer-dominated information sources use, professional information sources use, pre-purchase deliberation/observation/experience, and brand dependence). Three clusters were identified based on the motivation of outdoor activities (the affiliation/display, the health/internal informativeness and low motivation). The participation motivation for mountain climbing activities were varied. Manufacturers should increase efforts to develop products with good qualities at a reasonable cost as well as establish new marketing strategies since the risk of product performance and economic efficiency in the purchase of outdoor wear was a significant consumer perception.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the belief about mathematics teaching of elementary preservice teachers and mathematics teachers. This study involved 100 respondents from the preservice teachers and 114 respondents from the mathematics teachers. The instruments used in this study consist 15 items of mathematical knowledges and 19 items of mathematical activities. The finding showed that preservice teachers emphasized the conceptual knowledge, whereas mathematics teachers emphasized the procedural knowledge in the mathematical knowledges. And preservice teachers emphasized the knowledge representation, knowledge generation, knowledge deliberation, knowledge communication, whereas mathematics teachers emphasized the use of knowledge(syntax) in the mathematical activities. Finally, even though two groups showed the significant difference in some items, preservice teachers and mathematics teachers emphasized the various mathematical knowledges and mathematical activities.

This study aims to explore the problems of the VR content industry, which is the core of the newly emerging fourth industrial revolution and convergence new industry, and to find alternatives to solve them. Through in-depth interviews with experts, we collected elements that impeded the development of VR content industry. As a result, the simplification of the VR simulator's content changes, the regulation of the VR simulator was newly established within the Game Industry Act, and the diversification of the input amount were the reasons. Simplification of deliberation provides the basis for new platform business. The new law is to reflect the characteristics of VR content properly and to avoid unnecessary regulation by existing laws. The adoption of various input methods is intended to actively expand the market for new industries. This study is expected to contribute the safe ecosystem by reviewing the factors that impede the development of the new industry as suggesting alternatives.

The theoretical scope of the public sphere has been dramatically expanded as a result of new academic inquiries into the nature of the political and the public in contemporary societies. While appreciating the value of the concept of the public sphere for understanding democratic roles of the media, scholars began to raise questions on Habermasians' exclusive focus on news and public affairs programs, arguing that various entertainment programs also can invoke political deliberation. Terms like affective public sphere, emotional public sphere, aesthetic public sphere, expressive public sphere were used to capture this new conception. To comprehend the theoretical and practical implications of the conceptual expansion of the public sphere for media studies, this study attempted to provide a typology of media-public sphere relationships. By using public-private and rational-emotional axes as two criteria for classification, we created four prototypes of the public sphere (i.e., political public sphere, populism, difference pluralism, and intimacy/privacy) and discussed the characteristics of each type. After setting out media communication as a form of meta-public sphere that mediates and coordinates the four different types of the public sphere, we presented public service broadcasting as an exemplar meta-public sphere in the contemporary society of multiple social antagonisms and differences.

Purpose: Nurses' management of Nursing Home residents' remaining functional ability is phenomena emphasizing as the main practice focus in long term care and has specific meanings within the context of quality of life for fragile and disabled elderly people in nursing homes. This study was conducted to clarify and to conceptualize the phenomena of nurses' management of nursing home residents' remaining functional ability. Method: The Hybrid Model of concept development was applied to develop a concept of nurses' management of residents' remaining functional ability. Results: This concept of nurse' management emerged as a phenomenon having meanings in two different dimensions, deliberation and enactment for five types of residents: residents with declining function and dementia requiring nursing assistance, bed-ridden residents with moderate dementia, residents with advanced dementia and behavior problems, but good physical health, residents at the end of life stage, and bed-ridden residents with intact mental health. Conclusions: Results indicate that nurses' management of remaining functional ability of residents in nursing homes is a concept having types of needs that should be treated in specified ways. Interventions should have a positive impacts on practical applications in nursing homes and on enhancing residents' remaining function.

This article has reviewed some possible factors of priority setting in the government R&D investment, and also reviewed the roles of scientific community. Recently many development countries have planned more and more large-scale researches which require huge resources. Many large-scale researches have presented strikingly poor performance records in terms of efficiency. Nevertheless, more and more large-scale researches have been selected and executed. According to this article, some factors such as attracting attention of the media and the public, enhancing national prestige, raising the technological independence for economic growth were raised. As implications for policy, this article presented a necessity of strengthening the public control for priority setting of government R&D investment. And new procedures such as public discourse and National Assembly's in-depth deliberation were presented.

Many pictures are taken at a construction site, but the information of the pictures is not managed in an efficient and systematic manner. For this reason, when a construction worker has scant field experience or knowledge, it is hard to communicate with others efficiently. Therefore, the information of the pictures taken is not fully utilized in any deliberation or conflict among interested parties, facilities maintenance, and construction of another structure, although they were taken for those purposes. This study discusses the need for combining vector-photos with image and 5W and 1H information, and develops a prototype module for creating vector-photos and saving them in a server. The vector-photos taken can be saved to a server in real time, and efficiently managed by a DB system. If a system to link the vector-photos with a BIM model is developed in the future, it is expected that the vector information in the picture can be connected with the property information of an object. As a result, the vector-photos can be utilized in more diverse ways.

On February 4, 2020, the Personal Information Protection Act ("Privacy Act") was amended to facilitate the convergence and utilization of data, a key resource of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and to support the development of the data industry. As the scope of the law applies to telecommunications operators, financial operators, and personal information processing providers, the scope of related dispute settlement is expected to increase. Therefore, this paper first introduces the role and function of the Personal Information Dispute Committee and the institutional standards for personal information dispute mediation, and researches the roles and issues that the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee should play in accordance with the revision of the Data 3 Law. In this study, For efficient operation of personal information dispute mediation, expert deliberation by field, new adjustment criteria for new industrial technologies, way to secure business continuity between the Personal Information Dispute Committee and the Personal Information Committee, Secure the link between the mediation decision and courts, and Suggested the strengthening of the operational standards for collective dispute mediation.
