A Study on Design of Predictive Controler for Transfer Crane (트랜스퍼 그레인을 위한 예측제어기 설계에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, an automatic crane control system is required with high speed and rapid transportation. Therefore, when container is transferred from the initial coordinate to the finial coordinate, the container paths should be built in terms of the least time and without sway. Therefore, we calculated the anti-collision path for avoiding collision in its movement to the finial coordinate in this paper. And we constructed the neural network predictive two degree of freedom PID controller to control the precise navigation. The proposed predictive control system is composed of the neural network predictor, two degree of freedom PID controller, neural network self-tuner which yields parameters of two degree of freedom PID. We analyzed crane system through simulation, and proved excellency of control performance over the conventional controllers.

  • In this paper, six-degree-of-freedom (DoF). Displacement measurement technique using a compact stereo-vision system is proposed. The measuring system consists of a camera, an optical prism, two plane mirrors, and a planar marker on a target. The target was attached on an object so that its six-DoF displacement can be calculated using a proposed coordinates estimating algorithm and stereo images of the marker. A prototype was designed and fabricated for performance test. From the test results, it can be confirmed that the proposed measuring technique can be applied to monitoring and control of various manipulators.

  • This study investigated the prime difference between different methods for measuring a sizing degree. Based on the results coming from the study, a new type of the automatic measuring system of a sizing degree. The system includes synchronized devices for measuring contact angle and St$\ddot{o}$ckigt sizing degree at the same time.

  • ERP is a topic of currency in MIS circle. Numerous organization have developed their information systems using many kinds of ERP packages such as Oracle, SAP R/3, uniERP, etc. However, the pricing methodology of ERP systems is not yet established in a proper way. This paper attempts to investigate factors influencing the price of ERP system. Thirty eight ERP consulting firms participated in this research project. Based on the data from ERP consulting firms, price of ERP systems basically consist of package cost, consulting fee, and customizing expense. The results of this research project are finding factors affecting above three parts that consist price of ERP system. This paper found that factors influencing package price are number of modules, number of users, the degree of package reliability. The factors affecting consulting fee are the degree of project specialty, level of consultants. Finally the factors influencing customizing cost are the degree of project difficulty, project time.

The Effects of u-Learning Systems Characteristics on Perceived Interactivity and Learning Performance (u-Learning 시스템 속성이 지각된 상호작용성 및 학습성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the negative factors affecting personnel u-Learning acceptance and to analyze the interrelation among the factors in this research model. The two independent variables avoidable convenience and reliant convenience, based on pilot test results, and learning performance and perceived interactivity, based on the relevant literature, are used to examine the research model. The research problem was tested with data collected from 577 respondents in 23 universities. This study developed and empirically analyzed a model representing the relationship by using the Structural Equation Model. The major findings of this study are, firstly, that the higher reliant convenience is negatively affecting the degree of system use and learner’s satisfaction, whereas avoidable convenience is only affecting the learner’s satisfaction. Secondly, the higher learning performance and stronger perceived interactivity affects the degree of system use as well as learner’s satisfaction. Finally, the degree of system use affects the learner’s satisfaction.

A Clinical Study on the Effects of Extravascular Laser System on Osgood-Schlatter Disease (비침습 레이저 조사기를 이용한 Osgood-Schlatter's disease의 치료 증례보고)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of Extravascular Laser System on Osgood-Schlatter Disease Methods: In this study, we treated the 6 cases of children who were diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease with Extravascular Laser System. 4 of them were treated with acupuncture as well, the other 2 were given with combined acupuncture and Blood-pricking Treatment. For evaluation, 6 children explained the degree of pain relief by comparing with degree of pain before treatment. Results: Extravascular Laser System for Osgood-Schlatter Disease resulted in a significant decline in the subjective pain degree. All of them were almost cured. The average treatment times was 6.7 times, and the average treatment period was 26.7days. Conclusions We report the good result of the efficacy of extravascular laser system on Osgood-Schlatter Desease. Cases in this study, however, were small in number. Therefore more study is required.

Research on bearing characteristics of socket-spigot template supporting system

  • The socket-spigot template supporting system is widely used in engineering applications in China. As a newer type of support structure, there has been growing research interest in its bearing capacity. In this paper, four vertical bearing capacity tests were carried out on the basic mechanical unit frame of a socket-spigot template supporting system. The first goal was to explore the influence of the node semi-rigid degree and the longitudinal spacing of the upright tube on the vertical bearing capacity. The second objective was to analyze the displacement trend and the failure mode during the loading process. This paper presents numerical analysis of the vertical bearing capacity of the unit frames using the finite element software ANSYS. It revealed the relationship between the node semi-rigid degree and the vertical bearing capacity, that the two-linear reinforcement model of elastic-plastic material can be used to analyze the socket-spigot template supporting system, and, through node entity model analysis, that the load transfer direction greatly influences the node bearing area. Finally, this paper indicates the results of on-site application performance experiments, shows that the supporting system has adequate bearing capacity and stability, and comments on the common work performance of a socket and fastener scaffold.

Precise Position Synchronous Control of Two-Axes System Using Two-Degree-of-Freedom PI Controller in BLDC Motor (2자유도 PI 제어기를 이용한 2축 BLDC 모터 시스템의 정밀 위치동기 제어)

  • This paper describes a precise position synchronous control of two axes rotating system using BLDC motors and a cooperative control based on decoupling technique and PI control law. The system is required performances both good speed following and minimum position synchronous errors simultaneously. To accomplish these goals, the three kinds of controllers are designed. At first, the current and speed controller are designed very simply to compensate the influences of disturbances and to follow up speed references quickly. Especially, the two degree of freedom PI controller is used considering both good tracking for speed reference input and quick rejection of disturbances in speed controller. Finally, a position synchronous controller is designed as a simple proportional controller to minimize position synchronous errors. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed through some numerical simulations. Moreover, the results are compared to the conventional master-slave control ones to show the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • It is making researches in questions selection method for examination in web-based education system. Most questions made for these remote examinations use methods of making questions using fixed questions or randomly using item pools or automatically using degree of difficulty. This paper proposes a new examination questions selection algorithm in web-based education system for engineer test. Generally, Engineer test is characterized by adequate examination questions selection for degree of difficulty and equally between all units. Therefore this algorithm selected examination questions equally well as regards degree of difficulty and distribution between all units. This algorithm providers more effective education examination method as compared with previous algorithm.

Performance Analysis of Cascade Refrigeration System with Respect to Refrigerants Appling to High Temperature Cycle (고온측 냉매에 따른 이원 냉동시스템의 성능 분석)

  • This paper presents the Coefficient of performance(COP) and mass flow ratio of cascade refrigeration system with respect to refrigerants appling to high temperature cycle. The operating parameters considered in this study include degree of superheating and subcooling, compressor efficiency, evaporating temperature, condensing temperature and internal heat exchanger effectiveness in high temperature cycle. The result of this study is as follows : The COP of cascade system increases with increasing degree of superheating and subcooling, compressor efficiency and internal heat exchanger effectiveness except increasing condensing temperature. The mass flow ratio of low and high temperature cycle increases with increasing evaporating temperature and condensing temperature, but decreases with increasing internal heat exchanger effectiveness, degree of superheating and subcooling. Also, the mass flow ratio has no correlation with compressor efficiency at high temperature cycle.
