This study examined the satisfaction of the married women from aged 20s through 50s with well-being oriented foods, considering the importance of each subordinate field and verifying the differences between the groups according to socio-demographic factors, purchase behavior factors, and well-being oriented dietary life factors, followed by an analysis of the relative influence of those relevant factors. A preliminary survey was conducted from January 4th-11th, 2009 to check if there were any problems or misunderstood parts before the main survey. After the preliminary study was conducted, certain problems were adjusted and supplemented, and then the main survey was conducted for twenty-three days, from January 4th to February 5th, 2009. The summaries of this study are as follows: First, in the view of the purchase behavior, the mainly purchased well-being oriented foods were farm products, and the leading purpose of the purchase was for the parents and the children. It was shown that 30% or more of the information sources on well-being oriented foods were families, relatives and neighbors. More than 66% of the purchasing was done at wholesale marts and the topped purchasing frequency was from 5 to 6 per month. More than 71% of payments for well-being oriented foods were \50,000~100,000 per month. More than 51% of the respondents answered that the proper price of well-being oriented foods was 1.2 times to 1.5 times of that of other foods. Second, the satisfaction of the well-being oriented foods was ranked as 3.21 to 3.28 out of 5, and varied with the usages and the methods of weights. Investigating the satisfaction with each subordinate field, the satisfaction with price was shown to be low. The satisfaction with the assortments of foods and the satisfaction with the therapeutic degree by thorough investigation and management of foods were also relatively low. Third, well-being oriented dietary behavior was shown to be characterized by two factors, through factor analysis in this study. One was an eco-friendly oriented behavioral factor and the other was a health oriented selective factor. Fourth, the stepwise multiple regression analysis results investigating the relative influence of the factors effecting satisfaction with well-being oriented foods showed that the top ranked factor affecting total satisfaction was eco-friendly oriented behavioral factor, followed by education level and purchasing sites, especially of consumer groups.
The youth unemployment issue has not shown any improvement in years. The purpose of this study was to observe how employment issues affecting university students influence their life aims, self-efficacy, view of reality, view of the future, and life satisfaction. 239 students from three universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province were assessed through the instrument FLL and questions about employment issues, their life aims, life satisfaction and also their employment perspective. A total of 34 items of the FLL were divided through factor analysis into six higher life aims, self-love, family love and interpersonal aims, personal-financial aims, social-public aims, moral aims and political and ideological aims. Using Cluster analysis, three group profiles were found depending on the employment perspective such as a better view of reality, better self-efficacy, and better life satisfaction. A t-test was conducted in order to compare the two groups classified according to favorable or unfavorable employment perspectives. No significant differences existed between the groups in the perception of youth unemployment or in social-demographic factors, such as gender, age, and academic year. However, in life aims, the unfavorable group showed significantly higher interest in the domains of family love and interpersonal aims, personal -financial aims, and social-public aims than the favorable perspective group. Conversely, this group showed a significantly greater negative view of reality in most life domains, as it evaluated that its aims are more poorly achieved than the comparable group. Also, the unfavorable perspective group showed a lesser degree of self-efficacy in most life domains and the same in the category of life satisfaction, i.e., lesser satisfaction in all life domains except for family love, and moral aims. However, no significant difference existed between the groups in the view of the future. The results were discussed in relation to other social-cognitive factors for life satisfaction found in preceding studies.

The survey was conducted by using a brief pain inventory(BPI) to investigate the body parts in pain, degree of pain, difficulty in daily life, correlation with hemodialysis and the degree of satisfaction with their own health. Results: The investigation of the patients undergoing hemodialysis showed that 89(83.2%) of the 107 patients experienced pain in their musculoskeletal system. Their pain's incidence was highest in the knees(46.1%) and 68.5% of the patients reported that the most severe pain they had experienced within the past 24 hours was at a level between "moderate" and "severe." The limitation of daily life by pain is high most as 47.7% in the accomplishment of works. This study expects that social media might provide greater benefits for those who are experiencing low self-esteem and high anxiety. In addition, this study conducts the same analysis for the general public and then compares its results with the survey on North Korean defectors. According to the results of North Korean defectors' survey, the impact of social media use on satisfaction with their life in South Korea was greater for those with high anxiety than for those with low anxiety. Meanwhile, the impact was greater for those with high self-esteem than for those with low self-esteem.

This study aims to propose improvement plans and directions of existing policies to build a Barrier-Free city for the socially underprivileged. We conducted correlation analysis and T-test based on the results of a survey of the general public including the socially underprivileged to understand how their satisfaction with the use of facilities close to their daily lives, such as housing, sales·business facilities, affects their happiness. The results are as follows: First of all, the socially underprivileged experienced discomfort and barriers in urban life more than the privileged, and there was a negative(-) correlation between the degree of discomfort and barrier that the socially underprivileged experienced and happiness in urban life. Second, as a result of analyzing the difference in satisfaction with the life·welfare·leisure environment indicators, the satisfaction with the life environment showed a significant difference between the socially underprivileged and the privileged, and it was found that satisfaction in the life environment had the greatest effect on happiness to the socially underprivileged. We examined the current status and the spatial distribution of BF-certified facilities, one of the representative policies for the socially underprivileged to support their urban life without any obstacles, based on the above outcome, and most certified facilities were concentrated in welfare environment. In addition, we used ArcGIS to analyze that BF-certified facilities have been being supplied to people who really need them and saw that the spatial distribution of the socially underprivileged (elderly, children, and infant) and the distribution of BF certification facilities were somewhat consistent, but were intensively supplied to urban areas.

Research on satisfaction of school lunches according to gender also showed a difference of (p<0.5). Specifically, 48.7% of male students responded 'average', whereas only 45.3% of female students responded in the same way. The reason for dissatisfaction of school lunches were quality and nutrition for the male students (30%) and taste for the female students (60.4%), with a significant difference according to gender (p<0.05). The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of extracurricular activities such as creative experiential activities, life guidance, and counseling activities on school satisfaction of students and parents who are educational demanders, and to suggest practical and policy alternatives to improve school satisfaction. For this purpose, 1,242 elementary, middle and high school students in Seoul and 1,023 parents were tested through analysis of t-test, and regression. Three main results were derived. First, extracurricular activities had a statistically significant effect on school satisfaction. Second, in general, parents in Korea are expected to emphasize the entrance examination-oriented curriculum with a high degree of education, but the higher the extracurricular activities of students and parents, the higher the school satisfaction. Third, there was a difference in school satisfaction by education class, but the higher the education level, the lower the school satisfaction was. It can be seen that extracurricular activities are needed to increase the educational satisfaction of students and parents who are educational demanders. In addition, it is necessary to reinforce the extracurricular activities to the high school which is the upper grade school now.
