A Proposal on the Marine Traffic Supporting System in VTS area

  • In port and its approach channel, traffic accidents such as collision, aground, minor collision have reached about 77% of total marine casualty in the area. In this paper, an attempt to enhance the safe navigation was proposed by offering marine traffic supporting system which helps VTS operator assist vessel effectively with the quantitative assessment on difficulty of each vessel. The system collects navigation data from onboard AIS, assesses the data in assessment mode to analyze the navigation difficulties of each vessel and displays the degree of danger of each vessel on the ECDIS in real-time to decide the intervention time or order of priority for VTS operator. The effectiveness of the system was verified by the VTS operators in Korea.

빅 데이터를 이용한 범죄패턴 분석 알고리즘의 구현 (Implementation of Crime Pattern Analysis Algorithm using Big Data)

  • 본 논문에서는 빅 데이터를 이용하여 범죄 발생 패턴을 분석하는 알고리즘을 제안하고 구현했다. 제안된 알고리즘은 대검찰청에서 수집하여 공개한 범죄관련 빅 데이터를 사용하며, 표준편차 타원체 및 공간밀도 분석과 같은 공간통계분석을 통해 서울시의 2011-2013년 범죄발생 패턴을 분석했다. 범죄 발생 빈도수를 이용하여 범죄발생지역, 시간, 요일, 장소의 위험지수를 구했고, 범죄 패턴 분석 알고리즘을 통해 범죄 발생 확률을 구했다. 이를 통해 공간통계분석을 했다. 제안된 알고리즘의 구현 결과, 서울시의 각 구별로 범죄발생 패턴이 다르다는 것을 파악할 수 있었고, 다양한 범죄발생 패턴을 분석하고 범죄발생확률을 위험지수를 통해 수치화하여 위험도를 정량적으로 산출할 수 있었다.

  • A high speed train passing through a station may have undesired effects to passengers on platform due to abrupt pressure transients. Therefore it is very important to reduce the possible degree of danger by installing partition walls in passing lanes in designing the stations having passing train. In the present study, a pressure load to a passenger on platform is studied for the cases of various heights of the partition wall to assess the effectiveness of the wall on the passenger safety. From the results, it is seen that the pressure load on a passenger may be largely reduced by the partition wall. The heights of the partition wall for various passing speed are also studied based on the safety regulation.

  • 본격적인 산림자원조성시대를 대비하기 위해서는 가장 큰 피해를 주고 있는 산불에 대한 과학적이고 합리적인 산불발생에 관한 예측모형의 개발이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 연구는 이에 대한 현실적인 방안으로서 대구 경상북도지역을 대상으로 하여 기상요인을 이용한 산불발생확률모형을 개발하고자 수행하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 산불발생일의 모든 기상자료들을 검토하여 이들 기상요인과 산화발생빈도와의 함수관계를 파악하여 의미 있는 기상요인을 규명하고, 이와 병행하여 국지적(局地的) 차원(次元)의 기상자료 획득이 현실적으로 불가능하기 때문에, 각 시 군별 산불발생일의 유사정도를 적절한 통계적 기법에 이용하여 정량화(定量化)하고 이를 토대로 조사대상지역 범주화하였다. 그 결과 산불발생에 영향을 미치는 기상요인으로는 상대습도, 일조시간, 강우후 경과일로 밝혀졌으며, 조사대상지역은 대구를 중심으로 한 중남부지역, 안동을 중심으로 한 북부지역, 포항을 중심으로 한 동부해안지역으로 구분되었다. 따라서 구분된 각 지역의 시계열(時系列) 기상자료를 이용하여 logistic과 probit model을 기초로 한 산불발생확률모형이 개발되었다. 모의 실효성을 검정하기 위하여 과거 기상자료를 대입한 결과 상당한 정도의 예측능력이 확인되어, 이를 이용한 효율적인 감시활동과 진화장비의 배치 등 산불예방활동의 효율성을 제고할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

실습선을 이용한 선박 조우형태별 위험도 분석을 통한 효율적인 실습 교육자료 개발 (Development of Efficient Training Material through Danger Analysis to Various Encounter Types using Training Ship)

  • 해양계열 대학에서는 STCW협약에 의거하여 항해계열 실습생은 1년 동안 승선실습을 대학 실습선 및 해운선사를 통한 위탁실습을 수행하고 있다. 한국해양대학교 및 목포해양대학교는 실습 교육프로그램에 의거하여 학기별 약 4${\sim}$5회의 연안 항해 실습과 1회 정도의 원양항해 실습을 진행하고 있다. 실습교육 프로그램에는 초급항해사에게 필요한 위치결정능력, 해도작업능력, 국제해상충돌방지규칙을 포함한 선박운항능력, 화물관리능력 등과 같이 많은 내용을 요구하고 있다. 또한 초급항해사에게 항해 중 가장 기본적으로 요구되는 충돌 회피를 위한 선박조종 실습은 안전운항에 대한 법적 책임 및 타선박과의 불규칙한 조우로 인해 직접적인 충돌회피 조종 실습이 곤란할 뿐만 아니라, 타 선박과의 조우하는 상황 자체가 극히 제한되어 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 한국해양대학교 실습선 한나라호의 원양항해 중 타선박과의 조우형태를 조사하여 해양계열 대학 실습생 및 초급 항해사에게 실제 해역에서 발생할 수 있는 조우상황별 위험도를 분석하여, 이를 기초로 충돌 회피를 위한 효율적인 판단 능력 향상을 위한 기초 실습교육 자료를 개발하고자 한다. 그리고 추후에는 이러한 자료를 선박조종시뮬레이터 적용하여 임의의 조우 상황 하에서 안전한 선박조종이 가능하도록 교육 훈련함으로서 보다 효율적인 실습 교육에 이바지 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 경찰청 교통사고통계자료에 따르면, 어린이 교통사고사망자숫자는 점차 감소추세에 있으나, 여전히 하루평균 약 1명 이상의 어린이가 사망하고 있는 실정이다. 어린이 교통사고의 유형에 있어서도 어린이 사상자의 $60{\sim}70%$ 이상이 보행 중 사고를 당하고 있고, 보행 중 사고의 대부분은 자동차로 인한 도로횡단 중 사고이며, 특히 무단횡단 사고가 많은 부분을 차지하고 있다. 어린이들이 많이 보행하는 학교주변. 집주변 또는 학교와 집사이의 통학로상의 교통 환경이 매우 열악함을 보여주고 있으며, 학교주변 어린이 통학로상의 교통 환경 개선의 필요성이 강하게 대두되고 있는 측면이다. 이에 대하여 정부에서는 1995년 이후로 학교주변 300m 이내를 어린이보호구역으로 지정하여 교통안전시설물을 설치하고 차량속도를 규제하는 등 교통 환경을 개선하여 어린이교통사고 예방에 노력을 기울이고 있다. 어린이보호구역의 지정에 관한 기준을 조사하고 문제점을 분석함으로서 효과적이고 정량적인 어린이보호구역 지정에 관한 방법을 제시하였다. 어린이의 교통행동특성과 어린이교통사고, 어린이보호구역 내의 교통사고 자료를 분석하여 어린이교통사고의 특성을 파악하고, 어린이보호구역 내 교통사고의 위험요인을 도출하여 각 위험요인별 세부항목을 구분하였다. 각각의 세부항목은 교통사고에 영향을 미치는 정도에 따라 위험등급을 부여하고, 이를 종합하여 어린이보호구역의 지정기준에 관한 방법론을 제시하였다.

인터넷 게임 중독으로 발생하는 신체증상과 중독성 사이의 상관성 연구 (Physical symptoms generated by internet game addiction and relationship between physical symptom and game addiction grade.)

  • Objectives : As the side effect brought up by internet game addiction, many reports come out, but most of past articles are for middle or high school students. There is seldom a poisoning game treatise to a primary school student, if there is treatise, it is real condition that treatise for lead pipe with psychological reasons is seldom discussion about physical symptoms. This research searches high grade elementary students' game use actual conditions and when divide to general user group, latent danger use group, high dangerous use group, according to serious illness degree of game poisoning, three groups and game poisoning happens, recognized about body symptoms that happen much. Methods : Target population of these questionnaire are fifth and sixth grade elementary student of Seoul city 2 school. Chose 263 elementary students, 144 men, 119 women who understand purpose of research and admit participation is 25 October, 2006 since 1 September, 2006 Results : As poisoning serious illness degree is high, there are many number of game times, much more boys are addicted to internet game than girs, insomnia is apt to happen frequently in game poisoning danger group, and correlation is high by megrim, shoulder ache, digestive trouble. Insomnia, symptoms that show next even if some symptoms show first because there is high correlation between megrim, shoulder ache, digestive trouble is high possibility to happen among four symptoms. Insomnia, megrim, shoulder ache, digestive trouble that happen by internet game poisoning, is apt to increase by increasing addiction. Symptoms treatment can divide by internal treatment that treat insomnia, megrim, digestive trouble, external treatment that is typical symptoms of VDT syndrome shoulder ache, headache, fatigue persimmon. Root treatment is mind symptoms treatment. Game addiction treatment is relationship method 'seven emotions injury treatment' in oriental medicine. 'promote the normal flow of qi' and 'adjustment of suitable emotion' can talk as pivotal point of treatment.

가토에서 심낭이완술에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Studies of the Pericardial Releasing Technique in Rabbits)

  • Reoperations following cardiac surgery have an increased risk of the danger of damaging the heart, great vessels or extracardiac grafts because of adhesions to the sternum. We experimentally evaluated 3 different methods for pericardial closure. A standardized procedure for induction of pericardial adhesions was carried out in 30 rabbits. For closure of pericardium, animals were divided into 3 groups, 10 animals respectively: Croup 1 [simple pericardial closure]The pericardium was primarily resuture; Group 2 [Core-Tex surgical membrane as a pericardial substitute]- A Gore-Tex surgical membrane was interposed between the sternum and the heart; and Group 3 [pericardial tension releasing technique]-Three longitudinal overlapping incisions were made on the right side of the pericardium while the midline incison was sutured. Animals were put to death 4 weeks postoperatively and the pericardial space was examined for pericardial adhesions and epicardial reactions. The extent of adhesions and reactions were graded as: I-none; II-minimal; III-moderate; and IV-severe. Histologic studies of the pericardium, the pericardial substitute and the epicardium were also performed. The results were as follows: 1. In group 1 [simple pericardial closure], the degree of pericardial adhesions were grade I in 1 animal, grade II in 2, grade III in 4 and grade IV in 3. Epicardial reactions were grade I in 1 animal, grade II in 3, grade III in 5 and grade IV in 1. Histologic examination revealed thick fibrous tissue that obliterated the pericardial space in 7 animals. 2. In group 2 [Gore-Tex surgical membrane as a pericardial substitute], the degree of pericardial adhesions were grade I in 3 animals, grade II in 3, grade III in 2 and grade IV in 2. The degree of epicardial reactions were grade II in 1 animal, grade III in 5 and grade IV in 4. Histologic studies revealed a thin layer of dense fibrous tissue which covered the Gore-Tex surgical membrane and thick loose fibrous tissue on the epicardium just beneath the substitute. 3. In group 3 [pericardial tension releasing technique], the degree of pericardial adhesions were grade I in 3 animals, grade II in 4, grade III in 2 and grade IV in 1. The degree of epicardial reactions were grade 1 in 4 animals, grade II in 4 and grade III in 2. Severe epicardial reactions were not observed in this group. Histologic examination showed normal epicardium in 4 animals and the epicardium of the other 6 animals only revealed very thin fibrous layer compared to group I and group II. Pericardial adhesions more than grade III were 70% in group 1, 40% in group 2 and 30% in group 3. Pericardial adhesions were reduced in group 2 and group 3 compared to group 1, but statistically not significant. Epicardial reactions more than grade III were 60% in group 1, 90% in group 2 and 20% in group 3. Epicardial reactions were significantly reduced in group 3 compared to group 2. Author`s modified pericardial releasing technique provides marked augment of pericardial surface area and facilitates tension-free pericardial closure. Furthermore, pericardial adhesion and epicardial reaction will be reduced with the pericardial tension releasing technique.

Anticorrosive Monitoring and Complex Diagnostics of Corrosion-Technical Condition of Main Oil Pipelines in Russia

  • Safety operation of main pipelines is primarily provided by anticorrosive monitoring. Anticorrosive monitoring of oil pipeline transportation objects is based on results of complex corrosion inspections, analysis of basic data including design data, definition of a corrosion residual rate and diagnostic of general equipment's technical condition. All the abovementioned arrangements are regulated by normative documents. For diagnostics of corrosion-technical condition of oil pipeline transportation objects one presently uses different methods such as in-line inspection using devices with ultrasonic, magnetic or another detector, acoustic-emission diagnostics, electrometric survey, general external corrosion diagnostics and cameral processing of obtained data. Results of a complex of diagnostics give a possibility: $\cdot$ to arrange a pipeline's sectors according to a degree of corrosion danger; $\cdot$ to check up true condition of pipeline's metal; $\cdot$ to estimate technical condition and working ability of a system of anticorrosive protection. However such a control of corrosion technical condition of a main pipeline creates the appearance of estimation of a true degree of protection of an object if values of protective potential with resistive component are taken into consideration only. So in addition to corrosive technical diagnostics one must define a true residual corrosion rate taking into account protective action of electrochemical protection and true protection of a pipeline one must at times. Realized anticorrosive monitoring enables to take a reasonable decision about further operation of objects according to objects' residual life, variation of operation parameters, repair and dismantlement of objects.

보행자 전용도로의 이용자 경관만족 요인분석 -분당 신도시를 중심으로- (The Analysis of User's Degree on Landscape Satisfaction Factors for Pedestrian Road -Case Study of Bun-Dang New Town-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors and variables which have significant effects on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road in Bun-dang new town and to suggest basic information for urban pedestrian road design. These works consist of two phase. First, we tested the Hye-Cheon college students' degree of landscape satisfaction for 37 spots of urban pedestrian road and then selected 10 sports slide by the Sturges' formula. Second, we analysed factors and variables on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road using the semantic differential scale method and then processed using descriptive analysis, factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) The difference of landscape adjectives between the highest score of landscape satisfaction slide and the lowest score landscape satisfaction slide were diversity of vegetation, plenty of the shade of a tree, naturalness and cleanness. 2) Diversity of vegetation, width of road, freedom of danger and diversity of environment can be significant variables of major effects on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road by using the multiple linear regression analysis. 3) Factors covering the landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road have been found to be Environment of urban pedestrian road and Constitution of urban pedestrian road. By using the Varimaxs' rotation factor analysis for the number of factors' cumulative percentage has been obtained as 64%. 4) Environment of urban pedestrian road and Constitution of urban pedestrian road can be significant factors of major effects on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road by using the multiple linear regression analysis. In conclusion, the landscape satisfaction factors and variables of urban pedestrian road need to be considered in plan or design the urban pedestrian road.
