열화가중치와 웨이블함수를 이용한 케이블의 열화진단 (Degradation Diagnosis of Power Cables Using degradation point and Weibull Function)

  • 본 논문은 현재 사용되고 있는 케이블의 진단을 위해서 열화가중치라는 새로운 접근법을 사용하였다. 케이블은 상시에 높은 온도로 운전된다는 점, 수분이 접촉할 확률이 크다는 점에서 신뢰성 있고 효율적인 열화진단은 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 종래의 연구는 수트리가 발생되는 절연층을 주 대상으로 삼았으나, 현대에 와서는 절연층뿐만 아니라, 내·외부 반도전층 또한 활발한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근에 국내에서 제안된 열화가중치법을 이용하여 케이블의 열화인자가 될 수 있는 부분에 대하여 특성분석을 수행한 다음, 열화가중치를 부여하여 케이블의 최종적인 상태를 파악해 보았다.

  • The conventional tracking testing as IEC-60587 is widely used in surface aging measurement of outside insulator because those testing can carry out very short time in Lab testing. Also IEC-60587 testing is able to offer the standard judgement of relative degradation level of outside HV machine. Therefore it is very useful method compare to previous conventional tracking testing method and effective Lab testing method. But surface discharges(SD) have very complex characteristics of discharge pattern so it is required estimation research to development of precise analysis method. In recent, the study of IIR-camera is carrying out discover of temperature of power equipment through condition diagnosis and system development of degradation diagnosis. In this study, SD occurred from IEC-60587 is measured with partial temperature distribution in real time, the degradation grade of SD is analyzed through produced patterns in IEC-60587 according to applied time.

22.9kV급 케이블 결함 검출을 위한 초저주파 실험 및 현장 진단 분석 (Analysis of Diagnosis and Very Low Frequency Experiment to Detect of Fault on 22.9kV Class Cable)

  • This paper presents few case studies of state diagnosis of XLPE cables using very low frequency techniques. The power cables of 22.9kV which have installation fault were assessed using VLF technique in addition to other techniques like insulation resistance and DC voltage withstand test. From the experimental results, The dielectric loss($tan{\delta}$) values of degradation of the cable(joint, knife, needle) at $U_0$ were 5.839, 5.526 and 6.251, respectively and all values were "further study advised". VLF PD measurement was also found defective portion. These method was effective in defect to fault in the degradation of the cable. However, the breakdown did not occur in the degradation of the cable because of properties of XLPE insulation. Few case studies of using VLF $tan{\delta}$ diagnosis for fault are measured and analyzed. The $tan{\delta}$ values at $U_0$ were "further study advised" or "action required".

  • Recently, the HFPD measurement testing is widely used in partial discharge measurement of HV machines because HFPD measurement testing receives less influence of external noise and has a merit of good sensitivity. Also HFPD testing is able to offer the judgement standard of degradation level of HV machine and can detect discharge signals in live-line. Therefore it is very useful method compare to previous conventional PD testing method and effective diagnosis method in power transformer that requires live-line diagnosis. But partial discharges have very complex characteristics of discharge pattern so it is required continuous research to development of precise analysis method. In recent, the study of partial discharge is carrying out discover of initial defect of power equipment through condition diagnosis and system development of degradation diagnosis using HFPD(High Frequency Partial Discharge) detection. In this study, simulated transformer is manufactured and HFPD occurred from transformer is measured with broad band antenna in real time, the degradation grade of transformer is analyzed through produced patterns in simulated transformer according to applied voltages.

Development of Insulation Degradation Diagnosis System for Electrical Plant

  • Insulation aging diagnosis system provides early warning regarding electrical equipment defects. Early warning is very important in that it can avoid great losses resulting from unexpected shutdown of the production line. Since relations of insulation aging and partial discharge dynamics are non-linear. it is very difficult to provide early warning in an electrical equipment. In this paper, we propose the design method of insulation aging diagnosis system that use a electromagnetic wave and acoustic signal to diagnose an electrical equipment. Proposed system measures the partial discharge on-line from DAS(Data Acquisition System and acquires 2D patterns from analyzing it. For filtering the noise contained in sensor signals we used ICA algorithms. Using this data, we design of the neuro-fuzzy model that diagnoses an electrical equipment and is investigated in this paper. Validity of the new method is asserted by numerical simulation.

  • This paper presents the technology of condition diagnosis & life estimation on insulation system of the traction motor. In the non-destructive methods for diagnosis of coil insulation state, residual dielectric strength is estimated by the D-map which consist of the partial discharge quantity Q and average degradation degree $\Delta$. In the operating history of machine, the N-Y life estimation method is based on the stop-starting numbers and operating times with considering each degradation factor by the thermal, electrical and heat-cycle stress. With the on-line conditioning monitoring on the currents of traction motors, detecting the abnormal operating state due to bearing faults, stator or armature faults, eccentricity related faults and broken rotor bars can be performed.
