The purpose of this study is to investigate the understanding of middle school students on the meaning of proof and to suggest a teaching method to improve their understanding based on three levels identified by Kunimune as follows: Level I to think that experimental method is enough for justifying proof, Level II to think that deductive method is necessary for justifying proof, Level III to understand the meaning of deductive system. The conclusions of this study are as follows: First, only 13% of 8th graders and 22% of 9th graders are on level II. Second, although about 50% students understand the meaning of hypothesis, conclusion, and proof, they can't understand the necessity of deductive proof. This conclusion implies that the necessity of deductive proof needs to be taught to the middle school students. One of the teaching methods on the necessity of proof is to compare the nature of experimental method and deductive proof method by providing their weak and strong points respectively.

For many industrial processes there are good static models used for process design and steady state operation. By using system identification techniques, it is possible to obtain black-box models with reasonable complexity that describe the system well in specific operating conditions [1]. But black-box models using inductive modeling(IM) is not suitable for model based control because they are only valid for specific operating conditions. Thus we need to use deductive modeling(DM) for a wide operating range. Furthermore, deductive modeling is several merits: First, the model is possible to be modularized. Second, we can increase and decrease the model complexity. Finally, we are able to use model for plant design. Power plant must be able to operate well at dramatic load change and consider safety and efficiency. This paper proposes a simplified nonlinear model of an industrial boiler, one of component parts of a power plant, by DM method and applies optimal control to the model.

객체지향 데이터 베이스에서는 지능 정보시스템에서 요구하는 것을 만족하기 위하여 보다 지능적인 질의 처리 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 추론적 기법을 사용하여, 객체지향 데이터베이스에서의 지능적인 질의 처리하는 방법에 대하여 논의한다. 논문에서 제시하는 방법을 사용하여, 객체지향 데이터베이스에서 주어진 질의에 대한 답을 추상적으로 표현하는 지능적인 답을 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 지능적인 질의 처리 방법은 규칙 표현, 규칙 재편성, 전 분석, 분석의 네 단계로 구성된다. 규칙 표현 단계에서는 객체지향 데이터베이스 스키마를 사용하여 추론 규칙을 생성한다. 규칙 재편성 단계에서는 규칙에서 순환을 제거한다. 전 분석 단계에서는 유일한 내포적 문자를 얻기 위하여 규칙변환이 이루어진다. 분석 단계에서는 SLD-분석을 사용하여 내포적 답을 구한다.

본 논문에서 우리는 방대한 패킷 데이터로부터 침입탐지를 위한 규칙들을 자동으로 생성하는 방법으로 기존 연관규칙을 연역적 알고리즘을 분석하고, 그 결과를 기반으로 침입탐지 시스템에 적용되기 위한 침입 패턴 규칙들을 빠르게 생성할 수 있도록 연연적 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한고 있는 연역적 알고리즘은 대량의 데이터를 항목별로 분류하고 제거하는 클러스터링 개념에 적합하도록 설계하였다. 이 알고리즘은 적용될 침입탐지 시스템 패턴 생성 및 분석 모듈 방식에 직접적으로 연계되어 있으며, 이것은 침입탐지 시스템에 관한 패턴관리를 위한 규칙 데이터베이스를 구축함으로서 응용범위의 확장은 물론 기존 침입탐지 시스템의 탐지속도를 높일 수 있다. 제안된 연역적 알고리즘의 패텅 생성 기법은 침입탐지 시스템에서 생성되는 데이터의 지원율에 따라 적절히 변경될 수 있는 알고리즘을 사용하였으며, 이 기법에 의한 규칙 생성율의 향상에 따른 규칙생성 속도개선 가능성에 대해 알고리즘 시뮬레이션을 통하여 분석하였다.

기업의 자재관리 영역에서 자재소요계획은 효과적인 의사결정을 위한 중요한 활동 중 하나이다. 수요가 점차 늘어남에 따라 실용성 있는 데이터 모델이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 다양한 형태로 표현되는 데이터를 적절한 구조로 모델링하여 기업 자재관리 응용 분야에서 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 연역 모델 릴레이션을 설계한다. 이를 이용하여 순환적 데이터 검색을 가능하게 하는 새로운 질의 방법을 제시하며, 그 효율성을 비교한다.

The main objective of the study is to introduce ideals of Sheffer stroke Hilbert algebras by means of fuzzy points, and investigate some properties. The process of making (fuzzy) ideals and fuzzy deductive systems through the fuzzy points of Sheffer stroke Hilbert algebras is illustrated, and the (fuzzy) ideals and the fuzzy deductive systems are characterized. Certain sets are defined by virtue of a fuzzy set, and the conditions under which these sets can be ideals are revealed. The union and intersection of two fuzzy ideals are analyzed, and the relationships between aforementioned structures of Sheffer stroke Hilbert algebras are built.

The notion of a complicated pre-logic is introduced and investigated some properties of it. A special set in a pre-logic is established and some related its properties are discussed. Also more extended special sets in a pre-logic are introduced and some relations with deductive systems are obtained.

Molodtsov [8] introduced the concept of soft set as a new mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainties that is free from the difficulties that have troubled the usual theoretical approaches. In this paper we apply the notion of soft sets by Molodtsov to the theory of subtraction algebras. The notion of soft WS-algebras, soft subalgebras and soft deductive systems are introduced, and their basic properties are derived.

알고리즘을 컴퓨터로 구현하여 수식 입력에 대한 출력을 과정없이 보여주는 프로그램이 컴퓨터 대수 시스템이다. 이 시스템에 연역적 추론을 자동화하는 과정을 수행하는 자동 연역 시스템을 결합하는 시도로 구현된 것이 Theorema 시스템이다. 오스트리아의 RISC 연구소에서 개발된 이 시스템은 Mathematica의 rewriting 기법을 사용하여 구현되었는데, 계산과 문제 해결, 증명을 할 수 있는 모드를 지원하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 계산 모드의 Theorema 언어를 구사하여 TI-92 그래픽 계산기에 탑재된 Derive 시스템의 일부를 시뮬레이션한 결과를 토대로 TI-92 메뉴얼을 Mathematica notebook의 형태로 생성하는 도구를 개발한 내용을 소대한다. 또한, 이렇게 하여 생성된 매뉴얼이 자바 서브릿을 통하여 웹기반 학습용 인터페이스로 연계되는 일련의 과정을 제시한다.
