강-콘크리트 합성 교량 바닥판의 피로거동에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Fatigue Behavior of Steel-Concrete Composite Bridge Deck)

  • Future bridge decks must have high load-resistance capacity as well as fatigue strength to withstand the increase in traffic loading and the increase in span length between girders due to the decrease in the number of main girders. Steel-concrete composite bridge decks may be proper deck types to satisfy such requirements. To promote the application of composite bridge decks, a rational process to predict and evaluate the fatigue behavior of steel concrete composite bridge deck is required. Various types of steel-concrete composite bridge decks have been developed in many countries. In this study, combining advantages of the existing composite deck types, a new type of composite bridge deck is proposed. An experimental study is performed to examine the fatigue behavior of the proposed composite bridge deck. This composite bridge deck consists of corrugated steel sheet, welded T-beams, stud-type shear connectors and reinforced concrete filler. The fatigue tests are conducted under four-point bending test with three different stress ranges in constant amplitude. The fatigue category of the fillet welding between corrugated steel sheet and the T-beam is evaluated based on the S-N data obtained from the experiment.

  • The chloride attack of the top mat of reinforcing bars is a major cause of deterioration of comcrete deck of plate girder bridges. This is caused by a current design method which requires a top mat of reinforcing bars to resist a negative bending moment in bridge decks. In recently, empirical evidence has indicated that the top transverse reinforcing bars can patially or fully be eliminated without jeopardizing the structural integrity of a deck. So, one of the most efficient way to increase durability of concrete deck of bridges is the development of new design method that reduce or eliminate the top mat reinforcing bars, mad it is possible by the exact analysis that considering the negative bending moment reducing effect which introduced by relative deflection of plate girders. In this study, we develop the new bridge deck analysis method that considered the effect of relative girder deflection by applying the principles of slope deflection method of frames, and that is fine tuned with results of finite element analysis. This new approach evaluate a bending moment in a deck based on the effect of relative girder deflection as well as the magnitude of wheel loads, the girder spacing and stiffness, deck stiffness and the span length

  • 본 논문은 노후교량바닥판 대체용으로서 하이브리드 GFRP-강재 바닥판의 휨거동을 구조적 거동특성을 기술하고 있다. 하이브리드 GFRP-강재 바닥판의 구조적 특성을 조사하기 위해 정적하중의 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 하이브리드 바닥판의 파괴모드는 초기항복을 지나서 연성거동을 나타내었다. 결과는 유한요소프로그램 ANSYS의 값과 비교하였다. 제안된 하이브리드 바닥판이 교량적용에 유용함을 확인하였다. 하이브리드 바닥판의 두께는 유사한 휨 강성을 갖는 완전복합신소재 바닥판께와 비교하였을 때 감소될 수 있었다.

  • 실리카퓸, 플라이애쉬, 고로슬래등 미분말 혼화재가 포함된 고성능 콘크리트(High Performance Concrete) 교량 바닥판 보호공법은 1980년 초부터 북미를 중심으로 사용되어 왔다. 본 보고서에서는 교량 바닥판 보호를 위한 고성능 콘크리트 적용사례와 고성능 콘크리트를 이용한 두 가지 공법(고성능 콘크리트 교면포장공법, 노출 바닥판 공법)에 대해 소개한다. 위 두 공법은 이미 북미에서 많은 실적을 보유하고 있으며 특히, 실리카퓸과 PVA섬유가 포함된 고성능 콘크리트 교면포장공법은 국내에서도 성공적으로 적용되고 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 기존 아스팔트 재료를 대체할 수 있고, 최근 국내에서도 그 적용성에 대한 관심과 실 시공이 이루어지고 있는 고성능 콘크리트를 이용한 교면포장 (Overlay) 공법 및 노출 바닥판(Full depth) 공법에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

KL-510 하중모형을 적용한 강합성 2거더교 RC 장지간 바닥판의 최소두께 (Minimum Thickness of Long Span RC Deck Slabs for Composite 2-girder Bridges Designed by KL-510 Load Model)

  • The minimum thickness of long-span deck slab is proposed by checking the limit state according to the Korean highway bridge design code(limit state design). Both minimizing thickness and ensuring safety of deck slab are important design factors to increase a competitive price of the long span deck slabs. The required thicknesses for satisfying flexural capacity, preventing punching shear failure and limiting deflection were calculated by considering KL-510 load model which has increased total load compared to DB 24 from 432 kN to 510 kN. The results of the required thickness for various limit states were compared to propose the minimum thickness as a function of span length of deck slabs. The proposed minimum thickness is influenced by satisfying flexural capacity and limiting deflection. It turns out to be similar compared to the results of the previous study by ultimate strength design method even if the live load model was increased in total weights.

A study on preventing the fall of skew and curved bridge decks by using rubber bearings

  • The paper deals with preventing the collapse of by the means of supporting the bridges by rubber bearings and pedeck structures of skew and curved bridges during earthquakes, rmitting pounding between the decks and the abutments. Seismic response during pounding is characterized by various phenomena, such as the caging of bridge decks between abutments during an earthquake or decks popping out. These behaviors depend on only a small difference in seismic intensity. Regarding the global characteristics of a seismic response, smaller clearance between a deck and its abutments results in smaller impact damage of the abutments as well as lesser deformation of the rubber bearings. Similarly, smaller clearance between a deck and the side blocks results in smaller damage. The stiffnesses of the bearings and the stiffness ratio between them control the deck displacement. In short to medium length bridges, zero clearance between a deck and the abutments or the deck and the side blocks is the most effective way in preventing the deck from falling and limits the damage to the abutments or the side blocks.

음성 Cassette Deck를 이용한 Minicomputer의 I/O 장치 (I/O device of Minicomputer Using the Audio Cassette Deck)

  • 이 논문은 음성카셋트 Deck을 이용하여 고밀도로 data를 기록 또는 재생하는 한 방법을 검토하였다. 기록에 있어서는 NRZ-TM의 혼합에 의한 한 방식으로서 data를 정 및 부 bit로 분리하여 두개의 트랙에 각각 기록한다. 재생방법은 피이크. 쎈스에 의하여 검출신호의 레벨변동에 의한 정형, 펄스의 시간편차를 제거하고 오차의 정정이 자동적으로 이루어 지며 크럭. 펄스가 검출신호 자체에서 자동적으로 발생한다. 이 방식은 음성카셋트 Deck의 내부회로는 변경하기 않고 외부에 새로운 부착만으로서 음성과 data를 병용할 수 있다. Data펄스 25Hz-4KHz의 주파수까지 기록이 가능하고 최고 전송속도는 787(bps)이다.

실습선 새바다호의 선체진동에 관하여 (On the Hull Vibration of the Training Ship Sae-Ba-Da)

  • This paper describes on the measurement of the deck vibration produced by the main engine vibration of stern trawler MIS SAE-BA-DA (2,275GT, 3,600PS) while the ship is cruising and drifting. The obtained results are as follows; 1. The deck vibration level was the highest point at vertical line which pass main engine and the lowest point at vertical line which pass top bridge while the crusing. 2. The vibration source level of the main engine, screw shaft and screw propeller were respectively 110, 90 and 80% while the crusing. 3. The main deck vibration pressure level at the check points 2, 20, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, 86m from the bow to stern was respectively 9, 8, 7, 10, 22, 45, 18, 23%. 4. The frequency distributions of the main engine, screw shaft, screw propeller vibration were from 3Hz to 10KHz, predominant frequency was 1KHz, each vibration accelration the highest level were respectively 1.3, 0.8, 0.5mm/$S^2$. 5. The predominant frequency distributions of the main deck, second deck, bridge deck and top bridge deck's vibration were from 10 to 30Hz, and each vibration accelration level were respe¬ctively 0.7, 0.05, 0.07, 0.04mm/$S^2$.

Mechanical performance and design optimization of rib-stiffened super-wide bridge deck with twin box girders in concrete

  • The present study fundamentally investigated the mechanical performance of the rib-stiffened super-wide bridge deck with twin box girders in concrete, which is a very popular application to efficiently widen the bridges with normal span. The shear lag effects of the specific cross-sections were firstly studied. The spatial stress distribution and local stiffness of the bridge deck with twin box girders were then investigated under several typical wheel load conditions. Meanwhile, a comparative study for the bridge deck with and without stiffening ribs was also carried out during the investigation; thereby, a design optimization for the stiffening ribs was further suggested. Finally, aiming at the preliminary design, an approximate methodology to manually calculate the bending moments of the rib-stiffened bridge deck was analytically proposed for engineers to quickly assess its performance. This rib-stiffened bridge deck with twin box girders can be widely applied for concrete (especially concrete cable-stayed) bridges with normal span, however, requiring a super-wide bridge width due to the traffic flow.

데크 크레인의 리프팅 설치 작업에 대한 안전성 평가 (Safety Assessment for Installation of Deck Crane by Lifting)

  • 조선소에서 데크 크레인은 지상에 설치된 타워 크레인이나 해상 크레인을 사용하여 리프팅 설치 방법에 의해 선박에 탑재된다. 데크 크레인의 두 점 리프팅 설치 작업 시에는 임시 고정 지그 등을 사용하는데, 안전한 리프팅 작업을 위해서는 고정 지그의 형상 및 설치 위치를 고려한 리프팅 안전성 평가가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 데크 크레인 및 고정 지그에 해당하는 유한요소해석 모델을 각각 생성하고, 리프팅 반력 및 경계 조건을 적용한 구조 해석을 수행하여 리프팅 설치 작업에 대한 안전성을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 안전성 평가 방법은 다양한 데크 크레인의 리프팅 설치 작업 시에 보다 안전한 리프팅 작업 가이드를 제공할 수 있는 해석적 툴로 활용될 수 있다.
