  • This paper aims to describe how the decision making capability and context-aware computing are jointly used to establish ubiquitous applications. An amended DSS paradigm: CKDDM is proposed in this paper. Under the CKDDM paradigm, a framework of ubiquitous decision support systems (ubiDSS) is addressed with the description of the subsystems within.

  • Open Decision Support System(DSS) is an automated and transparent system that is built to be shared both within and across organizations. The open DSS has been thought to be a set of decision components that are communicating through Web protocols. These characteristics intuitively invite the Web services concepts, which are currently one of the new trends in network-based business services. However, web services still are not active enough to be autonomous, and to provide for composing functionalities. These lead to the motivation on building a sophisticated web service to contain these features and to utilize web services on behalf of the user. This paper aims to propose a new concept of Meta Web Service, a web service-based open DSS. Decision modules in a dynamic and open DSS can be viewed as a web service. The Meta Web Service understands the users problem statement with ontology, performs web service discovery, web service composition, and automatically generates codes for composite web service execution. A prototype of example web service has been developed to show the feasibility of the proposed idea.

  • There are various cases that we vote for making a decision or combining ideas (i.e. human being's opinions) in group meetings. Group Decision Support System(GDSS) provides us with a number of voting methods for decision making or aggregation of the ideas. It is generally difficult to select a voting method appropriate for given a meeting situation, without any aid of experts or computers having a knowledge on voting. In this paper we propose a supporting system for selecting an appropriate voting method. Since the selected method is recommended to the facilitator of GDSS, a part of time and effort related with the voting would be reduced. The knowledge in the system is represented as rules that are inductively generated from examples of voting. We used UNiK-INDUCE with ID3 algorithm so as to learn, which is a tool of developing expert systems.

GDSS환경하에서 집단상호작용이 집단의사 결정의 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Group Interaction on The Performance of Group Decision Making in A GDSS Environment)

  • Most of the research on a group decision support system [GDSS] has focused on directly examining its effect on the decision outcomes. Under this research framework, however, the role of group interaction process is largely ignored. This study focuses on the effect of the group interaction process on decision-making performance when a GDSS is used as the only medium for group interaction. Specifically, this study sought to determine whether significant relationships exist between the quality of the decision and the decision functions, contingent phases, and different decision paths. Natural interaction processes of decision -making groups was simulated in an experimental setting in which volunteer subjects from several business classes were assigned to dispersed three-person groups undertook the experimental task via a decision network. A baseline GDSS was developed for this setting. The results of this study confirmed earlier studies in a non - GDSS setting to suggest significant effects of decision functions and contingent phases on the quality of decision but no significant relationship between decision path and the quality of group decision.

블록체인 기반 의료정보시스템 도입을 위한 의사결정모델 (Decision making model for introducing Medical information system based on Block chain Technologies)

  • Purpose The purpose of this paper is to observe the relative priorities of importances among the modified versions of Block chain system, being based on AHP decision support model which should be also proposed in this paper. Design/methodology/approach Four versions modified from the beginning of Block chain were divided into Public& Permissionless, Private&Permissionless, Public&Permissioned and Private&Permissioned types. Five criteria for evaluating the four versions whether the version were suitable for Medical information system were introduced from five factors of Technologies Accept Model, which were Security, Availability, Variety, Reliability and Economical efficiency. We designed Decision support model based on AHP which would select the best alternative version suitable for introducing the Block chain technology into the medical information systems. We established the objective of the AHP model into finding the best choice among the four modified versions. First low layer of the model contains the five factors which consisted of Security, Availability, Variety, Reliability and Economical efficiency. Second low layer of the model contains the four modified versions which consisted Public&Permissionless, Private&Permissionless, Public&Permissioned and Private& Permissioned types. The structural questionnaire based on the AHP decision support model was designed and used to survey experts of medical areas. The collected data by the question investigation was analyzed by AHP analysis technique. Findings The importance priority of Security was highest among five factors of Technologies Accept Mode in the first layer. The importance priority of Private&Permissioned type was highest among four modified versions of Block chain technologies in second low layer. The second importance priority was Private&Permissionless type. The strong point of Private&Permissioned type is to be able to protect personal information and have faster processing speeds. The advantage of Private& Permissionless type is to be also able to protect personal information as well as from forging and altering transaction data. We recognized that it should be necessary to develop new Block chain technologies that would enable to have faster processing speeds as well as from forging and altering transaction data.

GIS의 패션 산업에의 전략적 전개에 대한 고찰 (Strategic deployment of GIS for fashion Industries)

  • 최근 GIS는 국내에서 뿐 아니라 외국에서도 마케팅의 의사결정문제와 그에 따른 의사결정지원시스템에 적용이 시도되고 있다. GIS는 강력한 공간분석 기능과 함께 자료의 통합과 그래픽 기능 등을 갖추고 있으며 이와 같은 기능으로 인해 많은 소매 운영자와 생산자들로 구성되는 패션 산업에 있어서 의사결정을 지원하는 하나의 좋은 수단으로서 점차 인식이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 시점에 본 논문에서는 GIS를 패션마케팅에 적용함에 있어서 몇가지 주요한 요소들을 고찰하여 보았다. 이를 위해 현재의 패션마케팅 의사결정문제에 있어서의 주요 이슈에 대한 문제제기에서 출발하여 다속성 의사결정과 다목적 의사결정의 프레임이 어떻게 패션마케팅 의사결정지원에 이용될 수 있는가를 알아보고 이를 실제로 구현하는데 있어서의 한계점 역시 아울러 고찰하여 보았다. 논의의 주안점은 주로 현재의 패션마케팅 의사결정시스템과 GIS 기능의 통합에 두었다.

A Study on the Development of Intelligent Decision Systems Using Influence Diagram

  • Intelligent Decision System support the decision analysis process in the managerial problems with decision analytic knowledge as well as domain specific knowledge. Influence Diagram has been one of the major knowledge representation in the intelligent decision system. In the development of intelligent decision system, knowledge acquisition is also known to be difficult. This paper suggests a developing tool using an influence diagram and Verbal Protocol Analysis which facilitates knowledge acquision for intelligent decision system. An ennvironmental decision making problem is used as an illustrative example and validation of the suggested developing tool is discussed. The suggested tool is very flexible to be expanded or applied to similar problems.

그룹의사결정지원을 위한 인터넷 기능개선 방향

  • 본 연구에서는 인터넷 환경에서 그룹의사결정시스템(GDSS)을 활용하기 위해 현재의 인터넷 기능개선 방향에 대해 분석하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 그룹의사결정지시스템의 요구사항을 기존의 문헌을 통해 정보전달, 의사결정 지원 정보제공 및 정보전달 흐름제어로 분류하였다. 다음에는 각 분야별로 현재의 인터넷이 가지고 있는 한계를 분석하고 이러한 한계를 극복할 수 있는 기술적인 대안들을 OSI 계층별로 분석하였다. 분석결과 현재의 인터넷에서 응용 프로그램과 TCP/IP계층 사이에 전달정보흐름 추적기능(Tracing), 응용 프로그램 코딩기능(Application Dependent Coding), 정보전달모드 제어기능(communication Mode Selection) 및 정보보안기능(Encoding/Decoding)이 추가되는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 링크계층에는 셀교환 방식이 적합한 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 그룹의사결정지원시스템 디자인 및 향후 인터넷 화상회의를 위한 시스템 디자인에서도 유용하게 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

조리·외식 전공자의 일반적 특성에 따른 학교지원, 진로결정 자기효능감, 학교만족 및 학습지속의향 차이 분석 (Analysis of Differences in School Support, Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy, School Satisfaction and Learning Persistence Perceived by University Students - Targeting Students Majoring in Culinary Art and Food Service -)

  • This study evaluated methods of improving sustained learning participation by examining the structural relationship of school support consisting of professor support, friend-senior support and educational environment support, career decisionmaking self-efficacy, school satisfaction, and learning persistence depending on the characteristics of college students majoring in culinary art and food service. The study findings were as follows. First, the general characteristics of college students majoring in culinary art and food service were perceived significantly more by female students than by male students. Second, school support directly influenced the career decision-making self-efficacy and school satisfaction, but did not directly influence the learning persistence. Instead, school support influenced school satisfaction and learning persistence indirectly by the medium of career decision-making self-efficacy. Third, career decision-making self-efficacy directly influenced school satisfaction and learning persistence and indirectly influenced learning persistence by the medium of school satisfaction. Lastly, school satisfaction directly influenced the learning persistence, implying that school satisfaction is an important factor for the learning persistence of college students majoring in culinary art and food service. These results show that, because school members and environmental support cannot exclusively make learning persistence, diverse systems and programs must be developed and applied to improve the career decision-making self-efficacy and school satisfaction of college students majoring in culinary art and food service.
