  • A subcontract work order is the basis of the construction process and consists of the root and trunk of the construction industry. The construction process through a subcontract work order is an important element of project success, and it is the basic unit of creating profit in the construction industry. Therefore, correct analysis and forecasting of subcontract work orders allow correct estimation of construction cost and profit which is the foundation of corporate decision making. This study has started to provide predictions of subcontractor's bidding-ratio for decision-making. Since the actual project data has been used in this study, the contribution level of the model is highly expected in actual field. The statistical confidential level of adjusted decision coefficient is concluded low because of limited sample numbers. However, its accuracy and confidence level can be increased through increasing sample numbers, considering more variables, and studying of reducing error.

  • To inspect the defects of printed markings on the surface of IC package, the OCV (Optical Character Verification) method based on NCC (Normalized Correlation Coefficient) pattern matching is widely used. In order to detect the micro pattern defects appearing on the small portion of the markings, a Partitioned NCC pattern matching method was proposed to overcome the limitation of the NCC pattern matching. In this method, the reference pattern is first partitioned into several blocks and the NCC values are computed and are combined in these small partitioned blocks, rather than just using the NCC value for the whole reference pattern. In this paper, we proposed a method to decide the proper number of partition blocks and a method to inspect and combine the NCC values of each partitioned block to identify the defective markings.

  • Flow control range of valve, which is installed on pipeline, varies according to valve type, pipe diameter, pipe length, roughness, and elevation difference of both ends of pipeline. A lot of computation efforts and knowledge are needed to estimate flow control range of valve, considering above many parameters. The table of flow control range of each valve type is presented for convenience of pipeline design engineers who must make decision of valve size and type in this study. Also the reason that butterfly valve is recommended for flow control, and gate valve is forbidden is presented via quantification and figures in this study.

간호대학생의 윤리적 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Ethical decision-making of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The aim of this descriptive research study was to identify the factors affecting the ethical decision-making of nursing students. Methods: A convenience sample of 193 nursing students from three nursing colleges in D city who were engaged in clinical practice completed an online Google Forms questionnaire from September 9 to September 20, 2021. Using SPSS 23.0, data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, a one-way ANOVA, Scheffé's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: The influencing factors of ideal ethical decision-making were guilt (β=.38, p<.001), awareness of the nurses' Code of Ethics (β=.18, p=.023) and motivation for entering school, among general characteristics (β=-.18, p=.033). The explanatory power of the model was 22.2%. Further, the influencing factors of realistic ethical decision-making were ideal ethical decision-making (β=.26, p=.001) and grade (among general characteristics) (β=.15, p=.029); the explanatory power of the model was 17.9%. Conclusion: Various educational tools and programs pertaining to making ideal and ethical decisions must be enhanced to promote ethical choices in clinical areas and realistic ethical decision-making ability to actually make such choices. This focus may enable nurses to improve their nursing professionalism in the future.

  • Purpose : This study aims to explore nursing activities after the decision to discontinue life-sustaining treatment, awareness of a good death, and perception of life-sustaining treatment decisions among nurses in intensive care units (ICUs) at tertiary general hospitals. Methods : Participants were 173 nurses working in two tertiary general hospitals. The data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using an independent t-test, paired t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé's test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results : Participants were 173 nurses working in two tertiary hospitals. The nursing activity increase was the greatest in the spiritual domain, and the physical domain was where the activities decreased the most. There were significant associations between Awareness of good death (Clinical) and Perception of life-sustaining treatment decision(r=.26, p <.001), Awareness of good death (Closure) and Perception of life-sustaining treatment decision(r=.36, p <.001), and Awareness of good death (Personal control) and Perception of life-sustaining treatment decision(r=.49, p <.001). Conclusion : Based on the results, systematic education programs and job training are required to improve the awareness regarding good death and perception of life-sustaining treatment decision for nurses in ICUs where discontinuing life-sustaining treatment decisions are made.

호스피스 완화의료 전문기관 간호사의 임종간호수행 영향요인 (Factors Affecting End-of-life Care Performance of Nurses in Hospice and Palliative Nursing Institutions)

  • 본 연구는 호스피스 완화의료 전문기관 간호사의 임종간호스트레스, 죽음인식, 사전의사결정 태도가 임종간호수행에 미치는 영향 정도를 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사 연구이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 보건복지부로부터 호스피스 완화의료 전문기관으로 지정된 의료기관에 근무하는 호스피스 간호사 200명이다. 본 연구의 자료수집은 서면 설문지와 인터넷 설문조사 두가지 방법을 사용하여 2021년 8월 9일부터 9월 30일까지 이루어졌다. 자료분석방법은 대상자의 임종간호스트레스, 죽음인식, 사전의사결정 태도, 임종간호수행 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 Pearson's correlation coefficient를 사용하였고 대상자의 임종간호수행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 Hierarchical Regression을 사용하였다. 본 연구결과 임종간호수행과 죽음인식(r=.22, p=.002), 임종간호수행과 사전의사결정 태도(r=.20, p=.004)는 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 그리고 독립변수를 추가한 MODEL2에서 연령, 사전의사결정 태도, 죽음인식이 유의한 임종간호수행 영향요인이었으며 이들의 설명력은 10.4%이었다(F=3.90, p<.001). 호스피스 간호사의 임종간호스행 능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 그 영향요인을 고려한 중재가 요구된다.

일부 치과위생사의비판적 사고경향과 임상적 의사결정이 윤리적 딜레마에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Critical Thinking and Clinical Decision-Making on Ethical Dilemmas by Some Dental Hygienists)

  • The aim of this descriptive cross-sectional study was determine the effect of critical thinking and clinical decision-making on ethical dilemmas. A survey of dental hygienists residing in Busan and South Gyeongsang, Korea was conducted using convenience sampling between September and December, 2013. A total of 153 responses were used in the final analysis. Data analysis and structural equation modeling were performed with IBM SPSS Statistics(version 21.0) and AMOS(version 18.0) programs. A negative(-) correlation coefficient(-0.37) was observed between critical thinking and ethical dilemmas on statistical analysis, i.e., higher critical thinking led to less ethical dilemmas(p=0.024, CR=-2.264). The values from the structural equation model were ${\chi}^2=98.124$ df=66, GFI=0.919, AGFI=0.871, and RMSEA=0.057. This study proposed a theoretical model in which critical thinking, ethical values, and decision-making skills should be firmly established to effectively respond to specific situations, such as ethical dilemmas, and that greater tendencies for critical thinking led to less ethical dilemmas, thereby demonstrating a negative(-) correlation between the two parameters.

Evaluation criterion for different methods of multiple-attribute group decision making with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information

  • A number of effective methods for multiple-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) have been proposed in recent years. However, the different methods frequently yield different, even sometimes contradictory, results for the same problem. In this paper a novel criterion to determine the advantages and disadvantages of different methods is proposed. First, the decision-making process is divided into three parts: translation of experts' preferences, aggregation of experts' opinions, and comparison of the alternatives. Experts' preferences aggregation is considered the core step, and the quality of the collective matrix is considered the most important evaluation index for the aggregation methods. Then, methods to calculate the similarity measure, correlation, correlation coefficient, and energy of the intuitionistic fuzzy matrices are proposed, which are employed to evaluate the collective matrix. Thus, the optimal method can be selected by comparing the collective matrices when all the methods yield different results. Finally, a novel approach for aggregating experts' preferences with IVIFN is presented. In this approach, experts' preferences are mapped as points into two-dimensional planes, with the plant growth simulation algorithm (PGSA) being employed to calculate the optimal rally points, which are inversely mapped to IVIFNs to establish the collective matrix. In the study, four different methods are used to address one example problem to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

H.264/AVC에서 DCT계수 분포를 이용한 고속 인트라 모드 결정 방법 (Fast intra mode decision using DCT coefficient distribution in H.264/AVC)

  • H.264/AVC 부호기에서 각 모드 결정에 사용되는 방법인 율-왜곡 최적화(RDO(Rate-distortion optimization))는 부호기의 높은 성능 향상을 보이지만 많은 계산량을 요구하는 문제점을 가진다. 이러한 계산량을 줄이기 위해 원본 영상의 각 블록에 DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) 계수 분포를 통해 각 블록의 방향성을 예측하여 부호기의 RDO 수행에 참여하는 후보 모드 수를 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 H.264/AVC에 부호화 방법에 비해 적은 PSNR 손실 및 비트의 증가에도 불구하고 평균 68.40%의 부호기 속도 향상을 가진다.
