확장칼만필터를 이용한 무인잠수정의 GPS 보조 추측항법 알고리즘 설계 (Design of GPS-aided Dead Reckoning Algorithm of AUV using Extended Kalman Filter)

  • This paper introduces a GPS-aided dead reckoning algorithm that asymptotically estimates the heading bias error of a magnetic compass based on geodetic north, improves the position error accumulated by dead reckoning, and helps the estimated position of an AUV to represent a position in the NED coordinate system, by receiving GPS position information when surfaced. Based on the results of a simulation, the locational error was bounded with a modest distance, after estimating the AUV position and heading bias error of the magnetic compass when surfaced. In other words, it was verified that proposed algorithm improves the position error in the NED coordinate system.

  • This Study is on the excavated clothing from lady Lee' tomb in spring 2003, on Chungjoo Province. These are significant as the 18th century's real clothing, we examine the real Jegories as possible and the results shows there are two group in sizes. we regard the large Jegori is for the dead as a shroud, the small one is for daily. it shows that Jegori for the dead is about 1.3 larger than a daily one, we can see Jegori for the dead was going to be large from the 18th century, and it's needlework was not fine than daily one, but the Color and the material on should look like as daily in this time, and the motif is cloud pattern, we can see two changes in daily Jegori that one thing is to be short and narrow, the other is to be curve at the corner of collar(Gitmuri), the corner of edge(supco), the below line of sleeve(baerae) in the daily Jegori.

A Novel High-Performance Strategy for A Sensorless AC Motor Drive

  • The sensorless AC motor drive is a popular topic of study due to the cost and reliability of speed and position sensors. Most sensorless algorithms are based on the mathematical modeling of motors including electrical variables such as phase current and voltage. Therefore, the accuracy of such variables largely affects the performance of the sensorless AC motor drive. However, the output voltage of the SVPWM-VSI, which is widely used in sensorless AC motor drives, has considerable errors. In particular, the SVPWM-VSI is error-prone in the low speed range because the constant DC link voltage causes poor resolution in a low output voltage command and the output voltage is distorted due to dead time and voltage drop. This paper investigates a novel high-performance strategy for overcoming these problems in a sensorless ac motor drive. In this paper, a variation of the DC link voltage and a direct compensation for dead time and voltage drop are proposed. The variable DC link voltage leads to an improved resolution of the inverter output voltage, especially in the motor's low speed range. The direct compensation for dead time and voltage drop directly calculates the duration of the switching voltage vector without the modification of the reference voltage and needs no additional circuits. In addition, the proposed strategy reduces a current ripple, which deteriorates the accuracy of a monitored current and causes torque ripple and additional loss. Simulation and experimentation have been performed to verify the proposed strategy.

과도운전시 가솔린기관의 성능평가 (Evaluation of Transient Performance of Carburettered Gasoline Engine)

  • An experimental study was carried out to evaluate the characteristics of transient performance of carburettered gasoline engine under rapid accelerating transient driving conditions. In order to evaluate the characteristics of transient performance quantitatively, the concept of dead time $t_d$ response delay time $t_r$ are introduced. Performance parameters such as air mass fiowrate Gat, engine speed N, manifold boost pressure Pb, and output torque T are measured simultaneously during the rapid opening of the throttle valve by the stepping motor. During the rapid opening of the throttle valve, air mass fiowrate Gat is increased immediately without delay time, but response of engine revolution N, and output torque T are delayed. Therefore hesitation, and stumble phenomena are occurred. Dead time $t_d$ and response delay time $t_r$ of engine revolution N, which is extremely delayed comparing to other performance parameters, are respectively 0.2-0.3sec., 3.0-4.6sec., and dead time rate $t_d/{\Delta}t$ and response delay time rate $t_r/{\Delta}t$ are linearly increased with the throttle valve opening rate ${\theta}$ during the acceleration from 12 degree to 20 degree at 1250rpm.

인버터 출력파형 개선을 위한 새로운 휴지기간 최소화 알고리즘 (A Novel Dead Time Minimization Algorithm for improving the inverter output waveforms)

  • In this paper, a novel dead time minimization algorithm is proposed for improving the output waveform of an inverter. The adverse effects of the dead time are mainly described by the voltage drop and the distortion factor of waveforms. The principle of the proposed algorithm is organized with forbidding unnecessary firings fo the inverter switches which are not conducted even though the gate signal is impressed. The proposed methods are explained with the conduction mode of output currents. The H/W and S/W implementation method of the proposed algorithm are also presented. The validity of the proposed algorithm is verified by comparing the simulation and experimental results with conventional methods. It can be concluded from the results that the proposed algorithm has the advantage which is able to reduce the harmonics in the output voltages and which the output voltage can nearly be equal to the reference value. Another advantage of the proposed method is the reduction of total numbers of switching so that the switching losses of inverter drives can be minimized.

  • 계측장치에서 관측한 계수율에 대한 비직선성 교정을 결정하는 한 방법을 제시하였다. 불감시간은 계수율이 의존성을 가지고 있다는 가정하에서 발전시킨 한 표현식은 실험결과와 잘 일치하였다. 계측장치의 펄스전압의 계수율에 따른 ,변화량을 파고분석장치를 이용하여 측정 하였다. 이 방법은 광범한 계수율 범위에 걸치어 불감시간에 대한 정착찬 값을 주었다. 개요한 이 측정기술로 불감손실로 인한 비직선성의 정확한 교정할 수 있었다. 불감시간은 계수율이 증가함에 따라 감소하는 것이 관측되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 정현파형 브러시리스 직류 전동기의 속도제어를 위해 두 개의 스위칭 라인에 의해 구성된 채터링 둔감영역을 갖는 가변구조 속도제어기를 설계한다. 슬라이딩 모드 과정 중 과도상태에서 발생하는 고주파 채터링을 저주파로 한정시키기 위해 데드 존(Dead Zone) 함수의 도입을 제안하고, 정상상태에서의 채터링 및 정상상태 오차를 제거하기 위해서는 제어입력에 시변이득을 적용한다. 제안된 데드 존 함수는 두개의 스위칭 함수로 구성된 슬라이딩 영역을 표시하며 이 영역에 시스템의 상태가 존재 시제어 구조를 PI제어기로 변경하여 채터링이 발생하지 않으며 이 영역의 이탈 시만 가변구조제어를 적용하므로 채터링이 발생하게 되어 과도상태의 고주파 채터링을 저주파로 감소시킬 수 있다. 설계된 속도 제어기에 대해 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 그 성능을 보인다.

Utilization of Planned Routes and Dead Reckoning Positions to Improve Situation Awareness at Sea

  • Understanding a ship's present position has been one of the most important tasks during a ship's voyage, in both ancient and modern times. Particularly, a ship's dead reckoning (DR) has been used for predicting traffic situations and collision avoidance actions. However, the current system that uses the traditional method of calculating DR employs the received position and speed data only. Therefore, it is not applicable for predicting navigation within the harbor limits, owing to the frequent changes in the ship's course and speed in this region. In this study, planned routes were applied for improving the reliability of the proposed system and predicting the traffic patterns in advance. The proposed method of determining the dead reckoning position (DRP) uses not only the ships' received data but also the navigational patterns and tracking data in harbor limits. The Mercator sailing formulas were used for calculating the ships' DRPs and planned routes. The data on the traffic patterns were collected from the automatic identification system and analyzed using MATLAB. Two randomly chosen ships were analyzed for simulating their tracks and comparing the DR method during the timeframes of the ships' movement. The proposed method of calculating DR, combined with the information on planned routes and DRPs, is expected to contribute towards improving the decision-making abilities of operators.

  • In a general purpose inverter, a dead-time compensation strategy is very important for reducing torque ripples and acoustic noises of motors. However, in the case of small capacity inverter, the accurate dead-time compensation is hard to be obtained because a removal of the switching noise in a feedback current signal is difficult on condition of low-cost implementation. In this paper, the operation characteristics of the general purpose inverter applied the dead time compensation algorithm using an instantaneous back calculation of the phase angle of the current are presented.

이기종 무선망 환경에서 Freeze DeadLine 기법을 통한 수직 핸드오버의 성능개선 (Performance Enhancement for Vertical Handover in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks Using Freeze DeadLine)

  • 본 논문에서는 이기종 무선망 네트워크 환경에서 핸드오버가 발생할 때 생기는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 FDL(Freeze DeadLine) 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 많은 선행연구들은 하위 계층의 정보를 이용하여 핸드오버 과정에서 생기는 문제를 해결하기 집중하였다. 하지만 본 논문에서는 핸드오버 과정에서 생기는 상위계층에 대한 문제를 다루고 있다. 본 논문에서는 핸드오버가 발생할 때 상위 계층인 전송계층에서 생기는 문제점을 분석하고, 성능을 개선하기 위하여 FDL알고리즘을 제안하였다. FDL알고리즘을 이용하여 기존에 제안되었던 기법보다 더 나은 성능을 보임을 이론적으로 분석하였고, 이를 NS-2(Network Simulator -2)를 통해 성능 평가 하였다.
