Purpose: The purposes of the study were to identify level of health literacy and factors influencing health literacy of migrant workers. Methods: Data were collected using a cross sectional correlational design. Participants were 128 migrant workers in Korea. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test, and hierarchical multiple regression with the SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The health literacy level of migrant worker was low and they had difficulty in understanding patient education materials and medical forms. Factors influencing health literacy were residential areas (city or rural), education level, length of stay in Korea, and ability to understand spoken Korean. Regression model accounted for 14.2% of the variance in health literacy. Conclusion: Lower levels of health literacy make it difficult for migrant works to visit medical facilities and perform health behaviors appropriately. Therefore, diverse strategies should be developed by nurses to enhance the health literacy level of migrant workers.

The purpose of this study is to prepare basic data that can be applied to the development of personalized programs in which chronic patients can actively participate in health care on their own, by analyzing the relationship between health literacy, level of metal health, and level of life health of patients with chronic diseases. For the study, the Korean Medical Panel's annual data(Version 2.1) was used, and 4,095 people aged 19 or older with chronic diseases and without disabilities were extracted, and frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and chi-squared goodness of fit test, etc. were performed with IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0. As a result, it was found that the higher health literacy, the higher level of mental health and level of life health. In addition, the distribution between health literacy, level of mental health, and level of life health was found to be different from each other. Respondents with higher ability to health literacy tend to evaluate level of metal health and life health lower, and the rate of change in this trend was relatively higher than the rate of change in the tendency to evaluate level of mental health and life health higher in respondents with lower ability to health literacy.
The present study aims to examine whether the gender and school of students affect smart media literacy in South Korea. For the purpose of this study, data in Korea Youth Competency Measurement and International Comparative research II was analyzed. The data was nationwide data collected from 11,284 students in elementary, middle, high, and undergraduate school in South Korea. The participants were asked to answer 18 items of smart media literacy questionnaire (SMLQ) that consisted of four factors; ability to learn using smart media, ability to operate smart devices, ability to use smart applications, and positive perception of using smart media. As a result, statically significant differences were observed in the participants' gender and school levels. In relation to the gender level, female students scored higher than male students on the smart literacy survey. With regard to the school level, middle school students scored the highest while elementary school students scored the lowest. In addition, a statistically significant difference was found in the gender level of smart media literacy on two dependent measures in terms of the interaction effect of gender and school levels. Based on the findings of the present study, strategies to improve smart media literacy according to students' gender and school levels have been made and suggestions for further research have been proposed in detail.

In differences in verbal and functional literacy depending on experience of education for oral health behavior and oral health, statistical significance (p<0.05) was showed highly on verbal and functional literacy in the case that subjects have an experience of education for oral health and their children have not been experienced of oral illness. And when it comes to the case that subjects have experience of education for oral health within one to two years, statistical significance was showed highly on verbal literacy. It showed that verbal and functional oral health literacy effects to oral health care behavior of children judging from results that the higher level of mother's verbal oral health literacy, the higher score of children's oral health knowledge, attitude and behavior. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop the systematic program which is appropriate for characteristics of each oral period in childhood depending on level of primary caregiver's oral health literacy, and systematic education should be preceded to enhance the literacy of the caregiver. To achieve the purpose, data were collected using on- and off-line surveys containing questionnaires developed by the researchers. The survey items were categorized into 11 groups such as operation capability, computer use and communication, word processing, ethics, computer fundamentals, understanding of educational IT, information instruments use, application s/w use, work processing with computer, and internet use capability. Major findings were as follows: (1) Female teachers rated their IT literacy level higher than male teachers. (2) Teachers with longer teaching experience rated their IT literacy level lower than those of shorter experience. (3) There were no signigicant differences among sex, school, job grade of teachers at the present level of literacy, but there were significant differences among sex, age, carreer, job grade, and subject matter at the expectation level except for school grade.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of statistical literacy among fifth and sixth graders in the data presentation task based on the speculative data generation process. For the research, the data presentation tasks based on the speculative data generation process was designed and statistical literacy standards for evaluating the student's level was presented based on prior studies. It is meaningful that the stepwise presentation of the students' statistical literacy and analysis of their developmental patterns can help them to find their current position and reach a higher level of performance. In this study, the standard of statistical literacy level was clarified based on the previous research, and a new perspective was presented about the data presentation instruction in the statistical education by analyzing the students' responses by each level.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the information literacy of preschoolers and their developmental trends. The subjects in this study were 122 preschoolers. After taking tests in information literacy and early childhood development, the collected data was analyzed. The findings of the study were as follows : First, there were gaps among the preschoolers in the level of early childhood development according to the relative levels of their information literacy. When a post-hoc analysis was carried out to investigate intergroup differences in detail, there were statistically significant gaps between the preschoolers with excellent information literacy and those with intermediate-or poor information literacy, and between the preschoolers with intermediate information literacy and those with poor information literacy. Second, the differences in terms of the levels of information literacy and the impact these differences made to their body, cognition, language, sociability and emotions which comprise the five subfactors of the early childhood development inventory were checked after the mutual influence of the five subfactors was controlled. As a result, statistically significant gaps were apparent in all the subfactors of early childhood development according to relative levels of information literacy. The preschoolers who had a better level of information literacy exhibited a statistically significantly better level of development in every subfactor.

The purpose of this research is to discuss the concept of measuring cryptocurrency literacy, especially Bitcoin. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data source comes from a literature review on cryptocurrency and opinions from Bitcoin academics, traders, and investors. Data collection was conducted through desk evaluations and interviews to determine what attributes should be considered for assessing Bitcoin literacy. The results of a literature review reinforced by discussion show that eight attributes can be used to assess basic level Bitcoin literacy, namely Bitcoin supply, regulatory guarantees, transaction recording, the role of third parties, treatment of transfer transactions, initial coin offerings, the smallest Bitcoin unit, and conversion with another currency. These eight attributes can be used to measure Bitcoin literacy through various questions with the choice of true, false, and do not know answers. This research is essential because there is no method to measure Bitcoin literacy. This research can be a measuring tool that becomes a reference or standard in assessing or measuring Bitcoin literacy. This study's results provide benefits to the development of science in the form of a tool that can be used to assess Bitcoin literacy and become a standard in assessing a person's level of understanding of Bitcoin.
