반도체 리드 프레임 제조를 위한 프로그레시브 금형의 CAD/CAM 시스템 개발 (Development of Progressive Die CAD/CAM System for Manufacturing Lead Frame, Semiconductor)

  • This paper describes a research work of developing computer-aided design of lead frame, semiconductor, with blanking operation which is very precise for progressive working. Approach to the system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. This system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD using a personal computer and in I-DEAS Drafting Programming Language on the I-DEAS Master Series Drafting with Workstation, HP9000/715(64) and tool kit on the ESPRIT. Transference of data among AutoCAD, I-DEAS Master Series Drafting, and ESPRIT is accomplished by DXF(drawing exchange format) and IGES(initial graphics exchange specification) methods. This system is composed of six modules, which are input and shape treatment, production feasibility check, strip-layout, die-layout, modelling, and post-processor modules. The system can design process planning and Die design considering several factors and generate NC data automatically according to drawings of die-layout module. As forming process of high precision product and die design system using 2-D geometry recognition are integrated with technology of process planning, die design, and CAE analysis, standardization of die part in die design and process planning of high pression product for semiconductor lead frame is possible to set. Results carried out in each module will provide efficiencies to the designer and the manufacturer of lead frame, semiconductor.

장기 파랑측정자료를 이용한 평상파 산정 방법론 (A Methodology of Estimating Design Waves for the Operable Harbor Condition Using Long-term Wave Data)

  • 본 논문에서는 장기간 측정된 파랑자료를 이용하여 신뢰성 있는 항만설계를 하기 위한 평상파 산정에 대한 방법론을 제시하였다. 제안된 방법론을 부산항 내 해경부두 설계에 적용하여, 부산항 입구 조도 전면해상에서 장기간 측정된 파랑자료를 이용하여 97.5% 평상파를 산정하였다. 1993년 2월부터 2002년 12월까지 측정된 파랑자료를 파향별로 유의파고와 유의파주기의 결합분포를 구한 후, 포물선형 완경사 방정식 파랑모델을 이용하여 해경부두에서의 평상파 조건을 산정하였다. 해경부두 위치에서의 항만설계를 위한 97.5% 평상파의 파고는 1.06 m 이며, 이는 부산항 항외에서 입사되는 파향 E, 유의파고 1.75 m, 유의파주기 7 sec에 의해 생성되는 것으로 분석되었다. 부산항 내 풍파에 의한 평상파에의 영향을 검토하였으나, 항내 풍파는 평상파 산정에 영향이 없으며 항외에서 항내로 진입하는 너울성 파고의 영향이 지배적임이 밝혀졌다. 따라서 항내의 풍파의 영향만을 고려하여 평상파를 추정하였을 경우 심각한 오류가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

디퓨져와 노즐을 이용한 열공압형 마이크로 펌프의 입력 전압과 주파수에 따른 펌핑 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Pumping Characteristics of Diffuser-Nozzle Based Thermopneumatic Micropumps with Different Input Voltages and Frequencies)

  • This study has been conducted to investigate the pumping characteristics of diffuser-nozzle based thermopneumatic micropumps with different input voltages and frequencies. In this study, the displacements of the membrane have been obtained changing the input voltage and frequency in load-free state because it is very difficult to measure the displacement of the membrane in an actual load state. It has been found that the amplitude of the membrane displacement increases as the input voltage increases. The pressure head of the thermopneumatic micropump increases almost linearly over some range of the input voltage and decreases almost linearly as the frequency increases. Also, the results show that the thermopneumatic micropump can pump the fluid over a certain input voltage. This study can be utilized as basic data for design and evaluation of thermopneumatic micropumps.

  • As a part of the effort for improving the durability design based on a set of the deem-to-satisfy specifications, it is important and primary to quantitatively identify the environmental impact to a target reinforced concrete structure. In this work, an effort is made to quantitatively calculate the environmental affecting factor with using a fuzzy inference that it indicates the severity of environmental impact to the exposed reinforced concrete structure or member. This system is composed of input region, output region and rule base. For developing the fuzzy inference system surface chloride concentration{chloride), cyclic degree of wet and dry(CWD), relative humidity(RH) and temperature (TEMP) were selected as the input parameter to environmental affecting factor(EAF) of output parameter. The Rules in inference engine are generated from the engineering knowledge and intuition based on some international code of practises as well as various researcher's experimental data. The devised fuzzy inference system was verified comparing the inferred value with the investigation data, and proved to be validated. Thus it is anticipated that this system for quantifying EAF is certain to be considered into the starting point to develop the performance-based durability design considering the service life of structure.

다구찌법을 이용한 트랙터 캐빈 방진고무의 형상최적설계 (Shape Optimal Design of Anti-vibration Rubber Assembly in Tractor Cabin Using Taguchi Method)

  • We performed shape optimization of an anti-vibration rubber assembly which is used in the field option cabin of agricultural tractors to improve the vibration isolation capability. To characterize the hyper-elastic material property of rubber, we performed uniaxial and biaxial tension tests and used the data to calibrate the material model applied in the finite element analyses. We conducted a field test to characterize the input excitation from the tractor and the output response at the cabin frame. To account for the nonlinear behavior of rubber, we performed static analyses to derive the load-displacement curve of the anti-vibration rubber assembly. The stiffness of the rubber assembly could be calculated from this curve and was input to the harmonic analyses of the cabin. We compared the results with the test data for verification. We utilized Taguchi's parameter design method to determine the optimal shape of the anti-vibration rubber assembly and found two distinct shapes with reduced stiffness. Results show that the vibration at the cabin frame was reduced by approximately 35% or 47.6% compared with the initial design using the two optimized models.

지상 무인체계용 다중입출력 통신 시스템 설계 및 성능시험 분석 (Design and Experiments Analysis of MIMO Communication System for Ground Unmanned Systems)

  • High-capacity video, control and situation awareness data should be transmitted efficiently to control robots properly in the ground unmanned system, which requires the technology maximizing the communication range and the data transmission throughput. This technology is connected to the OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access)-MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) transmission technology under the limited bandwidth and transmission power. In this paper, we design MIMO communication system for ground unmanned systems, and investigate the data reception performance experimentally, comparing with SISO(Single Input Single Output) system. Experiment results show that the data reception performance of MIMO is significantly improved compared to that of SISO, e.g. 4dB gain of sensitivity and 5dB of SNR at the value MPR = 1, for the mobile stations with $2{\times}2$ STBC diversity.

  • 본 논문에서는 패턴 인식기를 설계하기 위하여 개별 입력 공간을 기반으로 한 퍼지 뉴럴 네트워크를 소개한다. 제안된 퍼지 뉴럴 네트워크는 각 입력 공간을 개별적으로 분할함으로서 네트워크를 구성한다. 규칙의 전반부는 개별적 입력 공간을 퍼지 분할하여 독립적으로 구성하고, 규칙의 후반부는 다항식으로서 표현된다. 퍼지 뉴럴 네트워크의 학습은 퍼지 규칙의 후반부에 있는 뉴런의 연결가중치를 조정함으로써 실현되고, 오류 역전파 알고리즘을 이용하여 실현한다. 또한, 제안한 네트워크의 파라미터를 최적화하기 위하여 실수 코딩 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한다. 마지막으로, 패턴 인식을 위한 실험 데이터를 이용하여 최적화된 패턴 인식기를 설계한다.

비례적분+이중적분 제어기를 이용한 정상상태 응답 개선 (Improvement of Steady State Response Using PI+Double Integral Controller)

  • The performance characteristics of a dynamic control system are evaluated according to the transient and steady-state responses. The transient performance is the controllability of the output for the tracking of the reference or the ability to reduce or reject the effects of unwanted disturbances; alternatively, the steady-state performance is represented by the magnitude of the control error at the steady state. As the effects of the two performances on each other are reciprocal, a controller design that shows a zero steady-state error for the ramp input is uncommon because of the challenge regarding the achievement of an acceptable transient response. This paper proposes a PI+double-integral controller for the elimination of the steady-state error for the ramp input while a sound transient performance is maintained. The control-gain design procedure is described by the second-order response for the step input and the response of the error dynamics for the ramp input. The PI+double-integral controller is designed for the first-order transfer function that is derived from a system identification with the open-loop experiment data of the dc-motor. The simple structure of the proposed controller enables the adoption of a low-end microcontroller for the implementation of a real-time control. The experiment results show that the control performance is as effective as that of the simulation analysis for the operating point of linear system; furthermore, the PI+double-integral controller can be conveniently applied to the control system, which is desirable for the improvement of the steady-state error.

교무업무시스템의 사용자 인터페이스 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on User Interface Enhancement for NEIS School Affairs Business System)

  • 현행 교무업무시스템의 사용자 인터페이스(User Interface, UI)는 데이터 입력방식이 복잡하고, 유사 항목들 사이나 관련 기능 메뉴들 사이에 연계가 원활하지 않아 업무의 효율이 떨어진다. 여기에서 UI는 해당 시스템 사용자가 업무를 수행하는데 필요한 입출력, 입출력 관련 기능, 메뉴구성 등을 포함한 포괄적 개념이다. 본 논문에서 우선, 경기도내 3개 초등학교 교사 100명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 기존 교무업무시스템의 문제점을 파악하였다. 기존 교무업무시스템의 UI 문제점들은 수작업에 의한 입력과 메뉴구성의 불편, 학사 일정과 교육과정의 연계 미비, 출결관리 및 교과평가의 복잡성 등이다. 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 입력기능과 메뉴구성 등이 개선된 UI를 고안하여 교사들에게 제시한 후 다시 설문조사를 수행하여 그 결과를 평가하였다. 평가 결과에 따르면, 입력 편의성과 사용자 중심의 화면 구성 등의 면에서 UI가 개선되는 것을 크게 선호하였다.

Estimation of Composite Laminate Design Allowables Using the Statistical Characteristics of Lamina Level Test Data

  • A methodology for determining the design allowables of composite laminates by using lamina level test data and finite element analysis (FEA) is proposed and verified in this paper. An existing method that yields the laminate design allowables by using the complete test results for laminates was improved to reduce the expensive and time-consuming tests. Input property samples for FEA were generated after considering the statistical distribution characteristics of lamina level test data., and design allowables were derived from several FEA analyses of laminates. To apply and verify the proposed method, Hexcel 8552 IM7 test data were used. For both un-notched and open-hole laminate configurations, it was found that the design allowables obtained from the analysis correctly predicted the laminate test data within the confidence interval. The potential of the present simulation to substitute the laminate tests was demonstrated well.
