  • Let D be an integral domain, P be a nonzero prime ideal of D, $\{P_{\alpha}{\mid}{\alpha}{\in}{\mathcal{A}}\}$ be a nonempty set of prime ideals of D, and $\{I_{\beta}{\mid}{\beta}{\in}{\mathcal{B}}\}$ be a nonempty family of ideals of D with ${\cap}_{{\beta}{\in}{\mathcal{B}}}I_{\beta}{\neq}(0)$. Consider the following conditions: (i) If $P{\subseteq}{\cup}_{{\alpha}{\in}{\mathcal{A}}}P_{\alpha}$, then $P=P_{\alpha}$ for some ${\alpha}{\in}{\mathcal{A}}$; (ii) If ${\cap}_{{\beta}{\in}{\mathcal{B}}}I_{\beta}{\subseteq}P$, then $I_{\beta}{\subseteq}P$ for some ${\beta}{\in}{\mathcal{B}}$. In this paper, we prove that D satisfies $(i){\Leftrightarrow}D$ is a generalized weakly factorial domain of ${\dim}(D)=1{\Rightarrow}D$ satisfies $(ii){\Leftrightarrow}D$ is a weakly Krull domain of dim(D) = 1. We also study the t-operation analogs of (i) and (ii).

  • Let D be an integral domain, Spec(D) the set of prime ideals of D, and X a subspace of the Zariski topology on Spec(D). We show that X is compact if and only if given any ideal I of D with $I{\nsubseteq}P$ for all $P{\in}X$, there exists a finitely generated idea $J{\subseteq}I$ such that $J{\nsubseteq}P$ for all $P{\in}X$. We also prove that if D = ${\cap}_{P{\in}X}D_P$ and if * is the star-operation on D induced by X, then X is compact if and only if * $_f$-Max(D) ${\subseteq}$X. As a corollary, we have that t-Max(D) is compact and that ${\mathcal{P}}$(D) = {P${\in}$ Spec(D)$|$P is minimal over (a : b) for some a, b${\in}$D} is compact if and only if t-Max(D) ${\subseteq}\;{\mathcal{P}}$(D).

  • Using T-lymphocytes obtained from rat peripheral blood, we found that the 44kD/pI6.8 protein was the major phosphoprotein of T-lymphocytes under basal condition, and that the 44kD/pI6.3 protein was a new phosphoprotein appeared in T-lymphocytes stimulated with ${\beta}-agonist$. The phosphorylation of the 44kD/pI6.3 protein was also induced by forskolin but inhibited by H-8 pretreatment. To clarify the character of the 44kD/pI6.3 protein, we used Con-A and kinase inhibitors, H-7 and W-7. Con-A stimulation induced phosphorylation of 44kD/pI 6.3 protein but that was inhibited by W-7 pretreatment. The phosphorytation of 44kD/pI6.3 protein was not induced by the PKC activator, PMA. Instead, the phosphorylation of 44kD/pI6.8 protein was reduced by H-7, a PKC inhibitor. From the above results,it can be concluded that the 44kD/pI6.3 protein can be a common substrate for A-kinase and CaM kinase. The two dimensional tryptic peptide mapping revealed that the 44kD/pI6.8 and 44kD/pI6.3 proteins are different.

  • A study was made to investigate the effects of concerning factors with IGF-I recovery on the final IGF-I concentration in the effluent and to establish recovery conditions of IGF-I using liquid emulsion membranes(LEM). D2EHPA was best carrier among Amberlite LA2, Aliquit 336 and D2EHPA for recovery rate of IGF-I. Recovery rate of IGF-I by D2EHPA volume in the oil phase was increased as increasing D2EHPA volume, and optimal volume of D2EHPA was 5% in this experiment. The recovery rate of IGF-I by D2EHPA was increased by the decreasing from pH 7 to pH 4 of external phase. Therefore, optimal pH value was 4.0. Optimal concentrations of sulfuric acid in internal phase, paraffin oil in oil phase and Span 80 for recovery rate of IGF-I were 0.1M, 2.0% and 5%, respectively, and optimal W/O rate was 2. These results suggested that optimal conditions for recovery of IGF-I were D2EHPA(5%) as carrier, pH 4.0, 0.1M sulfuric acid, 2% paraffin oil, 2.0 W/O rate and 5.0% Span 80.

But the highest value of mean importance percentage(M.I.P.) was D. macropodum, 32.8%. 2. The highest I.P. value at tree layer in Carpinus laxiflora community was C. laxiflora, 47.4%. The highest M.I.P. value was C. laxiflora, 28.8% and M.I.P. value of D. macropodum was 24.0%. 3. The highest I.P. value at tree layer in D. macropodum community was D. macropodum, 55.6%. C. laxiflora and Q. mogolica I.P. value was 14.8% and 6.8%, respectively. The highest M.I.P. value was D. macropodum, 47.9%. Sapium japonicum and C. laxiflora M.I.P. value was 11.4% and 10.7%, respectively. 4. The highest I.P. value at tree layer in Quercus variabilis community was C. laxiflora, 20.8%. Q. variabilis and Acer pseudosieboldianum I.P. value was 15.3% and 12.5%, respectively. The highest M.I.P. value was D. macropodum, 21.5%. It needs to the continuous monitoring of vegetation and importance percentage change in tree layer and subtree layer of D. macropodum. The researching results of D. macropodum distribution, the distribution range of D. macropodum showed expanded more than range of Lim and Oh' result(1999). In other words, it was distributed low density level between Najangsa temple and Byeokryeonam, and distributed in upper Keumsun waterfall and Wonjeok upper valley. D. macropodum was appeared on hiking trails around from Wonjeokam to Bulchulbong. Especially, it was found in this study that D. macropodum was distributed on Seoraebong's north which placed outside area of Naejangsa region. In this study, it was considered that distribution range of D. macropodum was expanded. Also, it is expected to be used as a result of the field study of changing distribution study of broad leaved evergreen forest due to global warming.

  • This study attempted to define reference data for the distribution of vitamin d status and to explore the relationship between vitamin D status and related biochemical indices in Korean women. The vitamin D status of 179 Korean women aged from 20 to 75 years was analyzed by using HPLC(High Pressure Liquid Chromatography). Related biochemical indices such as iPTH, alkaline phosphatase, creatinine, albumin, Ca, Mg and P were also measured. The mean serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D and 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D were s25.8ng/ml and 89.8pg/ml, respectively. Low 25-hydroxyvitamin D (<25nmol/L) was found in 29 subjects(16.5%). There was a significantly progressive decrease in serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D with increasing age(p<0.05). After in their, there was a dramatical reduction in 25-hydroxyvitamin D(p<0.05). It was also significant in post-menopasusal women compared with pre-menopausal women(p<0.000). Serum alkaline phosphatase levels increased significantly with age(p<0.001). Whereas serum calcium and phosphorus levels remained constant with age. Serum 250-hydroxyvitamin D was invesely related to iPTH (p<0.05) and alkaline phophatase (p<0.001).
