d-q 변환에서의 고조파 맥동 제거 (A Rejection of Harmonic Ripples for d-q Transformation)

  • This paper presents a simple notch filter, which is so suitable for three-phase unbalanced and distorted power line. In the d-q synchronous transformation, three-phase unbalanced and distorted voltages generate lots of ripple voltages on d-q axes. The ripples make disturbances on controllers such as PLL of phase tracking. Unbalanced state makes ripple of double the frequency of power line. Odd harmonics 5th and 7th on the line make even 4th and 6th ripples on d-q axes due to the rotating reference frame, respectively. Cascaded two comb filters, delay lines 1/4T and 1/8T, are adopted for the ripple rejection. The filter rejects harmonics 2nd, 4th, 6th, 10th and so on. They are very effective to remove the ripples of both unbalance and distortion. The filter, implemented by two FIFOs on an experimental system, is adopted on a PLL controller of power line phase tracking. Through the simulation and experimental results, performance of the proposed comb filter has been validated.

  • 회전하는 동기 좌표계 d-q 변환을 이용한 단상 능동 전력 필터의 새로운 제어기를 제안하였다. 힐버트 변환기를 사용하여 $90{\circ}$의 위상차를 가지는 두 개의 교류 신호를 만든다. 이 신호들을 회전하는 동기 좌표계 d-q 변환을 이용하여 기본파 성분을 직류로 변환할 수 있고 따라서 고조파 검출이 용이하다. 순시 유효 전력의 평균값을 구한다. 역률 보상을 하므로 전원 전류는 전원 전압과 동위상이다. 단상에서의 전력 공식으로부터 전원 전류의 크기를 알 수 있다. 능동 전력 필터의 보상 전류의 기준 신호는 전원 전류의 기준신호에서 부하 전류를 빼주면 구할 수 있다. 새롭게 제안된 제어기에 히스테리시스 전류 제어기를 적용하여 시뮬레이션 하였다. 능동 전력 필터가 부하전류의 고조파와 무효전력을 보상하여 전원 전류가 전원전압과 동위상이 되고 전원전류가 정현파에 가깝게 되는 것을 확인하였다. 힐버트 변환기는 전대역 여파기를 사용하여 구현하였다.

  • The transient voltage characteristics of capacitor self-exited induction generator are analyzed by the state equation which is obtained from the d-q axis equivalent circuit of stationary reference frame and torque equation. The d-q equivalent circuit is composed using the condition of stationary reference frame. The mutual inductance is only considered as a function of magnetizing current in the equivalent circuit. The characteristics are analyzed and discussed by the backward Euler method for various load conditions under specified initial conditions and input.

Graphic-programming 을 이용한 주축용 유도전동기의 토크감시시스템 개발 (Development of Torque Monitoring System of Induction Spindle Motor using Graphic-programming)

  • In vector control technique, stator currents of an induction motor are transformed to equivalent d-q currents in a reference frame consist of d and q axis, each of which is coincide with flux and torque direction respectively. Since the current in q-axis is related to the torque in a synchronously rotating frame, torque is estimated as a function of q-axis current and flux. In this paper, a method to estimate torque of an induction motor based on the measurement of 3-phase currents and rotating velocity of a rotor is presented. Graphic-programming is used to measure signals, to estimate the torque and to show the result in the form of user friendly graph in window environment. To stabilize the fluctuation of estimated torque caused from the small measurement error of the rotor velocity, the stator current is reconstructed in a program based on measured signals. The experimental results executed under the velocity of 500 rpm, 1500 rpm without load and 1500 rpm with load show that the proposed method estimates the torque very well.

MPEG-4 부호화기에서의 인트라 프레임 양자화 레벨 선정 (Quantization Level Selection of Intra-Frame for MPEG-4 Video Encoder)

  • 본 논문에서는 MPEG-4부호화기에서 인트라 프레임의 양자화 레벨을 구하는 방법을 제안한다. 인트라 프레임은 GOP 내에서 참조 프레임으로써 다른 프레임에 계속 전파되므로 이 프레임의 성능에 의해 전체 GOP의 성능이 크게 영향을 받을 만큼 중요한 부분이다. 본 논문에서는 인트라 프레임 의 양자화 레벨을 효과적으로 구할 수 있도록 할당된 비트 수와 입력되는 영상의 복잡도, 그리고 GOP의 구조를 이용하는 방법을 제안한다 실험 결과에서는 기존의 방법들이 고정된 값을 사용하여 효율이 저하되거나 영상의 특성에 따라 상이한 성능을 보이는데 비하여 본 논문의 방법은 다양한 영상에 대하여 안정된 결과를 보였다. 제안한 방법을 MPEG-4검증모델에서 선택한 Q2 알고리듬과 비교할 때 영상의 특성에 따라 조금씩의 차이는 있지만 높은 비트 율에서 최대 3.49dB 정도의 높은 이득을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents the characteristics analysis of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors(IPMSMs). The development of this program is based on Matlab. In oder to achieve the development of the program, basis algorithm for IPMSMs analysis took advantage of equivalent magnetic circuit analysis technique. The equivalent magnetic circuit analysis for IPMSMs are based on a rotate synchronous d-q reference frame. The mathematical model of the d-q frame voltage equations is used frequently for the analysis of IPMSMs. This program can consider a cross saturation effect and a iron loss and mechanical loss, and provide fast analysis results of IPMSMs characteristics.

  • Torque ripple control of brushless DC motors has been the persisting issue of the servo drive systems in which the speed fluctuation, vibration and acoustic noise should be minimized. In this paper, a novel approach to achieve the ripple-free torque control with maximum efficiency based on the d-q reference frame is presented and analyzed. The proposed approach can provide the optimized phase current waveforms over wide speed range incorporating cogging torque compensation without an access to the neutral point of the motor windings. Moreover, the undesirable errors caused by the assumptions such as 3 phase balance or symmetry of the phase back EMF between electrical cycles, which are related with the manufacturing imperfections, can be also eliminated. As a result, the proposed approach provides a simple and clear way to obtain the optimal motor excitation currents. A hysteresis current control system is employed to produce high-frequency electromagnetic torque ripples for compensation. The validity and applicability of the proposed control scheme to real situations are verified through the simulations and experimental results.

  • In vector control technique, stator currents of an induction motor are transformed to equivalent d-q currents in reference frame consist of d and q axis, each of which is coincide with flux and torque direction respectively. In this paper, the new algorithm is suggested where the stator current through an induction motor torque is monitored by using a vector control method where an additional equipment is not need. The G-programming is used to apply the suggested algorithm in the experiment and this is applied to an actual system to monitor the torque value of an induction motor on real time. To solve the vibration trouble of estimated torque caused from an unbalanced real rotating speed of an induction motor and measured rotating speed by suggesting the reconstructed in a method based on measurement current signal. This produced system testifies an accuracy of an induction motor through the experiment by comparing the reference value of the control method.

Universal SSR Small Signal Stability Analysis Program of Power Systems and its Applications to IEEE Benchmark Systems

  • The paper presents a novel approach of constructing the state matrix of the multi-machine power system for SSR (subsynchronous resonance) analysis using the linearized equations of individual devices including electrical transmission network dynamics. The machine models in the local d-q reference frame are integrated with the network models in the common R-I reference frame by simply transforming their output equations into the R-I frame where the transformed output is used as the input to the network dynamics or vice versa. The salient feature of the formulation is that it allows for modular construction of various component models without rearranging the overall state space formulation. This universal SSR small signal stability program provides a flexible tool for systematic analyses of SSR small-signal stability impacts of both conventional devices such as generation systems and novel devices such as power electronic apparatus and their controllers. The paper also presents its application results to IEEE benchmark models.

이중 차 전압을 이용한 전압 새그 검출 기법에 관한 연구 (The Study on Detecting Scheme of Voltage Sag using the Two Difference Voltage)

  • In this paper, the detection scheme of the voltage variation using a two difference voltage is proposed. The conventional sag detector is from a single-phase digital phase-locked loop (DPLL) that is based on a d-q transformation using an all-pass filter (APF). The APF generates a virtual q-axis voltage component with $90^{\circ}$ phase delay but the APF cannot generate the virtual q-axis voltage depending on the phase of the grid voltage. To overcome the problem, q-axis voltage component is generated from difference between the current and previous value of d-axis voltage component in the stationary reference frame. However, the difference voltage around the zero crossing is not enough to detect the voltage sag. Therefore, the new detection scheme using the two difference voltage which can detect the sag around the zero crossing voltage is proposed.
