  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to clarify the daily dose and uses of Goju-tang in Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases. Methods : We compared major editions of Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases with the original text of Supplement to the Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold and chose the most appropriate text. If none of the existing texts seemed reasonable, We compared texts item by item. When there is nothing adequate even item by item, it was newly modified. These results were compared with currently distributed Pinellia Tuber and standards of eggs. Results : Goju-tang consisted of Goju(vinegar), Pinellia Tuber and an eggshell. Generally, a daily dose was extracted at once and taken 3 times a day, but in Goju-tang, 4 pieces of Pinellia Tuber and one-third Sheong of Goju(solvent) were used, which were one third of average volume. Pinellia Tuber was used cut in small pieces. And it was boiled gradually by low heat. Goju was mainly to reduce the pungency of Pinellia Tuber by cutting raphides of calcium oxalate. The Pot preparing medicines was eggshell which was chosen by its small size, because the volume of Pinellia Tuber and Goju was one-third of average volume. Since an egg shell is consisted of protein, it didn't react with vinegar(Goju). Conclusions : The 4 pieces of Pinellia Tuber and one-third Sheong of Goju(Vinegar) in the Goju-tang were one-third of average dose, and the eggshell was Pot preparing medicines.

  • PURPOSE. This study assessed the physical and mechanical properties of interim crown materials fabricated using various digital techniques after accelerated aging. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Three groups of interim dental restorative materials (N = 20) were tested. The first group (CO) was fabricated using a conventional manual method. The second group (ML) was prepared from prefabricated resin blocks for the milling method and cut into specimen sizes using a cutting disc. The third group (3D) was additively manufactured using a digital light-processing (DLP) 3D printer. Aging acceleration treatments using toothbrushing and thermocycling simulators were applied to half of the specimens corresponding to three years of usage in the oral environment (N = 10). Surface roughness (Ra), Vickers microhardness, 3-point bending, sorption, and solubility tests were performed. A 2-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Fisher's multiple comparison test were used to compare the results among the groups. RESULTS. The mean surface roughness (Ra) of the resin after accelerated aging was significantly higher in the CO and ML groups than that before aging, but not in the 3D group. All groups showed reduced hardness after accelerated aging. The flexural strength values were highest in the 3D group, followed by the ML and CO groups after accelerated aging. Accelerated aging significantly reduced water sorption in the ML group. CONCLUSION. According to the tested material and 3D printer type, both 3D-printed and milled interim restoration resins showed higher flexural strength and modulus, and lower surface roughness than those prepared by the conventional method after accelerated aging.

  • The existing self-supervised learning-based CutPaste generated synthetic data by cutting and attaching specific patches from normal images and then performed anomaly detection. However, this method has a problem in that there is a clear difference in the boundary of the patch. NSA for solving these problems have achieved higher anomaly detection performance by generating natural synthetic data through Poisson Blending. However, NSA has the disadvantage of having many hyperparameters that need to be adjusted for each class. In this paper, synthetic data similar to normal were generated by a simple method of making the size of the synthetic patch very small. At this time, since the patches are so locally synthesized, models that learn local features can easily overfit synthetic data. Therefore, we performed anomaly detection using gMLP, which learns global features, and even with simple synthesis methods, we were able to achieve higher performance than conventional self-supervised learning techniques.

  • Methods for harvesting and storage of rice were also originally introduced from the ancient China like other practices of agricultural techniques. Thus, optimum time or rice harvesting was adopted by appropriate draining to prevent the losses, and efficient tools were utilized for harvesting and manufacturing. In addition, our unique and original techniques for rice storage were learned and handed down, which prevented winds and rains, and allowed good ventilation. In the 15th and 16th centuries, treatment of smartweed extracts as emphasized to prevent insect damage for stored barley and rice cutting immediately at harvest was encouraged to prevent shattering of rice grains. In the 18th and 19th centuries, means for prevention of damages by water, insects and rats when grains stored in the field were suggested. Also, studies for ecology of various rice cultivars and storage techniques for a long period of time were necessarily emphasized to assume the optimum time of harvest regionally and to cooperatively work timely.

  • While the construction of dismantling the old industrial complex and restoring the dismantled industrial site to its original natural environment the is underway. In this paper, we introduce a case of dismantling a turbine building which one of the a large steel frame structures in an old industrial complex by applying the progressive collapse method among the blasting demolition methods. We used a charge container that generates a metal jet to cut dismantling the turbine building. The thickness of the steel structure was adjusted to 30 mm or less by applying gouging, which was a method of digging deep grooves by gas and oxygen flames or arc thermal, in the part where the cutting thickness was thick in the blasting section. The total amount of charge used for the blasting of turbine building was 175 kg, 165 electronic detonators and 124 charge containers. As a result of the blasting demolition, the turbine building was collapsed precisely according to the estimated direction. The blasting demolition was completed without causing any damage to the surrounding facilities.

  • Background: This study aimed to identify the present level and needs of clinical dental hygienists and to present the Borich needs assessment and the locus for focus model as integrated priorities. Methods: The participants of this study were dental hygienists working in dental clinics (hospitals). The final data of the 194 participants were analyzed using frequency analysis and a paired sample t-test. To analyze the need for clinical dental hygienists to perform work, the Borich priority determination formula was used. The x-y plane consisting of four quadrants was used to analyze the need using the locus for focus model, which helps to determine the priority while showing visual effects. Results: "Scaling" was the highest required level for clinical dental hygienists, and "panorama taking" was the highest present level. The priorities of educational needs were systematically and visually derived from dental hygienists who were currently working through the Borich needs assessment and the locus for focus model for each task performed in the clinical field. Through the priorities of these two models, a total of 13 items appeared in the common high-level area; "oral health care (disability)," "oral health care (systemic disease)," "applying a rubber dam," "professional mechanical tooth cleaning," "root planing," "taking vital signs," "medication counseling," "wire cutting," "removing cement after removing band/bracket," "delivering bracket," "preparing mini-screw implantation," "dental insurance claim," and "patient reception." Conclusion: Based on the results, the department of dental hygiene should maintain and improve the standardized clinical practice curriculum and clinical dental hygienists' practical skills and contribute to the realization of the legal scope of dental hygienists, reflecting the requirements of clinical fields.

  • Residual stress that can occur during the metal additive manufacturing process is an important factor that must be properly controlled for the precise production of metal parts through 3D printing. Therefore, in this study, the factors affecting these residual stresses were investigated using an experimental method. For the experiment, a specimen was manufactured through an additive manufacturing process, and the amount of deformation was measured by cutting it. By appropriately calibrating the measured data using methods such as curve fitting, it was possible to quantitatively analyze the effect of process parameters and metal powder reuse on deformation due to residual stress. From this result, it was confirmed that the factor that has the greatest influence on the magnitude of deformation due to residual stress in the metal additive manufacturing process is whether the metal powder is reused. In addition, it was confirmed that process parameters such as laser pattern and laser scan angle can also affect the deformation.
