간판의 기능과 디자인 요소가 고객 선호도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Function and Design Elements of Sign on Customer Preference)

  • Each municipality is promoting signboard improvement projects, but the effectiveness is not great. The main reason for this is that when the signboard is manufactured the location of the shop is only dependent on the visual aspiration effect and it is not harmonized with the building by applying uniform design. The signboard are installed almost everywhere in the city, such as residential, natural and commercial environments. And the signboard provides various services such as traffic information and life safety to customers. Also, by applying design and functional elements, we can enhance the competitiveness of companies and improve the urban environment by enhancing the mutual connection effect of customers and space. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of design elements and functional elements of the signboard on customer preference. In other words, we conducted surveys and analyzes of 152 specialists and non-experts (customers, self-employed). As a result of the study, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the functions and design elements of signboards are important factors that have a positive effect on customer preference. Second, the function of the signboard has a positive(+) influence on the customer preference, and the information providing function and the corporate image side function directly affect the customer preference. Third, color elements have a positive(+) meaningful effect on customer preference. Especially, similar color sign affects customer preference positively. Fourth, the signboard design component has a positive(+) significant effect on customer preference. In particular, typefaces have a positive effect on customer preference.

  • 백화점, 할인매장과 같이 불특정 다수가 이용하는 대규모 판매시설은 화재시 방화관리 담당자의 비상대응능력 및 방화관리의 적절성이 내부 공간에 익숙하지 않은 고객의 피난행동에 결정적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 특히 대규모 판매시설의 경우 대부분의 피난계단 등 안전한 피난출구가 평상시 고객이 접근할 수 없는 백스페이스(Back space)에 위치하기 때문에 고객의 안전한 피난을 위해서는 방화관리자에 의한 신속한 피난개시 및 적절한 피난유도가 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 백화점과 할인매장 방화관리 담당자를 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통하여 방화관리측면에서 피난행동에 영향을 미치는 요인 및 화재 시 방화관리자의 대응행동 특성에 대하여 분석하였다.

문화마케팅을 위한 주택문화관의 트렌드 변화에 관한 연구 (A study on the trend change of Housing Cultural Center for cultural marketing)

  • Recently major construction companies are building Housing Cultural Center instead of existing model house or housing gallery for accomplishing new marketing strategy. This Housing Cultural Center are different with existing model house or housing gallery on scale, spacial composition and operating program. And Background of differentiation is caused by change of housing market's environment, consumer's awareness level, service and marketing strategy. Because existing model house or housing gallery can not supply various consumer's needs and change of awareness level. Therefore, recent Housing Cultural Center is focused on cultural marketing for rapidly adjusting to new customer's need, including new customer acquisition and old customer retention. In accordance with this situation, it is very important to analyze out type and trend of Housing Cultural Center as facility for enlargement of cultural service and companies's social role for consumer. Therefore, the purpose of this study is an analysis about the trend of Housing Cultural Center as cultural space and a presentation of concept, function and direction when other construction companies build Housing Cultural Center hereafter.

  • The objective of commercial space design is not only to sell goods but also provide customer experience so called 'Experience marketing'. Therefore, companies are in search for various methods to give special customer experience and interior design is being considered as an important tool. For example, providing catharsis through commercial interior design, or bringing In the concept of hands-on exhibition into sales area relate to affirmative images of specific products or brands. Graphics in various methods has now become important interior design medium of expression. Therefore the study investigates graphical methods that appear in interior space such as objet, frame, optical illusion, moire and information transmission. It also analyzes their applications and roles in commercial spaces as major element in establishing spatial identity.

백화점 매장공간의 성별 탐색 특성과 주시경향에 관한 연구 - 백화점 매장 공간을 대상으로 - (Research on Gender Specification and Their Visual Preferences at Department Store Display Space - Target Department Store Space -)

  • Observation about space is looked steady in an instant, but in continuous movement, one's observation unconsciously stays at different points. In department store, customer actually observes around the store for buying, not focusing on certain point. By studying customer's movement and observation feature, buying desire and interest can be found. For analysis of the different searching-features according to the continuous-observation depending on sex, the study is set up to record movements of customers at women in Department store. The following are the findings. First, Men observed 0.2-0.4 units more in I-II section which are assumed as predominant. The result shows that men can focus on more section (around +0.4%) and longer (around +5.7%) than women do. Second, the same feature of observation depending on sex is that both men and women observe left and right section while keep focusing on middle section. Third, according to the fact that right-focused observation magnificently occurred in the image curved to right, the Space-composition has influenced on the observation of both men and women on the space. Forth, excessive number of display can cause avoidance of observation. Moreover, observation does not stay on the coverage due to wall or post, but is attracted to the brand name. As brand name causes right-focused observation in the image [(8)], brand name can be one of the reasons to attract observation in women apparel store. To sum up, this study is noticeable as it researches about continuous-observation. Furthermore, verifying the result that the composition of space and the placement of products can cause big differences in the observation feature is meaningful outcome.

Exploratory Study to Develop Customers' Experience Measurement Scale of H&B Store

  • Purpose: Recently, Korean cosmetics distribution market has been reorganized with the H&B store. In the domestic cosmetics distribution market, existing brand road shops are decreasing, and multi-shops are leading the H & B stores, which have greatly improved their experience and content. In these environmental changes, the offline distribution channels are turning into the multi-editing shops that have introduced products of various brands and greatly enhanced experiences and contents. Nevertheless, most studies of factors and measurement items for measuring customer experience in the H&B store use Schmitt (1999)'s Strategic Experience Modules (SEMs). Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a measure that is practicable through consideration of the in-store customer experience components of the H&B store. Research design, data and methodology: Based on Schmitt's Strategic Experience Modules (SEMs), which are widely used in customer experience marketing, the metric pool was constructed through customer and literature research on H & B store managers. Since then, 101 preliminary surveys and 211 main surveys have been conducted in order to propose a dimension of customer experience and refine the metrics. Results: As a result of the research, H&B store's customer experience was derived from a measurement model consisting of 19 measurement items in total of five dimensions: environmental experience, intellectual experience, behavioral experience, tech experience, and relationship experience. This study analyzed that compared to the existing Schmitt's Strategic Experience Modules (SEMs), (1) emotional experience expanded to environmental experience, (2) Cognitive and relationship experiences are maintained (3) behavioral experience was subdivided into physical and technical experiences. In particular, the environmental experience has been proposed as a major component is an important point because the H&B store recently opened a large flagship store and is competitive in constructing a differentiated space. Conclusions: Related experience was seen as an important component of customer experience in the offline store, but in the process of refining the scale, interaction items with employees of the H&B store were removed, and rather, participation in the APP or SNS channel of the company, event Participation, interaction with other customers, etc. appear to be important, while suggesting the practical implications.

조직공정성과 임파워먼트가 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 -중소언론사 종사자를 대상으로- (The Effect of Organizational Justice and Empowerment on Customer Orientation -For Small and Medium-sized Journalists-)

  • 본 연구는 중소 언론사에 근무하고 있는 종사자들을 대상으로 하여 조직공정성과 임파워먼트가 고객지향성에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 고객지향성에 미치는 영향요인으로 조직공정성의 하위변수는 분배공정성, 절차공정성, 상호공정성으로 설정하였고, 임파워먼트의 하위 변수는 의미성, 역량, 자기결정력, 영향력으로 설정하였다. 분석 결과, 조직공정성의 분배공정성, 절차공정성, 상호공정성은 고객지향성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석되었고, 임파워먼트의 역량, 자기결정력, 영향력 요인은 고객지향성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석되었다. 그러나 임파워먼트의 의미성 요인은 고객지향성에 영향을 미치지 않는 요인으로 나타났다. 중소 언론사들의 근무환경은 인터넷 환경에서 시간과 공간에 대한 제약 없이 업무를 수행하고 있다. 이러한 환경은 종전에는 경험해 보지 못했던 디지털 환경이다. 그러나 조직의 공정성이나 임파워먼트 요인들은 선행 연구결과와 같은 관점에서 종전과 같이 고객지향성에 중요한 영향으로 분석되었다.

전자상거래에서의 벡터 공간 모델링을 통한 Configuration 시스템 (Configuration System through Vector Space Modeling In I-Commerce)

  • 최근 전자상거래에는 일대일 마케팅이나 협력적 정보여과기법등을 이용한 다양한 추천서비스가 도입되고 있다. 이러한 추천 서비스의 형태는 다양한 제약 조건을 갖고 계산 복잡도가 높은 제품의 경우에는 고객을 만족시킬 만큼 적절한 추천서비스가 이루어지기 어려울 것으로 본다. 본 논문에서는 Clancey의 Classification Problem Solving 방법과 제약조건 기반 Configuration기술을 통합하여, 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 이 방법은 Clancey의 이론에 따라 구성 복잡도가 높은 제품의 해집합 도메인을 분할하여 문제의 복잡도를 줄일 수 있도록 하였으며, 여기에서 선택된 도메인을 제약조건 기반 Configuration기술에 적용시킴으로써, 구매자와 제품 컴포넌트 사이에 존재하는 제약조건을 처리할 수 있도록 하였다. 제약조건기반 Configuration기술은 구매자에게 적합한 제품을 구성하기 위해서 제막 조건 판촉 문제(Constraint Satisfaction Problem; CSP)해결 기법을 이용한다. 또한 Clancey이론은 구매자의 만족도를 고려하기 위해서 정보검색 분야의 벡터공간 모델링 방법을 변형하여 적용하였다. 마지막으로 본 모델의 평가를 위해 전체 시스템의 수행시간 및 구매자 만족도를 비교 분석하였다

  • The home interior market has been expanding due to the continuing increase of single-person households, the craze for DIY interior design, the increasing demands for old-house renovation and the customer needs for good housing conditions. Now the building materials companies are scrambling for the whole interior market share. The heretofore companies have focused only on the single items, but now they are promoting the comprehensive interior products as total interior brands. Besides, they use their own showrooms to share their brand culture experience and have communication with their customers. As for the show rooms, they have got to represent the identities of the building materials brands. And to present them effectively, it needs to meet the customer needs and emotions. In this connection, the object of this study is to clarify the definitions and the characteristics of the show rooms and the experience design through the literature research, analysis the space characteristics of the experience design in the show rooms of total interior brands, investigate their customer satisfaction and present the direction and the effective methods of the space design for the show rooms of the future. And the study result shows the experience design is the key factor to the high user satisfaction. Thus, the show rooms should provide the well-balanced experience with the adoption of a variety of experience design elements. Especially, the experience design elements are needed in the room to display the merchandise. Lastly, the show rooms are expected to increase constantly, so the study targeted at the specific area, Seoul should be expanded to other areas. And this study based on the customer survey alone have a limit to giving the concrete proposals. Therefore, the follow-up studies with the different methods such as one-to-one interview will be in demand.

  • Multiplex have many screen in one place and provide customer Multiple Entertainment Option. Today multiplex cinema is a new culture place for the public to approach most easily in Korea. It also gave a chance to recognize how important a popular culture place is. but it has a problem that this space wasn't designed for customer and don't have even a rest area for them as they focused only on economic growth. therefore, in this study, it point's the utilization of Service Areas problems and provide basic data of interior design for customer.
