Effect of Customer Relationship Management(CRM) on Customer Satisfaction in the Equipment Construction Companies Using Kano Model (Kano 모델을 이용한 설비시공회사의 CRM이 고객만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study investigates the effect of CRM activities of Korean equipment construction companies on the quality satisfaction perceived by consumers as an analysis method using Kano model. Methods: It use the Kano model to classify the quality characteristics of the CRM activities of equipment construction companies, focusing on consumer perception, and analyze the effect on the level of quality satisfaction perceived by consumers. Results: The results showed that most of quality attributes of CRM activities in the equipment companies were categorized as 'one-dimensional' quality. Conclusion: The CRM activities in equipment construction compaies is verified to be essential component of successful strategy to improve customer's satisfaction.

  • Purpose - The study aims to analyze the VMD(Visual Merchandising) perception factors in recent sporting goods store and clarify the effect of each VMD perception factors on brand image, satisfaction, and customer revisit intention. The VMD perception factors play an important role in attracting and actually inducing sales to the visiting customers. It has investigated the effect of VMD perception on customer satisfaction and revisit intention. It is expected that the company's marketing strategy with VMD will be differentiated and competitive in sports item stores, brand image enhancement, customer retention, and acquisition. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to verify the hypotheses of this study, a total of 380 questionnaires had been distributed. 360 respondents were used in the final analysis excluding 20 respondents' incomplete answers. The SPSS 18.0 program was used and the data analysis was conducted for the demographic characteristics and distribution behavior. Principal Components Analysis was used for the common factor extraction for validity analysis, and factor analysis was conducted to verify such as validity in brand image or brand attitude. As for Multiple regression analysis, was performed to verify and in the research model, and in and , the mediation was defined through the Sobel Test in order to verify the brand image mediating effects on VMD, store satisfaction, and revisit inquiry of sports store. Results - Qualitative research shows that VMD sub-variables such as aesthetic, fitness, and functional convenience influence store satisfaction and revisit intention. As a result of analyzing the mediating effect of the brand image, the more VMD is strengthened, the more brand image is improved and store satisfaction is also increased. Conclusions - VMD enhancement requires a VMD strategy aligned with the company's management policies and objectives, a visual directing and consistent concept that delivers a strong message to customers. The customer actual purchasing behavior is a combination of various factors such as sports item stores' interior design, display, advertisement promotion like POP(Point of Purchase), salespersons and their service quality, so that the VMD image and the brand image must be consistent and a unique strategic plan is required.

  • Purpose: Social media's increasing adoption and the development of digital technology have completely changed how businesses interact with their clients. The current study is to examine the impact of live broadcasts on consumers' perceptions and actions across a range of fresh food goods. Research design, data and methodology: The scrutiny relies on the existing peer-reviewed literature, which may prevent a comprehensive evaluation of some recent advancements in the subject. Despite these caveats, the outcomes of this scrutiny are anticipated to contribute significantly to our understanding of the effect of live broadcast marketing on consumers' propensity to make purchases. Results: Previous literature review clearly states that 'Live Broadcast of Fresh Food' to attract relevant customers should be followed: (1) Increased Product Transparency and Trust, (2) Enhanced Customer Engagement, (3) Impact on Customer's Perception of Product Quality, and (4) sense of urgency and scarcity. Conclusions: All in all, the study's advice for firms in the food industry to improve their marketing efforts through live broadcasts have important practical ramifications. Promoting openness and trust in the production process and with the audience boosts a brand's reliability. Customers are more likely to participate and feel more connected to a brand.

The Influence of Physical Environment on Buying-Risk Perception: Customers at Franchise Korean-Restaurant

  • The purpose of this article was to examine the influence of physical environment on customer's buying-risk perception at franchise Korean restaurants. In this research factor analysis and multi regression analysis were used. Physical environment were divided to 3 factors and risk perception to 5 factors. Internal environment affected negatively financial risk (p<0.001), time risk (p<0.001) and psychological risk (p<0.001). External environment had negative influence on time risk (p<0.05) and psychological risk (p<0.05). And the other environment negatively affected financial risk (p<0.001), time risk (p<0.001) and psychological risk (p<0.05). According to these results, we confirmed that various physical environments influenced on the risk perception of customers. As a result, food service corporations need to deal with physical environment efficiently. And the findings of this research would help their business management to build effective service marketing strategies and to satisfy the needs of customers at franchise Korean restaurants.

  • As the risk of technical leakage is increasing, technology protection support systems for small and medium-sized businesses have gained attention. This paper analyzed the perception gap of the user and policy-maker regarding technology protection support systems. First, to identify key elements of technology protection support systems and construct measurement factors, interviews with experts are conducted. Then, surveys are conducted to analyze the perception differences between the users and policy-makers. Factor analysis and ANOVA have been utilized to analyze survey results. The result shows that the perception gaps exist in the following areas: management system, cost reduction, copyright protection, customer satisfaction, leakage prevention, and awareness. To enhance the effectiveness of technology protection support systems, this paper suggests technology protection support systems should be customized in terms of the company's size and type of busines.

  • Purpose - This study's purpose is to examine the effects of the country-of-origin antecedents on overall attitudes and the impact of overall attitudes on satisfaction and loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - This study provides useful insights into international female purchasing behavior in the cosmetic industry in South Korea. This study explores the elements of country-of-origin antecedents, (cultural interest, perception of brand image, perception of fashion, perception of product quality, perception of price, and perception of advertising), on overall attitudes as well as the effect of overall attitudes on satisfaction and loyalty. Results - The results show that the effects of such antecedents are significant. Additionally, the effect of overall attitudes on satisfaction and of satisfaction on loyalty were significant. Conclusions - The findings of this study provide some important practical implications. First, with customer brand awareness growing along with products standards, considering the concepts points of parities and points of differences, the Korean cosmetic industry should try to establish brand associations with natural organic ingredients in its cosmetic items, distinguishing them from the majority of non-Korean brands.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and test the casual brand equity measurement, utilizing Heller 5(2001) ‘CBBE(Customer Based Brand Equity) Model' as a theoretical framework. The research was conducted in three steps from May to November in 2001. In the exploratory step, focus-group interview was conducted 5 times for gathering responses related to fashion equity. In Pilot study, 945 university students were surveyed and the data were analyzed to identify the components of fashion brand equity and to develop questionnaires. In the main research, 696 university students evaluated three brands in order to compare their equity that were formed in customers' perception. Statistical analyses were performed with SAS and LISREL 8.12 program using factor analysis and covariance structural equation model. The results were as follows: First, casual brand equity was defined in terms of six components; customer-brand resonance, customer feeling, customer judgment, brand imagery, brand performance and brand awareness. Second, casual brand equity was multi-dimensional brand attitude, which could be measured by 23 items that were different from previous measurement such as Aaker's ‘Brand Equity Ten' and K-BPI.

A Qualitative Study on Customer Management and Response of Apparel Shop Masters

  • The purpose of this study was to categorize customers types in accordance with current shop masters' perception of difficult customers and to identify their responding techniques and know-hows in dealing with those customers in detail, a qualitative study is carried out by conducting thorough interviews with the shop masters. The interview contained questions on occupational hold-ups of shop masters, types of hard-to-handle customers, techniques in handling difficult customers, their know-hows in customer managements and what they perceived as the qualities of a shop master. T The results were as follows: 1) Customers who are perceived as difficult by shop masters are categorized into six types, making unreasonable demands, pointing out product defects, disregarding salespersons, making no purchase after testing products, having no personality and having no response. 2) Responding techniques for difficult customers were categorized into three types, 'active response', 'standby' and 'polite refusal'. 3)The result from the question on know-hows of shop masters in customer management can be divided into 4 groups, providing special treatment or information, building one-to-one relationship with the customer, suggesting garments in accordance with the customer's taste and providing friendly customer service. 4) For the question on perceived qualities as a shop master, individual quality, customer management capacity, work experience and occupational knowledge were answered.

Comprehensive Study of Customers' Perceived Service Quality of Korean Restaurants I : Cross-Cultural Perception on Service Quality of Korean Restaurants by Nationality (국내 한식당의 서비스 품질에 대한 고찰 I : 한식당의 서비스 품질에 대한 국가별 인식 차이 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure customers' perception of the service quality of Korean restaurants and then compare differences in perceived service quality according to customer nationality. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 2812 subjects, and data were analyzed by frequency, chi-square, t-test, one-way ANOVA, factor, reliability, cluster, and discriminant analysis. Results of the study were as follows. The factor analysis of perceived service quality produced four factors, employee service (5 variables), menu quality (4 variables), price & value (4 variables), and physical environment (4 variables). Cronbach's alpha values for reliability were over 0.8 for all factors. Further, a significant difference was observed in service quality, which was perceived according to customer nationality. A higher mean value of perceived service quality was held by foreigners when compared to Koreans. Especially, the mean value of perceived service quality was significantly low for all items for Japanese compared to foreigners. Cluster analysis divided subjects into two groups based on attitude toward service quality of Korean restaurants: an unfavorable group and favorable group. These two groups differed from each other in general characteristics as well. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to find specific service quality factors of enterprises that can maximize the perception of banks' services to users of commercial banks in China, and to establish empirically how these quality factors affect the bank's image. They also want to verify the impact of the positive image of the bank on the user's satisfaction and the willingness to use the bank's services. For empirical verification of this study, questionnaires will be used to customers who have used the services of each of the four commercial banks in China, and the survey was conducted. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS using statistical techniques such as Cronbach' ${\alpha}$, Investigative Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Correlation Analysis, Regression and Difference Verification. The results of the verification were summarized below. First, the quality of service of commercial banks has a partial positive effect on the bank's image. Second, the image of a commercial bank has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Third, the image of a commercial bank has a positive effect on the purpose of use. Fourth, the image of commercial banks has a partial mediated effect between service quality and customer satisfaction. Fifth, the image of a commercial bank has a partial mediated effect between the quality of service and its intended use.
